The dirtiest McDonald’s we have ever seen. You stuck to the floor, the tables on the terrace were covered in old food scraps, the ordering screens were filthy, and the staff wasn't very inspired either.

Worst, disgusting Pommes Frites ive ever had to eat. Soft, wet, not salted and cold. And that insolence costed us 4 euros. We payed 50 euros for a few Chicken Burgers, fries and water in paper buckets. Giant waste of money just to ruin your intestines. Never again

I ordered a spicy veggie chicken menu. I wanted a cola with it. I asked if it was spicy veggie chicken with cola and if it was supposed to be a woman, and yes, but it came with a milkshake and it was a normal veggie chicken.

There are three people in the room. The wait for your order is more than 10 minutes.

Got an iced coffee at McDonald's. Normally no problems, but today they thought the ice cream machine was broken because I have no idea what was in my cup. Also, waited 14 minutes in the drive-thru for 1 iced coffee. Great job.

The floor and toilets are very dirty.

Ordered a hamburger, half the ingredients were missing and the burger wasn't even browned. As for the restaurant itself, it was very dirty, had no atmosphere, and was in need of maintenance; the toilets were incredibly filthy. I'd say they have work to do.

I had two burgers; the first one was already a bit lukewarm but still okay. The second one had really cooled down too much. I mentioned it and received a new one without further ado and with an apology. Friendly people.

Today I was very impressed, respect to the staff for their service, I ordered a Big Mac set, it was very tasty and the price was reasonable, I would like to thank all the staff, I hope I can expect such service at other McDonald's!!!

Weird staff, ladies walking around with wounds all over their arms and weird emos. Very inappropriate, I don't feel safe eating at this place. The only plus point is that the food tastes fine, unless a weird creature brings you your food.

The restaurant was dirty (tables, floor), all the trash cans were full, and the staff were mostly busy with each other in the kitchen and not concerned with keeping the areas used by the guests tidy.

Yesterday, we stopped by briefly on our way from Germany. The first thing that struck me was that it is very cold inside, colder than outside with an outside temperature of 18-19 degrees. No table numbers were available; we grabbed a folded piece of used paper with numbers from a table and entered it (the order cannot be completed without entering a number). The men's toilet was more than filthy; I cannot imagine that it was cleaned the same day prior to our evening visit. There was a lot of staff in the kitchen, yet all the trash cans, both inside and on the grounds, were completely full. Tables in the restaurant were free of food scraps, but you could ski on the floor due to the thin layer of grease; under the tables, the grease was spread thickly on the floor. I have never seen it this bad at any other location. We put our full tray on a trash can because it didn't fit anywhere, and as we left the premises, we wondered why we hadn't seen any rats running around anywhere; what a huge mess. Sorry, I normally only post good reviews, but dear people....... Surely this can't be happening anymore in 2026 with all the hygiene regulations 🙈🙈 2 stars because the food arrived on time and the staff wasn't unfriendly.

Very messy, dirty toilets, waited way too long for just two cappuccinos that were poorly made to boot. And you can't charge your car there. Never coming here again.

Looks uninviting/crabby. Play area closed. Number plates are out of stock at the self-order area. Had to wait 10 minutes for a few ice creams while there was hardly anyone there!! Clean/tidy though. They made a mistake with a sauce on one of the ice creams but we got it extra (for free).

I have rarely seen such a filthy McDonald's restaurant. There was no soap in the restroom, the patio was completely littered with cigarette butts, napkins, and used disposable cups, and all the benches and tables were dirty and wet. Not a nice place ☹️

Tried it again for a change. Big Mac menu with drive-thru. There was only one burger in it... it's rare that you get the right order. Check the bag before you drive off.

