McDonald's, nothing to complain about.

I found the tables a bit dirty, so I went looking for a cloth to clean them

Great service, very friendly staff, and everything was very clean.

Very chaotic, staff couldn't cope, food wasn't really warm anymore, barely any Dutch speaking staff.

Had to wait 20 minutes and the burgers were cold when they finally arrived.

Nothing to complain about, everything is fine. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff.

The food was excellent and fast. It was also nice that you could still order in Dutch, which unfortunately isn't possible at every McDonald's anymore.

What happened here? You can already smell the palm oil frying in the parking lot. The fries taste like it too, such a shame. The interior, with all that pinging sound, reminded me of a hospital. Like a waiting room where your family member is on an IV. Well, that last part is minor, but frying in palm oil is a killer. Goodbye.

McD? If that's the highlight of your day, I'd choose a different life.

They forgot to add both fries sauces that we ordered!!!!

I wish UK McDonald's had menus as god as these. So much more variety and great flavours. We always buy extra frites sauces to bring home with us!

It was freezing there, not pleasant at all

Just another McDonald's, unfortunately not as inviting after the renovation. The food and drinks are standard McDonald's quality, and the staff is professionally friendly. Prices are a bit steep.

It's like you're going the extra mile. This is the third time this week I've asked for no fried onions. Every time, it's been a hit. Today, it even looks like you put extra onion on it. There's always a sticker on it that says "NO fried onions," and yet it's still a hit. Maybe you could learn to read it personally, because I can't find any other explanation.

Classic McDonald's but with plenty of seating both inside and outside.

They don't know how to work, they didn't put half the order, there were 8 sauces in the order and they didn't put any, they didn't put 2 cheeseburgers out of 4, it feels like they don't even look at the orders when they're putting them together.

Mcflurry again below the amount required. This is 140 grams with toppings. Should be 155 without toppings.. follow your own rules.

Horrible McDonald's!!! 😡 Orders from the drive-through are NEVER correct. There's always something missing, and if you drive back to complain, you're treated like crap. The food is cold, old, and disgusting. Even one star is too much for this dump. So be smart and NEVER eat here. It's a waste of money!!!!

For the past two months, I've had to wait 20 minutes EVERY TIME for 3-guilder mini pancakes. I don't come here anymore; figure it out, half a thousand illegals.

If you're in drive-through and don't get helped, another car comes, parks on the other side, and gets helped right away. Disgusting service.

When we were here (on a weekday during peak season, around dinnertime), it was nice and quiet. Plenty of seating, and service was quick. Parking was quite limited, though.

It is and remains a McDonald's, so it is also McDonald's quality food, but it was nice and warm, no soggy fries and everything in the order was correct.

I had an extremely bad experience at this drive-through. They have two order kiosks; I was on the right, and suddenly only the left was being served. At the insistence of two cars behind me, I drove through to order at the window, where the manager accused me of wanting a free meal and actually being rear-ended by a car (he said he saw it on the cameras). I sincerely hope the franchisee checks the cameras. I have a blue Chevrolet Spark and went there on Tuesday, August 19th, around 10:20 PM. The manager's accusations and reproaches were truly inappropriate and antisocial, completely unbecoming of McDonald's. You're better off taking a detour to Kerkrade via the Euregioweg.

What a terrible place this has become after the renovation! First, you have to pay close attention to what they're saying; you can't understand most of the staff because of their background. Then you have to wait an incredibly long time for your order to be ready. And then it's ready, you get your order, only to discover you didn't get what you ordered and it's incomplete. The best thing they could do is close this place down.

McDonald's has become a lousy place after its previous owner, Marcel, sold it. The spicy Mc Chicken is barely served with any spicy sauce and is therefore very dry, but they do advertise the spicy sauce extensively. After we pointed this out to the employee, we were told, "This is the new standard." So, for us, the new standard is now the Burger King in Kerkrade.

It all took a very long time. The order was incomplete. It happens, but... no apologies, no urgency to fix it. I even had to inquire again. Where has "service with a smile" gone??? This is how you drive away customers and tarnish the image of the McDonald's franchise.

