McDonald's in Wijk 02 Breukelen

Mc's in Breukelen isn't the best. It's always filthy; dust everywhere, dirty tables, downright filthy restrooms, and there was a mouse on the patio. The fries are limp and lukewarm, the burger is lukewarm, and the milkshake is like lukewarm porridge. The last time I was there, my daughter threw up the milkshake outside. You won't see us there anymore...

I waited 15 minutes for two burgers and fries, only to find that the fries were missing and one of the burgers had apparently fallen out during packaging and spilled all over the bag... I can't comment on the rest of the service. But it's better to go to a different restaurant if possible.

McDonald's Breukelen isn't a restaurant. It's a way station for people who've given up on life for a while. You drive there with hope. Hope for warmth, salt, and quick relief. You leave with lukewarm fries and questions about your choices. The parking lot feels like a shelter for tired company cars and families who almost parted ways. Inside, the lights are bright, but the atmosphere is dim. As if everything here is permanently in a waiting room. The ordering kiosks look at you with the patience of a therapist who already knows that talking won't solve anything anymore. You tap, you hesitate, you order the same thing again. The Big Mac tastes exactly as you remember. That's not a compliment. The fries are limp, but not enough to get angry about. Right at that point where you accept it. The milkshake is cold, thick, and has the emotional depth of a voicemail that never gets returned. The staff works hard. You can tell. Too hard. With that look of people who know this isn't temporary, but permanent. They call out numbers as if they were names at an airport where no one really gets out. You eat. Not because you're hungry, but because you've already started. McDonald's Breukelen. No fast food. A pause in your ambitions.

I got my food quickly around 6 p.m. Plenty of parking. Great Mac!

I'm 23 years old, I've been to McDonald's hundreds of times, and this was clearly my worst experience with McDonald's ever. When ordering, we ordered black coffee with medium fries and fries sauce. Then he asked us for medium fries, long pause, with fries sauce, long pause, and what else? I almost laughed. Because I said three things. But then I politely said yes, and a black coffee. Then he repeated the order: medium fries with fries sauce and a black coffee. Then, when we picked it up, suddenly medium fries with fries sauce and a bag of shaker spices? How?! And how do you even assume people order that? Drive thru 4 minutes ago

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, good food, fast service. One drawback was that no napkins were provided with the order. But that's the only thing that wasn't good.

Way too crowded. Chaos already in the parking lot. No better inside. Crowd control seems useful to me.

Always very busy at this location and difficult to get a seat

Well, it's a McDonald's. It was very crowded, and the service was a bit slow in my opinion. Considering the number of customers, the staffing could have been better. The McArch was delicious, though; a nice addition to the menu!

They're crooks!! They've made their own prices here... nothing like other branches... no, no, they're creating their own treasure chest by doubling the prices on certain burgers!! For example... I ordered 2 fish fillets (5.75 each) and 2 chili chicken (1.95 each) and a chocolate milk... a total of 18.75. Now I got another sandwich in Amsterdam, and guess what... fish fillet sandwiches 2.50 each. I contacted the manager of the Breukelen branch, and they admitted they make their own prices, and yes, that's completely different from Amsterdam... in short!! Much more expensive, almost 2.5 times as much!!! I think that's criminal, and I always thought all McDonald's prices were the same, but they're not!! People, don't be fooled!!! I'm definitely not going back here. In short. Breukelen fish fillet sandwich for €5.75, and the same sandwich, perhaps even better, in Amsterdam for €2.50... and a manager who finds it all perfectly normal when we ask him for an explanation with a friendly phone call... Be warned, watch your wallet!

My mother and I both got food poisoning after eating the Big Tasty menu with a salad. We have felt horrible since last night. We are sure it was from McDonald's food because we didn't eat anything else that day.

None of the food we ordered was freshly prepared. Some of it was cold, some of it mushy, and the nuggets were cold and rock-hard. Hunger was the only thing that drove us in.

It's a McDonald's. Conveniently located because it's very close to the highway. The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly.

Just another consistent McDonalds. But the new Korean burger disappointed... Last month the Chicken vendor from Kentucky had delicious Korean chicken on special, maybe from there 🤔

I got the wrong size drink first, but ended up getting the right one. It happens, of course, but we also ordered a veggie McCrispy, which had a regular chicken burger on it. I showed this to the manager, and she tried to convince me it was veggie, even though I work at the MC and know that veggie looks different, and this was just a chicken burger. Luckily, I knew this, but she still tried to convince me it was veggie. I ended up getting the right one, even though she kept telling me I was wrong. I think if you work here, you should be able to see and know the difference. And certainly not deny that it's not meat.

