Mr Gyros in Wijk 00

Unfortunately, I forgot to put taziki on the gyros buns. As a result, they are very dry. Not as good as they used to be.

The food was very salty. Otherwise, the taste was fine, and the service was good too.

Unfortunately, everything was very salty. We have eaten there several times before. Last time, I didn't have a problem with that. With too much salt.

A small eatery in Leiderdorp. It has more the vibe of a snack bar than a pub or similar. Very friendly staff. We chose the beef kebab, cheese, and gyros. Quite a large meal. Very tasty. Good value for money. We were able to take the leftovers home. Definitely recommended.

Tasty food and fast delivery, mind you, but you'd be better off bringing the sauce from home. 1.75 for half a container of sambal, totally insane...

Ordered food here today, what a disappointment. Dry meat, soggy fries, and 2 small bowls of sauce. Not recommended for me.

We had ordered food, which never arrived. We even called 10 minutes before closing time and no one answered. We waited for more than 2 hours, eventually had to cook ourselves, but had problems with that because all the supermarkets were already closed by then. We called back the next day, during which the branch manager summarily said it wasn't my problem and hung up.

We had ordered in the morning and very politely selected a delivery time of 5:45 PM. Apparently, Mr Gyros views that more as a non-binding suggestion, because at 5:05 PM the delivery driver was already at the door. At that moment, not everyone was home yet, so we couldn't accept the order. No problem, you would think. At 5:35 PM they did indeed return. Unfortunately, with exactly the same order. I admire the sustainability philosophy, but hot Greek food doesn't improve after driving around the neighborhood for half an hour. The result was, therefore, a lukewarm meal. Furthermore, the “tzatziki salad” turned out to be a culinary experiment. My definition of a salad contains at least something that can be chewed. At Mr Gyros, it consisted mainly of sauce. The fact that the description and photo on Thuisbezorgd suggest something completely different is, according to them, apparently merely artistic inspiration. All in all, not a disastrous experience, but one where I will probably look for a different Greek restaurant next time. Greek cuisine deserves better than a time machine, cold gyros, and a salad disguised as a sauce. 🇬🇷🙂

The food is good, the girl and the service too. It is a shame, though, that the 5 euro tip was given too late; the transaction had to be set up again for the payment. There really wasn't time for that. Sweet of him, but actually too busy with my customers for this. That is a disappointment for a 13-year-old who is treating. Would he have said that to one of the adults as well? I don't think so.

The gyros was there from ages, already is small pieces. They reheated it by adding some water. The final result was a bad pita gyros, also difficult to digest. I won't go back.

The food was brought in a small plastic bag; inside the bag, a container of garlic sauce had burst open, covering everything in sauce. The food was terribly bad. The meat bifteki and bone-dry gyros were way too spicy and terribly salty, very disgusting. 1.5 hours after eating, I am still trying to get a nasty, bitter aftertaste out of my mouth. The tzatziki wasn't good either, and the fries were undercooked; how do they manage that? The only thing that was tasty was the single Kalamata olive in the tzatziki sauce. All in all a big flop for 25 euros.

The food there is tasty and affordable.

A really good restaurant for a delicious meal without a high bill! We did find one downside: the music was very loud, which is why it doesn't get a 5th star from me... Apart from that, definitely recommended.

Today I ordered food online again, as always, very tasty, 1 souvlaki was missing, I called and it was delivered within 3 minutes, very neat, next time I will definitely order again as always

It's pricey here, but you definitely get your money's worth. The bifteki are well-seasoned, with a nice smoky flavor, perhaps a tad too salty, but still excellent.

The meat was very dry. No sauce at all, just meat, fries, and a tiny bit of onion in the pita. The meat is grilled for hours, making it very dry. The pita was ready within two minutes of ordering.

The food arrived cold, only 10 minutes after ordering, and seemed reheated. Normally, it's very good, but now it's so bad. How is this possible? I'm hoping for a refund; they've retrieved it and haven't received anything back yet. I find this very disappointing.

After 2 hours and 20 minutes I finally received my food. I called in between. They said it had already been delivered. This was not the case. It was prepared again. In between I was called back saying it was strange because the order had been delivered and accepted by a young blonde woman. I was told again that no one had been at the door. It would be delivered. After fifteen minutes I was called to come downstairs because they did not open the door and it had just gone wrong. I live in a courtyard! The delivery person was at the wrong address again! The food itself was dry. Never order here again.

The food is good and tasty, but delivery always takes a very long time. Waited more than 90 minutes and called twice. You'd better hop on your bike.

I ordered a pita chicken fillet with fries and garlic sambal on the side. I got a wet bag with fries and taztiki sauce instead of garlic sambal. I called afterwards to indicate that I had not received the sauce after which the owner blamed me. He indicated that it is not on the receipt so I am out of luck. I tried to explain to the owner that I do not make the receipts but his staff writes it down incorrectly but I kept getting a big mouth. All in all NEVER order here again arrogant jerk!

Very nice food here. The people are also super nice!

He is an honest gentleman who indicated that his food is not halal. So I ordered the vegetarian food and it was delicious. Thank you, honesty is rewarded.

Meat tastes great and staff very friendly. In summary: Mr Gyros is a keeper for me.

Waited 2 hours for our food.... When they called, they could not provide any information as to whether it was already on its way or being prepared. The second phone call, according to this catering company, was at the door on the way and I opened the bag and everything was mixed up and it was cold and it contained sambal which I had explicitly not ordered. And again 40 euros lighter. Apparently running a catering business is quite difficult for these people. I would never order food from here again. And thanks for the intestinal complaints from this dog food.....

Big four stars. Mr Gyros always arrives on time and the taste of the dishes is consistent. The gyros are generous, the souvlaki highly recommended, bifteki excellent, satay ok, dolmadakia changeable (but that may well be my fault), the fries are usually fine (but order separately of course, because if it disappears under the same aluminum foil it becomes soggy. We don't like that). It is also nice that you can order tailor-made for a larger order and that they will think along with you.

Ja het is warm binnen maar het eten is en blijft geweldig. Heerlijke schotel met lekkere patat. Aanrader. Je kan ook laten bezorgen uiteraard. Komt warm aan.

Heb de grote pita gyros gehaald en een baklava. De pita’s smaakten goed. Baklava was een totale teleurstelling. De lagen waren niet knapperig en eerder nat ongebakken deeg dan baklava; en er zaten weinig walnoten tussen. Geen echte griekse baklava dus…

Aanrader!! Voor het eerst hier besteld en voor herhaling vatbaar. De kleine pita gyros vond ik al groot. Knapperige koolsla, veel vlees en voldoende saus. Bij de patat gyros was de saus appart en dus de patatjes nog knapperig. Top. Snel bezorgd
