Great food. We had a sharing dinner. Good quality, plenty of it, and very affordable. It also has a nice atmosphere. There are some families with small children playing.

This afternoon we were greeted by very friendly staff. We were given plenty of time to make our choice and had a delicious meal. I'll definitely be bragging about this place and recommending it to my family and friends. It was fantastic!

Had dinner as a surprise for my 25th anniversary. The menu was extensive and delicious, and I enjoyed a delicious three-course meal. The chef's choice was my preference, but I requested no pork or vegan. My request was perfectly met, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere and service were excellent, highly recommended.

Our family of four ended our holiday there last week. We had three appetizers, four main courses, dessert, and of course, some drinks. It was delicious; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Nice place to eat. But there were a few drawbacks. After the main course, there was a long wait for dessert, so I ended up asking for it myself. The main course was delicious, the ice cream less so. It seemed like the ice cream had thawed and refrozen.

We had a fantastic meal. We had to wait a bit for our food, but that's how it should be, because it was more than worth it. The staff is very friendly. The decor is lovely and atmospheric. We'll definitely be back.

We were 8 people and served twice for 7...the 8th had to wait a round?? A bit strange. Main course and dessert. Everyone finished it and then the last one got his dessert. Very sloppy. We were here for the first time, but will there be a second time???

At the last minute we decided to eat here with our neighbors. The food was fantastically tasty and incredibly well grilled meat. The atmosphere is good and super friendly staff.

We had dinner here tonight and it was great in every way. Great service (thanks again Merel) and the food was delicious. My wife had a carpaccio and I had a chicken satay. More than enough side dishes - which were included - such as salad, fries and potatoes. Too much to eat it all. Finally, the bill was also very reasonable.

The restaurant looks cozy and the service is friendly. Wide choice on the menu, also enough for children. Unfortunately, the chicken we chose was still raw, which we only discovered halfway through due to the mood lighting. After indicating this, it was reheated and served again, but the brie was burnt and the dish was not as tasty anymore. As compensation, the desserts were supposed to be free, but when we got home on the receipt, it turned out that we had paid for them anyway. All in all, not a good experience, since raw chicken is really a no go.

The service was fine. The food was disappointing. I had surf and turf. The shrimps were good but the diamond tenderloin was very bad. It was 2 lumps of meat and that's all there was to it. Some overcooked vegetables that you couldn't see what it was. My husband thought his steak was good but had had better. There was a renovation going on so the back was covered in black construction plastic. The service was nice, but that's true...

For a very reasonable price we had a super tasty meal. One person had a problem with the menu. The service apologized a few times... a free cocktail... and after 7 minutes a new menu. How perfect. A charming restaurant in the center of Steenwijk. Friendly service and a varied menu, all reasonably priced. You can eat well here for relatively little money!

We had a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone at the table unanimously agreed: it was a very successful visit. Kudos to the waitresses. The restaurant was quite full, including a large group, but even with just the two of them, they managed to keep things under control. They regularly checked on drinks and whether everything was to our liking. We will definitely be back.

As a birthday present I received dinner at De Brasser. We opted for the Sharing dinner (always a surprise), but oh what a delicious meal we had. Was Great!

You really got an extreme amount of food, which in our opinion could have been a little less. Personally, we found it very busy due to the many children and noisy fellow guests. An excellent location with good service.

After the brag has become a la carte, it's a lot better! The quality of the food has improved significantly. We were seated at the back of the restaurant where the lighting was a bit brighter, so it was less cozy. But that was probably because there were a lot of reservations. Because I think that back part is always closed nowadays unless there is a party or whatever. Super friendly staff
