First time eating Thai food abroad I ordered Pad Thai to eat. The taste was OK. What you need to add is spiciness or add chili powder. The interior of the shop is beautifully decorated. It is also next to the train station.

A trip through Asia, various dishes from the Asian kitchen..quality is unfortunately not as it used to be.. We were regular customers but now we don't come as regularly. Points for improvement: Pay more attention to the preparation of the dishes, renew the menu. And replace the menu cards that are very dirty!

Easily the best flamed salmon nigiri I've ever had! 😍 A must-try for those arriving at Nijmegen Centraal Train Station. 👌 Cozy seating, relaxing music, clean bathrooms, and a diverse menu. Next time, I'd like to try their pandan creme brulee, fried plantains, and sticky mango rice for dessert because my mom is Asian and these would remind me of home.

Very tasty food, fast service (they run themselves ragged), the atmosphere is nice but there is little upholstery so there is a lot of noise.

Nice restaurant, very cozy and casual atmosphere. We arrived at 9:15 pm and had 15 minutes to order food before the kitchen closed. We ordered several dishes at the same time and everything was equally delicious! The food was also on the table very quickly. Before the last round (both food and drinks) they come by your table to ask if you want to order anything.

Bad service from the tastiest sushi place in Nijmegen. Ordered sushi for €130 for home delivery on Sunday afternoon. After the food was delivered half an hour later than the intended delivery time, it turned out that the order did not contain soy sauce and wasabi. Surprised, I called to ask if this was true, to which the answer was that it is only included if you order sushi... there was no shortage of sushi. We were then asked how far we live from MIA, as if the distance determines whether or not they should correct this error. I think that's pretty special and then you've already lost me. The food, on the other hand, tastes delicious as always. I think the service can be improved.

We have NEVER left a review of a restaurant in 20 years but felt totally and utterly compelled to put this place firmly where it belongs....up there with the best!!!! Absolutely amazing food, ambience and staff 💕👌👍🙌 ...in fact we cancelled our third dinner reservation for our three night break to come back (and we came just for drinks on our second night too!!)...amazing attention to detail to customers and just brilliant food cooked to perfection... you guys have nailed it!!! Food was presented super nicely, though we both agreed it wasn’t anything special. The staff was friendly and happy to accommodate my friend with nut allergies. The desserts were definitely the highlights of the evening!

MIA is really nice, but I found it too expensive for what it was. I went to dinner with friends and we only ordered vegetarian food and had one alcoholic drink each (which was also 11 euros) and it was over 50 euros each. There's no distinction between price for fish, meat and vegetarian which I find bizarre considering fish is so expensive and all we had was vegetables, not even tempeh or tofu. Other than that the food was good and the Asian style sangria was really nice, but all a bit too pricey for what it was.

A bit tucked away in Nijmegen Central Station, you don't expect it there, visited this restaurant on recommendation. Very friendly staff, very attractive decoration and the food... sublime. So many different taste sensations in one evening. You can try them all together with your table companions. Thoroughly enjoyed!!

Been many times in recent years. It's been a while now, but MIA does not disappoint: Good, affordable food in a pleasant location (which, in addition to public transport, is also easily accessible by car through the parking garage).

It is already the second time that we go to MIA. I find the quality/price fair and the service is very friendly. The food arrives in a very short time, if you are in a rush it is the place to go. We will go back, definitely.

We tried their vegetarian Osaka Sushi, Spring rolls, samosa and mango sticky rice. We enjoyed the taste along with Japanese soda. However, Chinese Tomato Cream soup was extremely sweet and did not enjoy it.

We had take out, it was really great food! They even added rice that we did not order to make it a full meal. Would highly recommend !

Ik ben er naar toe gegaan vanwege de positieve beoordelingen. Die begrijp ik niet. Het eten is veel te duur! de authentieke Aziatische smaak is ver te zoeken. De porties zijn klein en het personeel vraagt niet eens of je lekker hebt gegeten. Als je voor een snelle hap even wat wil eten voordat je de trein moet halen is het perfect! Jammer dat ik deze minder positieve beoordeling moet schrijven want : perfecte locatie en het ziet er leuk uit! dus maak er dan ook wat van!

