Fantastic find when we were in Amsterdam, best meal we had! The Sushi was so fresh and the fish to rice ratio was perfect. The Staff were lovely and welcoming and very attentive. Our bill was also much less than we were expecting as the portions were generous for the price (similar to back home in the UK). Thank you so much and we will definitely be back if we visit Amsterdam again!

Last minute, 6 people came very late in the evening and they were very friendly and the food was sooooo unusually tasty! We will come back here 💯 a few more times!

Super tasty food and really good service!

We ate here once and took away once. When we ate there the sushis were really good but the normal dishes on the menu were extremely simple and tasteless. Later we picked up sushi for almost 100 euros and unfortunately it was no longer special and definitely not worth the money! So never again for us unfortunately. The people were friendly, I should mention that.

First our drinks were forgotten and paying took an unnecessarily long time. Food was good but you should expect to get very little for a lot of money. If you're willing to spend a little more money on food, you're in good hands here.

Sushi was fantastic, beautifully presented but the flavors were fantastic. Very fresh, come up with ideas themselves. Definitely recommended.

Excellent food, excellent service, pretty restaurant

Fusion reading of sushi and japanese cuisine. Fresh fish, good balance of sauces. The atmosphere is not typical for traditional japanese restaurants (the way you're used to it in the west)

Klein maar fijn Japans restaurant, waar je zowel menu als a la carte kan eten. We kozen voor het 4-gangen menu. Begonnen met heerlijke variëteit van Sashimi, vervolgens heerlijke Sushi schaal (doe er nog maar eentje haha !!), waarvan de heilbot met truffel, vervolgens warme visgerechten en eindigend met warme vleesgerechten. Het glas Riesling was vrij vlak qua smaak, maar de fles Meursault een feestje, top !! Keurige bediening en plezierige eigenaar.

Reservations seem to be essential during dinner hours. We went without knowing anything, but they were kind enough to accommodate us, and even though there were no seats due to reserved seating, they made room for us so we were able to have a pleasant meal. The quality of the food wasn't too busy and I was surprised that the raw fish was fresher than I expected. The fried rice and noodles served on the side were fantastic. Even though the fried rice was a side dish, the quality and taste were very good. The noodle dish was also good as it was a mini version of Japan's stir-fried cheolpoyaki. The chicken dish was, contrary to its appearance, soft and went well with the sauce (it might be a little salty for Korean tastes). It was a good meal in the Netherlands.

This is a great Japanese restaurant. Owner operated. First of the vibe it on point. Good is really good. I had the scallops on the shell, delicious 😊 oyster shooter had a quail egg it it Yummy. The oyster on the half shell was very fresh and delicious. We also had the chefs choice sushi 🍣 plate, WOW beautiful and tasty. Oh let’s not forget the lamb rack. It was cooked perfectly and so tasty. My Togo place in Amsterdam. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

A bit pricey but the food was really good! It can get quite loud in the restaurant but nice setting.

We visited again, and it is still one of our top sushi places in Amsterdam, to date. We found this place by chance. We were just in the neighborhood and decided to visit, and it was all worth it. 🥰 Delicious food beautifully presented by very friendly staff. It's a very nice place with great athmosphere. We had a blast at the restaurant✨ The service is great, and the food is excellent. The quality of the sushi is impressive. I loved being greeted with towels and thoroughly enjoyed all the meals served fast and the Japanese plum wine. This restaurant is definitely going on my hidden gem list, and I’ll be going back for sure. They were very considerate about my requests too. Loved it.

Top food, rarely eaten so well. A real experience.

I had a fantastic meal here! The oyster shots are highly recommended. Furthermore, the rest of the food (including sushi and spring rolls) was also very good. The restaurant is small, but the tables are spacious. The staff is also incredibly friendly. I will definitely come back here.

The sushi is really the tastiest here! Drove all the way from Rotterdam to Nanbu and it was definitely worth it! It is a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth it if you want good quality sushi and other dishes!

Heerlijk eten en super vriendelijke bediening. Tartare trio, crazy salmon roll, sakura tuna roll en de cheesecake zijn aanraders.

Wat een toprestaurant! Eten is wat duurder maar echt verrukkelijk en super vriendelijke bediening.

We hebben erg lekker gegeten. Supervriendelijke bediening. We hebben het verrassingsmenu vd chef genomen. Flesje water voor €7,50 is wel duur. Eten is sowieso aan de prijs, maar is het wel waard.

Geweldige ervaring gehad. Het personeel was zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk, en het eten was heerlijk. De sushi was super mooi opgemaakt, met veel kleur en detail. Het was een lust voor het oog, en zonde om op te eten. Het was niet goedkoop, maar zeker de moeite waard. Ik kom zeker terug. Dit is een van de betere sushi restaurants die ik heb bezocht. Een echte aanrader!

Ein sehr gemütliches, stilvolles Restaurant, super freundliches Personal, fantastisches Esses, insbesondere mein Sashimi war vom Feinsten, sehr gute Qualität. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen und komme ganz bestimmt wieder. Liebe Grüße

The food and also the service was perfect. My parents and I are often going to sushi restaurants, but this was the best sushi we ever tried. The sashimi was excellent, the plates are served in an beautiful way and the stuff is very friendly. Especially the miso soup was really really good. We really enjoyed the evening

Tasty sushi (western style). Although the place is missing the Japanese izakaya vibes in my opinion. More of a yuppen place instead. Including yuppen prices ;)

Oprechte aandacht voor de gast, gerechten mooi opgemaakt, speciale keuzes en onwijs lekker eten! Het is dus zo’n all you can eat japans restaurant. Verwacht hier een mooie avond met eerlijke, smaakvolle gerechten en bijpassende wijnen!

Hands down the best sushi you will find in Amsterdam. The food and service are impeccable while the chefs take their time preparing each and every dish with precision and artistry. Every bite is something new and delicious that you won't want to end. High recommended!!

Good service and excellent sushi. One strange thing: you must order at least one drink per person (it is not a problem). Also, they do not have enough juice choice (only apple is available). The staff is friendly and very polite, really like it. Including all notes above, it is still 5 stars for me. Recommended.

The prices were considered very acceptable in Europe, though the portions were slightly smaller, or we were just really hungry after spending a day at Keukenhof. + Very hospitable staff. + Cozy and nice ambience with many local families and kids. + Clean toilet. + There's a supermarket nearby where my father went berserk appreciating the considerably affordable cost of living of Amsterdam. We probably would have had every meal there if we didn't stay 45 mins tram ride away from Nanbu.

I've the privilege to eat here last week and it was a wonderful experience, so I'll repeating as many days as possible while I'm here in Ámsterdam. You simply can't miss this restaurant.

4* only for high prices. 1 Cocktail 14.50€ which served in a small martini glass. Service was good. Very attentive staff.

Very solid sushi place. Very knowledgeable and helpful in picking the right fish for us to eat. Also very knowledgeable in pairing sake with our meal. Would certainly go back.
