McDonald's in Wijk 14 Brouwhuis

This McDonald's has been ready for me for as long as I can remember. It's always busy with locals.

The last few times we've been there, something has always gone wrong with the order. One time we ordered a double quarter pounder and got a bun with only one burger on it, and now we order it again and get a euro-banger cheeseburger, terribly annoying...

I hardly ever go there, I'm not a fan of this food.

I have the impression that this particular location falls a bit short of the chain's overall standard (unfortunately, in a negative way). The place is often crowded, and the staff struggles to cope with the sheer number of customers.

This is the third time we've driven all the way from Gemert to McDonald's in Helmond and the McDonald's drive-thru is closed.

Best service we’ve had in any McDonalds all over the world. A lovely bespectacled lady from the crew offered some coloring materials to entertain our toddler. A bit later i saw she did the same to another table with a kid. You normally only get such attentiveness from decent restaurants so this is remarkable. Hope the management gives her proper recognition because these things matter a great deal to customers. Our order also arrived quite quick despite peak lunch hour (ordered thru the app and it got served to our table). Only one bad thing is in the ladies toilet, one toilet was blocked.

⸻ Bad experience at McDonald's Helmond I walked into the drive-thru at McDonald's Helmond feeling quite hungry, but unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. The first thing I did was take my order: the employee mistyped my order several times, forcing me to repeat everything. When I finally got to the pickup window, I discovered half my order was missing. The entire experience felt chaotic and unprofessional. Very disappointing, especially if you just want to grab a full order quickly. Hopefully, this location will improve their organization and service, because this wasn't a pleasant experience for me.

The restaurant area is constantly closed due to staff shortages. And then they want to open a second one in Helmond. They don't have enough staff to run one properly.

Pleasing place to take your kids. There is also some play area outside.

Incredibly filthy place. The floor was covered in napkins, sauce, and fries. It was also very sticky. Only one ordering kiosk was open, and there was a long line.

Happiest and friendliest staff i ever met in a McDonald's. Food was good also.

Good fast food location. The food was nice and hot, which you can't say about every location. Allergy information is readily available and well-known by the staff.

Had to go, I'm not a fan of Mac. Too expensive, I only got a milkshake.

Great McDonald's, it was very busy but the food was still quick. A mistake was corrected in no time.

The staff isn't friendly; it's really like... I have to make money, and that's it. It's filthy for the children, and the restrooms are disgustingly dirty.

Rude manager throws everyone out for no reason, saying they are closed but can go through the drive thru

Always short staffed! Young people who react very snarkily when you complain, and managers who act as if you don't exist as a customer. McDrive is only open sporadically and is closed between 11:00 and 21:00; if you complain, you're referred to the McDonald's in Geldrop. The franchise owner is incredibly lucky his business is still open, but this is a 0.0 on a scale of 10!

We had a Big Arch burger. It was super delicious.

The food is ready quickly, but it also gets cold quickly. The food isn't fresh. And the meat tastes like rubber.

Well, it's a decent mac and cheese, but they make so many mistakes. You're obligated to check the bags when you take it home, because it's almost never right. You get home and get the wrong burger. You order large fries and the container is only half full, or your order is incomplete, and the list goes on. But thankfully, it usually works out well, and we've been enjoying this food ever since.

Always tasty, unfortunately there are days when it is dirty

Very bad. It was dirty, and the staff just walked over the mess without cleaning up. The order was wrong. In short, not recommended.

This is a nice McDonald’s. The staff were less than friendly this visit. Shut the drive thru door in my facev when I was trying to say thank you. The window where you get your food, the young girl didn't seem to be happy to be at work. Not sure what was going on last night but the staff were not happy.

Unfortunately, I got sick from the spicy McChicken last time. Normally, I wouldn't have any problems, but it tasted different than usual. I definitely won't be going back. Otherwise, it's okay, but it's often busy.

I really needed to go to the bathroom. The door wouldn't open. KFC did.

We went to McDonald's last weekend. If you have a large order and your food is cold, you walk up to the staff to tell them, and they almost snatch your fries from your hands, giving you a look from the manager in question (I think he's wearing a white shirt). Then, when you want to order takeout for the home front, they're already closed at 8:30 because we should have checked the door while we were eating inside 🤷‍♀️ Anyway, another large order was placed through the McDonald's drive-thru, and it wasn't even complete when we got home. They're difficult to reach and don't answer the phone!!! I'm now €120 lighter and only half the price, and the staff is terrible and not friendly at all!! I'll spend my money elsewhere from now on, because this has happened to me the umpteenth time.

