McDonald's in Wijk 02 Breukelen

I recently went through the McDrive. Coffee, hot chocolate, and a Fristi for the little one. I was shocked by the price, but apparently that is normal these days. Despite the price, no straw was included; I had to go inside to get one afterwards. The staff speaks barely any Dutch. I asked if there wasn't a cookie with the coffee, like the ones you very regularly get for free. That wasn't possible, because according to the Eastern European woman, I hadn't ordered one. Given the language barrier, I didn't pursue the matter further. Customer friendliness was nowhere to be found, but that was perhaps because it was Monday morning.

The food was terrible, and the orange juice tasted like it had gone bad. The service was awful and it takes a long time. They messed up my order, as well as the ones before and after mine. To make matters worse, my food had already gotten cold when I received it, so the cheese was already hard! The store was also not very clean. I will never come back.

A filthy McDonald's with lots of flies and spiderwebs everywhere. Food mediocre and staff unfriendly. Tables dirty and sticky.

I'm getting so tired of the fresh mint tea from McDonald's, when are you guys finally going to change this? 3 sprigs in a huge cup; 3 sprigs aren't much to write home about in a small cup either.. I think the price-quality ratio is worthless.

Good afternoon. It was nice at Yo, but the children sitting on the terrace upstairs are smoking right in the middle of the playground with the window open and behaving inappropriately. They are banging incredibly hard on the playground upstairs and smoking there as well. No one is keeping an eye on them.

Order not brought to the table completely. Had to go back to the counter myself to get the burger. The staff was very uninterested. I did get my burger, but no apology; it was shoved into my hand and she moved on... The fries were very soggy. Not worth repeating.

Worst McDrive I have ever experienced!! Unclear instructions, rude, and incredibly slow. You can see the chaos in the kitchen, employees are leaning against a wall, bickering in a language unknown to me, and the men, in different uniforms—presumably managers?!?—are looking sheepishly around. 18 minutes for an order

We had to walk to the counter 3 times because they forgot something or didn't fix it properly.. I have a sauce allergy and asked for no chili sauce. Fries sauce twice and BBQ sauce forgotten for my father's, no lettuce or cucumbers added to the wrap but chili sauce was included.. very bad, it wasn't busy or anything otherwise I would have understood.

Restrooms 🚻 dirty, no soap, no towels to dry your hands & hand dryer does NOT work! Personnel walk around but NOBODY cleans the tables, seats & floor!!!

Yeah, it’s a Maccy D’s so expectations are set. Look, it does what it does—decent pit stop, quick service, food is what you expect. But the inside is a bit nasty, not gonna lie. Place could use a proper clean and refresh, feels a bit tired. That said, genuinely great place to carpool. Parking’s accessible, easy to meet up with people, and you can grab something quick without faffing around. If you’re coordinating with mates before heading somewhere, this is solid. The layout works for that kind of thing. So yeah—decent carpool hub, mediocre fast food experience. Not a destination, but perfectly functional for what you need.

Waited over 25 minutes for a McFlurry, ended up having to get it myself.. things go wrong here often.

We stood in the drive-thru here with a family of 4. I think the staff themselves didn't even know they had a drive-thru; I think we stood there for 40 minutes just to be able to order. What was also worthless was that the person taking the order spoke broken Dutch and didn't seem to know he was working. Received the order after a total of 60 minutes. Immediately checked if we had everything, but no, we went back inside (should have actually brought an interpreter). Nobody spoke a word of Dutch; it also seemed like they were all already on vacation. I was almost tempted to make my own food; it would have been faster too. By then, the food was already cold, and they made a fuss about forgetting something from our order. In short: WORTHLESS SERVICE!!! Only eat here if you have a lot of patience and speak 8 languages.

We always stop here when going to a concert in Amsterdam. Only downside is that the toilet is always dirty

This McDonald's is really clean. They also have friendly staff. The McDonald's also has a large parking lot underneath.

I bought 2 chili chickens here. I don't know how it's prepared here, but that chicken doesn't taste like chicken in any case.

