What happened here? You can already smell the palm oil frying in the parking lot. The fries taste like it too, such a shame. The interior, with all that pinging sound, reminded me of a hospital. Like a waiting room where your family member is on an IV. Well, that last part is minor, but frying in palm oil is a killer. Goodbye.

I had an extremely bad experience at this drive-through. They have two order kiosks; I was on the right, and suddenly only the left was being served. At the insistence of two cars behind me, I drove through to order at the window, where the manager accused me of wanting a free meal and actually being rear-ended by a car (he said he saw it on the cameras). I sincerely hope the franchisee checks the cameras. I have a blue Chevrolet Spark and went there on Tuesday, August 19th, around 10:20 PM. The manager's accusations and reproaches were truly inappropriate and antisocial, completely unbecoming of McDonald's. You're better off taking a detour to Kerkrade via the Euregioweg.

What a terrible place this has become after the renovation! First, you have to pay close attention to what they're saying; you can't understand most of the staff because of their background. Then you have to wait an incredibly long time for your order to be ready. And then it's ready, you get your order, only to discover you didn't get what you ordered and it's incomplete. The best thing they could do is close this place down.

McDonald's has become a lousy place after its previous owner, Marcel, sold it. The spicy Mc Chicken is barely served with any spicy sauce and is therefore very dry, but they do advertise the spicy sauce extensively. After we pointed this out to the employee, we were told, "This is the new standard." So, for us, the new standard is now the Burger King in Kerkrade.

What a mess here since the renovation... the call boxes at the driveway are more broken than functional... Should I put up a sign saying "Defective"? I think my expectations are too high for the quality of service at this branch. This is my last visit here... Geleen and Kerkrade, on the other hand, are still fine. For anyone reading this, stay away! It will save you a lot of trouble and headaches.

We visited McDonald's Heerlen last night (July 30, 2025) as a family of six, after confirming on Google Maps that the restaurant would be open until 1:00 AM. We arrived around 10:30 PM, and five of us had already placed our orders at the kiosks when the screens suddenly went dark. We approached a staff member, who politely asked us to place our last order at the counter. To our surprise, the manager refused to help us there and insisted that the sixth family member order through the drive-through. This was completely illogical and very inconvenient, especially since five of us had already ordered inside and were eating. The manager refused to make an exception and offered no solution, even though the drive-through was still open. From a leadership and customer-focused perspective, this was disappointing. A manager is supposed to solve problems and create a positive customer experience. In this case, a small compensation could easily have elevated our visit to a five-star level. Instead, we felt unwanted and frustrated. Everything else about the visit (the quality of the food and the friendliness of the other staff) was good, but this one incident completely ruined our evening. I hope McDonald's management takes this feedback seriously, because customers deserve to be treated logically and hospitably. English summary: Very disappointing experience with the manager despite the restaurant being open; a simple solution could have turned this into a 5-star visit, but instead, it ruined the evening.

I ordered food at this MC today. I had to wait 15 minutes until I got to the cash register. Then I had to wait another 10 minutes until I got my food. The food was not tasty and not good at all. I ordered as Spicy but I got the wrong one. Two wrong drinks and they were without ice!! in this hot weather. The fries were inedible. Forgot two fries sauce. 32€ was easy to earn!!! Today again mc donalds woonboulevard heerlen. Yes it is open again. But...what a disappointment that is. No more QR code on the tables, it was super easy to order via the app. So we go to the order column. Oh no network, so those discount coupons from the app don't go through. So we order like that. A very long wait is rewarded with cold limp fries, and the big mac, doesn't even seem to have a real hamburger on it anymore. Furthermore, the frappe was already sold out, so we have a strawberry milkshake. However, they forgot the strawberry flavor or something. But something positive has also changed at the maccie in heerlen. The large doors have been replaced by a sliding door :) but we'd rather not go anymore. No longer recommended unfortunately.

Renovated but (too) much has remained the same: nobody seems to have thought that your attitude and atmosphere are less easily “renovated” than an interior. With all the modernization, personal service has been put on a very low burner. Personally, I hate the consoles where you place your orders, but at the cash register they easily make you wait 5 minutes before they let you give your order. Then half of the food was still lukewarm and so I went back: for 27€ I really want fresh and hot fries and burgers. The staff was indifferent and bordering on rude, to each other and the guests. Very annoying and tiring. No desire to come back here again.