We visited this McDonald’s in the morning as a group of four. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, which made a good first impression. We placed our order through the self-service machines without any issues, and the process was smooth. The food was generally good — the drinks and fries were exactly what you’d expect. However, there was one recurring problem with the burgers: the way they were wrapped. Each time we unfolded the paper, the lettuce was either falling out or placed outside of the burger, and this happened with all six burgers we ordered. While the taste itself was fine, the presentation and care in assembling the burgers could definitely be improved. Another downside was the men’s restroom. The toilet was out of order, leaving only the urinal available, which is inconvenient for customers.

Ordered at the counter. The young man didn't speak a word of Dutch and had very poor English. I entered things incorrectly three times, and finally he went to ask for help. Personally, I find it very strange that an employee speaks to you in English. I live in the Netherlands, and there are plenty of people who don't speak English. The service was also subpar. I don't complain easily, but I found this really bad.

The service at the McDrive was terrible. After waiting 10 minutes at the counter, we were helped by a woman who only spoke English, but she seemed unfamiliar with the menus I was reciting. Nothing seemed to register with her. After a few minutes, a man came who did understand me, but I had to repeat everything three times. Finally, we got our food. And it was just fine.

In Germany, it's no longer considered fast food, as you have to wait forever. Here, the wait was short, and the hamburgers were tasty, for McDonald's. They were considerably hotter and had more sauce, so they weren't as dry as in Germany. Strange, I thought the standards were the same everywhere.

One toilet, flies everywhere, filthy. Cold food...never again

Delicious coffee here, and friendly and welcoming staff. Schoonebeek also has a small shop and free restrooms.

Constantly having problems with returnable cups at the Drive-Thru. I have to repeatedly request a returnable cup, and then have trouble returning the cups when I pay. I do pay by card, and I get cash back for returning cups. This needs to change, and it can.

We had to wait a long time for our order, but we finally had to ask where it was. Then the sauce was missing, so we got a plain hamburger bun, and the straws had woken up. We ordered ice cream later, and we also had to wait a really long time, so we had to go after it ourselves. The wrong one was delivered, but we finally got the right one. Not recommended, drive further for a better McDonald's.

A medium-sized, tasty gluten-free quarter pounder, but the order was delivered incorrectly, which was unacceptable! However, the English staff were friendly.

According to opening hours, the restaurant is open until midnight, but upon arrival at 11:45 PM they have already closed the place off and you can no longer enter.

Despite clearly published opening hours, the (mis)management chose to close the restaurant for no reason. Only the McDrive was open—a complete traffic disaster after a concert at the ArenA. Worthless!

You think you're going to stop by the McDonald's, just like a few times before. You're given another incomplete and inedible order. This time, I was full. The McNuggets were more like doughnuts, and when you have a sore throat, you think you'll just go for a lemon mint lemonade, only to find out later that it literally only contains ice cream (no lemonade to be had). It's a disgrace, and a waste of €23, just like the previous times. I'll never go there again. You end up spending your break at the KFC, where thankfully everything was complete. McDonald's, please do something about this. It's a waste of €23; hopefully, it won't be this way for others.

Even my dog's wet food was tastier. I spent €30 on it, and it was absolutely inedible. I'd rather shove something else in my mouth. I'd rather go to the place next door, E.d. Kroket. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!!!

We spent a total of 27 euros and had the worst experience we've ever had. It started with the fries, which were worse than ever. Half-raw, far too soft, and unsalted. We also received a single cheeseburger instead of a double, and a chili chicken, which we hadn't ordered! Furthermore, three-quarters of the staff speak English and can't even click on simple things. McDonald's, shame on you!

They had sherry and coke. Big tasty, medium menu was fine, fries were a bit limp.

Arrived just before noon and was immediately sent outside because everything inside closes at noon, which was quite strange because we were on time. McDrive service was good, though.

Rarely had such bad service. Bizarrely unfriendly staff, it is too bizarre for words. They are messing with each other behind the counter and when you have a question they talk in a non-Dutch language behind your back.

There is a boy behind the counter, who was mainly busy trying to throw sachets of sauce in my order bag. When I said something about it, his adult colleague apologized instead of this boy. Then at home I found a hair from his very wild blond hair in my food, with me fries where the top layer was nice and warm and the bottom cold. That was really well done! Lousy attitude of staff, very grumpy girl who doesn't even look at you and having to wait 25 minutes for food while there was hardly anyone inside. And in the meantime, all kinds of things are being given away to friends who are hanging around outside (and inside).

Waited 50 minutes for 2 ice creams. I said I wanted them finally or my money back, I got my money back. Via the mcdrive I had them within 1 minute. Many employees are looking around, few people help.

Originally I'm far from being a McDonald's fan, but they do get better and nicer. This one is on the side of the highway, and it's a good place to stop for a small meal and coffee.

Got cold food and had to wait a long time

Stopped for a snack on the way home from the airport. We only went to the drive-thru restaurant, so I can't comment on the interior. Although the fries were supposed to be cooked by a timer, we felt like they had been taken out of the fryer early. They weren't cooked at all.

Orders are processed very quickly. They do make mistakes (forgetting food, sauces) however
