The staff here do very little. Just standing at the counter or being silly on the phone. I felt the urge to start serving myself. Next time I’ll help out. I work at the busiest McDonald’s in Amsterdam myself, and there we have 3 people working in the kitchen and at all stations. What I saw here really surprised me. I’m shocked by it myself. Things could definitely be better here.

Lately, almost every order goes wrong. Especially via the drive-thru, my order is incomplete for the umpteenth time, which costs me extra time every time because I have to drive back or go inside. Additionally, the food is often lukewarm by the time I receive it. For a chain like McDonald’s, you expect this to simply be in order. Very disappointing.

It doesn't matter what time you go there, at this McDonald's they don't know what cleaning is; this one is truly the dirtiest of them all!

The staff is generally friendly and tries to keep things running smoothly, even when it is very busy. Menu items such as the Mc Kroket, McFlurry, fries, ice cream, and Chili Chicken are popular here and are served quickly 🍟🍦 The restroom is available and convenient for a quick stop while shopping or on the go. It is a shame for some that you cannot get beer here 🍺, but that naturally fits the concept of the Mac. The location is ideally situated near large stores such as IKEA and MediaMarkt, making it often part of a larger shopping stop. A busy but efficient fast food spot where convenience, speed, and familiar flavors take center stage 👍

Very bad... a simple order yesterday. 2 hamburgers without pickles and a large milkshake... there were literally more employees busy. Than there were visitors at that moment? Waited 20 minutes for a quick, simple order and what did I get? Hamburgers without cheese but with pickles. With a milkshake cap that didn't fit. I eat while cycling. You can guess what went wrong then. And this costs 8 euros? A soggy hamburger without cheese with pickles for 20 minutes? Very annoying and certainly nothing to say about this!

You will notice that when it is busy, it sometimes happens that you don't have everything with your order immediately. Therefore, always check your order in the drive-thru before you leave. And make sure your food is at the right temperature. But if this is the case, it will be handled properly.

I am writing this review for the new manager at this branch, who was working on April 19, 2026, around 9:00 PM. This woman claims that honey does not belong with a latte or coffee, that it is absolutely forbidden, and that it should only be served with mint tea. She says that she knows all the rules well and that her other colleagues, who have been doing this for me for six years, simply add honey without any discussion. The woman told me that I was just lucky and that I wouldn't get it next time, and then she slammed the window shut in my face. That does not seem like the service that should be provided. Furthermore, she really needs to educate herself better.

4 Euros for a small bag of mini fries. 4-star prices.

Bad, lukewarm fries, much more sauce on the paper than on the bun. Dirty floor, dirty tables. A lot of trash on the floor.

It didn't look clean. Tables dirty, toilets dirty. There was even someone changing her baby on the couch at a table and threw her dirty diaper in one of the trash cans, even though you can change a baby perfectly well in the toilet. Do people have no decency at all anymore?

A standard MD. It was very crowded, but the preparation time was good.

Just quickly grabbed a croquette sandwich to go. After 3 bites, I realized it tasted like mold, so I threw it away when I got home. I didn't see any mold, but I could taste it. Filed a complaint. Because I have no proof, nothing is being done about it. So I guess I won't be going here anymore! And anyone else who has this problem, keep your sandwich as proof so they can taste it for themselves 😜

3 stars is too many. I'm telling you, people, never eat at McDonald's in Hengelo again. Go to Holten. I ordered two menus and wanted to be served by a human, so not at the McDonald's Drive-Thru. I waited 15 minutes and no one came, so I went to the McDonald's Drive-Thru and had to wait 5 minutes. So, I'll never go there again. The food was very cold, and I received one menu, which was too small.

It's an exaggeration to say that polar bears would be perfectly happy here, but it's icy cold. You heard that from everyone inside. This wasn't just the day I was there, by the way, but it's been like this for a while. Friends and colleagues have been complaining for a long time about the cold. The employee who brought the food was, to put it mildly, unmotivated. McDonald's has been passé for a while now. High prices, low quality!

Great cappuccino. The location is nice and central, a good drive. Enjoy a delicious meal in the parking lot with a view of the A1 highway. A bit of shopping before or afterward, and you'll have a fantastic day.

The tray was practically thrown on the table. No problem, anyone can have a bad day! The cup the ice cream was in was warm, and the ice cream had already melted halfway. The ice cream was generously filled with chocolate, and the flavor was excellent. The atmosphere was good because we ran into some familiar faces.

The food we received was cold. We had two "big tasty menus" and a "happy meal." The staff who brought it immediately left, and I had to go to the counter myself to ask for straws. When my daughter was playing in the playground equipment, there was a condom lying there. I find this absolutely disgusting.