Yesterday, I was craving the blueberry boba milk, but this time, it was nothing like the first time I had it, plus I got sick after drinking it! 😓

We hadden hoge verwachtingen maar het viel echt tegen. We hadden een wakamesalade. De zeewier was nat en we hadden niet verwacht dat je in de schaal ook wat blikmaïs en hele tomaatjes zou krijgen. We hebben het teruggegeven. De sushi was niet vers; achteraf zagen we dat deze al in plastic bakken klaar stond. Geen aanrader. We hebben ook de biefstukpuntjes genomen. Flauw van smaak en sommige stukjes waren taai. Het is een van de meest verkochte gerechten... Als kers op de taart kwam in plaats van de salade de karaage. De kip was grijs van binnen, niet knapperig, te grote stukken, zeker niet vers gemaakt en overdrenkt met saus. Het beste wat ze hebben geserveerd was de dim sum en de gesneden meloen. Erg vervelend maar op de vraag of het gesmaakt had konden we geen antwoord geven. We hebben netjes afgerekend en ons diner in een ander restaurant voortgezet. Mogelijk dat ik er nog eens een borrel ga drinken maar eten zal ik er niet meer doen. Erg jammer; een mooie zaak maar wij verwachten voor deze prijs en uitstraling veel meer kwaliteit.

Price-quality ratio: not worth it, sumo or Tomi Nijmegen delivers the same quality (if not better), many times cheaper..

I only quickly visited a few times to buy a bubbletea to go and it was great atmosphere, nice staffmembers and the drinks are delicious.

This place has been our group favourite restaurant for whole 3 years of Bachelor, and still until now. Just special place for us in Nijmegen to gather after every exam season. The food are great and their menu is diverse. If you also prefer good amount of food, I recommend ordering Pad Thai, Yaki Udon or Salmon Teppan ( with a bow of rice ). We also loveee the General Hu or Karaage chicken. What to love more is the cozy ambience and excellent customer service. If you want to support local family business, trust me that the owners are super kind and accommodating people. The vibe overall motivates me to go back more for of their food even when my wallet does not support me to eat out 🥹

Well, a restaurant in/next to a station, then you turn your nose up! At least I do, but sometimes I have a prejudice, like here in Nijmegen. Wow, delicious Asian dishes, full of flavor, great formula, and all very fresh, not an ordinary Chinese, not an ordinary Japanese, give it a try. I was happy that I could still get a spot on a weekday Tuesday: many before me have already discovered this spot. The only disadvantage: if I want to make a reservation, the choice starts at a minimum of 2, so if I am alone I cannot guarantee a spot. Well, discrimination??

I had takeout. Food tasted good, not to oily or spicy, kind waiters. Would recommend. The restaurant is clean, a lot of places to sit and close to the station. All in all really good choice for Asian food.

We were the only ones in the place, but possibly because we came for lunch. But it's a really nice restaurant, especially the part on the side of the platform. We had wakame cucumber salad, tiger summer roll, Singapore rice and fried yaki udon noodles. Everything was delicious, we thought the rice was really wow! We actually didn't like the fried yaki udon, it was sour. And then dessert ♥️♥️♥️ pandan creme brûlée, which was really delicious! We will definitely come back again.

Place with good food right next to Nijmegen station. Fast and friendly staff. The price for some dishes is a bit on the high side. For dessert I would recommend the pandan crème brûlée. 🥮 And as a normal dish you can take the Japanese karagee. 🐓

Beautiful restaurant & the food was really tasty! Only if, as a sushi restaurant, you don't have half of the sushi on the menu, I actually feel like quitting. The rain stopped me. In the end we had a nice meal, but when I got home my daughter suddenly had to throw up! I don't necessarily want to say because I can't prove it through the food, but I still find it strange!

