McDonald's Hengelo Zuid in Wijk 06 Wilderinkshoek

The screen has been showing the order is ready for 10 minutes, but nothing comes. When you ask, it turns out they just push it through, saving them time, but they haven't touched your order (coffee and one cheeseburger). Finally, they start making it, and the cheeseburger turns out to be almost cold. And all this while there are hardly any customers and at least 10 people milling around. A little cleaning wouldn't hurt either. I almost slipped on the greasy floor... What a mess!

Terrible. How did you even think of putting flame-flamed nuggets in a Happy Meal? It was probably the heat from the cold cappuccino. It's not surprising that not everything went smoothly, as the croissants lacked butter.

Mac... like all Macs... Sometimes you forget about the stomach ache you get after eating Mac stuff and end up there anyway... Plus point? The staff is usually friendly.

Crappy place, multiple times cold food and also a really long wait.

I like the spicy chicken nuggets much better than the normal chicken nuggets and I also like the fries.

The burguer was good tasty full of sauce, and just warm and made. But the room quiet dirty and was not busy so did have staff enough to clean, bathrooms quiet clean but no soap to wash hands.

What a filthy McDonald's! None of the staff cleans up, and not even a wipe is wiped down the table. Everyone just walks past.

Forgot to pass the coffee to the customer. The customer had to ask for it.

Slow service, the kitchen never seems to have enough staff. They always manage to get the order wrong here.

After waiting 25 minutes for a McDonald's, I saw several others leave. Mistakes happen, but once I got to the car, I had a double cheeseburger with no sauce, and the croquette was covered in sauce. (Not a big deal with a McDonald's.) Having worked at McDonald's for 10 years, this is a shame to see, but not insurmountable. I'll try again soon 😉😂

I usually don’t leave reviews, but my last visit to McDonald’s was really disappointing. When I placed my order at the self-service machine, the receipt didn’t print out, which already caused some confusion. We told a staff member right away, but nothing was done to fix it. Then we had to wait around 30 minutes for our food, even though there weren’t that many people in the restaurant. When we finally got our order, the burgers looked terrible — everything was messy and falling apart (you can see it in the photo). Honestly, it felt like no care was put into preparing the food at all. Really hope the service and quality improve, because this experience was far from what you’d expect from McDonald’s.

20 minute wait for a small soft drink and latte macchiato at 7pm

Today they brought me a burger with a hair in it, and they didn't notice until I removed the hair. They put the burger back, but it's a very unpleasant situation that ruined my appetite and the overall experience.

The worst McDonald's I've ever seen. Slow, dirty, and catastrophic!

It's really dirty in here. The floor is like a slide. The tables and benches are filthy. In short, everything is filthy. The fries are soggy. No seasoning on the burgers. The burgers are quite greasy. I've never experienced such a bad McDonald's.

Hamburger was lukewarm and fries were lukewarm, tough and tasteless.

I was here for breakfast at exactly 9am, just a quick visit to the toilet which was filthy, just disgusting. The restaurant itself wasn't clean either and that was already at opening time.

The food was lukewarm. The peach milkshake had no flavor. There was a lot of chatting and laughing behind the counter. Receipts were scattered all over the floor. Last time, napkins were strewn all over the floor under the tables. Trash cans were overflowing outside. Not going back.

It's very inconvenient that a McDonald's offers breakfast and coffee from 9:00 AM. Especially if you're driving past at 8:00 AM.

At the drive thru, I waited a long time for a small order (2 items) and then received the wrong items… then waited another long time for the correct order…

The dining area was quite dirty.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. Everything was dirty. The staff didn't look fresh. The barrel inside was full of junk. Tables covered in rubbish. The floor was too filthy to even walk on. The chairs were uncomfortable. Was there anything good? No. Is that a problem? Yes, it is, because you're paying a lot.

No atmosphere, food is fine and the staff radiates as if they don't want to be there.

Great McDonald's. Motorhomes can park on the shoulder outside the parking lot. Thanks to the friendly team.

Ik ben niet zo'n klager maar dit was echt niet oké. Lauwe friet met ongelooflijk veel zout en een keihard doorbakken burger. Voor ons geen vervolg bij deze vestiging.

Ordered at the kiosk and was required to enter a table number, which wasn't available. No receipt was issued either. The tables were very dirty and the trash can was already overflowing. It wasn't busy and there weren't enough staff. Two men in white McDonald's shirts (managers?) were in the restaurant; surely they must have seen this...

Very poor service, no more number plates... tables aren't cleaned. Staff smoke outside next to the children's playground. Unacceptable.

The staff were too lazy to look at the allergen menu while there were no customers waiting, and they stood behind the counter like: I have to work here, but I don't want to be so sad here, the place needs a good sweep!!!

The food was good by McDonald's standards. If you're looking for quality, this isn't the place to go. It's fine for a quick bite.

On the way to a funeral in Usselo I stopped for a McKroket.

