Mona Lisa Pizzeria in Kralingen-Crooswijk

One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had—and I didn't even get to eat. My friend and I walked 30 minutes to get to Mona Lisa in Rotterdam, since Google Maps clearly stated it was open until 2 AM. We arrived… and it was completely closed due to renovations. There were even people working inside, so it was obvious this wasn't some temporary misunderstanding. The least they could do is update their hours on Google so they don't waste people's time. Disrespectful and poorly organized. If this is how the place is managed, I have no interest in visiting again. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had—and I didn't even get to eat. Delivery took a long time. Incorrect information was given over the phone (we were cutting the pizza). 25 minutes later, still nothing... they're a few minutes away from us. The pizzas weren't great this time either. Very unfortunate, I've had good experiences before. If you order from here, do so through Thuisbezorgd, then you can at least see the status.

Ordered from Mona Lisa again after a long time. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is definitely not what it used to be. The pasta carbonara smelled strongly of rotten food, certainly didn't smell fresh, and the pizza margarita didn't taste as good either. I don't know if we'll ever order from them again, even though they used to have really good and tasty food. The delivery service was excellent; it arrived promptly and efficiently.

Waited 15 minutes to place my order because they weren't busy with the customer but with each other. Finally I received my pasta, which wasn't completely cooked yet. The texture was still hard and inedible. Normally always satisfied here, but they really went downhill.

Honestly? Last time I ordered here today. I have ordered here more than 150 times since 2016. It is simply not what it used to be. Today I got an overcooked penne pasta bolognese with only minced meat without sauce and dried basil on top. It was NOT edible without a sip of water with every bite. Normal young grated cheese as so-called parmesan cheese on the side. It looked like a 10 year old had made it in the kitchen. Nothing Italian about it. If you have any doubts about cooking yourself, please cook it yourself. Because you will regret it. I ate my food in a hurry because I paid for it. This was the last time. Mona Lisa literally does not give a damn about how the food gets to the payer. By the way, screaming from a delivery person at 10 pm in the apartment complex. Please take the time and delivery into account. I am almost ashamed that the neighbors heard you shouting in front of my door and speaking Arabic on the phone through the apartment. Didn't seem like a delivery guy came by let's just say. Shameless really. Big bye Lisaaaaaaaa

Very salty pizza, the photos are misleading. Dirty place with a disinterested girl behind the counter. Nothing to do with good pizza.

We ate Italian pizzas. Not so good, not so bad… We are real clients, We came to this restaurant in person 3 people in total on last Sunday. There was a lady receiving order from us, a cook man in and another young man who is delivering the foods with the bike at your restaurant. I hope you remembered us. Yes, you have been renovating but at the same time you were selling the pizzas from your restaurant and you were receiving orders via phone. Please check the photos of your restaurant I shared. These photos already clearly shows that you are under renovation. I hope this explanation cleared your suspicion on our visit to your restaurant. If you serve better for the next time, I can give you better reviews. It depends on your serving performance.

I have been a regular customer for years. I had now indicated a delivery time, but due to an extremely late appointment, I was too late. Called, order was just on its way with the delivery person. (Actually just too early, but still my mistake) The delivery person went back and a little later I received an order that was still warm. Great service, thank you!

Tried it again a few times now, but no, all the energy is in the other branch, never dessert here. This is a bit of a shame

The food is super tasty, salad with chicken or shrimp, pasta, pizza, everything is highly recommended, the chefs are super nice, the staff inside and the delivery people too! Class

Ordered at 10:30 PM on Thursday evening via home delivery, which is quite late. The food was delicious, super fresh and arrived nice and hot. I would definitely recommend it and order here.

A great pizza place to have a quick bite. The pizzas are great and delicious, the service is kind and friendly and usually don't need to wait a lot to get your food. It was a good idea to come by and would recommend them. Thank you! (As a quick feedback, you might want to replace the Hungarian flag outside the restaurant to an Italian one. 🙂 )

Excellent Italian pizza with a normal base

We ordered Pizza for a company dinner. Besides the pizzas being tasty, the delivery person was great. He walked to the 4th floor with the 20 pizzas. The pizzas were also still piping hot, I don't know how they did that but that was quite noticeable. Recommended.