Order incomplete, so I paid for something that wasn't delivered. Calling doesn't help because they don't answer. Very poor service.

A regular Mac, nothing special and a high price.

The staff are working hard but are always nice to you. To workers and customers they're always nice and help you with pleasure. The wait is short compared to other fast food places, the food is warm and they never forget sauces or little things like straws or tissues like most places. Recommend!

What you'd expect from a McDonald's. Excellent service. The atmosphere is debatable. The food is fine for fast food. Don't expect anything special. I also used the McDonald's drive-thru. The service was friendly and courteous, but the Dutch language of the staff caused some confusion in communication. However, the staff remained helpful and friendly. In short, a great McDonald's.

McDonald's isn't my favorite anyway, but this could definitely be better. There were only two online ordering kiosks, and the staff didn't do anything about it. Since it was busy, we ordered at the counter, but that was a lot of effort for the young woman behind it. After repeating it several times, the order was finally entered. The food arrived fairly quickly, but this young woman could also be friendlier and bring us food with a smile. The food was the standard McDonald's recipe.

The hamburgers were dripping with grease from the buns, and there was all sorts of grease on top. When I went back to show this burger, a woman with spiky red and black hair told me it was cooking grease! Yeah, duh. But the buns aren't supposed to be dripping with grease. I threw the bun away. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture, otherwise I could have posted it here. I'll be driving to Geldrop from now on. The service there is better too.

Raw fries, didn't get what was ordered, limp...

The young woman at the MC drive-thru, my compliments. She was thoughtful, helped save money, and was extremely friendly and hospitable. That's how people everywhere should be.

The 1950s atmosphere is very cool. It's impressive.

I felt things were going downhill. The soda didn't have ice cubes, the fries were cold, and they were overly salty, even though I'd asked for them. I returned the fries and wrap, but the unfriendly employee was busy and had to wait. They promised to bring the order to the table. After waiting 35 minutes, the employee threw the tray on the table and walked away. I still didn't receive a response or an apology. The fries were cold and salty again. I took the tray and threw it outside and got a sandwich at the gas station. I'll never go back to McDonald's, which treats its customers like this.

The food was nice and hot! It was delivered quickly, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: - You could order quickly via the kiosks, which worked perfectly. - The food seemed freshly made. Cons: - You couldn't choose whether to have your food brought to your table. - The staff behind the counter weren't very friendly either. - The toilets were incredibly dirty, with feces on the seats, and staff coming out of them, so they must have noticed.

Went to Mac with my daughter! Ate for 70zł. Inexpensive and very tasty. Hot potatoes. I got myself a Lipton for 8zł. The glass was mostly water, and then tea. There was little ice, only 3 cubes, although it was hot outside. Overall, my daughter didn't like it, but I was fine.

Eating isn't really food at all. It's like snacking...never enough and not nutritious.

Slow service, and the food was just cold.

Absolutely everything here was filthy—the tables, the chairs, even the plates we had to put on the table. Furthermore, we had to wait 25 minutes for our order yesterday. There was only one person before us. Everyone after us was served first. When we mentioned it, the response we got was that the kitchen monitor had gone out. In total, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for our food, without any compensation whatsoever. Absolutely inhospitable. We went back today, six months later, to be precise. It was still just as disgusting. The food was cold, and the mac and cheese muffins were on the wrong buns. We also had to wait another 25 minutes for our food.

They don't collect orders completely, there weren't enough sauces and cola, this is not the place I would advise you to go. You will have to beg for your order and check the availability of everything indicated when ordering in the terminal.

This has to be the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever been to. You're stuck to the floor everywhere, and there's all sorts of paper, food scraps, and so on. Every table and chair was greasy and filthy.

Friendly and fast service, unfortunately my order was not complete when I got home

We came here with a friend. We only ordered ice cream. We waited for it for more than half an hour. It's terrible.

Het restaurant was ronduit smerig er was geen schone tafel te vinden , ook van de vloer kon je letterlijk eten ! Na zelf een tafel te hebben schoongemaakt , onze bestelling opgegeten en gedronken waar de sinas niet koud was. Al met al dus behoorlijk teleurstellend

Way too busy. Few staff. The computers where you can order were all out of reach. It was so incredibly busy that we left.