Mia Nijmegen is without a doubt the place for the best matcha in town. Every sip of their matcha. The employees are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere at Mia is wonderfully relaxed. It is the ideal space to relax, whether you are alone or with friends. The interior is inviting and cozy, which also makes it a perfect place for a night out for dinner. Although it can be a bit busier in the evenings, this adds to the vibrant ambiance that makes Mia so special. I often come here for the matcha, the delicious soup, satay chicken and sushi. my favorite at the moment. Highly recommended!

I like the affordable price with decent food. Tea of ginger and lime was not my taste and mayo I would try something else next time. We ordered basket, spring rolls and noodles. Noodles were a bit too salty but was good. All food are good.

Op dit (door mij) onderschatte plekje, naast het station, zit een leuk restaurant met heerlijk eten! Het concept is shared dining en dat is maar goed ook, want er is heel veel lekkers om te proeven. Qua drinken viel de tropical thunder (mocktail) erg in de smaak bij de hele tafel. Ik kom hier zeker nog eens terug!

Very disappointing when you come to eat here and there is no sushi left. Quite special for a restaurant where sushi is also a large part of the menu. Only ate soup and Gyoza and steak tips, then left immediately. This was also our first time, so we had a bad experience, which is a shame, we won't have it a second time. (For the inconvenience they have deducted the 3 drinks at 10.50, but yes, your evening is ruined)

The place is in a unique location, at the Nijmegen train station, with a peculiar interior design. An elegant Asian theme both in the decoration and in the dishes and drinks they offer. The menu has a variety of delicious dishes, the service is spectacular and they are also pet friendly.

Unexpectedly good !!!!! Best tapioca pearls and fresh fruits and meals! Will be back to try everything else on the menu ☺️

Een hele goede restaurant als alternatief als de restaurant van Mercure Nijmegen op weekenden zijn gesloten. Aangrenzend aan het station van Nijmegen, kan je hier heerlijk Aziatisch dineren.

Mijn moeder heeft eten bij Mia besteld, maar het kwam 25 minuten te laat en de vegetarische noodels waren niet vegetarisch. Maar verder was het lekker en nog warm toen het aankwam.

Unfortunately the food is from the fridge and not fresh prepared.

The food is just catfish, just supermarket ready meals with extremely high levels of fat. Drinks is just a glass of ice, hardly any juice/iced tea in it. The food is super catfish, phathai noodles were literally just noodles without phathai! Restaurant has a musty smell. Staff is friendly.

Right in the station building it is very cozy, the interior is Asian "improvised" (e.g. ingredients and crates of drinks are stored decoratively on the shelves in the guest room). The menu is varied but not overloaded, the food is excellent, prices are super fair, staff are quick and very friendly - perfect!

Great food, better service The food is impeccable with all meat dishes being tender and juicy and the vegetables equally as good. A personal favourite is the karaage, just too good. All mocktails and cocktails we tried were amazing in taste and optically stunning as well. Specifically the p*rnstar martini was mesmerising with half a passion fruit in the glass. The staff was incredibly friendly, eager to explain dishes and gave honest recommendations. Even though the space is large and we were there when it was almost full we could talk without yelling. The interior decoration is both cozy and functional, providing an organic atmosphere and dampening the noises of other guests and the kitchen. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Third time I have picked up here but unfortunately it was very disappointing. The ice tea melon peach was only jasmine tea with a slice of watermelon, they forgot the chicken so I had to go back, tasty, sushi with a lot of sauce and small and naan bread is not worth the price... for 7.50 I expected more than 1 small naan bread full of too much garlic and very small containers of sauce. All in all too expensive for what you get, unfortunately

First time eating here for my birthday. Very nice restaurant, nice friendly people, delicious food! So many delicious things on the menu that it was difficult to choose, so we will definitely come back!

The food is very tasty but very expensive for the portion you get. For example, spicy steak pieces, I estimate about 100-125 grams for about €12/€13. And without rice or something like that. With 5-6 dishes you will have eaten just enough for 2 people, but you will spend around €70 per person with 2 drinks. Tasty, beautifully presented, but in my opinion too expensive for the pore size. Convenient location next to the station and close to the Doornroosje concert hall. Nice, cozy furnishings.
