Good little spot to get away from the airport chaos!

As airport pubs go, this is by far my favourite. Tables may be a bit sticky from the pints of beer they served, which adds to the true brown pub atmosphere. Music was Irish/Scottish folk to get you in the mood. But my biggest attraction are: "bitterballen" and chips (Fries, friet, patat)! And they have mayo if you ask for it. Very important to this Belgian! I can't get bitterballen where I live, so I go and enjoy them when passing through Schiphol. I forgot to take a photo...

Outrageously overpriced for both drinks and food. €12.50 for a (soggy) bap and scrambled eggs. €11 for a pint of Stout. Quality of food was very very poor. A 6 year old could present it better. At least the two bar ladies were friendly.

Two beers here cost more than my flights and hotel for a week

Not bad for an airport bar and a good start of any holiday! Not sure what kind of person would go for Heineken over a nice Murphy's stout though, but what can you do?

This may just be the best airport bar I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to A LOT of airport bars, and I haven’t said what I just wrote about any other. In fairness, I do love me a good Irish pub, so this place had a head start. What sets this place apart is that it is physically separated from the concourse just enough that it truly feels like you’re sitting in a pub just off the street in a cool run down Irish neighborhood. This place could be on Temple Bar. There are regulars which is bonkers for an airport bar. The bartenders hang like a local pub feels like. The pub food is classic. All the expected beers and all the spirits. I can’t imagine having a few mins at this airport and deciding to NOT post up here.

Smashing bar with a "classic bar decor" and a fine pint of Ireland's black stuff.

Highly recommend if you have to kill some time at the airport.

The staff is great! Only the manager is a horrible man. What an arrogant guy with absolutely no respect for his staff 😡 We sat at the bar for a bit, and all he did was belittle and criticize his staff! That's not how you treat people.

Travelling with work, nice breakfast in a lovely atmosphere. Washed down with an excellent ice cold pint of Heineken. I will be back again.

May or may not have good food. We didn't get to eat because after waiting 20 minutes for our waitress to come back and take our order we were told food would take 30-40 minutes, but which time we would've missed our flight. 🙄

I ordered fish&chips, it's not bad. Irish red pint was so nice! I think this place is better than aspire launge.

Best bar I have found in Schipol, they have Murphy's stout on tap which is always a win. I got the chicken wings which were fresh and tasty. I was there on a Friday arvo and there was a good atmosphere

THERE IS NO SMOKING AREA. SCHIPOL IS SMOKE FREE. The breakfast is weak for 20 quid. The staff are good craic

The two female bartenders today were awesome. Very sociable, sense of humor. They make it feel like you’re at an actual pub and not stuck in an airport!

Classic Irish Pub in Amsterdam Airport. Need a bigger and brighter sign out front, I have walked past it many times and never saw it. Lovely cold beer 🍺

Nice place for a drink , staff were friendly

Food was fine- basic stuff. Mouse ran across the room from the seating area and into the kitchen. Kind of ruined my appetite. Music was stereotypical Irish folks music.

Fantastic time here. Food was made quick, warm and tasted great. It was a Full Irish and 2 Egg & Bacon Baps. Staff are very friendly and cheerful. Atmosphere is cozy like any pub should be. Definitely feels like a break away from the airport noise and easy to relax.

The atmosphere is good, you hardly notice that you are in the middle of Schiphol. The food was good, a bit too expensive for what you get but that goes for the whole of Schiphol I think. All in all a great way to wait for your flight.

Simple Irish pub-like place. I like that it’s not in the middle of the airport without doors like most other restaurants at Schiphol. It has its own vibe. The bap was great for breakfast, quite a big portion for a reasonable price.

A proper Irish pub in an airport! Burgers are great (a bit expensive but what do you expect from the airport food)! Barmen is very lovely too. A good selection of tap beer as well!

Best bitterballen ever must have before any flight

Dropped by on a layover and had a Heineken with bitterballen. Great little pub hidden away from airside traffic. Highly recommended. Friendly and helpful staff.

