Lovely restaurant where the food is delicious: we tried the Vareniki, the Borsch with Pampushky, the iced tea as well as the Syrniki. Apart from amazing food at the restaurant, we also took a Medovik slice home. Super tasty! On top of an amazing Ukrainian food experience, the staff is quite friendly. Overall, cannot recommend it enough :)

Great atmosphere and delicious food.

The establishment positions itself as a place with Ukrainian and Polish cuisine. I am from Ukraine and my friend is too, so we know well what classic home-made dishes should taste like. We tried borscht, deruny, cabbage rolls and cherry dumplings. Unfortunately.. Only deruny were tasty, the dumplings were not bad either, the dough and filling were all ok. The problem is the addition of unnecessary spices, which negatively affected the taste. The cherry dumplings had an "amaretto" flavor. The borscht was quite rich, but it was sour and also had some spices that were not typical for this dish. The cabbage rolls have the same problem. They are sour, have pieces of either cucumbers or peppers in the sauce. and a pronounced taste of some store-bought adjika. The advice is to change the cook who prepares these items. Because the cook must be able to cook delicious traditional national dishes.

Quite a remarkable experience delicious Polish dishes

Recent visit to Ukranian cooking with 2 friends. Was open at 1000, we were there at 1030. Ordered from menu. Most items were unavailable, but some were made: hot cocoa, decaf coffee, and two items, seen in photo. The cocoa was really dreadful, watery, and no taste at all. But it was hot. The dishes were really mushy and greasy with no particular taste, it was supposed to have 1- potatoes and 2- apples. Unfortunately it was a big disaster for me. I had stomach ache afterwards digesting the greasy stuff. No matter, I continue my support of Ukraine, but I will not eat here again…

Good food, also for vegetarians. Good portion size, fast service, friendly people. Small menu, but what is on it is tasty.

The Ukrainian borscht is probably the strongest point of this restaurant — it was just as it should be: absolutely perfect. The potato pancakes, on the other hand, seemed like they had been sitting for a while. They were a bit rubbery, and I’ve had much better elsewhere. The side salad wasn’t anything special either. The dumplings were tasty, but didn’t really stand out in any particular way. The syrniki (cheese pancakes) were okay. Overall, it’s worth coming here for the borscht alone. The restaurant itself is quite small, with limited seating, and the menu is very minimal — just a daily special and a few dishes. It’s a nice, interesting spot with decent food, but aside from the borscht, nothing really amazed me or felt truly exceptional.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting an intimate place that surprised me in every respect. As soon as I entered, I felt the cozy atmosphere - the interior was tastefully decorated, with subtle lighting and warm colors that immediately put me in a good mood. I ordered a classic of Polish cuisine - pork chop. And I must admit that I haven't eaten such a well-prepared dish for a long time. The meat was perfectly tender and juicy, and the breading was crispy, but not too greasy. There were perfectly seasoned additions - potatoes with butter and cucumber salad, which was fresh and slightly creamy, perfectly complementing the whole. The service was equally exceptional. The waitress was polite, smiling and very helpful, and at the same time unobtrusive - exactly as it should be. Everything was served at the right time, without unnecessary waiting. An additional advantage is very affordable prices, which make this place accessible to everyone. All in all, this place is a real hidden gem. Perfect for both a quick dinner and a quiet evening with your loved ones. I will definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone who appreciates good cuisine in a nice atmosphere. 🌟

We had borscht, pelmeni, and wine. Everything was delicious, homemade, and decently portioned. The service was also pleasant and we had to have dessert to go because it looked so good, 100% reccomend to anyone who enjoys Eastern European inspired food! ☺️😻

my girlfriend and I enjoy eating Ukrainian/Eastern European food to the extent that we make it a tradition to find these kinds of restaurants wherever we travel. This restaurant in Hilversum is a hidden gem. The hostess was very talkative and friendly. The borscht and pelmeni we ordered came out quickly and their selection of georgian wines reminded us of when we were in Tbilisi. Definitely give this place a try if you are in Amsterdam (less than an hour by train).

A lovely evening of sitting and eating for a very affordable price. Went for the chef's menu on the chef's recommendation: lots of warm flavors that suit this winter weather. The chef's menu also includes a shot of vodka, which we declined, but instead we were given homemade cookies. I will definitely come back here!

