McDonald's in Wijk 01

Every time I order food, something is wrong. Today I didn't get a wrap and I got open shakes without straws.

Normally, I don't write reviews for McDonald's. All branches offer the same thing and seem too similar to me. Still, I felt it was appropriate in this case. I visited this McDonald's yesterday after a visit to Sprookjeswonderland. We were immediately greeted warmly. My little daughter was practically immediately helped with a face mask by staff walking by. They asked several times if everything was to our liking (something I'm not used to at McDonald's), and my daughter was even offered a free ice cream, something she obviously really wanted. A good ending to a lovely day. I also found the restaurant very neat and clean, which is sometimes different at McDonald's.

Very clean surroundings and the tables are very clean. Personally, I am not a fan of McDonald's and find the fries way too salty.

I was verbally abused by the manager; not good staff; not recommended.

You got half a serving of fries and your food was cold.

Check your burgers carefully before you take a bite, because McDonald's Enkhuizen doesn't care that you have a severe attack. Amateurs.

My wife and I, both wheelchair users, and my 7-year-old daughter came for dinner yesterday evening. I first tried to order via the app, but a promotion for something had to be activated at the ordering kiosk. Subsequently, we couldn't select a table number on our menu. We thought we had made a mistake. Then we went to pick up our order at the counter. The order was split across two trays, causing the employee at the counter to say "good luck" in a sarcastic tone, showing no willingness to be helpful or understanding. He indicated that he couldn't select a table order number, but said they don't do that after 7:00 PM... I tried anyway, and fortunately, one of his colleagues was willing to be helpful as a one-time exception. I thanked her. Apparently, judging by the previous review, a dog can be brought a bowl of water by staff on their own initiative. Perhaps reconsider your service... Good luck with this.

Coincidentally, McDonald's again this weekend. Ordered a Crispy Italian Meatless. When I got home, there was a chicken burger in the bag. Went back; this time, no apology or anything was forthcoming. Apparently, the staff doesn't understand how annoying it is to have to drive back from the neighboring village and only be able to eat when everyone else is already finished. I got home, looked in the bag, Crispy Meatless. AGAIN NOT WHAT I ORDERED. Just ate it. Dear people, if you order here for takeaway, please check the order before you drive off.

Chicken burgers are small (smaller than the bun) and thin. This is compensated for by a whopping amount of sauce. When picking up your order, double-check it carefully, as they're not very good at counting. Especially if you order multiple identical items, there's often something missing!

I'm done with this McDonald's in Enkhuizen. Not the first time, but getting food from the McDrive around 10 p.m. is guaranteed to be cold. It feels like you're getting old food. It's not even lukewarm anymore. It just makes you question the food safety. And no: I didn't drive for 20 minutes afterward to eat it at home—I ate it right there in the parking lot. I won't be going back.

A bit eerie after the renovation... Not really improved. The service is good and fast. The latte and hot apple nuggets were excellent. Excellent. Great parking for a motorcycle within sight. This McDonald's is my regular rest stop when I pass through Enkhuizen on my motorcycle.

It's always fun to go to McDonald's. Even at our age, 68 and 74. Enkhuizen has been renovated and looks great. The atmosphere is relaxed and positive.

I got a meatless Chicken Sensation from here tonight. However, upon returning home after the first bite, it turned out the burger wasn't meatless. The receipt and the burger container did say meatless. I find this incredibly disgraceful. It was very difficult to contact them after discovering this. I called but got voicemail. Hence the review. I bought an incredibly expensive burger that, as a vegetarian, I can't eat. It's disgusting that you give someone who deliberately orders a meatless burger chicken. For the vegetarians among us: always check your burger before driving away!!!!

The service here is terrible. If you order at the table, it doesn't get brought to you. Instead, they shout it throughout the entire store! The staff also talks about hitmen and mothers.

I ordered French fries today and they said they were gluten-free. I can assure you, they're not. I had a severe reaction to the fries; when I took them back to find out, they denied it. Be careful if you have a gluten allergy; it's not safe!

We stopped by to pick something up while traveling. Strawberry and banana milkshake with chicken nuggets. They forgot to add flavor to the milkshakes, and it was very thick. Definitely don't recommend this location.

I just got a nice McFlurry and the topping was nice and generous. Sometimes it's more like ice cream than, say, M&Ms and sauce...but I can't complain.

On a Saturday night you should not be here for a "quick bite" About 125 people in front of you in a line all the way to the street, local youth who are also in line for the mcDrive, and to make matters worse, an incorrect order with downright undercooked fries, and a chewed up burger with no taste left. Like every branch, it is good and well organized, unfortunately the disabled toilet is on the small side, which makes it difficult to close the door with the wheelchair inside.

Well, what can I say, it's ideal for a quick bite. If you order fries and burgers for 3 people at the drive-in and are offered it in a bag within 2 minutes, you already know that you have to eat it straight away, because it is not very warm. I live about 5 minutes from the Mac (by car) but halfway there the fries are already hanging at half past 11. 3 different types of milkshake, but they were all the same, you find out when you get home and then you don't go back. Something is usually forgotten when collecting. It's difficult to check in the car when you take it home. Now, after the umpteenth time yet another incomplete (and cold) order, which was paid for, my husband has gone back. He kindly but clearly stated how annoying it was and that it was a hit every time and that we could now no longer eat together. And that they don't change anything, even though they have a bad name. According to the employee, everything would not be so bad. In other words, my husband would lie??? No excuses, nothing. As residents of Enkhuizen, this is the last time McDonalds Enkhuizen. From now on we will go to Hoorn, where the service is good and friendly and where nothing is ever forgotten.

A tip for McDonald's in general, provide a packaged refreshment towel with each menu , your hands continue to smell and greasy after eating fries and big tasty. Another good thing about McDonald's is that they recycle, so they are sustainable.

The first McDonald's where my order was made perfectly! Everything was exactly as I ordered, which is unfortunately not always the case at other locations. Apparently it is possible to get an order completely correct, or I was just lucky this time. Anyway, it was a lovely experience, and I hope this becomes a standard for future visits!
