I eat there sometimes, the food is very good. It's a shame they don't offer delivery anymore, though. I used to order from them often. Very convenient for work and one of the better ones in the area. They also have healthier options, and they're fast. They're still listed on Thuisbezorgd or on their website, but then you only get a takeaway option. Such a shame.

After making a reservation at 5:00 PM, we still had to wait 5-10 minutes for our table. The menu looked fine, but many dishes had a €1 surcharge, even for regular sushi and dishes from the meat menu. I found this quite odd. I ordered a sashimi mix: salmon and tuna combined with what I call "Xi" beef tataki, which is strange in itself, but it was just a cold steak in three thick slices with little flavor, which resulted in a €8.50 surcharge. Then I ordered the lamb rack, another €1 surcharge, but it was a lamb chop with a lot of fat and a bad taste. For dessert, you can choose from macarons, but skip those; they tasted chemically and spoiled, and maybe they were. Both my girlfriend and I needed to use the restroom during the night. This is obviously not good and immediately ensures we'll never come here again. All in all, a bad experience 👎

Beautiful restaurant with delicious sushi! It was very busy, so despite having a reservation, we still had to wait for a table. Mr Xi has a very extensive menu with nice items I haven't seen at other sushi restaurants, like the sakura roll. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the other dishes (anything that wasn't sushi). There's also a wide selection of desserts, which at other restaurants is often limited to ice cream, fried plantains, sesame balls, and fruit. I really enjoyed the crème brûlée, but the portion was a bit too small. The matcha cheesecake was tasty, but it had almost no matcha flavor. All in all, we had a delicious meal and we definitely recommend Mr Xi again! 🍣 3.5/5

Ordering via your phone's barcode isn't working well...you keep getting disconnected and it's not very convenient. This makes ordering your food take longer. Was having ayce reservation here (all you can eat). Variety of menu. Different type of sushi available (nigiri, maki, roll, etc). Just sad on the sashimi section: it cost 4eur more per portion… There are some menu that cost 1-3eur more as well. Love the sakura roll, umami fish with sweet and fresh sakura sprinkles. Their tempura is also coated well, might be storebought but it works. Sad about the meat, as it is not marinated and just cooked on wok with sauces. Overall of 4/5: there’s big potential here. Dessert option: nice and light. Hope they have fruit sorbet or punch in the future. One more thing: iced ocha! Hope they have one soon, it is the crucial part of ayce culture (at least in asia)!

It's very stuffy inside, with tables very close together. The food was mediocre, nothing special. The staff was friendly, except for the manager/supervisor. We were there on a weekday, and it wasn't full. Something went wrong with the payment; I had already paid for the food. Normally, you make a reservation through the online store, but this wasn't working. So, I booked through their own website, stating that I had already paid through a different website and asking if this was okay. They also provided a phone number if this wasn't possible. When I went to pay, they called the manager, who was very unfriendly, demeaning, and arrogant. I wasn't allowed to make a reservation through their own website and had to pay anyway because we apparently arrived 30 minutes earlier than the official timeframe with our vouchers. He didn't mention anything about my reservation comment; this could easily have been avoided. After a genuine 10-minute discussion, and us refusing to pay double, he finally approved it. This restaurant left a very bad taste in my mouth.

It's all you can eat concept, you have time slot of 2 hours. The sushi quality is average, with too much mayo on top. I was told later there’s an option to order sushi without sauce. You order via your telephone and can order up to 3 portions per round per person. Nigiri comes as only one piece per portion. The fish in the sushi was warm, rather than cold or chilled. The service is very friendly and quick, and the place itself is nice.

Enjoyed dinner at MR Xi today. We normally go to either Shabu or Tuniku and I can now rate them together. The atmosphere at Xi is definitely better and during summer time it is nice to sit outside, which none of the others have. Regarding the sushi I think Yuniku is the best of all three. Regarding the teppanyaki style food we noticed that at the center of the plate the food was warm, the sides already cold. Definitely a point of improvement compared to the others. Regarding price I think it is fair, I personally find each time I overeat and in fact what I do is order with the family what we like. Last time for 5 at Yuniku for 105 euro and everyone was stuffed. Much better deal and you can do the same here too. Then again you are eating at home and not out... long story short a good place to go to.

