I had the chausseur and that is with duck. I thought it was a shame that the fat layer was not fried hard. The fish soup was very bland and did not taste like fish, but we were immediately allowed to choose something else when we said something about it. So well resolved. The boy who helped us first came to ask every 5 minutes if we wanted something to drink (when our glasses were not yet empty) and when they were empty he stopped. The rest of the food was very good. Especially for the very reasonable prices

Had dinner with colleagues and now I understand why you have to make a reservation so far in advance. The restaurant is located in a converted farmhouse, tastefully decorated. The food is relatively cheap compared to other restaurants nowadays but the quality is top! The wine is also excellent and for a reasonable price. Book well in advance, but then you will have a nice evening, excellent service, good quality products and all for a very reasonable price!

Went to Montimar for the first time tonight. Nice atmosphere, very friendly, hard-working employees. Delicious food. Worth repeating!

The food is really good! However, the service is very young and does not have an adult manager to manage them. After choosing the menu and during the meal, they are not asked once if you would like something to drink, or if everything is to your liking, it is very immature. and amateurish, and that's a real shame because the location and the food are really good. For us there is a reason to skip this location unfortunately......

Delicious fish soup, but could have used a little more shellfish or crustaceans. Tastes fine. Fish with asparagus also excellent, no choice in potato garnish, only fries. They can't make Irish coffee anywhere, unfortunately not here either. Price yes, where can you still eat for these prices? As far as I know, only at Montimar. 01-08-2024 We ate at Montimar again after a long time. Fish soup now contained shellfish, meat dishes were fine, again only fries and cucumber salad, ice cream and Irish coffee as an after dish. The Irish coffee is not made correctly, which is a shame. We no longer order those. We will eat there again on October 1. Today October 1st We had a delicious meal again with the new autumn menu.

Delicious food in an attractive and cozy location. There were 7 people, everything went smoothly. Staff is friendly, very helpful and alert. All praise for the chefs and other staff, we enjoyed it.

We have already eaten at several places, but for us this was the least Montimar. With the main course there was sand between the mussels (which can always happen if you don't rinse them enough). There were also dense mussels just lying around on the plate. We spoke to a young man about it and he resolved it promptly. Ordered a Dame blanch for dessert. And I understand that they want something different, but this dessert on a flat plate is almost impossible to eat. The chocolate remains where it is and for most people that is what you order it for. If you pass this on as a suggestion to the "management" of the service, you will not get the answer you thought you would get (thanks for the tip, I will pass it on to the kitchen) But next time you tell us, we'll throw it in a coupe, but we want to get rid of those classic desserts. If you want to get rid of a classic dessert, DO NOT put it on the menu. There is nothing more classic than a Dame Blanch! Most of the service was top notch, a shame about this one lady who should still be the example for the rest. But we will definitely eat at Montimar again, just not this one anymore.

Boys...... You just don't believe it. Montimar Mierlo... WOW 1. Food is perfect... I'm sad when it's over. I never come back anywhere for the food as often as I do here. 2. Personnel. My compliments. Many young people work at Monitmar. You won't believe it, but they have really been selected and they are friendly, smart, hospitable and really professional. 3. You do write down the prices. it is a miracle in Mierlo. Perfect and not expensive. prices are really normal at Montimar. Total. They are perfect and that is why you have to reserve months in advance. I always enjoy eating there.... I am a regular customer.

Delicious food again. Staff is friendly and the pace is good. The restaurant is very cozy and attractively decorated. The starter and main course were delicious. Chose the Autumn mess dessert this time but it was boring, it tasted fine but there was nothing exciting about it. As a tip I would like to give to the staff: 'walk a little slower and look at your guests, they might want to order something to drink in between'.

Food is deliciously made and allergies are taken into account. The service was a little less. So we got a lot of oil on your plate that it floated away now your food. Shame. And they messed it up well with the wine. Except in your glass. Furthermore, the atmosphere and conviviality were very good.

Have enjoyed delicious dishes here several times. Tasty, large portions and everything fresh. Often also seasonal. Extensive menu. Never had a disappointment.

Maybe it was because we didn't sit down until 8 p.m. and were therefore one of the last to order something, but we were very disappointed with the quality of the food. The mussels in the fish soup were bad, sometimes without content. The Black Agnes was a very dark red. The fries were not very crispy. The salad was of little value. The coffee at the end was really undrinkable. With the seeds on the bottom. Pieces of one plate had broken off. A shame, because the service and location were excellent.

