30 euros for a double cheeseburger, have been coming here for over 3 years and have experienced a few stupid things, but they were also fixed well. Now everything is cold, and there are even nails stuck between the cheeseburgers and the bread is very tough. Do you guys think this is normal? What else is being done sneakily? I can still feel a nail stuck in my throat. They walk for more than half an hour there and back, for crying out loud, and they are regular customers! And just take the phone up. Worthless behavior. From 5 stars to a whopping 0 in the moment, and then having to hang up the phone the whole time when calling. They know exactly what they pulled. It's unbelievable how they mess with the food. Shame on you.

Bought 7 double cheeseburgers and there are nails in my food. I'm done with McDonald's.

My wife found a WORM in her burger on the evening of September 1, 2026, around 7:00 PM. She had it in her mouth and spat it out. She reported it at the counter. The manager apologized and offered new food, but of course, no one wanted that anymore. We used to come here every week; now, never again.

We were there with two families, a total of seven people. We placed two orders, and both contained the wrong burgers in the packaging, and each order was missing an item. In addition, the milkshake was the wrong flavor. To make matters worse, our 16-year-old daughter had a stomachache afterward and almost vomited in the car on the way home. In short, it's astonishing that this McDonald's is still in business with the current staffing levels. I rarely write such negative reviews, but I can't sugarcoat this and hope it was an isolated incident. We absolutely do not recommend this restaurant.

It's McDonald's, after all... In the Netherlands, they have burgers that you unfortunately can't find in Germany. These include the Quarter Pounder and the Double Quarter Pounder, as well as the McCrocett, which has a filling almost like Labskaus (a traditional German dish)... so it looks like it's already been eaten. It's quite tasty, though. Otherwise, the burgers are good, and the staff seems more relaxed than in Germany.

They don't speak Dutch. And the manager pretends he can't speak Dutch, until it suddenly suits him and he speaks perfect Dutch. Terrible.

They never have iced coffee at the drive-thru.

Not too busy, finished quickly, no long wait, and a trial toilet is also handy.

It took a long time before we were served in the drive-thru, even though there was no one in front of us. Otherwise, great service. Friendly staff. Ordered breakfast; the egg mcmuffin was tasty. The rest wasn't.

The queue was bizarrely long, but the branch staff couldn't do anything about that either. Despite the crowds and chaos, everything ran flawlessly, and once ordered, it was lightning fast. The food was hot and fresh; I am always very satisfied with this branch.

Redeemed 600 points for a croquette sandwich. They didn't have it in stock and I've lost the points. It's a real shame they don't offer compensation. Warning: Check first before ordering anything via the McDonald's app.

No gluten free options for kids

Lost 70 euros, burgers were like they weren't cooked through, fell apart, lettuce ran away. Fries were cold, not even crisp. No straws for drinks. You call them up and they say everything is shipped fresh, I live 7 minutes away on foot!!! Delivery guy on bike here in 3 minutes and then it's the delivery guy's fault!!!! Last time ordering here, 70 euros down the drain and nothing good, inedible, yuck.

Besides the fact that the service here is very good, there is also a parking lot specifically for buses right next to the McDonald's!

Just another McDonald's. Thankfully, the new interior looks better than the old one. The food and drinks are standard McDonald's quality, and the staff is professionally friendly. Prices are on the high side.

Today we went to get food at the McDrive in Heerlen (Breukerweg). My son opened his Happy Meal box and started screaming because a maggot was crawling inside. We didn't finish eating and called McDonald's, only to hang up on them. We then went back to McDonald's and, after a long back-and-forth hassle and a lack of understanding, finally got our money back. Naturally, they got the bag of food and the maggot back. At first, they wanted to offer us new food, but after seeing the maggot, the answer was pretty much self-evident... We don't want anything from here anymore!!!

Fast food restaurant without the deals, quite expensive burgers, especially the Big Archief which costs around 10 euros, not normal, so expensive

Ordered via the computer and probably entered something wrong, because it was served neatly at our table by a friendly young man. Everything was tasty, just strange that you don't get a small bowl with the fries sauce if you eat it inside.

I've been going to McDonald's restaurants a lot lately, but I've noticed a strange secret in the taste. I think restaurants like this deserve a 100% rating because they're great restaurants with excellent management. And from more than one McDonald's branch, the taste and quality are the same, and I've become a big fan of their delicious hamburgers and fries. ❤️🥰

It's McDonald's, after all. But the food was warm and fresh. The selection of vegetarian burgers was particularly good.