Annoying loitering teenagers, but the food was really hot and well-prepared. Other franchises could learn a thing or two from this.

they randomly closed just because there were too many people and only let people order through the drive in, even though the line was way too full there as well. We weren‘t able to order.

Delicious soft serve ice cream for a very reasonable price.

From the outside, it looked like the restaurant was already closed. We got coffee from the drive-thru; it tasted like anything but coffee, and the service was, above all, very bad. We didn't receive anything with the coffee, and by the time we wanted to ask, the lady had already left.

If you can go to another place or to Burger King, do that! The guy behind the microphone at the drive-thru is completely uninterested and just mumbles whatever; furthermore, I had to place the order three times since he’d rather be on his phone than do his job.

Just ordered from the drive-thru with the family, they couldn't get the order right again, forgot the Happy Meal, the iced frappuccino didn't come through, and to top it all off, a hair in the fries.. very bad here.

What's wrong with the drive-through girl (1:49 PM today) who can't hear anything through her headphones? I had to repeat my order three times and discovered she'd added things to my order that I hadn't ordered. She didn't give me the spicy vegetarian McChicken, but gave me the vegetarian McChicken instead. Then, at the checkout, she tells me I shouldn't have told her I didn't want the fries sauce when I paid and asks her if she'd added it because the payment was higher than the order. So, she blames me for her hearing problem.

McDonald's close to the highway and train station. Convenient for a quick bite on the go. The food was as you would expect from McDonald's. There were no clean tables to be found in the restaurant, and the toilet paper had poop on the wall. In short, not much different from other McDonald's.

Nice McDonald's that really benefits from its location. Stop by for a quick bite on the way from the south to Amsterdam or Schiphol. It is relatively quiet upstairs.

Insanely busy; at the takeaway counter, if your number suddenly disappears, the employee's response could be quite a bit more customer-friendly... The fries were not cooked through. The overall impression was not fresh.

Nice people let me stay there till 12:40 AM due to thunderstorm. Felt safe.

Toilet upstairs is a disabled toilet Okay, I'm not disabled, but I can't manage to get upstairs quickly either. So I just use the disabled toilet with a guilty feeling 11:57 no more breakfast

These people are really always happy and friendly and the food is MAC🎁

Fine McDonald's. We visited here during our stay at Van der Valk Breukelen before going to a concert. The food was nice and hot, something often missing at McDonald's. Staff reasonably friendly.

About an hour after we ate here, we weren't feeling great; my friend threw up on the way home when we stopped at a gas station. While waiting, I read a few reviews of this McDonald's, and what did I see... Several people got food poisoning from the "Tasty" menu. And guess what, that's exactly what he ordered...

Bad service, the lady behind the intercom at the drive-thru is almost impossible to understand and she also scans the wrong order. From now on, I'll be giving the McDonald's here a wide berth.

Bought a large lemonade today at mcdonalds Breukelen. It was completely filled with ice so i asked for a little less ice and more juice because I orderd the large for extra. The manager told me there is nothing he can do because the machine is set this way. I asked for a small cup to poor the lemonade out and it did not even reach half of the small cup! The manager said he knows this trick and is aware of it, thats why he doesnt buy this drink anymore. So mcdonalds staff at breukelen are aware of this and still sell these overpriced ice drinks to customers. When the customer complains they will agree and advice you to not buy it anymore. I dont go to Mcdonalds often but and this was a first time experiencing this and for me it wil certainly be the last time me or my kids ever visit one. In the picture you can compare the large and the small cup.

After we only went through the McDrive for an Oreo Frappe, we were told at the checkout that it was on the house. That was a nice introduction!

The food is the same as at any McDonald's. I thought the service was very good, but they forgot the sauce and a drink. However, they didn't make a fuss and gave it to me right away, along with an extra free sauce. The atmosphere was great; if it's not too busy, it's really good, and they have an extra outdoor area with glass upstairs where you have a very nice view.

