It's nice if you have children who want to go to McDonald's.

I am the only one, but I still have to wait 10 minutes. Ridiculous. Worst restaurant in the world.

I ordered food via Thuisbezorgd. When it arrived, my cola spilled in the bag and a burger was missing. We called Thuisbezorgd and McDonald's; we even went inside McDonald's, and we received nothing—no money or any other solution. I find this very unprofessional.

Ordered a Chicken Burger and fries. Standard McDonald’s quality and taste, nothing special.

August 17 at 6:00 PM I had a takeaway order of €35 with various sandwiches. I ordered at the order/payment kiosk. Then the waiting began. My order number disappeared from the screen, but my order wasn't called out. After 10 minutes, it finally arrived. Now, off home quickly to eat. When I got home, it turned out the fries weren't even lukewarm anymore, but simply cold, and 2 sandwiches were missing; I was really annoyed. Back to the branch in the car again. I had to wait a long time for my turn again. All this while I was standing there with my receipt in hand and clearly impatient. When I was finally able to report that 2 sandwiches were missing, the reaction was: "Oh... I'm just going to take a look...", after a few minutes: "They're on their way. This time, fortunately, quickly..." Mistakes are made everywhere, I understand that, but here, no sorry, no excuses, nothing of the sort. More like a look of 'whatever... and now please get out of here quickly...' I felt like I was treated like a difficult customer. Half a day later, it still doesn't sit right with me, hence my review. Overall conclusion: They won't see me here again.

Order via the app while you are seated at the table. It will be on the table in no time.

Average food with the occasional standout. The hamburger is often served like a puzzle in a container.

I was really craving fries, mac chicken, and a cool drink. It was delicious again.

I have been coming here for 100 years with friends and sometimes family. Never had any problems.

As usual, enjoyed another delicious quick lunch; everything was super fresh and crispy warm, but above all, served super fast! Absolutely top-notch 👌🏻

I only got a mocha iced coffee and then you get chocolate milk. Great! You go back and they provide no service! Sorry, no words for it.

In terms of service, a very bad experience - placed an order at the drive-in, forgot the fish fillet sandwich. At checkout, asked at counter 1 if I could still add it to the order; it wasn't possible because it was too busy, so I had to go through the drive-in again (meaning the rest was cold by then). I mentioned this, but he couldn't do anything about it. When I went to pick up the order at counter 2, I was sent to the parking lane because my order wasn't ready yet ???? Not very helpful; I got even angrier, and that with a competitor across from me. Next order will definitely be KFC.

I waited in the drive-thru for half an hour, only to be told that they were closed. They had closed the gate behind us to close the drive-thru, but they should have closed it earlier to prevent this.

They need more training in food service and more training on Handeling the stress and pressure from busy work, they lose control over quality when they are busy so they serve crap. Sham that this worldwide brand do this bad quality food.

I received perfect assistance from the manager; something had gone wrong with a free hamburger using the points, and he helped me very correctly.

You know that when you go to a fast food place you shouldn't expect too much, but… - your burger really doesn't have to look like it was just dumped on: half sticking out from under the bun and sauce unevenly distributed; - the staff should at least be nice and polite (not that it's a punishment to work there, right?); - if your discount code cannot be scanned, you have to read the code out at the station, whereas there is simply a scanner available when paying (it goes faster in the drive-thru). In short; sometimes you crave a quick, unhealthy bite, but you really should try a little harder, Capelle IJssel!

Unfortunately, there is always a product missing.

Hard to access unless you have a car or scooter. Doesn't deliver everywhere in Capelle aan den IJssel. That's why I only go to the McDonald's if I happen to be in Rotterdam; so I can't come here in Capelle or get delivery.

The service has gone downhill. The young gentleman with braids takes ages (nearly 20 mins this morning when other people were served fast), order was waiting and getting cold because he doesn't know what he is doing. Another client's order was also wrong. And the manager just stands there, barking at customers *what do you want/Are you waiting for?* Train your staff and do your job too! Won't be going to this location any longer.

Does McDonald's no longer offer home delivery? Suddenly, there has been no home delivery via Uber or Thuisbezorgd for a whole week. Not a single location is available in the options, no matter what day or time I check.

It remains lovely to stop by for a bite to eat or a drink.

