I ordered €137 worth of sushi, including various menus. The delivery driver served me sushi in a bowl of soup. I couldn't serve it properly for my guests. I called them and they said to send an email and see what was going on. Last time, it was the exact same problem. I sent an email and never received a response. They had put eel on the regular sushi, even though it should have been served separately. Serve it properly.

Unfortunately, the sushi was disappointing. The rice was sticky, the salmon didn't look good quality, and the sushi pieces were very thickly cut. The biggest problem, however, was the service. We called to share our experience, but received mostly counterarguments instead of understanding. No apology was offered, and there was no willingness to help or solve the problem. We don't consider this customer service. Due to this poor service, this is a 1-star rating.

1 star. We're from germany and wanted to have a nive weekend trip in beautiful Utrecht but our first evening here was directly ruined; Very rude staff who were not willing to help us. We ordered via Lieferando and unfortunately received the wrong order. One of the bowls was very spicy, even though we specifically chose something that should not have been spicy. On the phone, there was then a discussion for over 10 minutes insisting that everything was correct. But it was not the right order, since we had ordered something that was not supposed to be spicy. We were even accused of lying, although we simply said on the phone that we were just hungry and can't eat something that's that spicy.

We have been ordering here for almost 10 years, but we will not do so anymore. Ordered for 160 euros, nothing was fresh. All rolls fall apart, some just look like they will make you sick, the rice is completely yellow. Tried to eat a few things but it all tastes really weird. The shrimps are completely mushy in the rolls, the wasabi smells weird, even the edamame beans are yellow.

I've ordered here for years and it's still my favourite sushi place for take out. Consistent quality, fair prices and fresh sushi (I love it when the rice is still a little warm from the rice cooker). Delivery times are also almost always faster than I expect for fresh sushi. I also like how they add new things to the menu now and then, my favourite being the flamed salmon ebi roll, to die for!!

If I could give less than 0 stars, I would be happy to do so. This business must close its doors immediately, because customer friendliness is hard to find and the quality of the sushi is 0.0. When you call and complain, they play a yes/no game. The customer is certainly not king with them. A customer-friendly business thinks in solutions, but they continue to discuss. Hopefully the doors will close ASAP because if this continues customers will end up with food poisoning.

I placed a large order today. It took over an hour for the sushi to arrive. But that wasn't even the worst. The shrimp were cold, and so was the rest of the sushi! In short, it was inedible. I then contacted this sushi place. It was their word against mine. I wasn't believed and according to them I was the first who didn't like their sushi. Well! Judging from the reviews, we are not the only ones. And then you answer the reviews: to contact us via email. You don't even want to come up with a solution by calling, let alone by email. The owner could be heard angry in the background over the telephone. He didn't speak kindly to me either. As a true sushi connoisseur, I will never come here again! Never again for us.

On Wednesday, September 18, I placed an order with Mr. Sushi Utrecht, with the request to have it delivered at 6:00 PM. Unfortunately, this did not go according to plan at all. After calling twice, the order was not delivered until 7:15 PM, more than an hour later than agreed and with only half of the order. I immediately called again about this and was promised that I would get the money back for the missing products. I would also be called back by a responsible person for a suitable solution. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for that phone call and the money. All in all a very disappointing experience: poor communication, late delivery and incomplete food. Definitely not recommended. I certainly understand the low rating.

Edit: I stopped by again after a year later; I got a poke bowl. For €15 you get a tiny bowl with few ingredients and fish that tastes very fishy and old. Meanwhile, my toilet turns tricolor. Then called with a different phone than the order number provided, they answered and promised us that it was on its way. Ordered sushi, a box that I often order from mr sushi (just not yet at this location), tasted delicious, delivery was great. But after eating the sushi, within 5 minutes I suddenly got blisters in the corners of my mouth, and a light yellow spot on my tongue. I don't have any fish allergies, I recently ate some sushi stuff that I also had today, and had no problems. It seems like a reaction to the food, hygiene. I started rinsing my mouth and I hope this isn't a permanent thing like a cold sore.

Order placed, accidentally paid twice, after which a refund was promised. After being unable to get any further by telephone several times, I decided to visit after 2 weeks. Spoken here by a screaming woman without any standards of decency who makes no effort to find a solution. It's unbelievable that you don't seem to value your customers in this day and age. Never order here again. Btw: the place is very run down and a big mess. Bicycles were stored inside and bicycle batteries are charged in front of the counter. Very unprofessional and unattractive. Angry customers time 😊. Just got sushi for 70 euros at 1:00 PM. Everything looked very neat. Fifteen minutes later I take a bite of the sushi roll at home and the avocado is super hard and brown. It's really not that hard to eat. So I just call them. Tell me my problem and immediately get something unintelligible shouted down the phone. I ask for solutions and still shout. So I'll go back and ask for my money back because at that point I'm already done with it. First, don't get a refund because I've already eaten 2 pieces of the roll (they were 2 large bowls and one of them has never been opened). Of course, I say that you have to taste it first before you realize that it simply cannot be eaten. But yes, the lady keeps talking loudly, a bit aggressively, about how their avocado is really good. I have already ordered from them more than 10 times (can anyone use my 3 euro discount code? SPMTU1P3) and I know for sure when their sushi is not good. In the end I got 30 euros of the 70 euros back because the bowl was still closed. Really scandalous. For people who are also going to have a problem here, they don't talk to you and are defensive about everything. I shared the remaining sushi that was still edible (which did not contain avocado) with two less fortunate men on the street.

As a regular customer of Mr Sushi & Miss Wok, I unfortunately had to call this time about the poor quality of the order. I was not used to this from them. Bad taste, messy, not up to temperature. Sushi De Luxe and crisis salmon. Leave half of the food behind. To my surprise, everything is contradicted by telephone, even by someone who says he is the boss himself. Very unprofessional! A lesson in dealing with customers and complaints would be appropriate here. In the absence of any adequate response, I disconnected myself out of helplessness. We remain a fan of sushi, but we will look for a new address.

Bad service. Order arrived late (but with apologies). An item was not included, so we called immediately and were told that the camera images had to be checked to see whether it had actually not been provided and then it would be resent. Called an hour later because I heard or had nothing. It turned out that the boss wasn't there, so camera footage couldn't be checked, but if it came they would check it right away. It is now 2 days later, no message has been received and the sushi has not been received, but I have paid for it.

I ordered here several times during the week. Good service and contrary to other reviews, the estimated delivery time (an hour to the Uithof) was always correct. The sushi tastes good and is affordable, but is slightly less fresh than the competition. I must say that I have never ordered anything from the chip shop.

Lady says that it is very busy again and is now going out with a “Discount” for yet another inconvenience!!! And had to wait 1.5 hours for that. I'm really not critical on Friday evening, but it could have gone straight into the trash. I called the restaurant with shame and was downright rudely turned away. Horrible service!! I ordered two hours in advance of my desired delivery time (lunch hour at work) and they still couldn't show up on time. I ordered the food to arrive at the start of my lunch break and work, and after an hour of waiting they never showed up!! I ended up having to call and get my money back. I'm never ordering from you again.

The first order arrived much too late. As a consolation, I received a few extra rolls as compensation for the next order. With the second order weeks later it took more than 2 hours and 10 minutes for the delivery person to arrive. (After we had already called twice..). The food was okay, but waiting more than 2 hours for the food is unacceptable. I will never order from here again.

Ordered red thai curry!!! and it was no where near to authentic one. instead of red thai coconut curry it was red thai oil curry.
