The food was unpalatable, it was very dry, it was very bad, I would not go back to the restaurant, the services were a little better than the restaurant itself, I do not recommend it!!!

I was with family, the restaurant was cold. We ate with jackets on. The service was dramatic. She doesn't bring everything at once, I had to ask for many things. Food was tasty.

The stars are only for the service. The gentleman who came to take our orders was very nice and came by several times to ask if everything was OK and if we needed anything. The food was mediocre. We had to wait quite a long time. My girlfriend and I had bonfile that was served with vegetables and fries. My girlfriend received 1 small piece of receipt file. We had no vegetables, only 2 pieces of pepper and 3/4 mini potatoes cut in half. We brought cake for a party. We forgot our plates so asked for plates. At the cash register we had to pay €12.50 extra because we did not bring our own plates for the cake. This is really strange... Never experienced this before. I mean, they're just plates that we asked for.

I come all the way from Antwerp with my husband for dinner but unfortunately we are so disappointed with the customer service. The employees did not smile or nothing, we sat at the table for half an hour, no staff came by or nothing, I got up to ask for a menu and the answer was very nice, move on, we will bring maybe another 1 hour that I had to wait . Even the floor and tables weren't scandalous 😡 never again will I go back there. We came to eat at Albina restraunt, very fast service and very friendly with super tasty dishes

We ordered Etli Bread and Lahmacun, the products were the same, that is, the dough and minced meat of Etli Bread and Lahmacun were the same, only their shapes were different. It wasn't bad, but what we ate wasn't lahmacun. The teas were nice, the environment was spacious and comfortable, the staff were very hospitable, the prices were a bit expensive but okay, frankly, if I'm paying 13-15 Euros for a plate of food, I expect a small appetizer to be served. Overall we left satisfied.

We had pre-booked dinner there on Saturday, but everything was disappointing, the menus were incorrect. We had mix grill and mix chicken grill, both orders were very little, no adana, no chicken wings, they had reserved only two pieces of chicken fillet and did not let us know that it was not complete, the service was bad, we had to double everything. Waited a long time while it was empty and there were so many employees present. Came specifically for pide. Pide was not there, chicken was not there. Meat was tasteless, greasy and hard, expensive for low quality. Soup seemed good (haven't tasted it myself). €1.5 for 1 extra lovage is not normal, I think. Disappointed and therefore didn't have dessert as I didn't want to be further disappointed.

We celebrated a birthday party today. Everything was delicious. Girls were very sweet and they were cooperative. Helpful. Thank you very much!

Open buffet breakfast was more basic, plenty of choice, fresh and sourdough bread was great😍

Went here for dessert with my wife. Ordered San Sebastian cake, but it was really disappointing. The cake itself was not fresh (tasted a few days old) and the chocolate on top was simply taken from a jar of Nutella and thrown on top. In my opinion, the San Sebastian cake is absolutely not recommended!

Scandalous! We went for a drink with friends at Lawanta. I had taken a few sips of a cocktail with mint leaves and was shocked to see a caterpillar in my drink on the mint leaf. Well, that's really not possible, I'm a pregnant woman and I was throwing up all evening because of this. No more lawanta for me. Wash your vegetables well, what kind of unsanitary place is this

Ate at Lawanta yesterday. We had some complaints about the food. But it was handled very well by the owner and improved immediately. And children received ice cream afterwards as a make-up. Thank you Lawanta! Food and service were finally good. I've had bad experiences before, but I saw a clear difference.

I recently visited Lawanta restaurant and I can't help but rave about my experience. Even though they had actually closed everything late in the evening, they still prepared a delicious meal for us. This exceptional service really impressed us. The sütlac is an absolute must for dessert.

Until the day I ate at Lawanta, I had never paid €14 for a Turkish pizza in my life. The Turkish pizza was unnecessarily large, which made me feel like I was paying for quantity rather than quality. Plus it tasted more like etli pide.