This was the first time we ate here and were pleasantly surprised. The food is very tasty and prepared with love and skill. We had a tournedos and a steak, both grilled very tender. Many chefs can learn something from this! The staff is very friendly and neat. Definitely a must! Only "disadvantage", you really need months in advance because otherwise it fails to reserve.

I don't understand why people find this so special. Cheap prices that must be it. Main course not yet served after 2 hours. Busy tent..

Had dinner with 2 people last Saturday. Delicious food and excellent service. We sat on the beautiful terrace. The hostess (I believe her name was Sandra) had warned us in time about a heavy rain shower and offered us a new table, which fortunately kept us dry. Recommended!

The restaurant is located at a beautiful rural location. It feels a bit like an English pub. The price quality of the food is absolutely mind blowing. We ate and drank very well. We will go back 😁

Yesterday we had dinner with 7 people. Was the first time. Must say it was a pleasant positive experience. The welcome was warm and we had a round table in a separate room. The food was excellent and the service was very good and friendly. Black angus steaks and tournedos were very good and perfectly cooked. The other food, starters and desserts were good. It was quite busy but there was a relaxed atmosphere, no chaos. Definitely recommended, especially considering the price. Will go back again soon.

My experience with Monitmar was generally positive, with the exception of one aspect: the overcrowded restaurant. The booking process went smoothly but required extensive planning and the service was generally excellent. However, upon arriving at the restaurant I noticed that it was very full, which somewhat diminished the overall experience. food for a good price!

The restaurant is cozy and attractively decorated. The food is well prepared and really tasty. What's also nice is that you don't have to wait long for your food. You have to book well in advance if you want to eat here, but it is definitely worth it. They have a parking lot next to the restaurant, so you don't have to walk far. Food was good but not really special. By placing some walls/deviders, some separate "spaces" are created, which benefits the atmosphere and "the noise pollution". Price/quality is on the edge. Separate children's menu is ok, but the content of the children's menu with fries + frikandel, prawns or steak is somewhat strange.

Now for the first time at Montimar in Mierlo. Once again it was very tasty food in a beautiful, atmospheric restaurant. Good friendly service. Absolutely great!! We have been to Montimar Boekel several times because Mierlo was usually already full. I received fireworks with my dessert because of my birthday, very thoughtful!

Every time we come in with a nice feeling and afterwards we eat delicious food with plenty of variety. Everyone there is very friendly and caring. We have been coming to you soon for several years.

Heel gezellig. Alleen maar jong zichtbaar personeel. Heel vriendelijk zijn ze. Het eten smaakt voortreffelijk. De borden zijn mooi opgemaakt. Montimar heeft maar 1 nadeel (maar daar kan Montimar zelf niks aan veranderen); je moet heel ver van tevoren een tafel reserveren.

À chaque fois qu'on va au Montimar, c'est toujours un plaisir car on est bien accueilli, le personnel est très sympathique, le service est rapide même quand il y a beaucoup de monde, les mets sont fins, décoratifs et délicieux, le cadre est chaleureux, et l'addition est très correcte, c'est-à-dire que ce n'est pas cher. La carte ne propose pas un grand nombre de plats, ce qui est un gage de qualité car il faut se méfier de ces restaurants qui vous proposent une multitude de plats à la carte, c'est suspect. En conclusion, je recommande vivement ce restaurant, mais il faut réserver à l'avance car les places sont prises très rapidement (c'est un restaurant qui fonctionne uniquement sur réservation).

Eerste keer dat we hier geweest zijn. Waarschijnlijk ook de laatste keer. We konden nergens parkeren. Vervolgens was er geen tafel voor ons vrij, ondanks de reservering. Terwijl andere gasten die net als ons moesten wachten op een tafeltje wel een drankje van het huis kregen, waren ze ons daarin vergeten. Later spraken we gasten die door het personeel een soort van weggestuurd waren om dus vrije tafels voor ons te creëren. Het eten zag er leuk opgemaakt uit, maar miste echt smaak. Mijn tournedos die ik medium gebakken wilde, was eerder rauw en ook niet echt warm. Ze vergaten de salade te brengen. Positief deel was de prijs. Erg goedkoop. Maar ondanks dat waren wij echt niet tevreden.

Mooie locatie, heerlijk gegeten, en goed betaalbaar, daardoor wel heel lang vantevoren reserveren.
