If you want coffee from someone who genuinely enjoys what he does, Morjoy is the kind of place where you naturally linger. It sits right in the middle of one of Amsterdam's last quiet parks, which immediately creates a lovely atmosphere. The owner is simply a genuine, friendly man. He recognizes you, remembers what you like, and takes a moment for a chat without it feeling forced. You don't see that often anymore, especially not in Amsterdam. And the pastries… well, he makes them all himself. You can taste that they are made with care. I personally like to stop by after a walk through the park. Coffee, something sweet on the side, taking a breather — it lifts your spirits just that little bit.

Flevopark is absolutely my favorite park in Amsterdam! And that's made even more special by Morjoy's coffee! My boyfriend and I are always thrilled when he's there with his cute little car! We can never resist his delicious pastries.

Stavros brings joy to us when ever we drop by even if the weather isn't great, particularly in the mornings where nothing beats a lovely warm coffee at Flevopark after getting out of bed. In fact I look forward to seeing his minivan everytime I walk by!

I walked endless laps in the Flevopark. My baby preferred to sleep in the stroller than in bed. Without the coffee from MorJoy I would never have been able to do that. Now my child asks daily if we can go to the park for a babyccino and fig with walnut and oregano. Super tasty coffee, very good service: 10/10 recommend.

Since I know about this place I look forward my afternoon walks with my dog! My favorite is chai latte with a brownie but the blueberry cake is also delicious 🤤 I wish there would be more passionate and creative people like them, offering an alternative way to be a barista. If your fortunate to see this kind man at his stall I highly recommend a cappuccino, the stall is weather dependent but on a sunny day a nice homemade lemonade or a coffee walk round the park or enjoying the lake sat on a bench it’s the perfect little coffee stall.
