It's always great to have a spontaneous drink and snack here (with the kids). It's also nice that Moeke's is perfectly fine for children. The coloring page with the apple juice (and pancakes) really completes the experience; we'll be back often.

Nice atmosphere and delicious food

After volleyball on Thursdays, we always have drinks with a group. It's always busy and lively, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely recommended.

Due to crowds on the terrace, we had to wait a long time for our food, drinks only arrived afterwards

We had a delicious meal. It took a while for them to find our table, but after that, it was back to the good old days.

They're not happy with large groups. Moeke's burger suddenly became unavailable. Long waits for food and drinks.

A lovely pub where you can also enjoy a delicious lunch. The staff has a diverse age range, which I personally appreciate. They are very helpful and friendly. Food and drinks arrived quickly after ordering. I will definitely be back!

I ordered deluxe fries with an IPA today. Very fast delivery. The fries were rock hard, impossible to bite through. I left them there. When the otherwise friendly lady asked how I liked them, she saw the fries and said to report them to the cook. He politely came back and apologized, they were really too hard. The manager, who was sitting behind me, noticed. I had to pay the full amount at checkout.🥹. What terrible customer service!! They will NEVER see me there again!

A great place to grab a bite to eat with friends or family. They have extended opening hours and an extensive menu. We were there for dinner this time. We enjoyed the schnitzel and chicken burger. The service was friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be back.

Nice place. Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent food. Friendly staff. I got a large slice of prawn crackers with my chicken satay and fries. Tasted just as you'd expect from chicken satay.

Friendly staff, though. The spareribs weren't cooked properly. The meat should fall off when you touch it, and that wasn't the case. I had to pull hard on them. Apparently undercooked, then slathered in red sauce and grilled, leaving them almost blackened in front of me. Tip: grill them first and then add the sauce. Try eating them yourself. A slightly more modest presentation would suit Moeke.

We ate here on the terrace on a beautiful summer evening. Excellent service, delicious food. The terrace is atmospheric.

We sat on the terrace. The food was excellent. We had a drinks platter as a starter and a beef stew as a main course. The staff doesn't notice when glasses are empty. You have to call someone over every time.

Fine restaurant. Ginneken is already pleasant, but Moeke even more so. Both inside. But on the terrace, in the evening sun, a bite to eat, is completely fine. Tasty wines, extensive beer selection, and a great menu. And the service is fast, young and professional.

Delicious chocolate milk with whipped cream

Moeke in Ginneken has a great vibe, delicious food, and excellent service nothing to complain about! In winter, dogs are welcome inside, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge after a nice walk in the Mastbos.

Always great. This time I only had a drink on the terrace with an acquaintance who was already there.

We went for dinner with 7, 2 had a hamburger and liked it. The other 5 each had something different and left more than half because it was not tasty.

Delicious flammkuchen, also carpaccio but not a 5 star experience because of the cheesecake experience because that was just a 1. Asked for clarification in advance but instead of white and milk chocolate there was only white chocolate. And the dimensions, 8 euros for a stamp! It reminded me more of a Haags hopje than a petit four, too bad. This was also indicated when paying, our employee had to laugh about it. Sad because you still feel cheated.

Always pleasant and excellent service, but the price-quality ratio is completely out of context. Especially considering the low quality of the food. Also not much choice. Just keep it simple, I would say, a bit bistro-like.

I had a delicious tomato soup, but I was initially served it lukewarm, my table companion indicated that this happens more often at Moeke's. But the service was great, the soup was immediately exchanged and I received my gluten-free sandwich well packaged separately.

Heerlijke plek met aardig personeel en kwaliteit eten. Het is wel aan te raden (gezinnen zonder jonge kinderen) om niet te dicht bij de speel gelegenheid te gaan zitten. Ouders laten kinderen hier spelen zonder te corrigeren dus gegil etc.

Me and my five friends wanted some beer and a burger and fries on Sunday evening they closed at 10pm the staff doesn't seem to want to serve beer there on Sundays this is a bad thing very sad

I’ve been three times in this bar and I’ve always had a good time. Friendly and fast service. Reasonable prices. Nice environment. The food is good.