Mona Lisa has been my number 1 pizzeria for years. Pizzas with REAL Italian base. Crispy crispy. Ingredients are well balanced. The pastas are also very good.

Had to wait an hour for an order, but after calling twice, someone spoke via chat and said my order was on its way. Order here chili cheese nuggets was okay, the pasta bolognese was really gross and tasted like it came from a can, there was cheese that had already melted, no bread. 17 euros just wastes.

Ik durf wel te stellen dat ik relatief veel verschillende pizza quattro formaggi heb geprobeerd in mijn leven en dat dit bedrijf een van de beste maakt. De pizza is keurig in balans qua ingrediënten en dat maakt hem zeer lekker. Ik ben een vrij kritische proever naar mijn mening en deze pizzeria verdient een dikke voldoende! Tevens is de pizza shoarma zeer lekker en de optionele knoflooksaus maakt het helemaal af. Ik het talloze keren afgehaald, dat ging prima. De pizza is meestal binnen een minuut of 10 klaar. Het bezorgen gaat ook altijd prima: snel en de pizza is altijd nog lekker warm. Ik heb gevens het idee dat de bezorgers zeer betrokken jongens zijn, die het werk serieus nemen.

Wat ik had besteld was erg lekker.Goed eten .

It's a small corner pizzeria whose mainly focused on takeaway and delivery. Their pizza is very delicious and I recommend it to anyone who loves Italian style pizza. Tasty thin crust pizza.

Dit restaurant heeft geen idee hoe ze de bestelling moeten organiseren. Ik moest meer dan anderhalf uur wachten op mijn eten, en toen het eindelijk arriveerde, was het koud en smakeloos.

Ik had hoge verwachtingen van de bezorging, maar helaas werd ik teleurgesteld. Het eten was koud en de smaak was verre van vers. Bovendien ontbraken er bijgerechten die ik had besteld. Dit was een grote teleurstelling en ik zal hier niet meer bestellen.

Mooie pizza primavera, rijkelijk bestrooid met schilfers parmezaanse kaas, verse ui, rucola en tomaatjes. Hij was heerlijk.

Altijd heerlijk eten. Pizza's zijn heerlijk en altijd snel bezorgd (nog heet uit de oven). Mijn favoriete pizzeria.

Zojuist voor het eerst besteld. Heerlijke pizza, ook de risotto ballen met truffel zijn een grote aanrader. Bezorging was binnen een half uurtje, bezorger was keurig. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

ik bestel hier al jaren. de pizzas hebben een heerlijke dunne krokante bodem. en de pastas.... man man die zijn lekker.. in de afgelopen jaren altijd met plezier hier besteld. bezorging duurde soms wat langer. maar hoe langer je op iets wacht, des beter het smaakt.

Altijd goeie pizza, lage prijzen en snelle bezorging

Zojuist een heerlijke pizza Mexicana gegeten, een pizza met sucuk, pesto, jalapeño, uien. Ik weet niet hoe ze bij de naam mexicano komen maar deze pizza was verrukkelijk! Oja en de pizza was binnen 15 minuten klaar om opgehaald te worden. Wel wat duurder dan gemiddeld wat een minpunt is.

Great pizza, one of the best true Italian pizzas in Rotterdam. Excellent ingredients, and in generous quantity. I used to order from them weekly. Unfortunately they do not deliver to my area because they opened another shop nearby but which delivers only until 22:00 - way too early for me, as I usually come home from work at that time. Too bad. But if you are serviced by their delivery service, do not hesitate. Great pizza!

Super lekkere pizza's, er zit altijd genoeg beleg/groente op en zijn heel lekker gebakken! De bezorging is bij ons altijd super snel. De medewerkers aan de telefoon zijn ook aardig en de bezorgers zijn ook altijd netjes, zeker een aanrader!
