Bistro de Opschepper in Steenwijk

At De Opschepper, the food is always delicious and the service exceptionally friendly. We always enjoy coming here when we're in the area. For those who enjoy them, they have delicious local beers from De Verschoappeling; they're highly recommended!

First of all, a big compliment to the owner and his staff; they were all super friendly and great servers. The food was fantastic, highly recommended, and it was also very affordable. Bistro de Opschepper was excellent.

A very atmospheric restaurant with friendly service. The bavette steaks were perfectly cooked, and my sister chose multiple appetizers instead of a main course, which were neatly served simultaneously. Definitely worth a visit!

The four of us had a very nice meal away from our home. We found this place and it was fine.

We were 8 people and served twice for 7...the 8th had to wait a round?? A bit strange. Main course and dessert. Everyone finished it and then the last one got his dessert. Very sloppy. We were here for the first time, but will there be a second time???

At the last minute we decided to eat here with our neighbors. The food was fantastically tasty and incredibly well grilled meat. The atmosphere is good and super friendly staff.

We had dinner here tonight and it was great in every way. Great service (thanks again Merel) and the food was delicious. My wife had a carpaccio and I had a chicken satay. More than enough side dishes - which were included - such as salad, fries and potatoes. Too much to eat it all. Finally, the bill was also very reasonable.

The service was fine. The food was disappointing. I had surf and turf. The shrimps were good but the diamond tenderloin was very bad. It was 2 lumps of meat and that's all there was to it. Some overcooked vegetables that you couldn't see what it was. My husband thought his steak was good but had had better. There was a renovation going on so the back was covered in black construction plastic. The service was nice, but that's true...

The restaurant looks cozy and the service is friendly. Wide choice on the menu, also enough for children. Unfortunately, the chicken we chose was still raw, which we only discovered halfway through due to the mood lighting. After indicating this, it was reheated and served again, but the brie was burnt and the dish was not as tasty anymore. As compensation, the desserts were supposed to be free, but when we got home on the receipt, it turned out that we had paid for them anyway. All in all, not a good experience, since raw chicken is really a no go.

For a very reasonable price we had a super tasty meal. One person had a problem with the menu. The service apologized a few times... a free cocktail... and after 7 minutes a new menu. How perfect. Poties food more than enough. Praise to everyone in the kitchen and in the service. Thanks for the beautiful evening.

What a nice atmosphere in this restaurant. Very well visited with large groups but also with two people there is nothing missing. Delicious food. Friendly staff and what is noticeable also friendly prices. A real recommendation.

A charming restaurant in the center of Steenwijk. Friendly service and a varied menu, all reasonably priced. You can eat well here for relatively little money!

We had a delicious meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone at the table unanimously agreed: it was a very successful visit. Kudos to the waitresses. The restaurant was quite full, including a large group, but even with just the two of them, they managed to keep things under control. They regularly checked on drinks and whether everything was to our liking. We will definitely be back.

A very cozy bistro, with a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. The appetizer platter for two is highly recommended; we thoroughly enjoyed it!

As a birthday present I received dinner at De Brasser. We opted for the Sharing dinner (always a surprise), but oh what a delicious meal we had. Was Great!

You really got an extreme amount of food, which in our opinion could have been a little less. Personally, we found it very busy due to the many children and noisy fellow guests. An excellent location with good service.

Delicious food, more than enough, spare ribs wonderfully tender. wishes are heard and taken into account. Bread board more than enough spreads.

After the brag has become a la carte, it's a lot better! The quality of the food has improved significantly. We were seated at the back of the restaurant where the lighting was a bit brighter, so it was less cozy. But that was probably because there were a lot of reservations. Because I think that back part is always closed nowadays unless there is a party or whatever. Super friendly staff

كانت وجبة عشاء.. الأفضل أن تحجز قبلها وهذا حال اغلب المطاعم في المنطقة ، مع إن ماكان عندي حجز لكن تعاونوا بشكل جميل وعطوني ساعة أتناول فيها العشاء حتى موعد الحجز التالي وأظن انهم أعطوني أكثر من ساعة. الخدمة رائعة جدأ ومقدموا الخدمة رائعات وبشوشات وسريعات ومنتبهات للزبائن والمطعم جداً نظيف وكيفية التقديم جيدة ♥️ طبقي كان سالمون ويجي معاه خضار وسلطة وفرايز والنكهة الجميلة جداً كانت في الخضار أما السالمون كان مطبوخ جيدا لكن تقريباً بدون نكهة لكن يضبط مع إضافة شوية ملح السيئة الوحيدة واللي ماكنت أتمناها لما طلبت عصير برتقال فرش، كانت الصدمة في كميته. أقل كمية عصير ممكن تشوفها في حياتك ولما ناديت النادلة وسألتها قالت هذه هي الكمية الطبيعية للعصير ومارضت إني ألغيه ولا زادت الكمية للأسف، كأنهم يعاملون العصير معاملة الكحول في كميته وهذي مصيبة . ياليت ينتبهون لهذه النقطة لأن الكمية غير متناسبة مع السعر. مجموع اللي دفعته كان 25.25 يورو كانت بشكل عام تجربة جيدة

Heerlijke gerechten opgediend door een heel vriendelijke serveerster en dat alles voor een heel redelijke prijs. Net zoals de vorige keren was het weer geweldig. Een aanbeveling!

Vanavond met vrienden hier gegeten, gereserveerd via social deal. Eten was lekker maar je kreeg 1 heel klein schaaltje patat en coleslaw voor 4 personen geserveerd. Toen nog 1 klein schaaltje bij besteld waar €3,50 extra voor in rekening werd gebracht... Wij weten niet of dit bij alle gerechten zo zuinig wordt geserveerd of alleen bij de social deals reserveringen maar zo wordt de aanbieding toch nog duur betaald!

Goed restaurant in het mooie Steenwijk. Goed en zeer lekker eten op een leuke locatie. Aanrader.

Prima tent, eten was lekker maar niet super speciaal, bediening was goed en erg vriendelijk. Airco stond voor ons net ff te koud.

Afgelopen zaterdag heerlijk gegeten met ons gezin. Lekkere bavette, goede surf en turf van diamanthaas en kids plate was prima. Lekker ijs na en niet te weinig. Eerlijke prijzen, goede bediening en vlot goed heerlijk eten. Aanrader om hier te eten!

Had the best spareribs in the whole province here ( of all restaurants I have been to). The personnel are very capable + the taste of all that is served is perfect!

Eten was top (voor een goede prijs), zo ook de erg vriendelijke bediening. Qua sfeer is er nog wel wat te halen om iets meer eenheid in de zaak te krijgen (kleine verbouwing). Al met al een echte aanrader!