The food is like in any other McDonald's, only it is so filthy here. The toilets, the ladies' ones, everything covered in urine—the seat, the floor—really, really dirty. Trays piled high with serving trays, food everywhere on the floors; it was really intense (this was on the first floor).

Fine McDonald's. However, it was very quiet and quite a few tables downstairs were still dirty. Perhaps it had been very busy just before that and there hadn't been a moment yet? Just a suggestion, perhaps. The food was fine. It would be nice, though, to be able to choose a medium cup drink with a large menu. Large is really very large. Friendly staff!

We come here quite often and it's always really good. However: 2-05-2026 21:45 I accidentally ordered the wrong burger after all. Sorry. I pointed that out and eventually received my double quarter pounder with extra fries at no extra charge. Very tasty, thanks!

For the countryside it's good. It's like a McDonald's.

They threw my food around, the food was cold and just disgusting, don't go there, yuck, and the order was made wrong, just do your job, make things right.

Drive through, horrible wait although just 1 car in in front of us , wait 10-12 min before order then wait 13-14 min for food through the window. Reserve 30 mins for drive through !

We were here at 11:30 PM and it was still cozy and the food was tasty, just like at McDonald's, and all the food was served very quickly. I can recommend it.

I went in the evening. The top floor where the toilets are located was closed off. Downstairs, there was only one toilet left. And then a bus arrived with people who needed to use the toilet. So then you have a very long line of people waiting. I didn't like that so much.

Mc's in Breukelen isn't the best. It's always filthy; dust everywhere, dirty tables, downright filthy restrooms, and there was a mouse on the patio. The fries are limp and lukewarm, the burger is lukewarm, and the milkshake is like lukewarm porridge. The last time I was there, my daughter threw up the milkshake outside. You won't see us there anymore...

I waited 15 minutes for two burgers and fries, only to find that the fries were missing and one of the burgers had apparently fallen out during packaging and spilled all over the bag... I can't comment on the rest of the service. But it's better to go to a different restaurant if possible.

McDonald's Breukelen isn't a restaurant. It's a way station for people who've given up on life for a while. You drive there with hope. Hope for warmth, salt, and quick relief. You leave with lukewarm fries and questions about your choices. The parking lot feels like a shelter for tired company cars and families who almost parted ways. Inside, the lights are bright, but the atmosphere is dim. As if everything here is permanently in a waiting room. The ordering kiosks look at you with the patience of a therapist who already knows that talking won't solve anything anymore. You tap, you hesitate, you order the same thing again. The Big Mac tastes exactly as you remember. That's not a compliment. The fries are limp, but not enough to get angry about. Right at that point where you accept it. The milkshake is cold, thick, and has the emotional depth of a voicemail that never gets returned. The staff works hard. You can tell. Too hard. With that look of people who know this isn't temporary, but permanent. They call out numbers as if they were names at an airport where no one really gets out. You eat. Not because you're hungry, but because you've already started. McDonald's Breukelen. No fast food. A pause in your ambitions.

I got my food quickly around 6 p.m. Plenty of parking. Great Mac!

I'm 23 years old, I've been to McDonald's hundreds of times, and this was clearly my worst experience with McDonald's ever. When ordering, we ordered black coffee with medium fries and fries sauce. Then he asked us for medium fries, long pause, with fries sauce, long pause, and what else? I almost laughed. Because I said three things. But then I politely said yes, and a black coffee. Then he repeated the order: medium fries with fries sauce and a black coffee. Then, when we picked it up, suddenly medium fries with fries sauce and a bag of shaker spices? How?! And how do you even assume people order that? Drive thru 4 minutes ago

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, good food, fast service. One drawback was that no napkins were provided with the order. But that's the only thing that wasn't good.

Way too crowded. Chaos already in the parking lot. No better inside. Crowd control seems useful to me.

Well, it's a McDonald's. It was very crowded, and the service was a bit slow in my opinion. Considering the number of customers, the staffing could have been better. The McArch was delicious, though; a nice addition to the menu!