First time eating at MR Xi. Large space, beautifully and atmospherically decorated. The corners and partitions prevent it from being one big, echoing room. You can sit quite intimately. It is noisy, though. Large open kitchen and a large bar at the back of the restaurant. You can place orders per table using a QR code on your mobile phone. A tablet would be much more convenient. You can pass the tablet around and everyone fills in their own dish(es). Currently, one person is entering everything for the entire table on their mobile phone. The five of us noticed that you're constantly busy with numbers, the dishes, and checking if everything is there, etc. The images on the app are too small, and having just one menu is awkward. (We requested a separate menu later.) The app frequently crashes, requiring you to rescan the QR code. Orders weren't always received correctly; we waited about half an hour for one round. In another round, we only received 3 of the 15 dishes. When we asked about this, the staff corrected it, entered it manually, and checked it for accuracy. It makes for a messy, disruptive way to enjoy a meal together. The food/dishes (sushi and various hot dishes) are all very tasty, well-prepared, and neatly served. One drawback: it's very salty. All in all, it's perfectly manageable for two people, and you still have a good overview. I don't think it's ideal for larger groups.

Following previous good experiences, we returned to MR XI. Although we had a nice meal and the evening started off well, we unfortunately went home disappointed. We had made a reservation and paid for two hours of All you can eat at 8:15 PM. You enter, sit down and order something to drink, so that you can start the first round at 8:30 PM. So at 9:30 PM we had just been eating for a little over an hour when we were told that the kitchen was closing. We could still quickly order a dessert as the last round.. This felt rushed and unpleasant and I also indicated this to the serving staff. Unfortunately, they did not come up with a solution other than “you can still quickly order something”. There was no point in ordering more because we had already ordered a dessert as requested. When making a reservation at 20:15, we were not informed that the kitchen would close at 21:30, while we left at 22:00. In addition, MR XI sells 2 hours of All you can eat for the full price, while we only had an hour to order food. Of course, I immediately expressed my disappointment to the staff, who then did nothing about it and presented us with the full bill. Outrageous. So pay attention! do not book this restaurant after 19:30! You understand that we left your restaurant disappointed this evening. No more MR XI for us!

I visited this sushi place recently, and while the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly, the food left much to be desired. To begin with, the teriyaki sauce tasted like little more than salty soy sauce—completely lacking the balance of sweetness and depth that teriyaki should have. The fried items were overwhelmingly greasy and heavy, making them difficult to enjoy. As for the desserts, they were extremely watery and lacked any real flavor or texture—especially disappointing given that they contained milk, which should provide richness, not thinness. But the biggest culinary offense? They used sriracha sauce on the sushi. Sriracha. On sushi. That’s not creativity, that’s just a complete misunderstanding of flavor pairing. It overwhelmed the delicate ingredients and turned each bite into a confusing, spicy mess. Overall, I found the food to be poorly executed and, frankly, unpleasant. Despite the nice setting and kind service, I won’t be returning.

Ate here for the first time and saw many variations between sushi and Chinese dishes. Nice modesty of sushi sizes so that you could taste more other dishes. QR scan code and ordering food via your smartphone went smoothly and ordered dishes were served at a nice pace. Prices of drinks are affordable. I saw verdejo bottle for 20 euros. Soft drinks 3.20, bottle of water 0.75l for 8.50 a bit on the expensive side. Cocktails 13.50 minimum. The two of us paid 83 euros. I think that is a reasonable price. Will happily come again with other friends. 1thing. The garage below closes at 9:00 PM! We got outside around 9:20pm and my car was locked in the garage with lights off and no access. Fortunately, I was able to zoom in with my smartphone camera to find the telephone number for malfunctions or emergencies outside closing hours. Received friendly help and was able to drive out again within 2 minutes. Next time we'll go to the garage a little further away. If you leave before 9:00 PM, this garage is certainly suitable because the first hour of parking is free. Then €1.50 per 20 minutes.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our daughter's birthday, who loves sushi. I made a reservation and paid 87.85 euros in advance for food and 33.05 euros for drinks, wine and juice for three people. Then we ordered a beer, a bottle of Fanta 0.3 and a coke for 20 euros. The first plate of sushi was served half an hour after ordering via barcode, and 45 minutes later another small plate of shrimps. Although you can place an order via the internet every 10 minutes using a barcode. The Dutch people were sitting nearby, they were served faster. I don't speak Dutch because I am Ukrainian and have not yet learned the language. But my brother speaks Dutch well. When we asked the manager and the waiters why it took so long for our order to be brought, they explained that it had taken a long time to prepare our food. That is why they extended our stay in the establishment. We explained that we didn't have much time, two hours was enough to eat and leave. I felt like I was begging them to bring me sushi, even though I had paid enough for it. I felt completely discriminated against. I don’t think rice and fried fish, rolled up and covered in sauce, or those 100 grams of shrimp on a plate cost a fortune. They could have served three portions of sushi per person at once, then we would have left immediately. Finally, after three hours, two more plates of sushi were brought. We ate half of them, because we had drunk enough water beforehand. We sat there for 140 euros in a cramped, very noisy space. There is an incredibly loud noise, like bees buzzing in a beehive. It is so cramped, the tables are so close together, that the waitress, while clearing the table next to her, held the tray above my head and threw the leftover food at me. Everyone saw it. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my life. For the same money, you can have sushi delivered to your home better. The sushi will then be delivered within 20-30 minutes, still warm and enough for three people to eat at home in a clean, quiet, calm and comfortable environment, without nerves, stress or a spoiled mood.

