Always delicious food, super friendly people

March 8, 25, drove 1.5 hours to eat here again just before my stomach reduction. The food was again delicious, it was not very busy, so if my ordered nasi from round 1 only arrives in round 3, then something is not going quite right. And while the children were still eating the desert, our little table was already cleaned, we were asked to pay and in a blink of an eye we were outside again, which was very unfriendly. And we also have the feeling that we paid for 1 extra person who had to stay home sick. Anyway, it's a bit of fun, but luckily we'll never do this again... Super tasty food with friendly service. Only point for improvement is the toilet door that I could no longer open because of the lock. Furthermore, the food is really tasty and special dishes. Will definitely come back here!

Especially at the beginning of the evening it was wonderfully quiet, later it got a bit busier. Service was very nice and personal, we got advice about the choices on the menu and the food was very good quality. Highly recommended!

Met 11 familieleden verjaardag gevierd bij Sushi King. Zaak is pas verbouwd en ziet er netjes uit, gratis parkeren voor de deur. Zeer vriendelijke bediening, snelle service. Veel verschillende gerechten besteld, alles was lekker en verzorgd. Geen zaak voor romantisch diner voor twee maar uitstekend adres om met groepje sushi te eten.

Ordered sushi from sushi king and some Chinese, spring rolls were missing, delivery man came back and said that the "boss" had packed it and that they were just included, well, sorry I'm not lying about a few stupid spring rolls, there were also a few sushis missing, I have that but kept my mouth shut to avoid other things, the food itself is fine, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it in terms of delivery and such

Well the first time was wrong!!! I came home and immediately started throwing up and ended up in the hospital due to food poisoning!!! Staff was unfriendly after we asked a question that they did not like and immediately let us know that it was unprofessional!!!

We were here on Boxing Day, and it was great! Food was delicious and very good. The food was also delivered quickly and nothing was forgotten. Management was very well coordinated and acted very quickly. The owner regularly came to ask if everything was okay. We would love to come back again soon.

Of the more than 12 sushi places I have visited, this one is in my top 3.

We have eaten there more often in the past, but not since the renovation. So I don't know what the atmosphere is like now. At the time it was decorated a bit like the 'old Chinese'. Had sushi delivered to my home last Friday and to my complete satisfaction. The delivery costs from Ridderkerk were only €3 and the food was tasty, as always. So we will do this more often if we want to eat sushi more quietly on Friday evenings.

I waited 1.5 hours for my order. The order was not complete and another 1.5 hours later they brought the rest. I had guests at home so I'm quite disappointed. Never order here again!

I have eaten sushi many times at different restaurants. But this case takes the cake. Reserved at 7 o'clock, only got a table at 8 o'clock and waited with at least 30 people until there was room... once a place was available, only after half an hour of sushi and then getting sushi that is not tasty, little taste and if you say something about it then they get angry. Never again. What a crappy thing.

Years ago they were good! I celebrated my birthday 3 times with a group of people and always gave a good tip! And the last time I got sushi that I had not ordered and I had indicated that and the staff member said I will take it with me! I said that's fine and then just charge! So sad! Never again!

Yesterday we had dinner here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our daughter wanted to treat herself, and the evening started promisingly. The atmosphere was good and we were looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the evening ultimately turned out to be a major disappointment. The food itself was fine, actually just tasty, that wasn't the problem. But the service and customer friendliness left much to be desired. From the moment we sat down we were continuously pressured to order drinks. Even when our glasses were still half full, someone came every few minutes to ask if we wanted something to drink. This created an unpleasant, almost uncomfortable atmosphere. What was really the worst: we were asked four times if we had finished eating, while we were still waiting for the next course. After the fourth round we were not offered a new menu, as if we were already full. Don't get me wrong, I understand that many people have had enough at that point, but if you offer 'all you can eat', you have to keep that promise. We didn't order everything for every round because we wanted to take it easy, but when we politely asked for a new menu, we were looked at as if we were asking for something strange. After some insistence, we finally received a new card. But even then things went wrong. The card was returned, but our order never went through. While we waited, we were asked again if we had finished eating. At that moment it really felt like we were not welcome. We ended up having to order our dessert before we even had a chance to receive the next round. The dessert was hastily thrown on the table and before we had even taken our last bite of ice cream, a cloth was brought over the table and we were asked if we wanted to pay. What do you mean, celebrate your birthday in a relaxed way and have a nice dinner? I understand very well that restaurants have to make a profit, but customer service costs nothing extra. This really put a huge damper on an evening that should have been special.