Music in the tent was still on disco cleaning mode at 11.45am...... Toilets were dirty and the volume of the disco music was even louder there...... All in all a bad choice to stop!!! A good manager at this establishment would do the name McDonalds justice! The fries could have more salt in terms of taste

The slowest McDonalds ever! Come first, get served last. The staff isn't friendly and walk around dragging their feet. Takes 30 minutes to get two ice creams and the restaurant is not busy. Last week it went through the mcdrive for two cappuccinos and two mc muffins, also quiete and had to wait approx 30 minutes.

Was on a Saturday night, it was horrible! No adult staff present and everything was filthy! Trash bins overflowing, also all sorts of things were next to and on! All tables were really dirty! Never again for us!

De slechtste Mac die wij ooit bezocht hebben. De bordjes met nummers waren op waardoor je bij de balie moest bestellen. Het personeel was eerst druk met lachen, en praten voordat ze ons zagen staan. Het restaurant zelf was zo goed als leeg (logisch) overal was het een grote bende met rotzooi op de grond, en buiten het gebouw net zo. Personeel heeft tijd zat om opteruimen. Waar is de manager ?!. Teveel jongeren bij elkaar die duidelijk aangestuurd moeten worden. Dit kan echt niet. Zo te lezen zijn wij niet de enige met deze ervaring.

Very bad Mac. Staff just laughs and chats. The number plates were gone so we had to order at the counter. Staff didn't even see us. There was hardly anyone there (logical if you read all the other reviews). There was rubbish everywhere on the floor, even when you walked out of the Mac. There are all young people working there who clearly need guidance, where is the manager?!. They have plenty of time to clean up.

Nice new layout, entrance has been moved (I lost it :)). Modern and clean and bright.

Order was brought to the table. 2 menus with BicMac and Quarter Pounder without cheese and some nuggets. BicMac was not included, fries were limp and still just warm. Back to the counter, got a BigMac. No problem. When my girlfriend wanted to start her Quarter Pounder, it turned out there was cheese on it, despite the extra sticker on the packaging stating: without cheese. Big mistake, you'd be allergic to it. Back to the counter again, a new one would be and was eventually brought. The fries had become cold in the meantime, the comment about that was taken note of. All in all a bad experience, especially for the prices they charge these days.

Well really. You can at least expect that you get the food fresh. Unfortunately, I only noticed it when I got home. Such a shame and actually just scandalous. I really think that every customer would rather wait a little longer than just get food that has been sitting there for too long. Even my son asked if the chicken nuggets were old.

Ordered inside. It was brought to the table fairly quickly. Big Mac and cheeseburger were even colder than lukewarm. Cheese was also not melted. Vanilla milkshake also had better at other McDonalds than at this one. Only thing that was ok, were the fries. 4 Tables had just been cleaned. These were still quite wet and 3 of the 4 tables still had lettuce remains on them. Floor dirty here and there. Coffee was on the floor when we entered.

Had to wait 25 minutes for two cappuccinos, two sodas and four cookies. And we weren't the only ones who had to wait a very long time.

One of the best McDonalds I've visited. Clean, convenient and most importantly food is perfectly cooked and still very warm at table. Plenty free parking.

The young blond guy, trying to find out what I was drinking, opened the stopper of the glass to smell it... I couldn't believe my eyes, especially with long hair without protection. Oh, and by the way, if my nose isn't working, he gave me a Coke when I ordered iced tea. Another girl who went outside to smoke around the corner in the kitchen doesn't wash her hands... and I was thinking that this system goes very well with the "junk food" of fast food. Very slow service, 10 minutes for a crispy MC with two tables in the room and so many staff.

Food was quick and hot. Restaurant was not clean. Tables dirty and trash cans full. When bringing food they just leave the plates with numbers.

Order placed via the post inside. Waited half an hour. It turned out that they had not seen the order at all... very special. As a saving grace, we all (4p) received a McFlurry. That was very neat.

Apparently the children get standard vegetarian chicken nuggets in a Happy Meal. When I order chicken nuggets, I expect chicken, not vegetarian junk. The gluten free burger I had was very dry, too bad. The staff stood in a group in the parking lot in front of the entrance, smoking in company clothing. Not really representative. I don't think it's really recommended.

Eating via Mac Drive always takes a bit of time here. It is one of the most expensive McDonalds

We had to wait a very long time at McDonald's. While we had been waiting for a while, one of our own staff was helped quickly. Then we waited alone again, only to be told that our order was not available. No apology, no alternative offered. Bad service and a disappointing experience.

Fries were lukewarm, even though you were eating inside..

Very dirty and filthy inside, as if no proper cleaning had been done for weeks It's now 5 years later that it has deteriorated even further, the staff is uninterested, the table number makes no sense, you can walk to the counter yourself, the food is lukewarm and still rubbish everywhere.