Don’t even know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. They literally said the veggie burgers are vegan and so I had milk and dairy unwillingly. These people need to be educated about the difference because what if someone is allergic!

Great McDonalds, but unfortunately no play area for the kids.

What a mess here since the renovation... the call boxes at the driveway are more broken than functional... Should I put up a sign saying "Defective"? I think my expectations are too high for the quality of service at this branch. This is my last visit here... Geleen and Kerkrade, on the other hand, are still fine. For anyone reading this, stay away! It will save you a lot of trouble and headaches.

Food as usual at McD, what was noticeable, toilets were spotlessly clean.

When it comes to food, you know what you're getting, whether you like it or not. It's delicious at times. Service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere isn't exactly inviting, and the air conditioning was set pretty cool.

Since the renovation, it's become very static, lacking comfort and atmosphere. The food is fine, but I'd rather go to another MC.

The staff is incredibly slow and hasn't figured out how to work. It took 22 minutes to get our order. The manager walks around like an interesting, pretty boy. The order was delivered incorrectly. All the tables around us were also complaining about the long wait.

We visited McDonald's Heerlen last night (July 30, 2025) as a family of six, after confirming on Google Maps that the restaurant would be open until 1:00 AM. We arrived around 10:30 PM, and five of us had already placed our orders at the kiosks when the screens suddenly went dark. We approached a staff member, who politely asked us to place our last order at the counter. To our surprise, the manager refused to help us there and insisted that the sixth family member order through the drive-through. This was completely illogical and very inconvenient, especially since five of us had already ordered inside and were eating. The manager refused to make an exception and offered no solution, even though the drive-through was still open. From a leadership and customer-focused perspective, this was disappointing. A manager is supposed to solve problems and create a positive customer experience. In this case, a small compensation could easily have elevated our visit to a five-star level. Instead, we felt unwanted and frustrated. Everything else about the visit (the quality of the food and the friendliness of the other staff) was good, but this one incident completely ruined our evening. I hope McDonald's management takes this feedback seriously, because customers deserve to be treated logically and hospitably. English summary: Very disappointing experience with the manager despite the restaurant being open; a simple solution could have turned this into a 5-star visit, but instead, it ruined the evening.

I was given the wrong food last night. I thought it was really awful.

Since the renovation, there's always something missing. Everything from sauces to fries is always missing. It's very annoying if you only discover this when you get home. Even when you go back to say you're missing something, they look at you strangely. It's a shame.

The restaurant hasn't improved since the renovation. Lots of flies, and the atmosphere isn't very pleasant.

We waited 45 minutes for our food (2 ice creams and a Coke). Then we got it ourselves, otherwise we'd probably still be sitting there.

Nice cup of coffee. The cookies are unfortunately sold out.

Beautifully renovated. Delicious breakfast. Only the wood and paper aren't great...just impossible.

McDonald's is pretty much the same. For older people, it's often not that special.

Service these days is also a matter of finding your way. First, you wait a long time, so you ask. You stand at the counter and don't even get an answer (probably from someone who doesn't speak a word of Dutch), but they simply turn their backs on you. At least say "one moment please." Then someone else comes and bluntly tells you, "They're working on it." Well, I hope so! No, customer service is nowhere to be found at McDonald's these days... shame.

Then you order your normal nuggets, and you realize almost at home that they are spicy nuggets. I go back the next Tuesday to get the horeb, I should have gone back earlier. They could have just given me my order right away. Bad management

Ordered 2 ice creams, got 1.5 ice creams. Eventually some more ice cream was added. Staff particularly uninterested....

The burger could not be called warm

Fantastic service at McDonald’s! I just had a great meal at McDonald’s. Something accidentally went wrong with my order, but the staff resolved it quickly and perfectly. They were friendly, helpful and made sure I still got exactly what I ordered. Very happy with this great service and the delicious meal. Thanks McDonald’s team!

Just renovated, everything is fine in my opinion

I ordered food at this MC today. I had to wait 15 minutes until I got to the cash register. Then I had to wait another 10 minutes until I got my food. The food was not tasty and not good at all. I ordered as Spicy but I got the wrong one. Two wrong drinks and they were without ice!! in this hot weather. The fries were inedible. Forgot two fries sauce. 32€ was easy to earn!!! I called them back but no one answers!! It was a really bad experience!

