Meesterbakker Voskamp Veerplein in Centrum

After ordering cakes twice from other major chains, I wanted a slightly better quality. Voskamp wasn't much better priced than the other cakes. Last year I ordered a cream cake for 20 people, and this year I got the mocha cake for my daughter's birthday. They're delicious!! You can add your own text to the cake. When they see it's for a child, they decorate it accordingly. I always get a lot of compliments on the cake. Highly recommended! The bread is always delicious, too.

The tastiest apple buns and coffee rolls!

The women smoke like crazy (for hours a day, it seems), always standing in front of the shop smoking—it's very disgusting. When I think of this bakery, I don't think of delicious bread, but of bread smoked by the women who often don't wash their hands after smoking. It's a shame! I don't understand why the owner doesn't do anything about this. This place is notorious for this among my entire family and friends.

Often don't have much left in the afternoon except pigeons.

I go here every week. Their bread is great, prices are fair and the staff is kind. The only downside is that if you go later in the day some of their bread might no longer be in stock, but since you'll experience the same problem in supermarkets I can't blame them for that.

Best egg cakes from far and wide

Just picked up my weekly order of Flakkee bread. Delicious brown bread that stays fresh even in the freezer. Great shop, friendly staff, and good products.

The reviews about the oliebollen are highly exaggerated... there's no arguing about taste, but she didn't find anything special. The apple fritters, however, were delicious.

Delicious bread, good service, customer friendly and they are even willing to bake bread separately for you when you run out of choice.