In december eerder gegaan had toen 2 keer een haartje gevonden in mijn eten, kreeg daarna echt niks meer naar binnen en had gezworen nooit meer te komen. Ten eerste zijn de managers enorm asociaal, arrogant en respectloos tegen wat bedieners (niet allemaal, een hoop worden ook voorgetrokken). Je mag je bij de bediening onderling niet overleggen wat je verdient. Ook is het heel belangrijk om te weten dat de fooi alleen naar de managers gaat, niks ervan gaat naar de bediening. Bedieners mogen dat ook absoluut niet aangeven om te voorkomen dat gasten dan anders geen fooi geven. Ook is het een paar keer voorgekomen dat ik of een andere bediener perongeluk een bestelling laat vallen en dat dat er gewoon weer wordt opgelegd en naar de tafel gestuurd wordt. Toen ik daar gingen eten was het ook niet te doen. Een hele ronde aan eten is nooit aangekomen (wat niet zo erg is het eten daar is echt niet speciaal en de helft hebben we zelfs gewoon teruggestuurd) en ik had recht op korting maar hebben we niet gekregen. Toen ik er naar vroeg hebben ze er niks mee gedaan en kregen we gewoon wat gore blikken onderweg naar buiten. Ook is het heel benauwd in het restaurant en zitten die tafels zo dichtbij elkaar dat je er gewoon overprikkeld van raakt en zou ik oppassen als je met een baby in een kinderwagen komt want de managers gaan er op af om je kind te treiteren terwijl je gewoon rustig wilt eten.

As someone who has eaten here and worked briefly, I would heavily recommend finding another place to eat sushi. First of all, the managers are extremely antisocial, arrogant and disrespectful to some servers (not all, a lot of them are also favored). You are not allowed to discuss with each other what you earn when serving. It is also very important to know that the tip only goes to the managers, none of it goes to the wait staff. Servers are absolutely not allowed to indicate this to prevent guests from otherwise not leaving a tip. Also, there have been a few times where I or another server has accidentally dropped an order and it has simply been put back on and sent to the table. When I went to eat there it was also impossible. A whole round of food never arrived (which isn't that bad, the food there really isn't special and we even just sent half of it back) and I was entitled to a discount but we didn't get it. When I asked about it, they didn't do anything with it and we just got some nasty looks on the way out. It is also very stuffy in the restaurant and the tables are so close to each other that you simply become overstimulated. I would be careful if you come with a baby in a stroller because the managers will harass your child while you just want to eat in peace.

Unfortunately, the all-you-can-eat principle does not apply to the desserts, which are not mentioned anywhere on the menu. We asked the waiter, who indicated that he thinks three desserts (including a slice of bacon biscuit that flies off your plate when you sneeze) are enough. Long story short: you can order unlimited expensive dishes, but if your children (for whom you pay relatively high prices) still want a scoop of ice cream, that is not possible. We usually tip 10% on our restaurant spend, but we didn't do that this time and we won't do that again in the future if we ever return. We won't be coming back here for a while, even though we used to come here regularly.

Nice tent for a dinner, nicely decorated, not too noisy and the food is excellent. The chairs/benches are also of good quality, so you will not have any problems with your back while sitting. Management is very nice and provides fast service. The food/drinks are easy to order with your mobile phone. And in the parking garage less than 100 meters away you can park for FREE for the first 2 hours, so that's great.

Truly the best sushi experience ever as a date, we were one of the first to arrive and received our food and drinks straight away and were allowed to sit anywhere! It came in packs of 4 pieces and you have unlimited rounds. Lots of choice and choice of desserts