Today again mc donalds woonboulevard heerlen. Yes it is open again. But...what a disappointment that is. No more QR code on the tables, it was super easy to order via the app. So we go to the order column. Oh no network, so those discount coupons from the app don't go through. So we order like that. A very long wait is rewarded with cold limp fries, and the big mac, doesn't even seem to have a real hamburger on it anymore. Furthermore, the frappe was already sold out, so we have a strawberry milkshake. However, they forgot the strawberry flavor or something. But something positive has also changed at the maccie in heerlen. The large doors have been replaced by a sliding door :) but we'd rather not go anymore. No longer recommended unfortunately.

Renovated but (too) much has remained the same: nobody seems to have thought that your attitude and atmosphere are less easily “renovated” than an interior. With all the modernization, personal service has been put on a very low burner. Personally, I hate the consoles where you place your orders, but at the cash register they easily make you wait 5 minutes before they let you give your order. Then half of the food was still lukewarm and so I went back: for 27€ I really want fresh and hot fries and burgers. The staff was indifferent and bordering on rude, to each other and the guests. Very annoying and tiring. No desire to come back here again.

This McDonald's has been very slow since the renovation, it seems like no one knows what to do or they just stare blankly into space, management is hard to find, it seems like it's run by a bunch of slow snails, the staff isn't very enthusiastic either, and fun and atmosphere are hard to find, even the little blonde girl who works there, who is supposed to be THE MANAGER, is very unfriendly, you ask for something friendly and you get a big mouth when you have your monthly period, don't approach the customers, that's how everyone just walks away All in all, the McDonald's in Hoensbroek is a mess of things

Even naar de Mac Donalds, blijkt deze op 10 mei, de bezoekdag aan de Breukerweg, gesloten te zijn. En we liepen niet als enige tegen een afgesloten hekwerk op. Niet leuk.

I haven't I received what I ordered and the fries are cold

Buy a nuggets 20 and ask for an extra box to put the sauce in and I don't get a container. I don't care what kind of container, but because the sauce is now in bags, I have nowhere to put it in to dip it and I don't even get an empty container to put the sauce in. Didn't even try to help me find a solution and just said no, very negative experience with the staff that could have easily been avoided.

I came here for a Flint and Meal menu but it was sold out and this is unacceptable.

Today 31-3 waiting again upon arrival at home, order not complete! I should have checked as someone already came back for me with something missing too. Not much help by phone. Hardly anyone there, wait fifteen minutes for the food and then it is brought to you lukewarm by unfriendly staff. I think these McDonald's are really getting worse and worse. Also Dutch speaking staff, let alone friendly staff. Youth sitting there with the music playing loudly and no staff saying anything about it.

It's that the soft ice cream is so tasty, otherwise I would never come there again. The containers for sundaes were gone. No solutions were thought about; Putting the sundae in a McFlurry container or milkshake cup was really not possible. The only option was to order a McFlurry, pay a McFlurry price, but then receive a sundae in a McFlurry cup. Outrageous service, but hey, McDonalds, what do you expect. K company.

Ate a quarter pounder and became seriously ill an hour later. The rest of the family did not, but they had other citizens. I already think it tastes weird. never again!!!!

In my opinion, nothing more needs to be said about the food. The staff is friendly and works quickly. There is always plenty of staff there. The branch was clean and appeared tidy. I can't judge the McDrive because we ate in the restaurant.

Unfortunately the big tasty was lukewarm again (that happens often) The Fish fillet ordered without sauce contained......sauce It is no longer a real pleasure to eat here.

I think McDonald's has become very expensive.

Relatively fast service. Different things on the menu than in Belgium, which is nice.

Food: for a fast food restaurant it tastes fine. A cheeseburger with cheese sauce for the first time 🤤🤤. Hope it stays in the range. Service: very good. The manager was very helpful, thought along with me and suggested even better options for me because, due to medical circumstances, I cannot do everything at the moment. The girl who handed me the food also thought further than I could expect. For example, she immediately put my food back under the heat lamp when there was some delay on my part. Seriously, the employees here are sooooooooooooo much faster, better, more helpful and friendlier than the grumpy staff at Burger King! Atmosphere: it remains a fast food restaurant, but it was neat, the seats are cozy, newspapers are ready to read. It is pleasant there.

