Bad, very bad. To long awaited for to nasty coffee

All the tables and chairs weren't very clean. And outside, it was a complete mess.

Super filthy inside, greasy floors, dirty toilets.

Ordered to take away, received it on a tray before opening, had to put everything in a bag myself to take away. Trash cans overflowing, wasn't cleaned up. I won't go here again.

It regularly happens that there is old lettuce on the hamburger. It gives a nasty, bitter taste.

Dirty and messy, especially outside.

Filthy, unclean, puddles of water lying around, baseboards very dirty.

Food very cold and bad staff. Then I go back and the manager comes, the first thing he says is 'yeah'. I point out that it's old and bad, then he says it's being made fresh again. I get home and it's been put back in the fryer; you can just taste it. Kids of 16/17 making you wait and just doing everything nice and easy. Very bad, not recommended for anyone. The staff thinks I'm their friend or something.

I understand that mistakes in an order can happen. However, I find the way McDonald's handled this unacceptable. Part of our order was missing via home delivery. The solution offered was that we could come pick it up ourselves or receive a coupon. That is exactly what you do not pay for when you choose home delivery. The moment an order is incomplete, the responsibility to resolve it lies with McDonald's, not with the customer. Furthermore, what bothered me most was the attitude. There was hardly any willingness to think along with us, there was little understanding of the situation, and even a manager did not go beyond standard answers. There was no sense of responsibility or customer focus whatsoever. From a globally renowned company like McDonald's, I expect a much more professional and service-oriented approach. It is precisely a local entrepreneur who often makes more effort to rectify a mistake than what we experienced here. This experience was downright disappointing and detracts from the reputation McDonald's claims to project.

The toilet was not really clean.

Very bad. Had an argument with the staff because they were grumpy due to the crowds and I asked if it was almost ready, I had to leave soon, to which the answer was "it's ready". The food was rolled hard across the counter, practically, and then I got a "Congratulations". The food was cold, many items were missing 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The restaurant is incredibly dirty. Floor and tables not cleaned. The toilet smells of urine and is very slippery from not being cleaned. And that at 09:41 in the morning. Scandalous

Good food, sometimes a bit slow and cold, but otherwise a fine McDonald's.

Long hair in the fries and forgot to include the first large fry.

I come here about once a month and this branch has gone downhill fast. Sticky tables and floor. Staff just walk past loose receipts and other trash on the floor. Update: it has gotten even worse. The floor is slippery from the filth. You're better off going to the McDonald's on the shopping boulevard.

On every visit, the restaurant is very dirty. The floor is mopped with frying oil three times in a row, and the chairs, benches, and walls are very dirty with food residue. The food is always stale to cold. The staff is friendly, but the policy is very poor! We won't be coming back!

I rarely go there, but every time you're shocked by how much they charge for a hamburger.

Update: during the last visit, both quality and service seemed improved. Curious if they can keep this up. I find this McDonald's really a bit worse than other McDonald's experiences. Dry buns, too little or actually too much sauce on the burgers, often no longer warm, fries really soggy and tasteless, very long waits in the drive-thru. In short, not a very good experience here.

I called and was hung up on for no reason whatsoever. She didn't take me seriously. I think it was because of my accent.

I've never been to such a bad McDonald's! We were almost alone in the restaurant and still had to wait 25 minutes for our food, which was then cold. The return carts were overflowing and the restrooms were appalling!

It’s a bit of a shame that you wait almost 20 minutes for your food, and then it’s cold on top of that and they’re missing burgers too… We’re noticing this more and more often and really, this McDonald’s is going downhill fast.

Surprisingly quiet. Otherwise, no different from other branches. Check that the apple pie isn't frozen. If not, chew it a bit longer. The taste is excellent, by the way.

I ordered a chicken 9 menu last night, along with two single big taste burgers. They messed up my order again with those Spice chicken nuggets. I ordered regular ones, but I got Spice, so unfortunately for my daughter, because she doesn't want nuggets anymore. It's ridiculous because it's not busy, and they make such mistakes that they lose my trust as a consumer.

Well, you have to do something at 11 o'clock if you want to eat anything. It's a shame that you order for over 100 euros and then find that they throw everything in a bag. Okay, the table service on late Saturday nights is no longer available, okay, but a tray... also, all the chairs were already on the tables, so you got the feeling they could run the scrubber through them at any moment. Tasteless food and dirty toilets

The restaurant was dirty and not clean. And the rest was McDonald's quality. So, just barely adequate.

Tables are covered in trash, bins are overflowing, food isn't called out, and after 10 minutes, I walked up myself. I'm told I have to pick it up myself. They don't want to make anything new since the food is cold. I can only get a refund. It's a good thing, I got more back than I paid (apparently, they can't do that either ;)).

What a mess here! I've never seen such a disgusting Mac! Employees are hugging each other while the trash cans are overflowing and tables are covered in garbage! The toilet is full of toilet paper!

The fries were soggy and old. The burgers weren't really warm anymore. This is by far the worst MC we've ever been to. Drive a bit further to another MC.

A very bad experience at McDonald's Almelo Oost – and this is already the second time. I had ordered €70 and was there with four children. At the checkout, I clearly indicated that I wanted warm fries, because I had received lukewarm ones last time. Yet, after a long wait, we received lukewarm fries again. Moreover, the order was incomplete: the sauces and drinks were missing. When I pointed this out, they took my receipt, and I never got it back. I then went to the front myself, because I suspected the drinks had been forgotten again. They were ready in the kitchen, but no one brought them – and even that wasn't complete. There were plenty of staff and it wasn't busy, so I really don't understand this. When I noticed that the fries were lukewarm again, I spoke to the manager and explained that this wasn't the first time. The fries were replaced, but the drinks were still missing. The hygiene was also disappointing: dirty tables, trash on the floor, and a dropped milkshake remained there the entire time we ate. With four children, that's not a pleasant experience. I find this unacceptable for a company like McDonald's. Hopefully, McDonald's Netherlands is taking note, because this location desperately needs better management, organization, and customer service.