The big M, sounds like mmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Experiences vary, time after time. From hot to cold. Just like the service, from good to bad. McDonald's is like an emergency ration for us. If we really don't feel like it, we drive in. Usually for a McMuffin or Chicken Nuggets. Two products you can't mess up (at least...) It is striking that the buns seem to be getting smaller and smaller, and the number of errors in the order as well. You're 3 kilometers down the road, breakfast finished. And 10 minutes later: "There was no bacon on it, just checking the receipt?" And indeed! I usually use the drive-in because the ordering kiosks are (just like the food) bad for your heart. First search, then order, 24 intermediate questions: whether you don't want sauce with it after all, or fries. Or want to make a donation. It drives you crazy. The quantity of napkins with every order remains a disgrace! You have to be willing to make some sacrifices for an emergency meal.

Too few parking spaces and a lot of loitering youth in the evening. Food was served quickly and at the right temperature. There are a few more spots inside with some privacy, which is nice.

This morning, during my drive, I suddenly got a craving for an egg mcmuffin... so I went to check which McDonald's was closest to me at that moment... This time it was in Capelle aan den IJssel Rhijnspoor. It was still early, though, and there were a number of people enjoying breakfast. I placed my order at the kiosk. My desired breakfast was delivered to my table quite quickly. Served with a smile and everything nice and fresh. What struck me was: a spotless restaurant, clean toilets, and even the terrace was being cleaned at that very moment by a friendly young man who was cleaning the tables outside. Some restaurants in this chain could take a leaf out of their book. Because that is not the case at every McDonald's... Compliments to this team... I will definitely be back again.

Unfortunately, ordering isn't an option here either. Every time, we get the wrong things or simply miss half of the order. When I call, I'm told "oh, aren't you angry now…" after I accidentally hung up and called back. And that we have to order everything via Thuisbezorgd and Uber. But sorry, the McDonald's staff pack everything, not Uber or Thuisbezorgd. It's really such a shame.

I stopped at the McDonald's next to the Ionity charger in Rotterdam while charging my car, expecting a quick vegetarian option. I have been following a mostly vegetarian (pescatarian) diet for years — vegetables, fish, fresh food — and I rarely have any issues with digestion. I ordered a “veggie” labeled sandwich and a cheese item via the touchscreen. A few hours later, I started feeling seriously unwell and ended up having a very bad night with stomach discomfort and no sleep. This experience made me question what “veggie” actually means here. Because this did not feel like real, quality food — it felt highly processed and difficult for the body to handle. Seeing how many people consume this kind of food daily is honestly concerning. If this is the standard, then there is a serious issue with food quality and transparency. McDonald's should take more responsibility for what they serve, especially when labeling products as vegetarian. Clear ingredients, better quality, and less processing would make a huge difference. Thank you for the experience — but I will definitely not repeat it.

Lukewarm double cheeseburger. Too bad

We had dinner with our two grandchildren tonight. Happy Meals and Big Mac Meals. One of the children accidentally knocked over a milkshake. A very sweet lady came to clean up immediately, and we were promptly given a new milkshake and straws. She sweetly told the children, "It happens." Fantastic!

Food was nice, to bad the coffee machine broke down. Service was good and staff friendly .definitely will come back, hopefully this time also for a coffee ❤️

Food used to be better than it is now. It's ridiculous that the music is blasting loudly at McDonald's.

When you empty your fries onto the tray and then, after almost eating everything, find this hair at the bottom... We really checked to make sure it wasn't mine or my daughter's, but it's not ours. Maybe wear hairnets? Gloves wouldn't hurt either. Overall satisfied, but one star for this experience.

It was not crowded when we dine. Staff were friendly. Restrooms were clean and place was clean in general.

After years, I went to McDonald's again. McDonald's has gotten so expensive, and I can't really say it was value for money. It seems the quality has declined, or I just didn't care for it before. It's not fast food either when you have to wait almost 10 minutes.

It's McDonalds. Not going for the 5 star food haha however, this place is only decent if you collect yourself. Don't place delivery orders. They go wrong more often than they go well and it's not worth the money. Drive thru is efficient and well organised.

