Herweijer Kwaliteitsbakkers in Holy Zuid

The quality here is very high! Iron cookies, gingerbread cake with amarena cherries, cream puffs, or bread—everything is super fresh. This is one of the best bakeries in the Netherlands. I'm not saying it's the best, but it's definitely in the top 10!

My son's birthday is coming up, and I thought I'd order a cheap cake online for his birthday party. It arrived badly damaged, and I could have cried. I went to Herweijer, and there was a really sweet man willing to help me. He made the top of the cake absolutely beautiful, with candy, fresh fruit, and other lovely accessories... in a word, wow!! So grateful for his help; I can show up at the party with this. And I'll never cheat again! From now on, I'll be coming to you for cakes: always fresh, carefully made, neat, and above all, always delicious. And to the man who helped me: thank you a thousand times over; he has no idea what that meant to me!

Great bakery, friendly staff. I even showed up an hour early once (checked the clock wrongly 😁) and was politely let in and helped! You can come earlier any time, and it's no problem at all. But closing time is closing time! They also have appointments and work to do after work, so don't be so rude and maybe leave a little earlier 🤭

At exactly 16:30 doors closed, you stand there in front of the door they look at you as if you are a ghost. Sympathy is hard to find these days, all become robots.

I only go for a filled cookie on Saturdays. I wanted something different, a hard mocha, but in the evening I opened the bag and there was a hazelnut inside. Mmm, that was a shame. It was tasty, but I was looking forward to something different. So, I'll have a filled cookie again. Less difficult to switch :-).

Beautiful thing. Super nice and helpful staff. Delicious products including my favorite "de Bossche Bol" so you no longer have to go to Den Bosch for that. Parking is free and there is enough space.

It's as if you're entering the land of your dreams, for the gourmet or Burgundian who craves all the tasty treats! The choice is huge, as much as possible is being prepared in the bakery right under your nose and you can follow it from the counter! I would say, take a look in the store and choose what you like, and take a look at the craftsmanship of the bakers themselves!? King's Day '22. Early to get tompoucejes. There was 1 customer in the store when I walked in. Around 10 employees inside. I said good morning! And then, NO ONE said anything back! I looked at everyone in surprise, but nothing, no response The only thing the lady behind the cash register said was, just tell me. That was it, I was able to pay, got the bag of goodies, and then it was quiet again. Not a nice day today or goodbye. Tompouce was delicious, but last time here.

Bakery where the service is very disappointing. I ordered a cake, it was not in the right color, different filling than promised. Have a self-composed picture made on it. there had to be an extra name with the text. In the end it became more than 5 euros more expensive, even though this had not been reported. Then had to pay for the cake twice. And when we went back, I did not get 1 full cake back because there were additional costs due to a second plate because the first one did not go well. The customer had to pay for this. I think it's scandalous that you have lost a regular customer because of this. Owner blamed customer for changing the text 8 days in advance.

I bought sauce ice cream rolls on King's Day in H v S in Schiedam. Filthy, really so dirty. The baker had kept the breadcrumb container open for a little too long. Meat could no longer be traced. And that for €2.00!!!!!!!