I ate hamburgers and chicken nuggets here, but they were barely cooked. Everything was just half-baked, from the McCroket to the chicken nuggets and the hamburgers. No comparison to Eindhoven or Woensel or the surrounding area. I am never coming here again.

It might be useful to hire at least 1 person who actually speaks Dutch. ( for the McDrive ) After repeating my order 5 times, another employee had to come and take my order because the other one didn't get it or understand it.

Very bad food, unfriendly staff. Shortly after 1:00 AM, a member of the crew was bullied by the manager who was present because the boy being bullied is gay. I find this unacceptable behavior. Managers are bullying the crew, and this is simply unacceptable. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!! Because this is truly unacceptable; this behavior should never be tolerated in the workplace!!

they remodelled since the last time I was there it's nice the fries where fresh and good I saw an employee serving, that actually picked up trash from the floor and when I asked for extra napkins she brought them to the table quickly and very friendly it's been a long time I felt so comfortable in a McDonalds it's the nicest McDonalds I know in the erea 👍 just a shame the still have the sauces in plastic bags 😒

Too bad the advertised burger was sold out. The staff wasn't very friendly, curt with customers, but there was a sense of humor in the back of the kitchen. We won't be back.

My french fries were cold. The burger was just okay. I had to wait in the drive thru line for about 5 minutes before someone came on to take my order. The staff were nice in the drive thru.

What happened here? You can already smell the palm oil frying in the parking lot. The fries taste like it too, such a shame. The interior, with all that pinging sound, reminded me of a hospital. Like a waiting room where your family member is on an IV. Well, that last part is minor, but frying in palm oil is a killer. Goodbye.

The food was excellent and fast. It was also nice that you could still order in Dutch, which unfortunately isn't possible at every McDonald's anymore.

They forgot to add both fries sauces that we ordered!!!!

I wish UK McDonald's had menus as god as these. So much more variety and great flavours. We always buy extra frites sauces to bring home with us!

It was freezing there, not pleasant at all

It's like you're going the extra mile. This is the third time this week I've asked for no fried onions. Every time, it's been a hit. Today, it even looks like you put extra onion on it. There's always a sticker on it that says "NO fried onions," and yet it's still a hit. Maybe you could learn to read it personally, because I can't find any other explanation.

They don't know how to work, they didn't put half the order, there were 8 sauces in the order and they didn't put any, they didn't put 2 cheeseburgers out of 4, it feels like they don't even look at the orders when they're putting them together.

Mcflurry again below the amount required. This is 140 grams with toppings. Should be 155 without toppings.. follow your own rules.

Horrible McDonald's!!! 😡 Orders from the drive-through are NEVER correct. There's always something missing, and if you drive back to complain, you're treated like crap. The food is cold, old, and disgusting. Even one star is too much for this dump. So be smart and NEVER eat here. It's a waste of money!!!!

If you're in drive-through and don't get helped, another car comes, parks on the other side, and gets helped right away. Disgusting service.

For the past two months, I've had to wait 20 minutes EVERY TIME for 3-guilder mini pancakes. I don't come here anymore; figure it out, half a thousand illegals.

When we were here (on a weekday during peak season, around dinnertime), it was nice and quiet. Plenty of seating, and service was quick. Parking was quite limited, though.

It is and remains a McDonald's, so it is also McDonald's quality food, but it was nice and warm, no soggy fries and everything in the order was correct.

I had an extremely bad experience at this drive-through. They have two order kiosks; I was on the right, and suddenly only the left was being served. At the insistence of two cars behind me, I drove through to order at the window, where the manager accused me of wanting a free meal and actually being rear-ended by a car (he said he saw it on the cameras). I sincerely hope the franchisee checks the cameras. I have a blue Chevrolet Spark and went there on Tuesday, August 19th, around 10:20 PM. The manager's accusations and reproaches were truly inappropriate and antisocial, completely unbecoming of McDonald's. You're better off taking a detour to Kerkrade via the Euregioweg.

What a terrible place this has become after the renovation! First, you have to pay close attention to what they're saying; you can't understand most of the staff because of their background. Then you have to wait an incredibly long time for your order to be ready. And then it's ready, you get your order, only to discover you didn't get what you ordered and it's incomplete. The best thing they could do is close this place down.