The special was a chicken burger with jalapenos. It was a tasteless situation. They forgot the jalapenos. And whether we still wanted it. Hmm, I think you take the plates back to the kitchen and try again for your customers. No comps, no free drinks. I will probably never eat at Moeke's again. Too bad!

A visit to the Burgundian city of Breda is not complete without visiting Moeke Ginneken. 1st class catering facility for a wonderful stay. Eating/Drinking in a truly atmospheric ambiance. Hospitality and professionalism are of paramount importance here. Terrace available. Wheelchair accessible and dogs - provided they are kept on a leash - are allowed. Suitable for all kinds of events and occasions. In short, highly recommended.

Today we stopped here for lunch during an NS walk. I myself had a delicious Bal Moeke. Fries with a delicious and nice large meatball in gravy. Because it was a cool autumn day, I drank a Hertog Jan bock beer from the tap with this. As far as I'm concerned, a great combination! The meatball was nice and tender and enjoyed a bath of delicious gravy. What a delicious taste this gravy has. The fries were also tasty, but a bit small for the meatball. A little more and it was perfect. The delicious taste of the gravy didn't even require mayonnaise. 😇 After this we drank a hot chocolate with a slice of apple pie and a dollop of whipped cream. Pure enjoyment. Really delicious apple pie. The chocolate milk could be a little sweeter to our taste, but you get a sugar stick for this. Then you can add as much as you want. The atmosphere and service in the shop are also excellent. A really nice cozy place to have a drink or something to eat.

If you're early you'll be the first and you won't even have any people in the photo, just like this time. What a cozy atmosphere there is here in this famous neighborhood of Breda. I love this style, it gives a warm, homely and inviting feeling... with a nice terrace between the trees.....

The meal was excellent and the service was very good

This afternoon we settled on the well-known Ginnekemarkt. We thought we were going to have a delicious lunch, but we were very disappointed. The staff walked around as if they didn't feel like it at all. We also noticed it with other guests who wanted to order something. You had a week's offer of crispy chicken burgers with honey mustard dressing and that sounded good. Unfortunately we got some kind of chicken schnitzel on a bun. It didn't look appetizing, it was tough, dry and way too big. We didn't eat it, just the fries. No one has come by in the meantime to ask if it was tasty. When we asked if we could pay, nothing was asked. The boy didn't even look at our plates. When he came back with the voucher, I asked him if he wasn't curious whether we liked it. And then he didn't really know what to say. The coke was also not cold and when the food was served my coffee was taken away even though the glass was not yet empty. If we had such staff working on our terrace, we would send them home. Later I saw on the receipt that the burger was 18.50, not really an offer and also from the chip shop. Very unfortunate, but we will not be back.

The location is good, as is the terrace, but it is quite pricey and I had to wait a long time several times for drinks and food. The staff seems somewhat inexperienced - Edit; the location is still sublime, it looks like the south of France under the plane trees in the summer, the staff is also much better and friendly, wide choice of drinks, the tartare was very tasty but the presentation and portion of the ribs really can't be beat…

What a nice place! We really enjoyed the food on the cozy terrace with a good atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended and we would love to come back when we are in the area again!

Young waiting staff, still clumsy and spilled drinks all over me. But they were very nice. They also have to learn. Great atmosphere.

Nice to eat here, but it was a busy Friday afternoon, so the service was not that fast, in terms of taking the order. That doesn't change the fact that they are super friendly. Food was also tasty, so it was good. If you want to eat "quietly", it is better not to go here on a rainy Friday afternoon, because then it is quite noisy inside, hence the 4 stars.

Great recognition, I grew up there on the Ginnekenmarkt from the Duivelsbruglaan and later the Baronielaan. Of course I came to the OudeStijl Jazz Festival in the earlier years, but now for a fries and croquette. Enjoyed.

Good glass of beer. Bitterballen and chicken snacks good. Ginger ale with extra piece of ginger in it. Keep it simple but do it well. Then you understand.

Went to Moeke's with my sister and had a delicious burger and flammkuchen! Moeke really has a lot of choices on her lunch menu and it was also nice that there was a separate card with asparagus dishes. The service and atmosphere are very good, nice to see all those quotes and texts everywhere in the restaurant!😄
