Mexicaans Restaurant Sentido in Wijk 00 Bergen op Zoom-Oude stad en omgeving

All around great experience at this Mexican restaurant. We showed up with a group of 16 and they managed to get us all into one long table and even were flexible on changing the reservation time with short notice. Service was impeccable and the food well chosen since we decided to let them pick a sampling of starters and mains to share amongst the group. We had a good time and everyone loved the food. Margaritas a must btw!

Via Tripadvisor hier terecht gekomen tijdens ons bezoek aan Bergen op Zoom. Leuke, frisse zaak met enthousiaste en vriendelijke bediening. Word regelmatig gevraagd of alles naar wens is zonder dat dit opdringerig wordt. Het personeel heeft er duidelijk plezier in en is trots op de zaak, dat is tegenwoordig wel een anders. Eten is prima en van goede kwaliteit, wij (twee stellen) hadden de shared dinning planken met voor en hoofdgerecht. Alles werd netjes uitgelegd en na de voorgerechten werd er gevraagd of we nog wat tijd tussen de hoofdgerechten wilde of dat het al mocht worden neergezet. Gerechten bij overige gasten zagen er ook goed verzorgt uit. Al met al een prima eetervaring en een aanrader.

Eerste maal eens mexicaans gaan eten in sentido, Was heel lekker we hebben scharing dining genomen dan krijg je zowat van alles op de kaart om eens te proeven. Ideaal met vrienden.heel vriendelijk personeel die bij het eten tijd nemen om alles uit teleggen is voor herhaling vatbaar.

The food was absolutely delicious! We opted for the three-course dinner. All the small dishes were on the menu, highly recommended. The staff were very friendly. We would love to eat there again.

The food was truly delicious, the service excellent. The pineapple dessert was the best dessert my girlfriend and I have ever had. The atmosphere was lovely, highly recommended!

Simply exceptional Mexican food. Perfectly sized portions, spicy on request, and beautifully presented. Both the service and kitchen are young and efficient, but above all, professional. Not pushy. A wide selection of drinks, all at a reasonable price. We'd happily return to this restaurant, which is also where we were recommended.

We went here for the first time tonight, and wow, it certainly wasn't our last. The food was incredibly delicious; we couldn't stop looking at each other with every bite, gazing at how delicious it was. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was also great that the chefs came to our table! And it's great for those with nut allergies; they were incredibly helpful and always consulted, so I could enjoy my (delicious) dessert with peace of mind. Highly recommended!

Shared dining menu is very tasty and cozy to eat with everyone. The service is very friendly. We had chosen main course and dessert, but got a starter and main course, which we thought was fine. However, we also got a dessert, free, as a service from the business. Well solved, top!

An absolute recommendation. The food was the best we've had in town. Simply delicious, and the service was very attentive and friendly. It's a shame we're from Germany, otherwise we'd eat here more often. But if we visit again, this restaurant will be our first choice.

We were with 5 people last Sunday and were assigned the cozy round table. The share dining planks were a success, especially because we could not make a choice, this was a real recommendation. The young friendly staff explained extensively and perfectly what was on the plank. Really super tasty, something for everyone. A living room atmosphere and certainly not the last time!

Very tasty food. Enough vegetarian choice. The restaurant is small and therefore also cozy and pleasant. The decor could be a bit more Mexican, in terms of colors and plants. We enjoyed it!

We have been there for dinner. The service was excellent. You can order from the menu or you can order shared dinner where you can try different things. We tried the shared dinner and it was a good choice. The food was delicious and it was explained well what we have been served with. Dessert was brilliant 👏 It was a really nice experience and the location is on the agenda for the next visit in Bergen op Zoom.

A small restaurant close to the city centre of Bergen op Zoom. I am not sure this is an authentic Mexican restaurant. Probably, Mexican fusion restaurant. The spare ribs was delicious and good quality. Friendly and attentive service.

In this nice and cozy Mexican restaurant in Bergen op Zoom, city center, you can order from the normal menu delicious dishes but this place also serves the shared dining concept where you can share dishes with everybody at the table. We tried the shared dining with 2 courses and it was amazing! very fresh homemade sauces and the deserts where incredible. I really recommend this place!

Afgelopen week heerlijk gegeten bij Mexicaans restaurant Sentido in Bergen op Zoom. Bij dit restaurant kan je gewoon de kaart allerlei gerechten bestellen of kiezen voor het Shared Dining concept, waarbij het eten op een grote plank wordt geserveerd en je dit lekker kan delen. Je kan kiezen uit verschillende gangen. Wij hadden 2 gangen (hoofd en na-gerecht) en was echt super lekker met verse huisgemaakte sausjes erbij. Ook hele professionele bediening die alles duidelijk uitleggen, echt een aanrader.