Taking and correctly placing orders has become a real challenge at McDonald's these days. The last four orders were all wrong, then another sauce was forgotten, then you order without onion, you get onion but no pickle, then you order without tomato, and yes, you guessed it... you get a tomato. It's actually too bizarre for words; it's literally reading what's on a screen and implementing it. Apparently, this bit of reading comprehension and implementation is already too much to ask of McDonald's staff these days... Now I can throw the nuggets away because without sauce, they're just too dry to eat. It's truly sad that something so simple can't even go right anymore. This is exactly why my friends and I now go to Burger King. It's much cheaper, at least it's actually filling, and you get exactly what you ordered and paid for. At least they show us how it's done right there.

The big arch was very tasty but the nuggets were a little bit dry. The personal was very friendly! The restaurant was clean. Good impression!

I hadn't been to this McDonald's since it was renovated. And it looks great, with nice chairs and a modern layout. My small dog used to be allowed in the restaurant, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. This visit was pleasant. I stopped by for a small snack, which was brought to my table: a fresh fish burger and McNuggets. I mentioned that the McNuggets were cold, and they gave me a new portion without any problem. Unfortunately, there's a lot of trash around here, and visitors don't always throw things in the trash.

I received very friendly service with smiles from both employees at the drive-thru today (around 6:15 PM). Kudos, guys! The person who took my order was also very helpful when I asked if I had any coupons to redeem. And that even though it was very busy. Fantastic!

This McDonald's has already been renovated and looks much better. It's not much different from other McDonald's and has the standard offerings and occasional specials. The counter staff varies. Some are very helpful and work quickly, others less so. There's plenty of space to sit and eat, and there's ample parking.

It's getting more shameless every time I visit. Now almost all drinks cost another 15 cents. A bit of sauce 85 cents. Not buying the slob anymore.

Disgraceful. Half my orders are regularly forgotten. When you call and are promised a free Happy Meal, and supposedly, all your contact information is taken, suddenly no one knows about it when you come to pick it up. I've never experienced such a bad McDonald's. I've worked for a few of them myself. These kinds of pranks didn't happen there, and little children didn't leave crying, but with big smiles. You should be ashamed of yourselves; I'll drive a bit further from now on for the service that's so clearly lacking here!

It looked like a big bite had been taken out of the burger. I always open my bun first to see what it looks like. Luckily, I did too. The staff and manager looked at me as if I'd done it myself. For me, there was only one solution: fire the kitchen worker on the spot. A lame joke and very unsanitary.

As almost always, the fries were cold. When it's busy, the burger looks like it escaped from the kitchen. Only when it's quiet does your burger resemble what you see in the commercial.

Order two menus and two separate milkshakes. The order takes +10 min and the shakes are getting warm all that time. Ask for new shakes when they are delivered because they have become warm. Despite the fact that they say they will make new ones, they still give me made ones. Final conclusion. When I got home, two warm shakes and a disappointed child and parent. Very unfortunate and sad of McDonalds.

This McDonald's is really so much better than my previous experience in Rotterdam. Ordered at the table via my order, food arrived quickly and was surprisingly warm and delicious. The toilet in this restaurant was also well maintained and clean. A super McDonald's restaurant.

They work very sloppily at the Mc drive, every time they forget to give something, so check everything carefully. The MC Flurry is also always a quarter full, when I once asked if they could fill the cups normally, they said that their boss was not allowed to do so.

The portions seem to be getting smaller and the toppings? These are almost impossible to find nowadays. Where you used to get a generous amount of M&Ms, Oreos or other toppings, it is now as if the employee reluctantly sprinkles a teaspoon over it. And what's even worse: it's not mixed well at all. A McFlurry should be a creamy, well-mixed treat, with the toppings and sauce distributed throughout the ice cream. But these days you just get a dollop of soft serve ice cream with a few stray bits thrown on top. If you're lucky, there will be some leftovers at the bottom, but that's more a coincidence than policy. I understand that companies want to save money, but this is simply no longer the quality you pay for. In addition, the portions also seem to be getting smaller. For the same price you get less ice cream and fewer toppings – a double disappointment. If this continues, you would be better off getting an ice cream somewhere else where they do pay attention to taste and experience. McDonald's, if you're following along: bring back the old McFlurry experience! Give customers value for their money and stop with these frugal savings. A McFlurry should be a moment of enjoyment, not a disappointment in a paper cup.