Always a nice stop at McDonald’s Hengelo Zuid 🍔 The location is conveniently close to the highway, making it an ideal spot for a quick bite to eat on the go or during an evening drive. Orders are usually prepared quickly and the selection is nicely extensive, ranging from a Big Tasty and McKroket to Chili Chicken and a tasty ice cream or McFlurry 🍦 The drive-in also works smoothly, so you’ll be back on the road quickly. The place is usually well-maintained and the trash cans are kept tidy, creating a clean appearance. Stopping by the Mac for some food on the way and perhaps adding a cold Grolsch beer 🍺 later on makes it complete 😄 An accessible fast food location where convenience, speed, and familiar flavors take center stage 👍

The McDonald's drive-thru really takes so incredibly long. And this isn't the first time.

Hot fries and friendly staff. We rarely go there, but this time we were there, everything was well organized.

By far the worst McDonald's. After having a wrong order 7 times and finally calling, they offered to make my order again, free of charge... and guess what? Wrong again. It's a mess inside too, and the staff are messing around with each other instead of working.

The iced coffee here is good, but it's just sold out too often.

The food was fine, but they did forget some things we had ordered. We did receive them after asking, but it was sloppy. It was really quiet. The children enjoyed it. The floor and tables could really use a clean. And it was really cold inside, which wasn't pleasant.

Cold Quarter Pounder and hot fries... I don't recommend it! The onion in the sandwich looked like it had been cut with a spoon...

I ordered a McSmart menu with a fizz sprite. Disgusting, I had all these black pieces in my sprite🤢. And I didn't get any fizz in my sprite at all, it was just a normal sprite even though I hadn't ordered one. Hope this doesn't happen again!

It was quiet when we were there (fortunately after a long drive from Germany). The food was at the right temperature and brought quickly after ordering.

A pretty decent McDonald's in Hengelo, just outside the city. Easily accessible by car. Plenty of parking, a terrace, and some indoor seating. It was also clean and tidy. After a short wait, we had our breakfast. Everything was freshly prepared and hot. Would gladly come again :)

Terrible. How did you even think of putting flame-flamed nuggets in a Happy Meal? It was probably the heat from the cold cappuccino. It's not surprising that not everything went smoothly, as the croissants lacked butter.

The screen has been showing the order is ready for 10 minutes, but nothing comes. When you ask, it turns out they just push it through, saving them time, but they haven't touched your order (coffee and one cheeseburger). Finally, they start making it, and the cheeseburger turns out to be almost cold. And all this while there are hardly any customers and at least 10 people milling around. A little cleaning wouldn't hurt either. I almost slipped on the greasy floor... What a mess!

Mac... like all Macs... Sometimes you forget about the stomach ache you get after eating Mac stuff and end up there anyway... Plus point? The staff is usually friendly.

I like the spicy chicken nuggets much better than the normal chicken nuggets and I also like the fries.

The burguer was good tasty full of sauce, and just warm and made. But the room quiet dirty and was not busy so did have staff enough to clean, bathrooms quiet clean but no soap to wash hands.

What a filthy McDonald's! None of the staff cleans up, and not even a wipe is wiped down the table. Everyone just walks past.

Forgot to pass the coffee to the customer. The customer had to ask for it.

After waiting 25 minutes for a McDonald's, I saw several others leave. Mistakes happen, but once I got to the car, I had a double cheeseburger with no sauce, and the croquette was covered in sauce. (Not a big deal with a McDonald's.) Having worked at McDonald's for 10 years, this is a shame to see, but not insurmountable. I'll try again soon 😉😂

I usually don’t leave reviews, but my last visit to McDonald’s was really disappointing. When I placed my order at the self-service machine, the receipt didn’t print out, which already caused some confusion. We told a staff member right away, but nothing was done to fix it. Then we had to wait around 30 minutes for our food, even though there weren’t that many people in the restaurant. When we finally got our order, the burgers looked terrible — everything was messy and falling apart (you can see it in the photo). Honestly, it felt like no care was put into preparing the food at all. Really hope the service and quality improve, because this experience was far from what you’d expect from McDonald’s.

