What a nice (informal) place and delicious food!

Tasty food! Simple but good dishes and where else do you eat so extremely cheap? It's a mess inside but then really but maybe has something somewhere! Not a mainstream restaurant and that makes it surprising

If you want to enjoy yourself, go to Mi-Yao..

Being able to sit at the bar while watching the chef live at work - what an experience! Multitasking at the highest level, and yet always getting that fantastically delicious food served perfectly on time. What art. This restaurant is truly one of a kind.

Cozy restaurant, delicious food. Really, the seating area next to the toilets was far from comfortable. Unfortunately the staff was slow to serve drinks.

As a Japanese person, I approve! The food is a fusion of Thai, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese, and it was nice. Since moving to the Netherlands, I’ve been shocked to find so many places that are overly expensive, but Mi-Yao was worth the price. It would’ve been 5 stars if the bathroom had been a bit cleaner!

The food, service and atmosphere are amazing! Josephine is truly a master chef and you have to try her specialities!

Nice surprise this little restaurant. One woman in the open kitchen and one boy serving ensure that delicious dishes are served. Good quantities, nicely seasoned and fresh. And very affordable after all. We will be back!

We went to eat here based on the many positive reviews and oooh, what a party! Super delicious food, very nice people and beautiful murals. Highly recommended! Be sure to try the yuzu style oysters. Even if you are not a fan of oysters, this is a fresh, fruity, savory treat.

I had sent an email for a reservation for tonight. Received a polite answer that they do not work with reservations. Could just drop by. Just spent 25 minutes in the car with my family to stand in front of a closed door. People are on holiday. It would have been nice if they had shared that in the email. Sloppy and disappointing, because we were really looking forward to Korean.

I have been dreaming about that curry! We will come back soon 😍

We streken neer tijdens een warme dag voor een snelle hap. We waren de enigen, dus we werden snel geholpen. De kelner leunde ontspannen tegen een tegen een tafel en maakte een gemakkelijk babbeltje terwijl de chef gemoedelijk toekeek vanuit een open keuken. We kregen het gevoel alsof we in iemand thuis waren uitgenodigd. Het eten was er snel. Het was lekker en betaalbaar. Ik had de koreaanse bloemkool. Ik raad een ieder die hier komt eten om naast een hoofdmaaltijd wel ook een side dish te nemen. Met de voortreffelijke spring rolls en wat rijst erbij had ik precies genoeg. De koffie na was volmaakt. We waren het er over eens- dit bezoek was voor herhaling vatbaar. Het is een uitstekend alternatief voor een bezoek aan een snackbar voor iemand die een snelle hap behoeft vóór of na een bioscoop- of theaterbezoek. Tot de volgende keer!

Lange tijd geleden dat we zo heerlijk gegeten hebben. Verrast door de smaken die goed op elkaar zijn afgestemd. Porties waren voor ons voldoende. Personeel ook zeer vriendelijk.

Incredible! When walking past the street it looks really dark and closed but once inside... you are transported to Asia! The waiter is very friendly and knows his stuff... and boy can the chef cook! She is amazing! We ordered 4 oysters to start - 2 house recipe and 2 yuzu - the house recipe was sooooooo good we ordered 4 more!! Shucked, presented and seasoned beautifully with a knockout sauce! We were seriously impressed with her shucking skills, a million times better than most Amsterdam seafood restaurants! Petje af! We also ordered the spicy squid salad, dried red crispy pork and Korean fried cauliflower. All awesome. We mentioned that we love spicy so the chef came over and offered us some extra chilli powder which lifted the dishes immensely 🔥🔥🔥 Since everything was so good (and we only initially came for a drink and a snack hahahahahaha!) we also ordered a Mango Sticky Rice. Gone in 60 seconds... My husband's words "it's been a long time since we left a restaurant with big smiles like this!" Seriously, this place is so good. We will be back ASAP!!!!

Cute place with lots of different Asian foods. It's a bit 'hit-and-miss', most dishes are reasonable(red and green curry), few were good(sticky rice mango, fish cakes) and few were bland (fresh springrolls lacked taste, sauce also not like any traditional Vietnamese sauce). 1 girl serving has to run to keep everyone satisfied. Maybe serve some prawn crackers or similar to keep people satisfied while waiting (long). I would say for the price it's quite okay, but not the truly Asian flavors.

Nothing bad, fresh, but nothing exceptional either. For this level of quality the price is too high.

Erg lekker eten, als je van Aziatisch houdt. Wel wat kleine porties helaas, dus toch echt per persoon meerdere gerechten bestellen (waardoor de prijs toch wel snel oploopt). Maar hoe dan ook: wel zeer smakelijk. Redelijk klein restaurant, dus al snel vol.

Aziatisch zoals het moet zijn. Crispy, spicy, origineel. De ingrediënten zijn top, met smaak en liefde bereid en geserveerd

De nieuwe chef is een aanwinst! Afgelopen woensdag super lekker gegeten. Het was druk maar gezellig. We komen snel terug.

Eerlijk gezegd een van de beste restaurants van Amersfoort, niet alleen weet het personeel precies wat ze doen en waar ze het over hebben, is het eten en de locatie voortreffelijk! Het kokos dessert is het beste wat ik in tijden gehad heb, gemaakt door een woest aantrekkelijke dame!

Zeer kundig personeel, heerlijk eten en altijd een aantrekkelijk persoon aan het werk.

Had a very good experience! Food was tasty, cheap (multiple dishes below €10), it was very cozy and pretty, and friendly waiters. Plenty of veggie options too. We also got more rice when we asked for it so portion size was good. Definitely recommend!

Super leuk, klein restaurant waar je lekkere echt Aziatische gerechten krijgt zoals je ze ook in Azië zou kunnen krijgen. Heerlijk!

We hebben met z'n tweeën zo’n vijf gerechten gedeeld en elk gerecht was heerlijk: vers en extreem veel smaak. Aanrader dus! 😁

Leuk, klein restaurant met lekkere gerechten en goede bediening. Wisten goed rekening te houden met allergenen. Goed om te zien hoe de twee mannen alles draaiend houden.

Dit is fijn eten in Amersfoort. Heerlijke gerechten om samen te delen. De ribs en de saté dikke aanraders, maar eigenlijk is alles super lekker. Het vereassingdessert was ook heerlijk. Prijs kwaliteit meer dan in orde.

Net naar amersfoort verhuisd maar dit is bij lange na het beste eten wat ik nog besteld heb. scherp geprijsd en erg attente service.

Met een overnachting in Amersfoort de keuze op deze leuke, knusse eetlocatie laten vallen. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is fantastisch. Menukaart gericht op de Aziatische keuken. Gerechten zeer smaakvol, bijv. de paddestoelen won ton. De soep heeft als basis een lekkere kruidige, krachtige bouillon. Hoofdgrerechten (beiden curry) zeer smaakvol, zeer goede kwaliteit voor lage prijs. Toetje als lekkere afronder. Zeer tevreden de zaak verlaten. Voor mensen met een koemelkallergie een zeer geschikte plek.

We kwamen laat aan, rond 20uur, maar werden vriendelijk onthaald. Het eten was snel klaar, was goed van smaak! We hebben erg genoten van de aziatische tapas.

Dit is werkelijk een subliem zaakje met veel keuze, heerlijk Aziatisch eten en vriendelijke, attente bediening. Echt gezellig en echt lekker. Heeft mijn verwachtingen op basis van de eerste aanblik ver overtroffen en ik kom hier zeker terug. Vriendelijke prijzen, dus prima om vaker te bezoeken.