Walked in on a Sunday with three hungry children. Friendly service, great atmosphere, but we will definitely come back for the authentic taste of REAL BBQ!!

Frankly speaking, today I had with my family the worst dinner I have ever had in a restaurant in the Netherlands. We ordered 2 different meat plates and it was the worst meat quality we ever had. One plate we had to return as the meat was extremely bad. Even bread provided was cold and not fresh. Service is slow but they are kind. Quality of food is bad and the price is not cheap. Not recommended.

We went there for dinner on Eid-al-Fitr, but unfortunately we had to wait 2 hours for our food. It sucked. We will never come and will not recommend it to anyone. Staff just didn't come. For the first 30 minutes we were just waiting for someone to worship our drinks. Then another hour until order is taken. Then they forgot about us. We were not comfortable at all. So we asked at the beginning if we could sit somewhere else: it was said yes as soon as a family opposite us left. They still had to clear up. Then they let others sit there. No communication among themselves. If you know that it can take a long time to eat, indicate or suggest something that we can already take. No, for us it was all just frustration.

The meal was okay. It was overpriced for what we got. We had to choose the İftar menu, you couldn't order from the menu. There was hardly any vegetarian choice. You paid per person! Almost 40€ for getting 1 water, having to share starters with the table, which are never enough for 4-5 people, and desserts different from those on the menu. It's more appearance than reality, which is a shame. The ambience was good. There was a children's play area. Furthermore, the staff was friendly. The tables are sufficiently large.

Since it was taken over the service has been much poorer. Would have preferred rice with one dish instead of fries. Well that didn't work, but I could buy it instead. No more sandwiches with dipping sauces in advance. Service is precisely in these things. The special now also contains less meat than before. One time you get grilled vegetables and the next time 1 grilled tomato with the spare ribs... We always liked coming to Meram, but I think we will go to another location.

It's scandalous that you cannot place an order by telephone for pickup, and that you then simply have to wait 15 to 30 minutes in the restaurant until it is ready. It certainly doesn't motivate me to order here. And you can't even park there. Super bad. This is really the only meram in the Netherlands that does not accept telephone orders. All other merams do this. Whatever your reason, it's just super bad. I would rather eat a well-cooked meal at a snack bar than drive back to Utrecht at 5 o'clock from a busy working day from Utrecht to Rotterdam and just want to stop by Meram in Rotterdam. That you cannot imagine that you are missing out on a lot of income if you do not accept telephone orders. You are not only amateur, but also stupid.

Price-quality ratio is not correct, portions are too small. When leaving, I ordered a cold meze for 2 people, which came mixed together, I didn't like the taste and the bread was old!

Dit was vroeger mijn favoriete restaurant, lang niet geweest. Vanavond eindelijk weer eens naar Meram....dat viel erg tegen, kaart is veranderd, bediening aan de tafel is op een enkeling na erg onprofessioneel. Alles smaakt hetzelfde, jammer weet niet of ik nog terugkom en na vandaag weet ik het zeker, hier kom ik niet meer terug, wat een slechte onprofessionele bediening.

Für mich ein gutes Restaurant. Mir hat Essen, Service und Atmosphäre gefallen. Würde ich nochmal besuchen.

Je kunt hier heerlijk uiteten. Het is een mooi restaurant om te zien en heeft vriendelijk personeel. Zeker een aanrader.

Très bel accueil et très bon service

Na een lange tijd zijn we weer gaan eten bij Meram. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en mochten plaatsnemen op het terras. Normaal zijn we gewend aan een uitgebreide menukaart bij Meram, wat het voor ons moeilijk maakte om een keuze te maken. Gelukkig hebben ze dit probleem opgelost met een kleinere menukaart. We hebben gekozen voor de pide en een adana. Vooraf kregen we vers brood uit de oven geserveerd met wat meze. Het was echt lekker, vooral het brood was echt vers en smakelijk. Later kregen we onze pide met kaas en adana. Beide gerechten waren heerlijk; we zaten zo vol dat we geen ruimte meer hadden voor een toetje. Als afsluiting kregen we Turkse thee van het huis aangeboden. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk. Wij komen zeker terug.

