I recommend good food, the best are pad Thai and strawberry lychee bubble tea

A perfect lunch restaurant. The pad thai was excellent, and the lemongrass and ginger homemade ice tea tasty and nicely presented. Decent coffee too & the service was swift and friendly. The restaurant is spacious and light. Can’t ask for more!

Very good food that got served to us quickly. The staff was very nice and checked on us regularly. Not the cheapest food but pricing seems fair. Small portions but the restaurant does recommend 2-3 dishes per person. We went for 3 per person + dessert and we found it to be ideal.

The starter (Tom Kah Kai) was served after the main course; according to the waiter, they always do that at Asian restaurants. Well, of the many I have already visited, this was the first. I can also be positive; in terms of taste, everything was perfectly fine. The Mongolian lamb chops were delicious and highly recommended.

It was nice that they have a lot of Halal and vegetarian options. The thai curry tasted really good. Also it is super close to the central station making it easily accessible.

The restaurant has a really nice interior, and the staff is friendly. Sadly, the food is a bit too bland for Asian cuisine. The udon lacked flavor, and the meat was rubbery. On the bright side, the Korean fried chicken and spring rolls were delicious. The drinks were well-presented and tasty. Overall, it's fine.

Delicious food in a nice setting. A place where you can still have a normal conversation, even when sitting at the front. We’ve been a few times now and the consistency of quality remains high. As far as we’re concerned, it’s highly recommended for anyone who loves Asian food. Until next time!

Had a delicious meal, also plenty of vegetarian options

Mold on the food!! After picking up a large order, it turned out there was a thick layer of mold on the sauces! It made us sick. We have contacted them multiple times and to date have received no compensation or decent apology, not even a response. Really terrible!!

We had a wonderful dinner sharing various dishes. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. Located right in the station, you can enjoy the passing travellers and trains. All servers were well versed in both Dutch and English.

MIA was always our favorite. The ambiance and atmosphere are great. The food is increasingly disappointing. Hardly any chicken in the Thai chicken curry. Spring rolls that are completely tasteless. According to the waitress, the sauces make the flavor. Duh-huh? What was really tasty was the Peking duck. All other dishes were bland in taste. We also ordered takeout more often. But the flavor is getting flatter and flatter, and the dishes aren't warm. It seems like MIA is succumbing to its former success. Such a shame!

MIA is a restaurant serving Asian dishes that does exactly what you expect: simply good comfort food, without pretensions of fine dining. The dishes are flavorful and served in generous portions; you certainly won't leave here hungry. The service was quick and friendly, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. That makes it a nice place for a casual dinner. The setting of MIA is also special. The restaurant is located at the station, giving you a view of the trains while you eat. All in all, a great place if you are in the mood for tasty, uncomplicated food in a cozy setting!

We quickly grabbed a bite to eat before a concert. There was just enough room for four people since we hadn't made a reservation. We had green curry, but it was quite tasteless and full of green, raw bell peppers. The beer was watery (a festival beer idea). Friends had fried chicken with rice, which they enjoyed. The bubble tea and iced tea weren't good. For the price we paid, all four of us were disappointed. The atmosphere was okay, as far as I could tell. The girl who took our order was friendly and okay. The food arrived fairly quickly.

Mia's is no longer worth it! The quality (and flavors) of the food aren't what they were in the first two years since they opened. In fact, it's so poor that I can no longer recommend this restaurant, but advise against it. It's a shame that what used to be one of the better restaurants is now one of the worst in Nijmegen.

Korean spicy chicken was exactly what I was craving, and it was satisfying. However, it wasn’t very easy to talk to each other during dinner because it was a bit noisy. Also, even though we were still within their opening hours, we still felt a bit under pressure. Overall, it’s super cute though! And very convenient since it’s inside the central station.

After a busy afternoon, we had a leisurely lunch at Made in Asia. It's perfect if you're looking for something different than fries or pasta near Nijmegen Central Station. The homemade iced tea was delicious and not too sweet. The sushi was made earlier in the day, so it was fine, but not particularly special. The rice was well-cooked, and the sushi had tasty toppings. The Vietnamese summer rolls were deliciously fresh and a generous portion.

For a night out, we were recommended Made in Asia for dinner. We received a very friendly welcome. Fortunately, there's a wheelchair-accessible entrance. The service was very friendly and helpful. The gin and tonic was truly excellent, delicious! I would come back just for that. The food was also all of excellent quality, beautifully presented, and very tasty. The atmosphere inside is very cozy. The area outside, adjacent to the platform and the bicycle parking area, is a bit less inviting. There aren't many options for small children. All in all, we're unsure whether we'll return soon or have it delivered/picked up. But we'll definitely eat here again. Highly recommended!

