Porto Vecchio in Wijk 00

We were there in late September, on a Saturday with many customers in the restaurant. The food is reasonable, but the rest is a disaster. Waiting times of more than an hour are common. There is a shortage of staff in service and in the kitchen. Any sense of oversight seems to be lacking; customers regularly complain about the slow service.

The pizzas were OK, the price was expensive, and the location is so-so.

Service was fine. Cutlery and crockery not entirely clean. Food (pasta) quite greasy. Otherwise, the meal was decent.

A really, really delicious pizzeria. Highly recommended!!! We had four different pizzas and every single one was absolutely delicious! The service was also great.

What a terrible place this is. One of the staff members was watching videos on his phone with a big cigarette in his mouth. Smoke billowed inside. Inside was a soulless establishment with large Heineken fridges and greasy tables.

This restaurant is a peculiar experience. The food was fine, but the staff organization didn't work quite right. Even though it wasn't really busy, orders were frequently returned, and staff were constantly openly grumbling at each other. Partly due to this, waiting times increased enormously and customers left. Unfortunately for the chef, this restaurant is only recommended if you enjoy an evening-long drama.

When we arrived after making a reservation, they had to frantically search the cash register for our reservation (even though the terrace was full but the inside was empty). We were given a table inside. After 20 minutes, we were offered a menu and asked if we wanted to order drinks as well. The drinks arrived after 5 minutes. The pizzas after 6 minutes. All around us, people were getting up because they weren't getting food after 30 or 50 minutes; orders were incorrect, the food was cold, or people weren't being asked what they wanted to order. Meanwhile, the owner was fiercely arguing with his daughters (the 2 waitresses); our pizzas were truly fantastic! It just took a long time before we could order them. We gave up on ordering a second drink after 15 minutes of "one moment please, I'll be with you shortly." The bill also took 10 minutes to arrive and wasn't made until the four of us were standing at the cash register. The food is tasty, the atmosphere is like a soap opera, and they provide an evening-long entertainment program.

A peculiar experience, but a negative one. The website has a luxurious look and raises high expectations. How different it would be... The restaurant is (by the looks of it) run by a somewhat older man and woman and a younger lady (their daughter?). The woman does not speak Dutch, but she does speak English. The younger lady does speak Dutch, but she didn't show up at first. We had made a reservation on a busy day. There were other people waiting (possibly without a reservation), so it took a long time before we could sit down on the terrace. We were given a cheap-looking laminated menu. But after that, we didn't see anyone else. We did hear people saying that it would take a very long time (an hour and a half for a pizza, it was said) and that it was chaos inside. After waiting for over half an hour, we hadn't even been able to order a drink. So we just went to look for another restaurant... Apparently, these people can't handle the crowds...

My pizza tasted okay, too bad the pizza was quite cold.. the wine glasses were not clean.

I don’t know where to start…. Maybe with the food, as this is actually really good but the crew working here…. Don’t get me started….. Really filthy cleaning cloths, no clear communication, keeps talking complete different languages as the customer, one lady takes your order but another men comes back to check (not only with me but others too), this could be a great place food wise but currently….. the second star is purely for the food….. Shame how this place is run…. Hope they turn it around.

The empty terrace wasn't inviting, but for us—a wheelchair and a small dog—it was fine! We had two delicious pizzas for lunch; they tasted just a little different from the standard, with plenty of vegetables. The view of the harbor is nice. The owner was friendly. Simply good; we will definitely go back again.

The pizza was okay. The cannelloni was okay. Paying was a bit strange; the owner wanted everything in cash (€71). We only had €50 in cash with us. We were "allowed" to pay the rest (€21) by card. The food wasn't particularly good.

The waiter wasn't very enthusiastic. Left after 10 minutes.

Amazing Pizzeria! Seriously! You can customize and add anything here for a delicious pizza. Also delicious spaghetti a'iolo; our friends were happy too. Our favorite in Enkhuizen!

Had a great Italian meal here with pasta.

We spontaneously looked for a restaurant for 10 people before our sailing trip. The ambiance is somewhat dated and spartan. The service could be more efficient in selling drinks. However, the pizzas are fantastic. We haven't eaten this well in a long time. The quality of the pizzas, whether prawns or carpaccio, is absolutely top-notch.

The pizza was delicious. But it took a very long time for our order to be taken. We had to wait nearly half an hour for our drinks order to be taken, and then we had to ask them to take our food order immediately. Drinks took more than fifteen minutes. The toilet is nothing to be happy about. These cobwebs hang 20 centimeters thick from the ceiling, and otherwise, it is just plain filthy.