Ai caramba, this was delicious. From the Mexican Mule to the pulled jackfruit fajita that you could get extra spicy. Was perfectly seasoned and a great portion! Dessert was therefore no longer an option. Very friendly and polite employees, we will definitely come back here again!

Kwalitatief zeer goed restaurant. De focus ligt overduidelijk op kwaliteit. Houd er wel rekening mee dat het daardoor, samen met een kleine keuken en kleinere bezetting, wel wat langer kan duren. Geen probleem maar houd er rekening mee, het is het wachten absoluut waard. De shared dining platter kan ik van harte aanbevelen. Je hebt dan van alles wat in perfecte porties. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De jongeman die ons bediende heeft ondanks zijn leeftijd duidelijk een hospitality training gehad en oog voor detail. Bordje met een vlek? Direct terug ik haal even een nieuwe. Zeer bewonderenswaardig. Ik kom zeker graag terug!

Very good quality restaurant. The focus is clearly on quality. Please keep in mind that this, together with a small kitchen and smaller occupancy, may take a little longer. No problem but keep in mind, it's totally worth the wait. I can highly recommend the shared dining platter. You then have a little bit of everything in perfect portions. The service is very friendly and helpful. Despite his age, the young man who served us clearly had hospitality training and an eye for detail. Plate with a stain? Right back, I'll get a new one. Very admirable. I would definitely like to come back!

Reserved online and indicated that you have allergies. This has been clearly read and communicated to the staff. Allergies are no problem, super taken into account. For some time now I have been presented with a dessert containing different things. Super friendly service with good and clear explanations about the dishes. Highly recommended for a pleasant and relaxing meal.

Delicious food and super friendly staff

We had made a reservation for Saturday evening. That was necessary. We had a nice seat by the window. But when you sit in the restaurant, you are in a tight spot. Starter was the pork belly. This one was tasty. Just like the cheese fondue. The main course, the fajita, was decent. The chicken egg could have been seasoned a little more. The service is friendly. Maybe a little too formal.

Waanzinnig lekker gegeten. De shared dining is echt een aanrader, van alles wat. Heel leuk opgediend. Personeel legt alles goed en duidelijk uit. Wel een beetje lang wachten op de gerechten. Nadeel vind ik dat de tafeltjes erg dicht bij elkaar staan. Het restaurant is niet zo groot en als het vol zit dan is het super rumoerig.

Sentido zou ik zeker aanraden. lekker eten goede bediening heel vriendelijk en ook als je vragen had wat het was wist ze zeker bepaalde dingen aan te raden. Een dikke 10 en ga zeker nog terug🙂

What a nice place! I've been here several times, both for drinks and to eat. Together with a friend who is in a wheelchair, we gained access without any problems. The staff were very helpful and moved a few chairs aside so everything fit properly. We enjoyed a delicious coffee and a delicious mocktail, both perfectly prepared. We also ate here a few times, and the food was very tasty every time. The service was excellent, with waiters who clearly explained what was on our plate. Highly recommended!

Een gezellige avond met heerlijk eten bij Sentido! Op zaterdagavond zijn we met zijn zessen gaan eten bij Sentido. We zaten aan de ronde tafel. Dit vonden wij een fijne plek om te zitten. De sfeer in het restaurant was knus en gezellig. We namen allemaal een voor- en hoofdgerecht. Iedereen nam iets anders en we waren allemaal positief verrast over het eten. Ook de wijn was van prima kwaliteit. Degene die nog plek hadden, namen een dessert en ook die vielen in de smaak. De bediening was erg vriendelijk. Wij komen zeker terug!

Just amazing food, quality service with a smile, and a bustling atmosphere. It was kind of hard to hear my date sitting across from me, with how loud it was. Not the music, but the people. I don't even think there was any music, I couldn't tell. Regardless, wonderful service and compliments to the chefs.

We were in the area on business and happened to go for dinner at the Sentido. I was overwhelmed! I don't know if I've ever had such a delicious meal. And the service was also super friendly. The boss also chatted with us after the meal. A super, nice young man! I can only warmly recommend the restaurant. I hope that we will be there again next year so that we can go again!!! We arrived late and were still served nicely, the food was also very good. Especially the spareribs! Super well seasoned and falls off the bone before it reaches your mouth. Cocktails were also great.

Delicious food, they have many tasty dishes and full vegetarian options!! The shared dining is highly recommended. The service is top notch, very nice, attentive and careful young people. The ambiance is very nice and colorful. If I have a tip, it is not to take on large groups. We have been there twice, once without a large group next to it and the next time with 12 people who were very noisy next to it, which certainly diminished the experience. People at the bar waiting for their table + the large group + the fact that it is a small, noisy space made it less intimate and cozy for us. But again, the food was delicious and without the group next door it was absolutely great!

