Ordered here again yesterday and have also eaten here before. It really keeps getting better here. As far as I'm concerned, the best burger joint in the IJmond region. Highly recommended.

A very bad business, owner threatened children, today he threatened to hit me, bad cold food, a very bad business

I placed an order through Thuisbezorgd and paid for it immediately. After waiting approximately 30 minutes, I received an email informing me that my order had been cancelled. What made the experience even more disappointing was that the restaurant then appeared as closed, and repeated attempts to contact them by phone went unanswered. There was no explanation provided for the cancellation and no communication from the restaurant regarding the issue. If the restaurant is unable to fulfill orders, customers should be informed promptly rather than being left waiting. Good communication and reliable service are essential, especially when customers have already paid for their orders. Unfortunately, this experience was frustrating and disappointing, and I hope the restaurant improves its customer service and order management in the future.

Today I received two burgers that were not served warm. The black buns were no longer soft. It is a real shame, because Mes Burger is certainly the best burger joint in Beverwijk and the surrounding area. I live 5 minutes away, but these burgers had been off the grill for at least 15 minutes before they were delivered. I understand that it can be busy, but then make sure the customer actually gets hot food. At €21 for two burgers, that should at least be the expectation. When hot, they are definitely worth that €21. I order my burgers from Mes Burger as my standard.

I ordered from Mes Burger Factory for the first time a while ago and was really excited back then, especially the Cheesylicious burger was amazing. Four types of cheese that literally dripped off it… pure enjoyment. I ordered again today and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I didn't recognize the burger at all anymore. None of those four types of cheese could be found; just a thin slice of aged cheese. After contacting them by phone, they insisted that there *were* four types of cheese on it, but I am still looking for them. The burger itself was well-seasoned, hence the second star. But everything else was disappointing: soggy sweet potato fries, a cold döner kebab bun, ordered Sourcy water, got Spa Blue, and a burger that totally failed to meet expectations. A real shame. For me, it is a reason to go looking for a good burger joint again.

A regular customer for years, but it is getting worse and worse. The food is often a mess, the service is getting worse, and now deliveries aren't arriving either, and they have the nerve to lie about it on the phone. Never ordering from here again.

I used to get here quite often; made another attempt today. Firstly, when I arrived: no sweet potato. Secondly, no homemade ice tea either (I don't mind this as much), but the burgers aren't the burgers from MESS Burgers anymore... I got a burger in a bun for almost the price; it was €16.25, but you're better off getting a burger at Febo... This is really disappointing if you're used to the old burgers.

As usual, had a tasty meal, good portion. The food was still warm/hot when it arrived, the delivery driver arrived 10 minutes earlier than the indicated time. Great. 👌🏼🍔

I placed a large order at Tatasteel tonight for a large group of colleagues. We used to order twice a week for 10 to 15 people, and the quality was always excellent. We always ordered the Fatmesh burger, which was always very good. You got a thick hamburger with a large piece of chicken fillet and two large slices of turkey bacon. After a long time, we ordered from here again, and what a disappointment! The burgers came on an old bun. The burger was almost black and cooked far too long. The piece of chicken fillet was nowhere to be found on half the burgers, and the bacon was a slice cut in half. In short, it was just bad and not tasty! It's a shame because the quality used to be excellent, the prices they charge for a burger these days are already very expensive and if you specialize in burgers and you deliver it like this then you really should be deeply ashamed a burger from McDonald's that you leave for 3 hours was even better quality for the money you spend here you can just expect a good product but I think that is no longer feasible for this store again very unfortunate we and our team are looking for another restaurant I have to mention if you look at the old photos you see a thick piece of meat a large piece of chicken a lekler bun and lots of bacon, well all that did not apply to us unfortunately the prices of this place have gone up considerably and the quality has gone down and that is a shame I would not recommend this to anyone else very unfortunate....

Ordered through Thuisbezorgd at 8:00 PM. It's now 11:00 PM and still haven't received any food. I've tried calling six times, but no one answers. No communication whatsoever. And then, at 11:00 PM, I'm left without food. Truly unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. This is absolutely terrible service.

Warning: New owner, old reviews no longer apply! Mes's Burger was once the best burger joint in the area, but now it's honestly the worst. The delivery drivers often forget entire orders, the burgers are missing the advertised ingredients, and the quality is extremely poor. From stale bread to fries that taste like dirty frying fat, guaranteed to be delivered cold an hour late. If the new management reads this: Go back to Mesut's old formula, or your place will soon go bankrupt.

For €13.95, you expect a burger like the photos in the app. What I got was nothing like that. Sloppily put together, sauce everywhere except on the burger, and the meat almost browned. The presentation was subpar. Moreover, this isn't the first time the quality has been disappointing. For this price, you expect care and quality. This feels more like a snack bar burger than a premium burger. Very disappointing.

The new owners are keeping a tighter grip on things, and the interior is changing a bit every day; it's cleaner and more spacious.