McDonald's has become a lousy place after its previous owner, Marcel, sold it. The spicy Mc Chicken is barely served with any spicy sauce and is therefore very dry, but they do advertise the spicy sauce extensively. After we pointed this out to the employee, we were told, "This is the new standard." So, for us, the new standard is now the Burger King in Kerkrade.

It all took a very long time. The order was incomplete. It happens, but... no apologies, no urgency to fix it. I even had to inquire again. Where has "service with a smile" gone??? This is how you drive away customers and tarnish the image of the McDonald's franchise.

Don’t even know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. They literally said the veggie burgers are vegan and so I had milk and dairy unwillingly. These people need to be educated about the difference because what if someone is allergic!

What a mess here since the renovation... the call boxes at the driveway are more broken than functional... Should I put up a sign saying "Defective"? I think my expectations are too high for the quality of service at this branch. This is my last visit here... Geleen and Kerkrade, on the other hand, are still fine. For anyone reading this, stay away! It will save you a lot of trouble and headaches.

Food as usual at McD, what was noticeable, toilets were spotlessly clean.

When it comes to food, you know what you're getting, whether you like it or not. It's delicious at times. Service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere isn't exactly inviting, and the air conditioning was set pretty cool.

The staff is incredibly slow and hasn't figured out how to work. It took 22 minutes to get our order. The manager walks around like an interesting, pretty boy. The order was delivered incorrectly. All the tables around us were also complaining about the long wait.

Since the renovation, it's become very static, lacking comfort and atmosphere. The food is fine, but I'd rather go to another MC.

We visited McDonald's Heerlen last night (July 30, 2025) as a family of six, after confirming on Google Maps that the restaurant would be open until 1:00 AM. We arrived around 10:30 PM, and five of us had already placed our orders at the kiosks when the screens suddenly went dark. We approached a staff member, who politely asked us to place our last order at the counter. To our surprise, the manager refused to help us there and insisted that the sixth family member order through the drive-through. This was completely illogical and very inconvenient, especially since five of us had already ordered inside and were eating. The manager refused to make an exception and offered no solution, even though the drive-through was still open. From a leadership and customer-focused perspective, this was disappointing. A manager is supposed to solve problems and create a positive customer experience. In this case, a small compensation could easily have elevated our visit to a five-star level. Instead, we felt unwanted and frustrated. Everything else about the visit (the quality of the food and the friendliness of the other staff) was good, but this one incident completely ruined our evening. I hope McDonald's management takes this feedback seriously, because customers deserve to be treated logically and hospitably. English summary: Very disappointing experience with the manager despite the restaurant being open; a simple solution could have turned this into a 5-star visit, but instead, it ruined the evening.

Since the renovation, there's always something missing. Everything from sauces to fries is always missing. It's very annoying if you only discover this when you get home. Even when you go back to say you're missing something, they look at you strangely. It's a shame.

The restaurant hasn't improved since the renovation. Lots of flies, and the atmosphere isn't very pleasant.

We waited 45 minutes for our food (2 ice creams and a Coke). Then we got it ourselves, otherwise we'd probably still be sitting there.

Service these days is also a matter of finding your way. First, you wait a long time, so you ask. You stand at the counter and don't even get an answer (probably from someone who doesn't speak a word of Dutch), but they simply turn their backs on you. At least say "one moment please." Then someone else comes and bluntly tells you, "They're working on it." Well, I hope so! No, customer service is nowhere to be found at McDonald's these days... shame.

Then you order your normal nuggets, and you realize almost at home that they are spicy nuggets. I go back the next Tuesday to get the horeb, I should have gone back earlier. They could have just given me my order right away. Bad management

Ordered 2 ice creams, got 1.5 ice creams. Eventually some more ice cream was added. Staff particularly uninterested....

Fantastic service at McDonald’s! I just had a great meal at McDonald’s. Something accidentally went wrong with my order, but the staff resolved it quickly and perfectly. They were friendly, helpful and made sure I still got exactly what I ordered. Very happy with this great service and the delicious meal. Thanks McDonald’s team!

Just renovated, everything is fine in my opinion

I ordered food at this MC today. I had to wait 15 minutes until I got to the cash register. Then I had to wait another 10 minutes until I got my food. The food was not tasty and not good at all. I ordered as Spicy but I got the wrong one. Two wrong drinks and they were without ice!! in this hot weather. The fries were inedible. Forgot two fries sauce. 32€ was easy to earn!!! I called them back but no one answers!! It was a really bad experience!
