Great food, nice atmosphere. The only downside is that you have to pay for parking! You do get a discount, but still. We found it odd to have to pay for parking at this location. Hence, 2 ⭐️ for the service.

The menu listed tender steak with shrimp: The steak was ordered as medium rare, but it was served "well done." That was a huge disappointment! Especially since the price-quality ratio wasn't right. They asked if I wanted a different steak, but that was too late... The beef tips in the overly warm salad were just as steak should be: tender and medium rare to rare. Not recommended.

I love having lunch at Moeke's with my friends and just chatting for a bit. It's lovely to sit in a corner on a comfy sofa. Friendly staff, fast service.

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, I had lunch at Moeke in Nijmegen. Parking was plentiful due to the variety of things to do on the premises. Paid parking is required. Moeke's interior is very nice, with beautiful industrial lamps and lovely, atmospheric signs. We didn't arrive until around 2:30, so it wasn't busy for lunch. A friendly young man helped us to our table, listing the extras on the menu. I went for the eggs benedict, and my companion chose the avocado toast. Both tasted fine, but weren't exactly wowing. You could tell they were fresh and neatly prepared. During our meal, they came by to ask if we wanted anything else to drink, which was great service. We didn't have to wait long to pay either.

Just a cocktail at Moeke's after the movie. We ordered a mojito and an "Auntie Tinie." We tasted very little alcohol, and the mojito simply didn't have any. We returned this to the waitress and checked if we actually had a mojito instead of a nojito. She assured us it was a mojito, but if we weren't satisfied, we'd get a new one. She then returned, explaining that it was possible we couldn't taste the alcohol because of the sugar in the drink. If we wanted a new one, we would be charged for it. We're 40 years old and know when we taste alcohol. It was just a sour water drink. My "Auntie Tinie" was sweeter, and we did taste the alcohol in it. It's a shame we weren't taken seriously. You pay 10 euros for a glass of lemonade like this.

Delicious food. Extensive lunch and dinner menu. Fast and efficient service. The location seems like it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's actually quite convenient, with waterfront access, a beach, and a cinema and arcade next door.

Service wasn't as expected. I ordered a burger and fries from Mom. The fries were still glassy (not cooked through), the burger was overcooked and very dry. The bun was also very dry. The burger was supposed to have bacon, but it had ham. Not good value for money. Unfriendly staff. Not recommended!

Just back from a fantastic evening at Moeke Nijmegen! What an atmosphere, really cozy and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I had the spareribs and they were absolutely delicious, so tender the meat fell off the bone. My friend had the burger and that was also great. Good portions and the price is great. Definitely recommended if you're in Nijmegen!

Cozy spot by the water. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. The service was very slow, though. While the staff was friendly, the food wasn't served at the same time. Half of our group had their food, and the other half had to wait another five minutes. That was very disappointing.

We had such a lovely time here on a busy Sunday. The staff were very friendly, and everything was delicious. Everything was brought and cleared away quickly. I highly recommend eating here. There's a beach right outside, which is great for the kids.

We came to get some ice cream, there was a medium sized queue, we arrived half an hour before closing time when we had been standing in line for 5 minutes, they told us they were closing, the people who were at the front had waited 20 minutes for their ice cream

Our family (5 people) had a wonderful meal at Moeke's! Despite it being busy, the service was incredibly friendly and prompt. The food was top-notch, and the menu offered something for everyone. It looks cozy and the nachos are delicious, but unfortunately, the staff wasn't very motivated. It looked like they were closing already; everything was being cleared away, and no one was around to take orders. And that was an hour and a half before closing time.

Because the weather was nice, we'd planned a day at the Lentse Plas lake. Moeke's is nearby, so we popped in for lunch. Reservations aren't accepted for the terrace, and it was quite busy, but there was still room. A spot with a view of the lake. Unfortunately, we were next to a woman who practically shouted instead of talking, but that was just bad luck. It was busy, but there were plenty of staff, so they came by frequently and were also quick. We always had the same friendly woman serving us, which was nice. The service was attentive, and they all wore the same blouse, which looked smart, despite it being a beach bar. There was a wide selection of delicious lunch options, both sweet and savory. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We even went back a week later, but this time for dinner. We were served by the same person again, and the food was delicious. If I had to name one drawback, it's that the seats aren't very comfortable when you're wearing shorts or a skirt (which most people are). A cushion would be nice. I could see the marks on most people's legs/buttocks when they left. It's also great that you can use the restroom while you're at the Lentse Plas lake; they weren't fussy about it at all. Legend 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I'll never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't be back. 3) Okay, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special, fun for a one-time visit. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend it, I'll definitely be back!

What a great place to eat. And what a view...

Moeke is a very cozy place to sit. It has a nice atmosphere. The girls serving are very friendly. The nachos were delicious, unfortunately we got frozen guacamole with it. We were given a new one, but they forgot to bring it first. A friend and I ordered a mojito. It had mint leaves in it. I looked in my glass and there were several insects/bugs in it. This was probably because of the mint leaves. I was given a new drink. What I did find a pity is that there was no compensation when I paid. I didn't feel heard and this means I won't be returning anytime soon.