Had dinner with family tonight after a trip to Scandinavia. The food quality was fine, as were all the other locations. I rated the service as insufficient due, in my opinion, to the non-customer-focused behavior of the manager on duty at this branch. My five-year-old son really wanted a Happy Meal, especially for the toy. He has celiac disease, and we could only order a gluten-free hamburger from the hamburger options, which can't be linked to a specific menu like a Happy Meal. When we asked for a toy, we had to pay for it separately, even though we had a total voucher for €64. We did pay for it, but it's strange that such a toy wasn't included.

First, they were curt at the post office, and then at the checkout, the window opened, and the card was immediately thrust into your face. And after that, they only mentioned the amount. It took ages in the drive-through to get a McFlurry. It had almost turned into a milkshake, or rather, melted.

Apparently, only the tables are cleaned. We wanted breakfast, but everything was "sold out." How could we? A small Fristy: €3.30!! Really disgusting, my sister and I ordered the exact same thing at the same time, and my sister got it after 5 minutes and me after 30. After 10 minutes we asked where my order was, and then they said it was ready, but it was just there. I still didn't get it. After 20 minutes I got the chicken nuggets cold, fries cold, everything was cold, filthy inside, everything dirty everywhere, toilet smelled of poop, unbelievable. My sister puked from the disgusting food and had to clean it up herself and didn't get any money or anything back, unbelievable. Also, really not a nice atmosphere, everyone just looks at you. I thought my order was finally ready because she kept coming with something exactly the same as I ordered, but no, she was just joking with me, she thought it was very funny, I didn't think so, but oh well, the staff just does nothing all day, literally nothing. There was only 1 hard worker, the rest are nothing. I don't know if I'll come back.

After a bike ride, I enjoyed a McFlurry. It went down well. August 11, 2025, the price is going up. I paid €8.40 for two soft ice creams. It tasted good.

It's a McDonald's... we had table service, but they forgot our drinks and we got a cheeseburger instead of a hamburger... that can happen, but it was also cold. There was a hair in the milkshake (it happens, I removed it myself, but it was clearly visible and the staff should have noticed), the McFlurries were runny, it wasn't exactly clean inside, the restrooms were absolutely filthy, and the staff seemed disinterested. The food is good, at least if your order is correct. Several times I received an incomplete order and had to drive back. When I called, I received my missing burger but no compensation whatsoever.

Bizarre! The dirtiest McDonald's we've ever been to. Food is everywhere, on the floor, on tables, even in the restroom. There was a puddle full of—well, what was it?—shit in the middle of the aisle. They just put a sign saying "slippery"—no need to mop it up or anything. Dirty restrooms, no toilet paper, and the entire floor is wet and filthy. Staff just wanders around trying to give the impression they're doing something. The order wasn't complete either. We'll never be back.

I ordered two McFlurries: one crackling with chocolate sauce, the other Oreo with chocolate sauce. We received two cracklings: one with chocolate sauce and the other with caramel. The arrangements here are poor, and they were already completely melted. The staff is terrible.

We were at the McDonald's drive-through in the evening, and someone said, "Can you hold on a moment?" Then someone else drove up, and the McDonald's driver went to help her instead of us. We thought this was quite odd, so we waited a few minutes and then drove right on!

Had coffee on Sunday morning at 9:30. The toilets were extremely dirty!! Definitely not cleaned for a long time. Bulging sanitary towels and from the trash can, splashes and skid marks in both toilets. Washbasin dirty and mirror full of stains. Really not possible!

Got ice cream and hamburger ice cream was almost drinkable and hamburger was not even 40 degrees in temperature. I think the minimum is 60 and meat never reached that!

This was below standard for MacDonalds. We had to wait a long time for a small order of fries and nuggets. The staff were more concerned with being loud & obnoxious with their friends than having any contact with their customers. On top of this, once back in the car, we noticed our order was incomplete.

If you go through the drive and have to wait, 9 out of 10 times it goes wrong. Now also missing burgers. So waiting, while we already have the fries. And in addition they try to get rid of the toys from the previous happy meal promotion, instead of the current promotion. Too bad, because my kids especially wanted the squishmellows. So I could also walk back for that. Fine if they ask about it, but just throwing it in without a choice is of course hopeless. The McDonalds here is very expensive, and at the same time very cheap. Unfortunately, this has been the case for at least a year or two. There is food and junk everywhere on the floor, including in the aisles between the tables. Tables and seats are very dirty and wet. Ordered via home delivery on Friday evening at 2100, it was stated that the order would be there within half an hour. After the order was placed, an estimated time of shock was given not an hour and a half. Once the order was delivered, everything turned out to be barely warm and the BigTasty that was ordered without tomato was actually made with tomato. It was yet another disappointing experience.