Very bad, delivery 45 minutes late, more than half the order missing. Cold fries, once and never again!!! Half the ingredients were missing from the burger.

We ordered two Italian Touch burgers and two Fat Mess burgers. One of the Fat Mess burgers had chicken on it, the other didn't. When I called to explain, I was immediately told it wasn't supposed to have chicken on it. Their own website and Thuisbezorgd website both state that it does. After much discussion and consultation with his colleague, it turned out they don't do this, while burger two did have chicken. After I hung up, it turned out the bun on one of the Italian Touch burgers wasn't even baked. This was terrible, and especially the discussion... never again.

Very poor quality and terrible service.
I waited 2.5 hours for my order. Both burgers arrived without any gorgonzola, the food was cold, and the fries portion was ridiculously small for €4.50. When I called, the guy on the phone was ironic and unprofessional, he was more interested in asking (from which country I’m come from.. ) He then started joking and pretending he didn’t know which order or company I was talking about. It’s just a circus. The delivery driver said he’s the only driver, which explains the delays. Clearly badly managed. I gave them a second chance and regretted it. Never again.

Joint in my burger I ordered a burger, thinking it would be delicious. I took a bite and tasted something very bitter. I looked inside my burger and saw a joint. I immediately threw it away. The fries were cold and very dry. Never again.

Never again I ordered a double-mess burger but only got one meat patty, and they forgot my coke. The service was terrible; it felt like a small child was calling. I wouldn't recommend it.

What happened to this place? When it first opened, the portions were generous and everything arrived as ordered and hot. I stopped ordering from this place a few months ago because I noticed the quality and portion sizes were getting worse. I considered taking a chance tonight, hoping it would be better, but I was severely disappointed. First, the drink I ordered didn't arrive. They offered me a soft drink of my choice, which was fine, even though it cost less than the original drink I ordered. When I opened the bag of goodies, the portion of fries was tiny. Furthermore, the double smash burger I ordered was only one patty and thinner than a 5 euro note. I really can't recommend this place; the portions are tiny, the food always arrives wrong or missing items—avoid it.

I've come to expect better from this place, so it's a shame it's gone downhill so badly. We waited an hour and a half for our food, even though we live practically around the corner. I called, and all they answered was a "Hello," and an apology wasn't even an option. When the food finally arrived, the fries were cold and a mix of stale stuff that had been in the fryer too long. Even though the burgers were completely broken and cold after delivery, they didn't taste bad at all. Maybe it's better to just go in person from now on instead of ordering in. Too bad, guys.

This was my favorite burger when they first opened, but now it's just mediocre. It seems like there's a new owner or team, and it's definitely noticeable. The worst part is the customer service: they tell me over the phone that an order can't be canceled if the ingredients are missing. Yesterday I ordered a veggie burger, but after 15 minutes I got a call saying they didn't have any veggie burgers. When I asked to cancel the order, they said it wasn't possible. It's a real disaster and incredibly frustrating. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant and I will definitely never return.

What a disappointment. With the first bite, I felt something strange between my teeth—yep, a hair. Yuck! That's absolutely the last thing you want to find in your food. My appetite was instantly gone. I understand that things can go wrong, but a hair in your food is simply unacceptable. Hygiene seems to be a non-issue here. Never again—I'd rather eat a frozen burger at home than ever come back here. (On the other hand, the dog thought it was quite tasty! 🫠)

The delivery driver wanted me to come downstairs to pick up the order. (I live in an apartment.) I couldn't go downstairs because I have a small child. It was very strange that the delivery driver asked me to do this. He wasn't very customer-friendly either. The food was fine, though.

My order went straight in the bin. What's been going on lately is poor management and a lack of empathy for the food and the customers. My order arrived 40 minutes early, which is unusual for Mess Burger. When I unpacked my hamburger, I understood. The burger was soggy, the meat had shrunk and was tough. The cheese had completely spilled over and burned, everything was lukewarm. My sweet potato fries were old and had been reheated in the deep fryer. I live two minutes away. It's a shame Mess Burger has been getting so many bad reviews lately, and there's no response.

Always wait over an hour for food. Now it turns out they're often not even open yet, even though they're available on Thuiszorgd. They've forgotten the sauce several times, and the order arrives lukewarm.

As a true burger lover, I was pleasantly surprised by the double cheeseburger from Mes’s Burger. The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the unique Mess Sauce really gave it a delicious twist. The fries were also crispy and well seasoned, just the way you want them. Definitely recommended for every burger fan! I will definitely come back here.😍

I don’t know where to start, but this was a big NO. The bread? Apparently it comes from the Turkish bakery around the corner, and believe me — it tasted like it had been there for a few days. Dry, tough and totally out of place for a burger joint that takes itself seriously. And the meat… well, if you can even call it meat. Tasteless, soggy, not a shred of seasoning or quality. I really felt like I was chewing on something that came off the conveyor belt at a fast food factory. Absolutely worthless. For a place that calls itself “Messburger,” this was one big mess. You might as well throw a cheap hamburger in the microwave yourself — it probably tastes even better. Definitely not recommended. A waste of your money, your appetite and your time.