Great place to eat a hamburger or something else

Simply unbelievable. The umpteenth time they've forgotten something at the McDonald's drive-thru, even though you paid for it. It's only getting worse, and you're not taken seriously. We got home and noticed the apple pies weren't in the bag. I even forgot a cheeseburger the other day. Is it so hard to double-check an order?! People pay for this!

The manager of this place should really think twice. What a chaotic mess. I constantly get cold food. Last time, I ordered a Happy Meal and nuggets. The nuggets were incredibly dry and almost cold. My Happy Meal wasn't even normal. A cold hamburger, and the bag of fries only a quarter full. When I walked back to the counter and told the young woman, about 16, that this was ridiculous and not the first time this had happened, she took the bag to her colleague who was at the fryer. Both women looked at me and started laughing. Also, the young employees are more concerned with chitchat than taking customers seriously. So many mistakes are being made. Maybe they should get their act together first, because you won't be seeing me at this McDonald's again.

This McDonald's used to be clean and tidy, but not anymore. The staff, 16 years old or younger, just stands around looking around instead of tidying up or cleaning. Three orders were incomplete. Next time, we'll go to a different McDonald's.

Easily accessible and good fast McDrive

No words... for very bad!!! It took a long time (25 minutes) for the cappuccinos. They were lukewarm, no spoons, no sugar. They were put down without a tray. Only an apology was given. More because I actually had to. This isn't McDonald's worthy! It wasn't busy at all, so that wasn't the reason. I won't be stopping here again unless things change drastically.

After waiting fifteen minutes, I asked at the counter where my order was. Only two cappuccinos. The employee looked surprised at the order and said she was preparing it. After five minutes, she returned with only the two coffee cups and nothing else. She put the cups on the table, apologized, and walked away. The coffee was cold and undrinkable. We won't be returning to this location. It's unworthy of a yellow M. It's a shame the minimum rating should be one star.

I placed an order at the kiosk and then had to wait an hour. Finally, I went to the counter and asked why it was taking so long, but it turned out the order had been given to someone else. I was then told they would rush the order, and then waited another 1.5 hours without receiving any compensation. Terribly poor service!

Nice food, service was less good

A very simple order: one Happy Meal with chicken nuggets and four cheese bites. Easy peasy, you'd think? But they still managed to get it wrong. Instead of the cheese bites, there were four chicken nuggets. 🤣 Not the first time it's gone wrong there.

I've been to quite a few McDonald's in my life. But this is the most disgusting McDonald's I've ever seen. There was a thick layer of grease on the floor throughout the restaurant. It hasn't been cleaned in months, it's disgusting.

A very poor order, only half was delivered. You then follow up and are told, "I'm so busy, ma'am, I didn't hear you say anything." The burgers were very sparsely topped, with one piece of pickle you had to search for, and another with two pieces of onion. The sauce was almost inapplicable, and where no mustard was supposed to be, there was mustard. The tables were very dirty, and the floor was littered with all sorts of things that had fallen earlier in the day. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've encountered this, with almost no one eating in the McDonald's itself.

Great for a drive through coffee

If you want to try something different you should order here because taking an order is already too much for those 13 year olds, if you pay the top price for that junk you also expect a bit of service so do something about that mc donalds and give those working young people there a paper round etc. and put a few adults there with a bit of catering experience.

I drive through the McDonald's drive-through with my kids, wait 20 minutes, get half my order, and then I'm told to go through the drive-through again, then wait again. I tell them to hold the order, it's cold. The manager arrives with two bags, but no, it's been reheated. I still end up with cold food, half a container of large fries, and sizzling cold hamburgers.

No soft drinks to order and no license plates, the entire system runs on a single staff member, and there are a number of questions. If your order is canceled, you can reorder. Extremely annoying. And lukewarm fries too.

What a disgrace for the name Mac Donalds. Dirty floors, fries lukewarm and limp, Big Mac lukewarm and little taste, cola with little fizz and a strange taste. I love McDonald's, but it's been different for a while now. The service at the counter is friendly. They forgot to provide sauces, straws, napkins and to differentiate between Coca-Colas (regular and light). The food was good and hot. The bathrooms are generally not clean. The playground outside should be closed. !!!! Don't let your kids go there!!!! It's super dirty. I went in with my daughter and she warned me. Cigarettes, lots of dirt, broken parts. It's not safe and it's against public health. I spoke to the manager and he said he would report it. But he didn't even leave the counter to check or close it. This is my last experience at this McDonald's.

Eating out once, arranged a babysitter and ordered food for the babysitter and children. Sauces missing, milkshake is bad (less than half filled) call them afterwards and I only have to file a complaint? If you already pay, you don't get it or just filled too loosely. Unfortunately, another bad experience at McDonald’s Oost in Almelo. We had ordered two McFlurries to pick up inside. Even before our order appeared on the screen, it was quickly clicked away, probably to keep their scores high. This left us waiting in confusion. After ten minutes, we finally saw that our ice creams had been made and were ready. Unfortunately, they remained unseen for another ten minutes, while the staff walked past without giving them out. Only after asking ourselves did we finally get them – now half melted. This is not the first time that we have experienced bad service here. Very unfortunate, because this is not how guests should feel treated. For us, this is the last time we come here.