As always, this place brings me home! very much recommend to immerse yourself into very pleasant and top-of-mind tasty Ukrainian cuisine experience! And believe me, native Ukrainian, they really make it gooood! 💙💛

6/10 The best tasting dish were draniki, although they were grated coarsely, which is not quite my preference. All the rest was disappointing and far from what it should be in authentic cuisine. Golubtsy were heavily covered in a sour tomato sauce for some reason, pierogi were bland and not salted, while vareniki were not sweet (but cherry aroma was nice tho). Medovik was too dry. Coffee had no sugar too, and there was no salt and sugar on the table.

This is truly some of the best food I've had in the Netherlands! I had the spinach and cheese pierogi and they were delicious. My husband really enjoyed his meat dumplings as well. The only thing that was a bit tricky was that none of the containers in our delivery order (of about 10 dishes total) were marked, so it took a bit of trial and error to figure out which food was whose! Regardless, I look forward to ordering/visiting again!

Generally ok place, you wont get the value for money you pay. Food is not bad, but different from the original tastes. Portions are really small. Three deryni for 18,5€ with sauce, which is very overpriced for just fried potato. Place is also very small and gets very loud and hot, so the door should be open, in cold times it makes it uncomfortable. Generally a solid 3.5 is a good score for this place.

But you can see that everything is prepared at the lowest cost, the price does not reflect the quality of the dishes.

Ukrainian kitchen is something everyone should try. The chefs menu gives you a taste of classic meals. The portions are generous and it's filling + super tasty. I looked at the photos on Google before coming to this restaurant, which is 10 minutes away from our hotel. The dishes looked very creative. When we arrived at the restaurant, the owner took care of us very nicely. She gave information about the meals. The dumplings were incredibly delicious and so were the desserts. Tomorrow i’ll leave from here. If I have the chance to come here again, I will definitely come to this restaurant!

Had a great meal at this nice restaurant. The menu is quite extensive and has something for everyone. Everything tastes fresh and very authentic. Portions are fine for what you pay, it may not seem like much, but most of it is quite filling. The coffee is also excellent, something that often goes wrong in restaurants. Strong, but certainly not too bitter. The service is smooth and friendly. All in all the best lunch I've had in a long time.

Had a delicious meal here this afternoon. There were 8 of us and we sat at a nice large table at the back of the restaurant. The menu seemed a bit small, but the friendly owner suggested that we serve smaller portions of all the dishes on the menu, so that we could try everything. And everything was delicious! Everything was very fresh, homemade and delicious. We first had beet soup with delicious fresh bread, then dumplings in different flavors, potato cakes with mushroom sauce and 2 types of salad. Then a delicious dessert buffet with all kinds of homemade cakes, pavlova and honey cake. Once again all delicious :-). This place is highly recommended!

Incredibly delicious food, huge portions, reasonable prices, and kind servers (most speak Ukrainian). It was an excellent taste of authentic Ukrainian food as attested to by my Ukrainian friend I ate here with. Will definitely be back. Slava Ukraini!

This Polish-Ukrainian cafe is what I've been looking for for a while. You can have breakfast, lunch and some evenings dinner here. The menu is easy to understand and accessible in terms of prices. All dishes are authentic and – from what I have tasted so far – delicious! I will definitely come back here!

Such a nice little place in Hilversum! We came for a late lunch/early dinner, where we shared a big portion of deruny (rosti potatoes) and then each of us had a portion of pelmeni. Everything tastes really home made! Portions have a good size and were super tasteful! For dessert we had medovik (honey cake) and syrniki, and they didn’t disappoint! Highly recommend this place!

Food was served quickly with a very friendly host. Menu items were explained very clearly. The menu had a few items from different eastern countries. The food arrived quickly which was a plus. All the dishes tasted great and you could taste it was freshly made in a homemade setting. Multiple desert choices which also tasted great! The atmosphere is very warm and cosy. Overal great service, and very tasty food! Will definitely be back.

It's delicious, just like at home! Budget-friendly. Lunch for three at a price of approximately 10 euros per person. We ordered 2 portions of deruni with yaeshna, and cheesecakes + drinks. Everything is hot and delicious. Our Ukrainian women cook. This is especially nice. Good presentation of dishes and polite service. There is a small play area for children. There is usually at least 1 parking space in front of the facility. From wishes. It would be good to have sugar and salt on the table. Definitely, we will come again to eat our native Ukrainian dishes. 🇺🇦🙏💞 The only minus is small. We wish him further development and expansion! 😉