20 minute wait for a small soft drink and latte macchiato at 7pm

Today they brought me a burger with a hair in it, and they didn't notice until I removed the hair. They put the burger back, but it's a very unpleasant situation that ruined my appetite and the overall experience.

It's really dirty in here. The floor is like a slide. The tables and benches are filthy. In short, everything is filthy. The fries are soggy. No seasoning on the burgers. The burgers are quite greasy. I've never experienced such a bad McDonald's.

I was here for breakfast at exactly 9am, just a quick visit to the toilet which was filthy, just disgusting. The restaurant itself wasn't clean either and that was already at opening time.

The food was lukewarm. The peach milkshake had no flavor. There was a lot of chatting and laughing behind the counter. Receipts were scattered all over the floor. Last time, napkins were strewn all over the floor under the tables. Trash cans were overflowing outside. Not going back.

It's very inconvenient that a McDonald's offers breakfast and coffee from 9:00 AM. Especially if you're driving past at 8:00 AM.

The dining area was quite dirty.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. Everything was dirty. The staff didn't look fresh. The barrel inside was full of junk. Tables covered in rubbish. The floor was too filthy to even walk on. The chairs were uncomfortable. Was there anything good? No. Is that a problem? Yes, it is, because you're paying a lot.

No atmosphere, food is fine and the staff radiates as if they don't want to be there.

Ordered at the kiosk and was required to enter a table number, which wasn't available. No receipt was issued either. The tables were very dirty and the trash can was already overflowing. On the way to a funeral in Usselo I stopped for a McKroket.

Music in the tent was still on disco cleaning mode at 11.45am...... Toilets were dirty and the volume of the disco music was even louder there...... All in all a bad choice to stop!!! A good manager at this establishment would do the name McDonalds justice! The fries could have more salt in terms of taste

The slowest McDonalds ever! Come first, get served last. The staff isn't friendly and walk around dragging their feet. Takes 30 minutes to get two ice creams and the restaurant is not busy. Last week it went through the mcdrive for two cappuccinos and two mc muffins, also quiete and had to wait approx 30 minutes.

Was on a Saturday night, it was horrible! No adult staff present and everything was filthy! Trash bins overflowing, also all sorts of things were next to and on! All tables were really dirty! Never again for us!

Very bad Mac. Staff just laughs and chats. The number plates were gone so we had to order at the counter. Staff didn't even see us. There was hardly anyone there (logical if you read all the other reviews). There was rubbish everywhere on the floor, even when you walked out of the Mac. There are all young people working there who clearly need guidance, where is the manager?!. They have plenty of time to clean up.

De slechtste Mac die wij ooit bezocht hebben. De bordjes met nummers waren op waardoor je bij de balie moest bestellen. Het personeel was eerst druk met lachen, en praten voordat ze ons zagen staan. Het restaurant zelf was zo goed als leeg (logisch) overal was het een grote bende met rotzooi op de grond, en buiten het gebouw net zo. Personeel heeft tijd zat om opteruimen. Waar is de manager ?!. Teveel jongeren bij elkaar die duidelijk aangestuurd moeten worden. Dit kan echt niet. Zo te lezen zijn wij niet de enige met deze ervaring.

Order was brought to the table. 2 menus with BicMac and Quarter Pounder without cheese and some nuggets. BicMac was not included, fries were limp and still just warm. Back to the counter, got a BigMac. No problem. When my girlfriend wanted to start her Quarter Pounder, it turned out there was cheese on it, despite the extra sticker on the packaging stating: without cheese. Big mistake, you'd be allergic to it. Back to the counter again, a new one would be and was eventually brought. The fries had become cold in the meantime, the comment about that was taken note of. All in all a bad experience, especially for the prices they charge these days.

Well really. You can at least expect that you get the food fresh. Unfortunately, I only noticed it when I got home. Such a shame and actually just scandalous. I really think that every customer would rather wait a little longer than just get food that has been sitting there for too long. Even my son asked if the chicken nuggets were old.