We were there nine years ago, and it was excellent. Today it's a different story. We had lasagna and pizza. The pizza was okay, but the lasagna was bland, tasteless, and lacking in seasoning. It tasted like pasta with tomato purée. The beer was flat, warm, and without carbonation. The restrooms were dirty. There was no decor whatsoever, and the menu was just a laminated sheet of paper. All in all, the place feels neglected and run-down. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend it.

We ate here as a couple on a weekday evening. Pleasantly surprised. Nice host, very courteous chef who enjoyed thinking along about how to accommodate dietary requirements. Delicious Calzones that also looked beautiful. Highly recommended.

Waited nearly 2 hours in an almost empty restaurant for 5 (very mediocre) pizzas, with only a few weak excuses from the barely understandable waitstaff. If the children hadn't been so keen on their pizza, we would have stormed off long ago. Never again!

The bottoms of the pizzas were all burnt, lacked flavor, and far too much arugula was carelessly thrown on top. Even though we were practically the only ones there, the wait staff only came by once for drinks.

That afternoon, I tried to make an online reservation. We arrived at 7:00 PM and the restaurant was simply closed. There was no information anywhere about why or anything. Very strange.

Apparently, this is a restaurant, though everything suggests convenience trumps quality. The pasta arrived warm from the microwave—convenient, but not exactly culinary. The bruschetta was served with stale, soggy bread. A surprising interpretation, probably the house style. The staff radiated the same enthusiasm as a wet dishcloth. Hospitality seems optional here. Bonus points for the interior: you can look directly into the toilet, unlocked, of course. Privacy is, after all, highly overrated. In short: an experience best avoided.

We happened to pass by here on our way back from the Zuiderzee Museum, so four of us had dinner. We had pizza and gluten-free pasta (pizza isn't gluten-free, but all pastas are). The food was truly fantastic, very tasty and beautifully presented. The service was also impeccable, and we had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful meal here! We arrived late (8:30 PM) so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The pizzas and pasta were delicious, the prices were good, and the service was friendly. I would definitely eat there again!

Mediocre Italian restaurant on Havenweg in Enkhuizen. The restaurant itself is quite cozy, though the counter is a bit cluttered. Our table wasn't entirely clean (there were crumbs on both the table and the bench). The waiter spoke broken Dutch, but was friendly. Our carpaccio starter was okay (but not outstanding). Both the pizza (burnt bottom) and spaghetti carbonara (seemed unfresh and reheated in the oven) were disappointing. Not recommended.

In my case, my pizza was fantastic! This one (Quattro Formagi) is among the top 5 pizzas I've ever eaten.

We had a fantastic meal! Pasta, pizza, and tiramisu for dessert. A warm welcome! Chef Mario is highly recommended.

Unfortunately, we can't comment on the food! We had reserved a table and arrived on time! There were nine guests in the restaurant, all of whom already had their food on their tables! A man told us to take the table near the restroom! Because of the strong smell, we sat at another table in the almost empty restaurant! Nothing happened for 10 minutes! Our table neighbors wanted to order drinks, but the waiter ignored them! Then a single guest came in and within a minute he was given the menu and the drink he had ordered! We sat at the table for another five minutes without the waiter making any attempt to bring us the menu or even take our drink order! Then we decided to leave, but this too was accepted without any comment! We often go out to eat, but I have never experienced such treatment from guests! Even if the food was good, I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant due to its non-existent service, the dining room smelling strongly of restrooms, and the general condition (apparently, the office was placed on a dining table).

Porto Vecchio is open again, delicious food, the pizza is to die for! Just like always!!!!

Delicious pizzas with friendly service

Incredibly friendly and helpful, despite the enormous crowds and staff shortages due to illness. Delicious pasta carbonara, with penne if requested, which was no problem. They also had a delicious pizza, which they ordered and received in a smaller size if requested.

Was very tasty pizza (Diavola) and reasonably priced

Unfortunately, this restaurant has deteriorated dramatically since the takeover. It started with the extremely dirty toilets, then it took a while for us to get a drink. It was busy, so that can happen. But we arrived at 6:30 and the food arrived after 9:00. After a long wait, we asked when our food would arrive, but there was nothing in the computer. She then came to check again. You expect the food to be served as priority, but then it took almost another hour for the food to arrive. No apologies or anything during that time, and the staff were nowhere to be seen. After all that time, you're hoping for something tasty, but what we received was the worst pizza I've ever had. Too bad, a real disappointment! We loved this restaurant and enjoyed going there. But with this poor food and poor service, we won't be back.