3.85 euros for a mcflurry that contains half the amount of 2 years ago, it's outrageous

Food lukewarm atmosphere is not there and service 1 star after I was treated so unfriendly to the customer and that the boy still worked there afterwards very bizarre. Ordered large fries at home you get a small fries because the container is only half full. And this is the umpteenth time. You do get enough fries for that food but when ordering it is always very little

I don't understand why McDonald's didn't take action after all the previous reviews. So incredibly dirty both in the restaurant and in the toilets and outside. Staff uninterested.

Too few staff, so we had to wait a long time for the order and there was no cleaning of tables. Also all the garbage bins were overflowing and you could only put your garbage there instead of throwing it away. Chaos!!!

Joining the queue, which is not a problem, but my food was already on the counter for 10 minutes.. Finally got my food but it was more cold than warm. I did not feel like joining again because I was hungry. Service was friendly but food was less.

Found out at home so I could throw everything away. Yesterday another chance for Helmond. Ordered a big tasty without cheese again. Now that was successful but they also forgot my hamburger. How bad is that. Really worthless

Always extremely long wait time

What a squeaky company .. everywhere mentioned open until 00.00 and then at 10 p.m. no longer allowed to place an order, and have to go through the drive .. how idiot on a bike that is not allowed !!!

Eating something warm quickly and easily

Dear McDonald's, Last Sunday (04-05-2025) I visited the Helmond branch, and unfortunately I can only call it a fantastic McFlop. The disappointment started upon arrival: of the eight ordering columns, only two were working, causing the queue to extend outside. Of course, this could be force majeure, but the long wait was not made more pleasant by the lack of guidance or communication. There was also a long line at the checkout. After finally ordering for five people, we started looking for a place. What we found was downright distasteful: fries and spilled drinks were everywhere on the floor, the tables were dirty and all the trash cans were overflowing. There were also no staff in sight in the dining area. We ended up taking a cloth ourselves to clean a table. While waiting we saw a clearly stressed lady in a white blouse - probably the manager - who stood out for her unfriendly attitude towards both customers and colleagues. This obviously does not contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. When our food was finally ready (and we had to ask if someone could help carry the trays, which unfortunately was not possible), everything turned out to be lukewarm or cold. Because we had a long journey and were still dealing with quite a crowd, we ate it. In summary: this was the worst experience I have ever had at a McDonald's. Everything was lacking in terms of hygiene, waiting time and customer friendliness. I hope you take this feedback seriously and that appropriate action is taken to prevent recurrence.

They pay someone to guard the bathroom door. McDonalds makes so much money as a corporation, the least they can do is make their bathroom available.

Tables weren't clean and it wasn't super busy. So in my experience that is not possible.

Mcdrive sometimes takes a very long time even though it is quiet.

the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to. The outside area is very dirty, the floor is sticky from soft drinks and oil and the playground was closed with the excuse that they had lost the key. It's a good thing it was closed, because it's incredibly dirty. shame.

It says that they are still open, and they arrive almost 45 minutes before the restaurant closes, but the doors are already locked.

The food is kind of delicious. Please change the oil from time to time. Thank you to the management

Its a McDonalds. Ive had good experiences. Ive had bad. There is nothing exceptional or horrible this one does compared to others. Still unhealthy and overpriced, but good junkfood.

Waiting 55 minutes in the drive-in. No one comes to tell you why it's taking so long. They don't know 'fast' food here.

Super Maccie, one of the best. Helped by a boy named Guus, a very friendly boy with a beautiful cheerful smile. I've been to many places, but I always go here for the atmosphere and the feeling of home

Got sick from old chip fat, and the sauce on the burgers could be done a bit more sparingly, there is more sauce with the burger instead of the other way around

After 5 years of eating MCDONALD in Germany I was always disappointed as the food was tasteless, cold and made to be. Today I am in Holland, specifically Helmond and the food here was delicious, fresh and hot. Customer service was nice. Bravo bravo bravo

Dirty. The food was decent. But was not delivered complete. And that despite the four of us ordering for €51. However, it was dirty, the tables were DIRTY, the floor had black caked-on walking tracks. The wooden "net curtains" in front of the windows are completely covered in dirt. And there was an employee who was friendly chatting with other guests the entire time we were there. For us, we will choose another McDonald's restaurant next time. Gr.