Slightly hidden Irish pub in the middle of the airside portion of schipol. It’s very cool. You’d never guess you were in an airport.

Gate D10. It's hidden close to D10. Shout out to Anna Roxin and her review, which guides us here. Amazing place and very friendly staff. Great beer and good food. You can get to D10 by going through passport control at any gate it seems. The passport control police (?) was nice to let us in and explain how to get to our gate. We were like "can we please get in? We want to go to the pub, our plane is at a different gate". He looked at us and probably thought damn tourists lol, but explained.

Excellent breakfast ahead of our return flight to London. Service was warm and friendly, pricing about right and a good selection of drinks.

El ambiente era acogedor, y era el escenario perfecto para relajarse con una pinta de buena cerveza. Nos dimos el gusto de disfrutar de un abundante sándwich de filete y pescado con papas fritas, ambos golpeados en el lugar después de nuestro agotamiento de viaje. La mezcla de comida clásica de pub con el encanto nostálgico de la cultura irlandesa hizo que una experiencia inesperadamente encantadora. Went for the football a couple of times, more than happy to stick the games on for us. Liverpool supporters bar too

Okayish, has an Irish feeling but not really and Irish pub. We ordered a beer and a espresso martini, the beer was fine, but the espresso martini had nothing to do with the original. They had the liquors to make one but somehow the manager/owner never explained the staff how to properly make one.

Best way to pass time at Schiphol

Great experience, and fast service so we could make our flight! They even split our fish n chips onto 2 plates for us.

Real nice staff and great fish and chips! We asked to share a dish and they kindly split it for us onto two plates. The pub is separated from the main corridor of the airport so it's a nice break from the airport chaos.

Tasty cocktail, happy our so cheap too. Snacks are great.

It's very hard to keep a rating this high in an airport, so i had to check it out. Nice environment, very friendly service, delicious sandwich, 100% deserves the rating. Go there!

There's a lot of choice at Amsterdam Schiphol for a quick pre-flight snack or meal, and this place is my favourite when I have a chance to come here! Ideal for anyone travelling to a non-Schengen, UK or Irish flight as its on the D-Pier. Bitterballs are an amazing hot snack and can be washed down with some nice Irish, Dutch or branded beers!

Probably the most relaxing bit of Schiphol. A little oasis of calm in a bustling airport.

I didn't like the dishes. Poor quality, price and service. We did not have the dishes ordered. Cold, dark place. And error in the note!!!

This place is awesome, I’m very happy I stumbled upon it on my way to gate. I ordered breakfast deal with a pint of Heineken and a pint came to me in under 30 seconds. I recommend.

It's a nice try to recreate an Irish pub at an airport. You can make it look like a pub, but that doesn't make it a real pub. Very nice staff and good service, but it is not a pub.

Adorable little pub, hidden away from the terminal hustle and bustle.

Not easy to find, you need to pass passport control then head over to gate D and stay in the middle. Once arrived, it's a piece of Ireland in the heart of the airport. Very calm, warm decoration, no airport announces, so if you're looking for some calm before your next flight, it's the spot for you. They have ipa on the tap, which is more than welcome in the heaven of Heineken. The food is also rare to find in the airport, I got an Irish pie and you get all the Irish sauces for French fries, what a delight! They also have phone chargers under the couches. I'd like to give a warmful thank you to the barman who deeply felt sorry for my plane being delayed and offered me Dutch sweets. I must say it brought me luck (as he indented) and I got my transit flight in shanghai (while only having 20min to exchange planes which is a wonder). Whenever I'll stop in Schiphol, I'll come back gladly. Many thanks for everything.

What can you say: come in at 8:15 PM to hear that the kitchen is closed (the business closes at 9 PM and they clearly indicate that they serve snacks and drinks all day long). In the meantime, the staff is chatting a lot, but the tables are dirty. In terms of atmosphere, it is pleasant to sit there.

