Mo'splace steenwijk in Steenwijk

Delicious! Tonight I ordered Roti with chicken and beans with rice and meat and bakabana with peanut sauce. Order was just ready when we arrived. We come from a neighboring village (+-15 minutes drive) but when we got home the food was still warm. The portions are more than enough for big eaters. Even the youngest of 3 ate well. When we went to eat, nostalgic thoughts about my wife's aunt came to mind. She is Surinamese and always prepared Roti when we came to eat. This is just as delicious. Authentic flavors as far as I can judge as a Dutch person. Friendly people, good food...we will definitely come more often! Greetings from Wolvega.

At De Opschepper, the food is always delicious and the service exceptionally friendly. We always enjoy coming here when we're in the area. For those who enjoy them, they have delicious local beers from De Verschoappeling; they're highly recommended!

Great little and cozy Italian restaurant in the middle of Steenswijk. As soon as you walk in you feel incredibly comfortable. The two younger service ladies were super friendly and accommodating, thank God English wasn't a problem either, as unfortunately neither of us can speak Dutch 🫣 We each had a pizza, once with salami and once with peppers and onions and as a starter bread stick, which I can only recommend and on our next visit I would probably order 2 or 3 portions instead of one 😅 it was really really tasty. Weer bijzonder genoten van het diner met bijpassende wijnen! Voor mij het diner zonder vlees, ook dat was heerlijk, met de wijnen die er bijzonder goed bij passen. Ook een lust voor het oog. Goede en attente gastheer.