Friday June 20th we decided to order burgers from Mess Burgers. The order went super smooth, burgers were delivered quickly and tasted really delicious. We will definitely order again soon. Thanks Mess burgers for this delicious treat.

Since the renovation/takeover, the quality has dropped significantly. What used to be the best burger joint for me has now really been written off. Cheap bread, bad & little meat. I want the old mes' burger back, with the Turkish texts on the walls :,)

This was almost 5 stars for me last year I don't know what happened but I assume new owner? The atmosphere is gone to a cold white with metal look the bread of the burgers is no longer edible. The wrap that I heard several people rave about and also liked myself is gone... I called this one of the best burger places when I talked about it with family and friends now it is equal to McDonald's/burger king

I found out through home delivery that the business has a new owner, previously always delicious food and top service, but now I'm just crying, ordered something here last Sunday and I had to wait 3 hours for the food, I called 10 times and my friend didn't answer 20 times! Once the food arrived, it was super cold, soggy buns (they exchanged the buns for cheap buns from the supermarket) and the meat was rock hard. In short, never again for us, if you want to see more bad reviews, take a look at home delivery, there are plenty of complaints 🙂

Fries tasty with skin, nice and warm and with "medium" still a large portion. We were not very fond of the burgers, there was little sauce and the meat tasted a lot like mutton, which we did not like. Fat burgers. Delivery person super friendly. Just not to our taste, too bad.

I have eaten many burgers from places in the top ten, but the burgers and fries from Mes burger factory stand head and shoulders above the rest. Definitely worth driving from Rotterdam to Amsterdam or Beverwijk for delicious burgers and fries!!

What a great cheeseburger this was! Delicious grilled meat, good temperature and cooking method, tasty sauce, crispy bun. Additions of jalapeno and bacon delicious. Fries well cooked and still crispy. Very friendly and helpful on the phone. In short, great!

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very nice, they even gave us extra napkins and wet wipes. The toilet was clean and the place is cozy. We had some leftovers so they offered to put it in a bag. Very nice definitely a recommendation!

Daarnaast, heb je voldoende mogelijkheden om jou burger met diverse toppings aan te passen naar jouw wensen! De Mes’s Burger is een aanrader met de speciale Mes saus en heerlijke toppings! Daarnaast, is de verse friet lekker krokant en onmisbaar bij je burger! Ik zou zeggen probeer het uit en je zult zoals ons een vaste klant worden! Tot slot, is het personeel ook super aardig en behulpzaam!

We hebben vandaag samen met onze dochter van 3 heerlijk gegeten bij Mesut. We bestellen hier regelmatig via thuisbezorgd; altijd lekker.. maar op locatie is het toch anders; we werden uitstekend geholpen aan door Mesut zelf; een goede gastheer.. aanrader!

Eten besteld via thuisbezorgd. Bestel al langer bij mes en de burgers zijn top. Per ongeluk was er iets fout gegaan bij de bestelling wat natuurlijk wel eens kan gebeuren. Nadat ik gebeld had, werd er binnen 20 minuten de juiste burgers geleverd plus de frietjes. We maken allemaal wel eens een foutje, maar super opgelost en super vriendelijke service. 😁😁

Heerlijk gegeten van de zoete aardappelfriet en burger. We waren erg laat voor het theater dus het werd in een handig bak gedaan om mee te nemen, super service!

Een niet al te grote en gezellige hamburger factory van Mes. Er zijn iets van 6 tafels binnen. Super aardige bediening, klantvriendelijk. Heel erg lekker gegeten. Je kunt zien waar eten wordt voorbereid. Over deze zaak is goed over nagedacht. Er zitten twee grote borden waar bezoekers een tekst hebben achtergelaten. Je kunt de passie van de eigenaar Mesut voor deze zaak duidelijk voelen. Eten smaakt echt voortreffelijk. Er is een zelf bedachte saus op de hamburgers dat heet Mes saus. Maar ook andere hamburger sauzen zijn ook aanwezig. Gebakken aardappels zijn met kundigheid gebakken met vol smaak. Ze leveren ook thuis via thuisbezorgd. Voor een hamburger speciaal zaak zeker niet duur ook. Place to go. Nergens anders zulke lekkere hamburgers gegeten.

Na dat ik de eigenaar te hebben gesproken is mijn teleurstelling van de dag ervoor helemaal weggenomen. De burger was wreed lekker en is zeker een aanrader. Als ik mijn burgers elke keer minimaal zo krijg of nog lekkerder dat zal ik zeker regelmatig bestellen. Mes's burgers hou jou standaarden hoog zodat veel mensen van jou burgers kunnen genieten. Zoete aardappel was veel beter dan de eerste keer. Bedankt voor het heerlijke eten!!
