Guy threatened us to leave because he didn’t like us….worst place in Alphen don’t go….bar 32 is better!!

During the tear gas incident, my daughter and her friends received excellent assistance from the doorman at Bar Amsterdam. It was -3 degrees Celsius, and they weren't wearing coats because theirs were still in the cloakroom. The tear gas caused them difficulty breathing, and it burned their faces and eyes severely. They were visibly shaken and panicked. The doorman let them in, immediately helped them flush, gave them a blanket and something to drink, and made sure they could recover safely and calm down. I'll personally go back to thank him for this.

We definitely noticed a lot of minors coming in before. Fortunately, that's no longer the case lately, and ID checks are strict, which is a huge plus. Security has noticeably improved and looks more professional. The biggest drawback, however, remains that it's often overcrowded, making it difficult to move around. Hopefully, Bar Amsterdam will reopen to better manage the crowds.

My friend was suddenly yelled at by security by the name of a cancer Chinese guy. There are also a lot of people under 18 who come in here, so that should be looked into.

I always love singing at Schatjes! The place, the staff, the owners, and the audience always create a great atmosphere. It's always a blast there! 🎤✨ Best, Peter la Haye

Phenomenal tent, only the music at the moment could be better!

At first the bartender charges 3 euros per beer for 2 hours, but as soon as it gets busy it's 3.50...

Super cozy and very nice and friendly staff!! The beer is very affordable. However, there should be more diversity in music. Dutch rap is played a LOT. Gets boring at some point.

Good music and good atmosphere. This club knows how to throw a party! Unfortunately also the negatives, renewal is necessary and the temperature could be lowered a bit... often too warm. Maybe it's because of the crowds, but this is really a downside. And the toilets... need renovation! Seems to me you're getting enough guests to save up some money for that! But otherwise... if you want to have a party, this is the place to be!

Great tent!! Very nice and good bar staff that makes your evening complete... highly recommended!!