A lot has been done to convey the Mexican feeling. The food is colorful, intense, tasty and beautifully served. The most impressive thing about the evening is the explanation given by the young lady who introduces the courses with great passion. Gran complimento to chef and waiter.🇲🇽

Went out for dinner with my husband at the Mexican restaurant Sentido. What I immediately noticed is that the tables are close together. Too close for my liking. We looked at the menu and since the table next to us had ordered a shared dining plank, we thought... that looks nice, we'll order that too. You will then receive various small starters. That was a good choice. It tasted good. And it is also a pleasant way to eat. We also opted for a shared plank for the main course. That was also tasty. Unfortunately, we only noticed later that they had forgotten to serve us the sauces. We had a nice meal here, but we didn't think the menu was so extensive that we said to each other, we have now eaten the best on the menu. That is a reason for us not to go back here. Also we didn't think it had a Mexican atmosphere, but just a small restaurant. In short: excellent food, nice service, nice restaurant, fairly limited menu with normal prices.

Wow people, Bergen op Zoom doesn't know how happy they can be with this Mexican! After living in Mexico for a while, I know something about that cuisine. Service: young but attentive, helpful and looking forward to it. Most important: the chef is excellent, choice is relatively limited but that is a good thing. He knows what he's doing! Tacos with shrimp are delicious, taquitos with pork neck wow, going to taste it. They indicate that they are Mexican with a Dutch twist, that's right, I have never seen violet in Mexico, LOL, in NL it means ^ I pay a lot of attention to your food!!

I have already had a delicious meal twice, where my long list of allergies that was not known to them in advance was perfectly taken into account! The last time I went for the shared dining 3-course menu, where my expectation was that with my list of allergies this was either not possible, or there would be little left over that I could have. The owner came to our table beforehand to discuss everything thoroughly. I can only say that it was really perfectly taken care of! The shared dining menu is very extensive and a real treat! There is a luxurious and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. We indicated that the corridors could go straight one after the other. There was still quite some time in between. This made it a nice evening program with plenty of time to enjoy the delicious food. An absolute must!

The taste of Mexico can only be felt in photos. For 30 eu I definitely expected something better than pancake tacos

Klein, knus ingericht restaurantje. Fijne ambiance. Wij kozen voor het drie gangen verrassingsmenu van de chef en kunnen dit echt aan iedereen aanraden. Heerlijk Mexicaans eten, met verse ingrediënten. Bij iedere gang kwam de chef-kok aan tafel even persoonlijk toelichten wat hij gemaakt had en serveerde. Voor – en hoofdgerecht waren heerlijk, maar het nagerecht overtrof echt alles. Ik heb een fijn nieuw adres ontdekt in Bergen op Zoom en ga er zeer zeker terugkomen. Compliment voor deze jonge chef-kok/ uitbater.

The service was excellent. However, we were very dissatisfied with the amount of food served. We ordered the tasting menu for two people (main course + dessert) and they brought us a tray of 4 varieties with minimum quantities, for €70. When the waiter asked us, we told him our surprise and dissatisfaction with the amount served. The restaurant's reaction to our discontent was quick and highly satisfactory, so we were satisfied.

The atmosphere is not really Mexican, but the food (we had the three-course menu) was delicious. The only thing that could be improved is the Sligro biscuit with the coffee. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely come back here.

Actually no room, but we arranged a table for 4. Service is enthusiastic and very service-oriented. Completely full tonight, but our drinks and starter arrived quickly. A board to share and the same for main course and dessert. We enjoyed!! And they will definitely return from Zeeland. Thank you team sentido for our wonderful evening.

Great Mexican food. You can immediately taste that the chef makes everything himself. Everything tastes great and if you like it spicy, please pass us on. Hartje Vastenavend very quick and delicious meal. Besides the fixed Lent menu, a dish without peppers could be made for me during this busy period. The owner is very hospitable, involved and friendly. We will definitely come by again in normal clothes.

We have had a delicious meal there three times now. The first time we thought it was bland when they had just opened, but the last 2 times you could indicate whether it could be spicy. And then it really tasted good! Great, there is something for everyone. The Mexican bitterballen are recommended, they are really tasty. Staff is very friendly and cheerful. I find the interior cozy and not overly busy.

Very freshly prepared! Nachos are baked, not bought. Everything tastes wonderful! Meat (chicken) is very tender and well grilled. Vegetables are crispy and fried crispy. Service is nice and very friendly!