The food is according to the normal McDonalds standards. The service is variable. Depends on who is working at that time and how busy it is. Unfortunately, the atmosphere has been gone for many years. The layout of the restaurant used to be much more pleasant

Always check that you have received your full order! Have missed an item now 3 times in the drive through, and 2 times in the restaurant.

Hygiene in the business could be better

A few years ago they forgot the fries sauce (drive). I went and asked her window if she could give me this. She gave me a rude answer and threw the chip sauce at me. I told her that she had to do her job decently. Went back again today this time to eat inside. You come in and immediately dirty looks are thrown at us. Then at the table a friendly lady who brought us our order. But then the food was really cold! Meat was lukewarm, a blob of sauce that you would hate. Fries lukewarm to even edge cold. Some of the food has been thrown away. I got diarrhea from this for a number of hours. Stay away from here! This isn't worth your money. The owner would invest better in decent staff!

Maps show 5 fast chargers, but there was only 1. And it was constantly occupied by the same car.

Bad thing, I think the staff only speaks half Dutch, already the 6th fcking time that something is simply not included, is forgotten, or you get something else that you did not order, and now we had a double cheeseburger without onions ordered due to allergy and it just had onions on it while there is a sticker on it "without onions" you have to check your order every time to check whether you have what you asked for....

Enjoy a nice dinner in the North Pole branch of McDonald's If you've ever wanted to experience what it's like to dine in a freezer, look no further! During my recent visit to McDonald's, I felt like I was unexpectedly participating in an expedition to the North Pole. Upon entering I was warmly greeted by a breeze that had probably come straight from Siberia. The ambiance was… unique. People were eating with their coats, scarves and gloves on, as if it were an exclusive ski resort. I seriously expected a polar bear to walk by at any moment and order a Big Mac too. My fries were cold before I could dip them, and my Coke actually started to freeze in the glass. If I had been allowed to make a campfire at my table, it would certainly have completed the atmosphere. Unfortunately, there were no marshmallows available at the McFlurry counter. In short, a perfect place if you want to prepare for a winter survival trip. But if you're just looking for a hot meal, bring a thermos of soup or consider another location. Rating: 2 stars (only because the staff was thankfully not frozen).

Als je ooit hebt willen ervaren hoe het is om te dineren in een diepvriezer, zoek dan niet verder! Tijdens mijn recente bezoek aan McDonald’s voelde ik me alsof ik onverwachts deelnam aan een expeditie naar de Noordpool. Bij binnenkomst werd ik hartelijk begroet door een briesje dat waarschijnlijk rechtstreeks uit Siberië was overgewaaid. De ambiance was… uniek. Als ik een kampvuur had mogen maken bij mijn tafel, zou dat de sfeer zeker compleet hebben gemaakt. Helaas waren er geen marshmallows beschikbaar bij de McFlurry-balie. Kortom, een perfecte plek als je je wilt voorbereiden op een overlevingstocht in de winter. Maar als je gewoon een warme maaltijd zoekt, neem dan een thermoskan met soep mee of overweeg een andere locatie. Cijfer: 2 sterren (alleen omdat het personeel gelukkig niet bevroren was).

Der Burger war ok - Standard für Mc Donalds. Indiskutabel die Wartezeit von 20 (!) Minuten. Die wartenden Fahrer der Lieferdienste wurden vorrangig bedient - die in der Filiale wartenden Kunden schienen zum Großteil vonnden extrem langen Wartezeiten fûr „Fast“Food genervt…

Fries very salty and hair in my burger The staff can hardly be spoken to because they can no longer speak Dutch while we are in the Netherlands, but they ask stupid questions when you drive back to the drive-in and then to the 2nd window. They say 300 times when you say that you would like a new burger. they will ask you a thousand times, yes who said that, etc. really a bad company, McDonald's used to be better, I think they should close this place, ugh, filthy mess.

There is a big difference between what a hamburger looks like and what you get. No attention is paid to the preparation, everything is minimal.