Fast service. Easy to reach. The interior is more inviting than the exterior suggests. It's not clear from the outside what you can eat if you're not familiar with the area.

I've ordered takeout, delivery, and dined in the restaurant several times, both for lunch and dinner. The staff is always incredibly friendly, the food is absolutely fantastic, and the restaurant has a great vibe! Definitely recommended.

A variety of Asian dishes. Unfortunately, the quality isn't what it used to be. We were regulars but don't come as often anymore. Areas for improvement: - Pay more attention to the preparation of the dishes. During the first year (since opening), the quality was consistent! - Update the menu. - And replace the menu cards, which are very dirty!

This was truly amazing. Fantastically delicious food. I'm not a particularly culinary expert, but this was truly divine. I can't fault it. We had a wonderful time! Everything was presented very neatly. The sushi was also delicious and looked incredibly fresh. We'll be back!

Nice concept to taste all kind of Asian food. Pick and try! With a larger group you can share a lot of options this way. On the downside tastes are sometimes weirdly mixed and the waiters do not tell you what is what. It comes to your table and you find out while trying. There are also full main dishes, which are quite large so beware of eating too many starters. When busy it is rather noisy and hard to understand each other when talking. Some dishes rather greasy, especially the deep fried ones I happened to try. Don't know which these were.....

The food was quite expensive and not particularly strong or special, but what really bothered me was that there was only one women's restroom for a fairly large, crowded restaurant with staff. I had to wait a really long time. It would be nice to have more gender-neutral restrooms, or at least more women's restrooms. (I think there were several men's restrooms; it's unfair!).

For us, the selection was mediocre and meager. What we ordered was delicious, but the choices were limited. The atmosphere, outside on the terrace, was great, and the service was also excellent. It was already our third visit, but that day we noticed the lackluster service. A sign of things to come?

Relaxed and drank green tea on their terrace. They were very attentive; we needed water for the hob and ashtray (didn't ask). We'll definitely be back for dinner; it smelled delicious, and the small snack was certainly fresh and tasty.

First time eating Thai food abroad I ordered Pad Thai to eat. The taste was OK. What you need to add is spiciness or add chili powder. The interior of the shop is beautifully decorated. It is also next to the train station.

Easily the best flamed salmon nigiri I've ever had! 😍 A must-try for those arriving at Nijmegen Centraal Train Station. 👌 Cozy seating, relaxing music, clean bathrooms, and a diverse menu. Next time, I'd like to try their pandan creme brulee, fried plantains, and sticky mango rice for dessert because my mom is Asian and these would remind me of home.

Bad service from the tastiest sushi place in Nijmegen. Ordered sushi for €130 for home delivery on Sunday afternoon. After the food was delivered half an hour later than the intended delivery time, it turned out that the order did not contain soy sauce and wasabi. Surprised, I called to ask if this was true, to which the answer was that it is only included if you order sushi... there was no shortage of sushi. We were then asked how far we live from MIA, as if the distance determines whether or not they should correct this error. I think that's pretty special and then you've already lost me. The food, on the other hand, tastes delicious as always. I think the service can be improved.

Nice restaurant, very cozy and casual atmosphere. We arrived at 9:15 pm and had 15 minutes to order food before the kitchen closed. We ordered several dishes at the same time and everything was equally delicious! The food was also on the table very quickly. Before the last round (both food and drinks) they come by your table to ask if you want to order anything.

We have NEVER left a review of a restaurant in 20 years but felt totally and utterly compelled to put this place firmly where it belongs....up there with the best!!!! Absolutely amazing food, ambience and staff 💕👌👍🙌 ...in fact we cancelled our third dinner reservation for our three night break to come back (and we came just for drinks on our second night too!!)...amazing attention to detail to customers and just brilliant food cooked to perfection... you guys have nailed it!!! Food was presented super nicely, though we both agreed it wasn’t anything special. The staff was friendly and happy to accommodate my friend with nut allergies. The desserts were definitely the highlights of the evening!

MIA is really nice, but I found it too expensive for what it was. I went to dinner with friends and we only ordered vegetarian food and had one alcoholic drink each (which was also 11 euros) and it was over 50 euros each. There's no distinction between price for fish, meat and vegetarian which I find bizarre considering fish is so expensive and all we had was vegetables, not even tempeh or tofu. Other than that the food was good and the Asian style sangria was really nice, but all a bit too pricey for what it was.

A bit tucked away in Nijmegen Central Station, you don't expect it there, visited this restaurant on recommendation. Very friendly staff, very attractive decoration and the food... sublime. Been many times in recent years. It's been a while now, but MIA does not disappoint: Good, affordable food in a pleasant location (which, in addition to public transport, is also easily accessible by car through the parking garage).