Gisteren hebben we hier gegeten om de verjaardag van mijn vrouw te vieren. Onze dochter wilde trakteren, en de avond begon veelbelovend. De sfeer was goed, en we hadden er zin in. Helaas is de avond uiteindelijk uitgelopen op een grote teleurstelling. Het eten was op zich prima, eigenlijk gewoon lekker, daar lag het niet aan. Maar de service en klantvriendelijkheid lieten zwaar te wensen over. Vanaf het moment dat we gingen zitten, werden we continu onder druk gezet om drankjes te bestellen. Zelfs toen onze glazen nog halfvol waren, kwam er om de paar minuten iemand vragen of we nog iets wilden drinken. Dit zorgde voor een onprettige, haast ongemakkelijke sfeer. Wat echt het ergste was: we werden wel vier keer gevraagd of we klaar waren met eten, terwijl we nog aan het wachten waren op de volgende gang. Na de vierde ronde kregen we geen nieuwe menukaart aangeboden, alsof we al vol zouden zitten. Begrijp me niet verkeerd, ik snap dat veel mensen op dat punt genoeg hebben gehad, maar als je ‘all you can eat’ aanbiedt, moet je die belofte ook nakomen. Wij hadden niet bij elke ronde alles besteld omdat we het rustig aan wilden doen, maar toen we vriendelijk om een nieuwe kaart vroegen, werden we aangekeken alsof we iets vreemds vroegen. Na wat aandringen kregen we uiteindelijk een nieuwe kaart. Maar zelfs toen ging het fout. De kaart werd ingeleverd, maar onze bestelling kwam nooit door. Terwijl we wachtten, werd er opnieuw gevraagd of we klaar waren met eten. Het voelde op dat moment echt alsof we niet welkom waren. Uiteindelijk moesten we ons dessert bestellen voordat we überhaupt de kans kregen om de volgende ronde te ontvangen. Het toetje werd haastig op tafel gesmeten en nog voordat we onze laatste hap ijs hadden genomen, werd er al een doek over de tafel gehaald en gevraagd of we wilden afrekenen. Hoe bedoel je ontspannen je verjaardag vieren en gezellig uit eten? Ik begrijp heel goed dat restaurants winst moeten maken, maar klantvriendelijkheid kost niets extra. Dit was echt een enorme domper op een avond die bijzonder had moeten zijn. ps. onze gehele tijd aanwezig was minder dan 2 uur. van 17:00 tot nog geen 19:00

Went for dinner tonight, the interior had been freshened up and looked fantastic. We had a very pleasant and delicious meal and will be back soon. Definitely recommended for people who love sushi, the other dishes are also delicious.

Unfortunately, after the renovation with perhaps more seats, the speed of prepared dishes and service has also become slower. This means that as a guest you have to wait longer. It seems more chaotic and that starts at the entrance, which opens directly into the dining room where people are immediately welcomed to go to the table. When it is busy there are sometimes people waiting at the entrance and 'standing' as if looking at your plate. Previously you had a few dishes on the table and now sometimes only two and too long a break in between. If you sit for 2 and a half hours for 3 rounds, which was previously 1 half hour, you will be gone faster without ice cream or coffee, which is a disappointment! The interior looks better, but I don't think that's what you come for!

Matuya on Koningsplein is a lot better, sushi is fresh, almost lukewarm, quality is much better than that business store on Groen v Prinstererweg. The sushi is prepared well in advance and is served stone cold. No, I don't recommend it to everyone. ..

You can enjoy delicious food here. There is a lot on the menu, including plenty of vegetarian snacks and delicious desserts. Something for everyone. The service is fast and nice. They sometimes also come and have a nice chat with you. So it is a nice place with good food that I have been visiting regularly for years.

We regularly order from Mountain Spring for home delivery. The delivery people are always friendly and have a nice chat. The food is of excellent quality and there is a lot of variety. Highly recommended!

Home delivery: the quantity was incorrect. When delivering to your home, they do not indicate that you only get 2 pieces for the price of 4. Please pay close attention to this. I paid 25 euros for only 6 pieces. All other dishes supposedly contain the numbers. Please don't flash.

Beste sushi in town! Personeel heel vriendelijk. Inrichting lijkt al 30jaar niet veranderd maar daar smaakt het niet minder om.

Voorheen vaak met succes daar gedineerd. Nu zeer teleurstellend. De sushi's waren oud. De rijst uitgedroogd. In het ijs als toetje zaten stukken bevroren water. Het geheel was niet vers, niet goed. Dat werd 's nachts bevestigd door misselijkheid en diarree. We voelden ons behoorlijk ziek. En dat voor een rekening van ongeveer 90 euro voor 2 personen. Ook het toilet was vies. Hier gaan we nooit meer naar toe.

Dit is een prima sushi restaurant waar je heerlijk ontspannen kunt gaan eten. Het personeel doet hard zijn/haar best om je een goede ervaring te geven. Naast sushi zijn er ook allerlei andere hapjes te bestellen!

Gewoon weer eens lekker gegeten.

Het is altijd gezellig ook met het personeel. Vriendelijk en altijd tijd voor een dolletje. De wijn mogen we niet vergeten de Japanse pruimenwijn heerlijk. En het eten is altijd goed. Je moet bijna elke dag reserveren want het zit vol.

Bestelling ging soepel, we werden netjes gebeld dat de vriendelijke bezorgster in de file stond en daardoor iets later was. Bezorgster was super vriendelijk en het eten was heel lekker! Komen en bestellen hier in doe toekomst graag vaker!

Voor een all you can eat restaurant is deze sushi best goed te doen. Genoeg keus, het werd vers bereid en de dame van het restaurant was erg vriendelijk. Wij gingen op een doordeweekse dag om te lunchen. Heerlijk rustig. Interieur is een beetje ouderwets maar ondanks dat toch klein en gezellig. In Ridderkerk staat Hana voor mij op nummer 1 maar ik kom hier zeker nog wel een keer terug om te lunchen.

Al jaren mijn favoriete sushi tent. Vanavond weer heerlijk genoten van de diverse bijzondere sushi gerechten. Vaak net wat anders dan de rest. Sfeer is top en super vriendelijk personeel. Dikke 10 ✅👍🏻

We got a winner over here💯 Echt genoten gisteren van heerlijke sushi in dit restaurant!! Genoeg keuze, alles zag er heerlijk uit en was merkbaar vers. Alles smaakte daarom super! Iedereen in de bediening is vrolijk en maakt graag een kort praatje, wat het nog gezelliger maakte hier. Ondanks dat het een zaterdag was en het restaurant goed vol zat, kwamen de gerechten nog snel aan onze tafel. Dus wachten hoefde totaal niet. Wij komen zeker snel terug!😊