It's that the soft ice cream is so tasty, otherwise I would never come there again. The containers for sundaes were gone. No solutions were thought about; Putting the sundae in a McFlurry container or milkshake cup was really not possible. Food: for a fast food restaurant it tastes fine. A cheeseburger with cheese sauce for the first time 🤤🤤. Hope it stays in the range. Service: very good. The manager was very helpful, thought along with me and suggested even better options for me because, due to medical circumstances, I cannot do everything at the moment. The girl who handed me the food also thought further than I could expect. For example, she immediately put my food back under the heat lamp when there was some delay on my part. Seriously, the employees here are sooooooooooooo much faster, better, more helpful and friendlier than the grumpy staff at Burger King! Atmosphere: it remains a fast food restaurant, but it was neat, the seats are cozy, newspapers are ready to read. It is pleasant there.

A few years ago they forgot the fries sauce (drive). I went and asked her window if she could give me this. She gave me a rude answer and threw the chip sauce at me. I told her that she had to do her job decently. Went back again today this time to eat inside. You come in and immediately dirty looks are thrown at us. Then at the table a friendly lady who brought us our order. But then the food was really cold! Meat was lukewarm, a blob of sauce that you would hate. Fries lukewarm to even edge cold. Some of the food has been thrown away. I got diarrhea from this for a number of hours. Stay away from here! This isn't worth your money. The owner would invest better in decent staff!

Enjoy a nice dinner in the North Pole branch of McDonald's If you've ever wanted to experience what it's like to dine in a freezer, look no further! During my recent visit to McDonald's, I felt like I was unexpectedly participating in an expedition to the North Pole. Upon entering I was warmly greeted by a breeze that had probably come straight from Siberia. The ambiance was… unique. People were eating with their coats, scarves and gloves on, as if it were an exclusive ski resort. I seriously expected a polar bear to walk by at any moment and order a Big Mac too. My fries were cold before I could dip them, and my Coke actually started to freeze in the glass. If I had been allowed to make a campfire at my table, it would certainly have completed the atmosphere. Unfortunately, there were no marshmallows available at the McFlurry counter. In short, a perfect place if you want to prepare for a winter survival trip. But if you're just looking for a hot meal, bring a thermos of soup or consider another location. Als je ooit hebt willen ervaren hoe het is om te dineren in een diepvriezer, zoek dan niet verder! Tijdens mijn recente bezoek aan McDonald’s voelde ik me alsof ik onverwachts deelnam aan een expeditie naar de Noordpool. Bij binnenkomst werd ik hartelijk begroet door een briesje dat waarschijnlijk rechtstreeks uit Siberië was overgewaaid. De ambiance was… uniek. Mensen zaten met hun jassen, sjaals en handschoenen aan te eten, alsof het een exclusief ski-resort was. Ik had serieus verwacht dat er elk moment een ijsbeer langs zou wandelen om ook een Big Mac te bestellen. Mijn frietjes waren koud nog voordat ik ze kon dippen, en mijn cola begon zowaar te bevriezen in het glas. Als ik een kampvuur had mogen maken bij mijn tafel, zou dat de sfeer zeker compleet hebben gemaakt. Helaas waren er geen marshmallows beschikbaar bij de McFlurry-balie. Kortom, een perfecte plek als je je wilt voorbereiden op een overlevingstocht in de winter. Maar als je gewoon een warme maaltijd zoekt, neem dan een thermoskan met soep mee of overweeg een andere locatie. Cijfer: 2 sterren (alleen omdat het personeel gelukkig niet bevroren was).

Der Burger war ok - Standard für Mc Donalds. Indiskutabel die Wartezeit von 20 (!) Minuten. Die wartenden Fahrer der Lieferdienste wurden vorrangig bedient - die in der Filiale wartenden Kunden schienen zum Großteil vonnden extrem langen Wartezeiten fûr „Fast“Food genervt…

Fries very salty and hair in my burger The staff can hardly be spoken to because they can no longer speak Dutch while we are in the Netherlands, but they ask stupid questions when you drive back to the drive-in and then to the 2nd window. They say 300 times when you say that you would like a new burger. they will ask you a thousand times, yes who said that, etc. really a bad company, McDonald's used to be better, I think they should close this place, ugh, filthy mess.