It is already the second time that we go to MIA. I find the quality/price fair and the service is very friendly. The food arrives in a very short time, if you are in a rush it is the place to go. We will go back, definitely.

We tried their vegetarian Osaka Sushi, Spring rolls, samosa and mango sticky rice. We enjoyed the taste along with Japanese soda. However, Chinese Tomato Cream soup was extremely sweet and did not enjoy it.

Ik ben er naar toe gegaan vanwege de positieve beoordelingen. Die begrijp ik niet. Het eten is veel te duur! de authentieke Aziatische smaak is ver te zoeken. De porties zijn klein en het personeel vraagt niet eens of je lekker hebt gegeten. Als je voor een snelle hap even wat wil eten voordat je de trein moet halen is het perfect! Jammer dat ik deze minder positieve beoordeling moet schrijven want : perfecte locatie en het ziet er leuk uit! dus maak er dan ook wat van!

Yesterday, I was craving the blueberry boba milk, but this time, it was nothing like the first time I had it, plus I got sick after drinking it! 😓

We hadden hoge verwachtingen maar het viel echt tegen. We hadden een wakamesalade. De zeewier was nat en we hadden niet verwacht dat je in de schaal ook wat blikmaïs en hele tomaatjes zou krijgen. We hebben het teruggegeven. De sushi was niet vers; achteraf zagen we dat deze al in plastic bakken klaar stond. Geen aanrader. We hebben ook de biefstukpuntjes genomen. Flauw van smaak en sommige stukjes waren taai. Het is een van de meest verkochte gerechten... Als kers op de taart kwam in plaats van de salade de karaage. De kip was grijs van binnen, niet knapperig, te grote stukken, zeker niet vers gemaakt en overdrenkt met saus. Het beste wat ze hebben geserveerd was de dim sum en de gesneden meloen. Erg vervelend maar op de vraag of het gesmaakt had konden we geen antwoord geven. We hebben netjes afgerekend en ons diner in een ander restaurant voortgezet. Mogelijk dat ik er nog eens een borrel ga drinken maar eten zal ik er niet meer doen. Erg jammer; een mooie zaak maar wij verwachten voor deze prijs en uitstraling veel meer kwaliteit.

Price-quality ratio: not worth it, sumo or Tomi Nijmegen delivers the same quality (if not better), many times cheaper..

This place has been our group favourite restaurant for whole 3 years of Bachelor, and still until now. Just special place for us in Nijmegen to gather after every exam season. The food are great and their menu is diverse. If you also prefer good amount of food, I recommend ordering Pad Thai, Yaki Udon or Salmon Teppan ( with a bow of rice ). We also loveee the General Hu or Karaage chicken. What to love more is the cozy ambience and excellent customer service. If you want to support local family business, trust me that the owners are super kind and accommodating people. The vibe overall motivates me to go back more for of their food even when my wallet does not support me to eat out 🥹

Well, a restaurant in/next to a station, then you turn your nose up! At least I do, but sometimes I have a prejudice, like here in Nijmegen. Wow, delicious Asian dishes, full of flavor, great formula, and all very fresh, not an ordinary Chinese, not an ordinary Japanese, give it a try. I was happy that I could still get a spot on a weekday Tuesday: many before me have already discovered this spot. The only disadvantage: if I want to make a reservation, the choice starts at a minimum of 2, so if I am alone I cannot guarantee a spot. Well, discrimination??

I had takeout. Food tasted good, not to oily or spicy, kind waiters. Would recommend. The restaurant is clean, a lot of places to sit and close to the station. All in all really good choice for Asian food.

We were the only ones in the place, but possibly because we came for lunch. But it's a really nice restaurant, especially the part on the side of the platform. We had wakame cucumber salad, tiger summer roll, Singapore rice and fried yaki udon noodles. Everything was delicious, we thought the rice was really wow! We actually didn't like the fried yaki udon, it was sour. And then dessert ♥️♥️♥️ pandan creme brûlée, which was really delicious! We will definitely come back again.

Place with good food right next to Nijmegen station. Fast and friendly staff. The price for some dishes is a bit on the high side. For dessert I would recommend the pandan crème brûlée. 🥮 And as a normal dish you can take the Japanese karagee. 🐓

Beautiful restaurant & the food was really tasty! Only if, as a sushi restaurant, you don't have half of the sushi on the menu, I actually feel like quitting. The rain stopped me. In the end we had a nice meal, but when I got home my daughter suddenly had to throw up! I don't necessarily want to say because I can't prove it through the food, but I still find it strange!