I already had my doubts when I made the reservation. The phone was answered with little enthusiasm, and we were welcomed into the restaurant with just as little enthusiasm. After 20 minutes of still no service, we decided to leave. While we waited, another table was helped with drinks, and the waitress/hostess left the kitchen crying and headed for the restroom. And then the old man showed up with two pizzas that had been in the oven for a bit too long (unless black crusts are their specialty). Something's definitely not quite right at this restaurant. Definitely not recommended at this time.

First we were waiting to order drinks and at least to get the menu cards, then we were waiting for our drinks and to order food, then we were waiting for our food for like an hour. The girl who was the waitress was alone for like 30 tables and I think there were supposed to be at least 3 waiters for this amount of people. Oh yes, many spiders and webs, disgusting, I don’t want to imagine what happens in the kitchen

Not exactly atmospheric, the service is mediocre, and the food is awful. It's truly disgusting. No food! Renato's is better. But really, everything is better. Don't do this to yourself. Don't make the same mistake I did. A frozen pizza is great!

The service is abysmally bad, and we had to wait what felt like an hour and a half for the food. The food itself is quite good, but I've never seen such a bland salad as the one here. The lamps are full of cobwebs and dead insects.

After our order we waited an hour and a half for our dish, after asking twice and standing at the cash register to leave it was suddenly ready, while people who came in later were helped sooner they said sorry I can't do anything about it, I'm here today alone to help the dead flies were on the windowsill and the cobwebs hung in front of the windows.

Very good pizza, delicious pasta. We were in the group of 7 people and everybody was happy about the order. The prices also good. Could be a bit cleaner inside. Really worth to visit and eat :)

The menu box outside is full of dead spiders and webs...the food will taste just like that 🤮 But!!! The next day, everything was clean and tidy! Now, make everything outside new and fresh...more advertising...and an attractive, imaginative menu with references to, for example, homemade pasta or ingredients, etc.

As a regular pizza eater, i must say that this resturant is understated. The tomatoe soup was home made and very tasty, the Calzone was one of the best ever fresh ingredients-terrific. Atmosphere needs a bit of work, very cafe like and probably puts people off. On my list to visit again......soon

Met 11 man pizza besteld en unaniem besloten dat dit hele wel matige pizza's waren. Slecht doorbakken beleg en bodem en de ingrediënten nul verdeeld.

Het zag er op het eerste gezicht wat basic uit maar de feitelijke beleving overtrof onze verwachting! De pizza’s en de tira misu waren lekker en de prijs kwaliteit was goed. Uiteindelijk was het goed en voelde het goed!

Essen war ganz gut, aber nicht perfekt, deshalb 4 Sterne. Essen war sehr schnell da, aber das Messer war komisch, deshalb nur 4 Sterne. Die Glasscheibe draußen neben der wir saßen war kaputt, deshalb dafür 3 Sterne. Das Restaurant ist dennoch sehr zu empfehlen.

We went here rather spontaneously and noted the mixed reviews. Service is not the most friendly and attentive ever, but food actually quite good. We had spaghetti carbonara, penne pollo and linguine with shrimp and were quite pleased. This was actually good food! The terrace is rather simple but right at the waterfront and we really enjoyed the ambience also.

Eten is zeer goed, maar het roken op het terras is ronduit smerig, vanavond zaten mijn echtgenote en ik daar te dineren,de ruimte tussen de tafeltjes is erg klein.

Food was very good and the workers were very nice

Only the location alongside the harbour makes this restaurant worthwhile visiting while the food is only average and the manager (slow service) pretends to be Italian to blend in but in reality is not. Expensive (about 25-35 euros per person for a pizza and a couple of drinks, so more than Paris, but then in Enkhuizen eating out is not very good value for money, but the beautiful scenery and history makes the town well worth visiting.

Wat een fijne pizzeria! Heerlijk gegeten. Echt bijzonder smaakvol! Gaan we zeker vaker doen.

Pizzaria italiana em todos os sentidos, desde o atendimento até no sabor das pizzas e vinhos. As pizzas foram uma das melhores que já degustamos fora da Itália. Porém, tenha muita paciência entre fazer o pedido e receber os pratos pois o tempo de espera pode levar entre 45 minutos a uma hora. Mas valeu a pena.

Netter Italiener in Enkhuizen am Hafen. Wir haben uns für die Pizza Carpaccio entschieden, obwohl auch einige Nudelgerichte, Salate und Risotto angeboten werden. Die Pizza hat uns gut geschmeckt. Weniger gut fanden wir, dass es keine Getränkekarte gibt. Wir haben allerdings keine böse Überraschung erlebt. (05/23)