If it is a bit busier here, you will have to wait a lot longer for your order. Almost at the same time, but ordered separately with my brother (less than 30 seconds difference), but I had to wait 14 minutes longer for my order! And the burger was quite lukewarm. My brother ordered a McFlurry afterwards and that took 12 minutes and was also wrong! Barrel was overcrowded and only 3 table cards available (even after asking for more). Lots of room for improvement.

Te gek voor woorden. Bestelling gedaan, meet dan 5 dingen vergeten door personeel te leveren. Foutje was het antwoord. 1 ding kan ik nog voorstellen maar 5 dingen. Ze lezen de bon gewoon niet, zijn erg druk met kletsen.

McDonalds has become insanely expensive!

Too bad it opened 7 minutes later than indicated, reason, door broken. Toilets are dirty, floor is sticky and slippery, a little too much cleaning products. Cups are picked up from the ground and neatly put back. Coffee machine leaks so much that there is more coffee grounds in your cup and on the worktop than coffee in your cup. And the staff has the attitude that I have to work, but I prefer it in bed. First time and also the last time

Last time we ordered food here via the Mac drive and we were not very satisfied, the food was ice cold and it looked like it had been there for a few hours. We then called and explained it and were allowed to come back at a later time to solve it. We came back today and received 3 discount menus and a snack for free, while we ordered much less last time. This time the food was fresh and nice and warm, so we were very satisfied!

Food was cold, order was wrong. There were no fries and MC croquette was missing.

Trash cans were full. Wasn't cleaned up. Staff is disinterested. Next time we'll go to Westermaat or Oldenzaal.

I don't like the layout, it's not cozy. The staff is somewhat cheerful and tidy. Tables need to be cleaner after each visit. Food was great.

Normally I really hate the Golden Temple. But the McDonald's located in Hengelo South exceeded all my expectations and has completely restored my confidence in the Golden Temple! Here the McDonald's located in my hometown can suck a proverbial point. There you are, risking your own life (2022 incident), in an overcrowded food shed with soggy fries and screaming children around you. McDonald's Hengelo Zuid, on the other hand, feels like a safe haven. I parked my butt on the extremely comfortable leather couch with my buddy. Ordering was easy and within less than 3 minutes our meal came rolling out of the grease pond. Crispy fries, juicy burger and a cold drink for a reasonable price. After this oasis of peace and this culinary highlight, my buddy and I can continue our trip to Zwolle with peace of mind and a full belly. You won't see me here anymore. After waiting half an hour we asked where our food was. Was already waiting in the bin. Food cold. Have new ones made. That was great!! Staff arguing among themselves.

We were there with 2 drivers with an American school bus after we had dropped off groups in Dieka in Markelo with a second similar bus. Friendly service that even after closing time, while cleaning, allowed us to sit in the warmth, as we did not have to pick up our groups until 3am.

Disappointing, I am always very positive about the MC Flurrys, now that I have ordered 3, they are stingy and the MC Flurry is not as they make it when I order 1

This McDonald's is so bad. The emergency exit is used by the crew as a normal exit. The crew are all smoking at this exit. Every time the (emergency) door opens because a crew member goes in or out, the jellyfish smoke comes in. They also leave the (emergency) door ajar, which makes it extremely cold inside. As far as I know, an emergency door may be opened if an actual emergency occurs and is not used as a main entrance for staff. The food you ordered will be cold in no time.

In terms of Mac, it's a bit of a mockery. Came in to have something to eat quickly after the movie. Tables everywhere with leftovers, packaging and trays. Ground strewn and after ordering it took a very long time before the food finally arrived. If that girl in the kitchen put the phone away, things would probably have gone 20% faster. Edit. Also a mess outside. All the rubbish bins are overflowing. Good morning, what a mess

Now the 2nd time that when you get home...the order is not complete...in other words, check it carefully before you drive away! A pity

After 40 minutes still no food...

At my arrival time it was quite quiet. Ordered a breakfast menu. Received the wrong sandwich, no cutlery and coffee grounds in the coffee. Anything can happen. Just can't match the crowds. All resolved amicably.

It was very quiet at 1:30 PM. I was helped well and had a delicious meal.

At McDonald's in Hengelo Zuid the food was very good and fresh. I ordered fries, McNuggets and McCrispy Chicken Mustard, everything tasted great. I received the order very quickly, within a few minutes. The service was very efficient - they noticed they had given me the wrong burger before I noticed it and corrected their mistake immediately. I really appreciate such a quick and professional response. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, and the interior looked aesthetically pleasing. Prices are standard, like in any McDonald's. I definitely recommend this place - fast service and fresh food are great advantages.

The food: The food here is very tasty, in my opinion it could have been a little warmer, hence the 4 stars for the food. The service: Fast service, friendly staff, nothing to complain about, so 5 stars Realm: There is a nice atmosphere, nice music, although I am into metal myself, but I can understand that the music is a bit too heavy for a restaurant chain like McDonalds. Despite this, I have visited other branches where there was a slightly better atmosphere than here, but still 4 stars.

Ordered vegetarian nuggets, got normal ones. Fries were cold. Thanks!