If you think that an area ends in terms of access. Suddenly there is a large and very pleasant area hidden away. For young and old. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible, facilities and wheelchair parking spaces. A restaurant, bar, terrace and event location where the elderly and disabled are really fully included. Situated on a beautiful natural (swimming) water. Neatly marked off with a swimming line. A sandy beach for the enthusiast or a grass lawn with, if desired; out of the wind or a cooling breeze. Directly along the beach are many wooden picnic tables, equipped with a large restaurant parasol. Adjacent to a screen with windows. You have a wide view from the neatly maintained terrace. Excellent furniture. Personally, I really enjoy the peace that water has in this context. I will not be the only one in that. The service: intention was very good. It was very busy. As a result, a table mistake was quickly made, understandably. I do not find it a problem. The frequency with which serving staff came to the table, I experienced with my companions as really too high. Food, drinks. Something else. They kept coming. We understand that you can't stay seated when the weather is nice and busy without using anything. This really didn't apply to us. Also showed (good prices) invoice. Explanation of my 4 stars instead of 5. Inside it was empty in the afternoon. Possible. May 5: 24 degrees…. Everyone preferred being outside. Large choice from all menus: drinks, lunch, dinner, in between. See photos. Everything large, lots of excellent taste. For fair prices. Neat toilets. Everything that should be there is in order. Exceptionally large. Functional with sliding door disabled toilet. Everything realized in a privacy corridor. Fire safety also in order. We enjoyed it very much. Will be back soon. You too? Terribly bad service: waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the table while there were 5 staff chatting at the bar. Someone came with a grumpy head because I was waving an arm. After that she didn't know what was on tap in terms of change and didn't ask. We then received the drinks, but no menus... we went straight back after the drinks.

We ate a flammkuchen and two fries dishes; one with truffle mayo and one with pulled pork. The order was delivered quickly and the service was great. The waitress even let us taste the beer we were interested in. Very good. The flammkuchen tasted good, but was not crispy in the middle, but soft. Shame. The pulled pork was tasty, but the fries came from the wholesaler. The restaurant would do more justice to the Moeke name with fresh fries, right?

Enjoying a nice meal on a sunny (although windy) day in early March. It was very tasty. My soup tasted delicious. The fries with sauce (from table mates) were also generous and tasty. Unfortunately, there were 'somewhat' few shrimps to be found. Everything tasted good. It was also a shame that we couldn't take coffee outside (coffee to go); 🤔/ why would that be....

Last weekend we wanted to enjoy a drink. We first took a seat on the covered terrace, within the glass walls, but it was very busy and noisy. Because I am pregnant and needed some more rest, we decided to move to a quieter spot outside the glass partition, at a table with benches. It was indeed a lot quieter there. After waiting about fifteen minutes without anyone coming by, we decided to walk in to order tea ourselves. We even thought about having something to eat later. After another 15 minutes, an employee (a middle-aged woman) came up to us. She told us that we could only sit inside if we wanted to drink tea, and that we would not be served anything outside. When we indicated that it was far too busy and noisy inside, she responded that she thought it wasn't too bad. We did not find this response very customer friendly. Finally we decided to leave. It was not a pleasant experience for us. Isn't it that difficult to serve a cup of tea outside, especially when it is quiet there and your guests just want to sit comfortably? Tip: A little extra customer friendliness and thinking along with the situation would make a big difference, and might make guests happy to come back.

Voor het eerst bij Moeke maar helaas was de gember thee € 4,75 zeer teleurstellend. Een groot glas met 4 hele dunne plakjes gember, een heleboel stukjes schil die ik na elke slok uit moest spugen en een zakje honing. Anno 2025 kan deze manier van een gember thee serveren echt niet meer!

It is a Moeke, with the atmosphere, quality and service of a Moeke. I love the concept and enjoy coming there, whether in Tiel, Rhenen or Nijmegen. And this is also very convenient at the Pathé (the only attractive thing in that godforsaken corner).

Super nice restaurant to go to with your dog. Dogs are more than welcome (also indoors). The staff often has dog biscuits in their pocket and water (for the dog) is offered.

Salade met biefstuk reepjes en Gamba's. Nog nooit zo'n slechte salade gegeten als deze. Geen excuses of wat dan ook. Super slecht!

Moeke's burger itself was fine, but the fries I got with it were downright bad! I could squeeze the frying fat right out of the fries, it was really a bomb of fat. Tip for the kitchen: replace frying fat in time!! My wife had the Moeke salad, which looked tasty and tasted good, so the salad was very tasty.

Nice location, nice stop for a cycling or walking tour to warm up with a snack and drink. A bit on the noisy, busy side, but someone else sees that as pleasant hustle and bustle :-).

We zijn zeer regelmatig bij Moeke in Lent geweest, altijd een leuke ervaring tot afgelopen zondag. Er was geen tafel beschikbaar (zag wel 4 tafels zonder gereserveerd er op) wat natuurlijk kan. Maar de manier waarop we de deur gewezen werden door de blonde dame die de tafels regelde was ronduit onbeschoft. Op onze vraag of we even aan de bar konden wachten werd zeer negatief gereageerd. Dus zijn we maar elders gaan lunchen. Wel nog even 3,75 voor het parkeren afrekenen. Gastvrij……..nee.

Helaas is de service bij Moeke ver te zoeken, het duurt altijd erg lang voordat ze je bestelling komen opnemen, daarna duurt het nog langer voordat je eten klaar is en ten slotte is het eten niet van hoge kwaliteit. Het enige wat Moeke leuk maakt is de locatie.