A great little Irish pub offering good food, good drinks, good company for passing your time before (or after) a flight.

Visited during a long lay over in Amsterdam Service and atmosphere were good especially for an airport environment. Located tucked away in the back corner it does give you the feeling you are not in an airport which is nice. Food was mediocre and for a burger BLT plus a soda I felt it was too over priced

Ignored the two of us and started to serve this group of 15 loud guys that showed up after we had been waiting. Dunno why I expected anything better from a Murphy’s…

Service was excellent. The male bar tender working there today was SOOO smiley and kind I wouldn’t expect that in the airport usually they are miserable and rude. Food was good sausage could be better ;)

For all its good traits as an airport, good dining options at Schiphol are not that plentiful. Murphy’s is very nice in the sense that it is quiet, has friendly staff and decent food, so definitely go here if you need something to eat before a flight. The only drawback is that the drinks are crazily expensive - yes, it is an airport bar but there is no way that a pint of anything should cost more than €8, so perhaps limit yourself to one, otherwise things can get expensive.

A nice little Pub Hidden in Gates D. Excellent service from the Lady waiter, was quick and efficient. I had the Irish Burger with Cheese, I was more than plenty to satisfy, washed down with a pint of Murphy’s. Shame I never took any pictures as the pub is great, nice atmosphere, authentic and charming. It was the best burger I’ve had in a long time

The best place to be before boarding a plane.

With a long layover at Schipol Airport, I remembered seeing this bar on a previous visit. As none of the other restaurants were really calling to me that day (which is unusual, as there are some fantastic places at Schipol), I decided to check their menu and found myself spoilt for choice, but decided to try the all-day Irish Breakfast. Good choice. However, before I go any further, the two chaps serving there were some of the friendliest staff I've encountered in a long time, not just professional, but warm and friendly. Given that I was travelling after a bereavement, anything that put a smile on my face was valuable and I am indebted to these two chaps (20th of February 2024, if anyone from the establishment wants to keep a record). So, the breakfast ordered with apint of cider to keep it company. How did that go? Pretty amazing actually. Everything was well made and the portions were suitable generous, filling me up more than adequately ahead of my flight (and given the food on the flight, this was a good thing). The cider wasa good choice, not sitting too heavily and being very refreshing. All in all one of the more enjoyable airport meals I've had. The bar had a surprisngly 'local' like atmosphere for an airport establishment and that falls partially to the decor, but again mainly to the staff. I almost felt like they were ready to ask me if I wanted 'the usual'. It had been a rough couple of days, but staying at Schipol is always a pleasant experience, but finding this gem tucked away there was an unexpected delight. Kudos to the staff in especial, but well done to the proprietors as well for building a wonderful place to be. I will be back.

A pint of stout has gone from €8.50 to €9.50 in under a month and €3.25 for a packet of salt & vinegar crisps. No wonder the place is empty with those prices. Used to be a great spot but with those prices, I won't be back.

Good place to spend some time when you're waiting for your next flight. Food seems ok, beer's good, but... expect airport prices. And that could mean double from what you find in town. Atmosphere is ok (as much as it could be in an airport), service is great, but the priceees.... 9.5eur for a pint of Murphy's stout, 8.5eur for a pint of Heineken... sorry mates, I know it's the airport, I know it's Schiphol, but that's just... expensive...

Excellent Sausage & Egg sandwich washed down with a Murphy’s Stout, whilst waiting for our flight. Staff were really helpful & friendly.

Ordered a full Irish breakfast and realised when I'd almost finished that the two slices of bacon that were part of the meal weren't on the plate. In addition, the sausages were small and of poor quality. As the meal wasn't cheap (at about 19 euros) this really isn't acceptable.

A very atmospheric place with good beer and friendly service :) you can drink a beer while waiting for the plane and watch some sport on TV. Prices may be a bit high but bearable

Cosy, nice staff The downside is that there is no toilet, you have to leave the pub and walk around.