We kregen iets anders dan wat te besteld hadden

Na een lange tijdje weer is bij Meram geweest maar eten was niet goed gegrild en wij waren met 8 personen waarbij het eten van één persoon heel laat kwam.

Ik ging voor ontbijt buffet , maar dat was er helaas niet. De serveerster die was ook niet echt aardig want ze was gepikeerd over het feit dat ik alleen een theetje had gedronken en verder niks wilde bestellen! Eten is erg belangrijk voor mij .. ik ga dus niet mezelf gaan volproppen met eten wat ik niet lust om een serveerster een genoegen te doen 😉

Eten kwam op verschillende tijden aan. De helft van de groep moest wachten. Verder zat weinig patat bij het menu. Eten was wel lekker.

Het is een verschrikkelijke restaurant ik heb 1 uur moeten wachten op eten , ik zei waarom zo laat hij zei mevrouw pak zelf is toch niet normaal echt slechte service

Heerlijk gegeten, vriendelijke medewerkers

Afgelopen zondag zijn we gaan eten bij Meram. Na een warme ontvangst mochten we kiezen of we buiten of binnen wilden zitten. We hebben gekozen om buiten te zitten vanwege het heerlijke weer. We hebben vooraf Meze hapjes genomen en als hoofdgerecht de Meram Special. De Meze werd geserveerd met Turks brood. Er waren ongeveer vijf soorten Meze, wat het moeilijk maakte om te kiezen welke het lekkerst was. We hadden ook Sigara Böreği, die lekker krokant van buiten was en royaal gevuld met fetakaas. Al met al waren de voorgerechten prima. Als hoofdgerecht hebben we een schotel gekregen met houtskool gegrilde Turkse kebabspiezen met vlees, gehakt, kip en lamskotelet. De smaak was verrukkelijk. Het leek alsof ik uit eten was in Turkije. De eerste indruk doet denken aan een traditioneel Anatolisch Turks restaurant, maar geloof me, ik heb cheesecakes en hamburgers voorbij zien komen. Dus als afsluiter hebben we de San Sebastian cheesecake genomen, wat ook een perfecte afsluiter was. Na het eten kwam de bedrijfsleider langs. Hij vroeg zeer vriendelijk of alles naar wens was en we hebben van het huis Turkse thee aangeboden gekregen. We hebben zeker genoten en zullen vaker komen. Bedankt voor de ervaring, Meram!

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen, heerlijk gegeten, personeel was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk vooral meneer Zeki.

Weer heerlijk gegeten en ontzettend goed geholpen door Zeki en het team Meram zuid. Blijven terugkomen voor een heerlijke maaltijd en goede service!!

Leuke restaurant met een familie sfeer. Je voelt je er thuis. Het eten is er verse en lekker. Ik heb er goed van genoten. Ook het personeel is er netjes en correct. Vond de verse munt thee lekker en een goed gebakken Dorade. Heerlijk genieten van het moment en dat gevoel krijgt je hier. Top In Rotterdam zuid.

Hele fijne plek om als koppel sisha te poffen. Heel vriendelijk en persoonlijk personeel! Qua eten is de pide mijn favoriet qua eten is er altijd heel lekker.

Op het moment toen we kwamen was er niks georganiseerd. De tafels buiten waren niet schoon gemaakt er waren geen servetten geen tafel nummers en geen bestek. We werden veels te laat geholpen, het duurde te lang voor dat onze bestellingen kwamen, een bon van onze bestelling was ook kwijt waardoor we langer dan 40 minuten gingen wachten en we werden niet geïnformeerd dat ons bestelling kwijt was. Rond de 22:00 werden er stickers op de tafels geplakt terwijl er al mensen buiten zaten de kussens van de stoelen werden rond 22/23:00 gezet.
