What delicious pizzas! We ate here last weekend; it was incredibly busy so we had to sit outside, but luckily the weather was nice. Because of that, it sometimes took a little longer for service to come, but the pizzas are delectable and the garlic bread too! Highly recommended.

Friendly staff who really do their best and truly super tasty, airy, and crunchy Neapolitan pizzas. You hardly get them like this anywhere else. Definitely worth it, and we will certainly be back here. We ate 5 pizzas between 3 people because they are so delicious!!!

Italian-style pancakes are a better description. You can get real Neapolitan pizza three streets away. The atmosphere is nice, but if you're looking for real pizza, this isn't the place.

Two weeks ago, we celebrated our wedding anniversary here. My wife had visited this place before and kept telling me how amazing the pizza was. Eventually, I had to see for myself. After our trip to Naples last year, I honestly thought nothing could surprise me anymore. Since then, I’ve tried pizza at many highly rated places, but I always compared it to what I had eaten in Italy, and none of them truly lived up to my expectations. That changed when we visited Nena. The pizza was absolutely outstanding and on the same level as the pizza we had in Naples. Without a doubt, it’s the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy. Even though the restaurant is about 30 kilometers away from us, we’ve already been there twice in just two weeks. I think that says it all. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent pizza. The service and atmosphere are also appealing. Should we ever be in Venlo again, this pizzeria will be our choice.

If a restaurant lets you see and taste its passion, it’s definitely here! Absolutely everything here is delicious. You can get Neapolitan pizza here. Everything is fresh and you can taste it! The staff is always polite and energetic! A solid 5 stars for this restaurant!

Beautiful pizzeria, with delicious traditional Neapolitan pizza. I can't say more about it than that it was super tasty! The interior is also nicely decorated.

I’ve been there twice. The first time, at 7 PM, they refused to make a pizza because it was already too late..even though the place was open until 9 PM. The second time, the staff seated us outside in the garden, and no one came to our table for 40 minutes, even though they were serving the tables next to us. I don’t recommend it.

Great place! Last year we came here because the prices were affordable, it seemed strange that we were the only guests then, but the view from the reviews was nice and the location was cozy, it was warmer then and we sat outside. We really liked the pizza and the service, we are Ukrainians who speak German and decided that we would try to speak English, because suddenly they would not understand us, but the staff was friendly and communicated in both German and English, so this time we confidently and without hesitation came here to have a bite to eat after a walk again. It was a Sunday evening and we saw a full hall, but the staff found a table for us spontaneously, and spoke English with us in a friendly way, the pizza was served very quickly, so we spent less than an hour on our dinner in general! Everything is very fast, tasty and comfortable! We will definitely come back for the third time!

A busy location, so booking in advance is recommended. The appetizers and pizza are different from what I'm used to, probably because this is a Neapolitan pizzeria. The pizzas tasted great, though it was noticeable that the crust was very soft instead of crispy. The mozzarella used on the pizza and appetizer was more liquid than solid, called Straciatella, which was a new term for me. They don't serve Coca-Cola products here, but Fritz-Cola. The service is excellent and very friendly. There's space for a maximum of 40 guests and they also have an outdoor terrace for the summer months. The entrance and restroom are not wheelchair accessible. There's no parking directly in front, so you have to park your car in the parking garage. I don't think the price-quality ratio is really balanced, as the pizza prices, for example, are too high in my opinion. If you want to try Neapolitan cuisine, this is the place to be.

We have been there about year ago, ordered one vegan and option with meat. Till this day I can not stop think about that pizza. The best one in my life and I ate many pizzas in many places. I hope there will come time to visit Venlo, Nena and eat that perfection again.

Best pizza in Venlo! We come here regularly with our young children. The staff is super friendly, especially to the kids. Relaxed atmosphere and, above all, simply excellent food. Highly recommended!

Why they have such a high rating is a complete mystery to me. The pizza had a sponge-bob crust that was as soft as a rag. The excuse that it's in keeping with the Neapolitan pizza style is probably even more flimsy than the pizza crust itself. They'll never see me again!

A calm restaurant in the busy city of Venlo. Just a few minutes away from the centre of the city. The food was delicious. The price is reasonable, the pizzas are big and tasty.

Finding a place to eat in Venlo that doesn't use a deep fryer is pretty difficult (though they do have very, very good fries), but on a recommendation, we visited Pizzeria NENA. Located in a truly unassuming side street in front of Grenzwerk (a cult event venue) on the Meuse River, we received a very warm welcome upon entering. The interior is anything but typically Italian. I'd describe it as a factory/loft style. We thought to ourselves, "Uh-oh, I wonder if this will be any good." The menus were quite small and concise—a good sign for us, as it suggested they were only offering dishes that were likely fresh. Now to the main event: The selection of appetizers, as well as the pizzas, were absolutely exceptional. So we ordered three appetizers and two different pizzas. The appetizers absolutely thrilled us—the beetroot with dressing was amazing. The signature Nena pizza was a real surprise among the pizzas… slightly spicy, yet also sweet… The terra cos sou is also highly recommended. The Nena is an absolute culinary highlight! 😎

We had a great dinner at Nena Pizza on a Saturday night. The food was delicious. Make sure to book a table in advance, as the place was completely packed. The only big downside was that the noise level was way too high for all of us. According to my phone, it averaged around 85 dB, which is comparable to standing next to busy traffic. The restaurant has a large open space with a high ceiling, hard walls, and no visible sound-absorbing materials, so all the sounds, shouting voices and clinking plates bounce and amplify even more. This made it hard for us to have a normal conversation; we had to lean in and shout to barely hear each other. Some acoustic improvements (like wall or ceiling panels, sound-absorbing materials) would make a BIG difference and make the experience MUCH more comfortable. I'd come here again, but only if the noise level was lower. That said, the food was still good. 🍕 Pizza: I liked it, to my taste, thin and crisp crust, not greasy. 🍰 Tiramisu: a bit too mild for me, I'd have liked a stronger coffee flavor. Still fine overall. Friendly and fast service!

A fantastic place with an open kitchen and a wonderful aroma of food. The pizza is delicious, especially the tomato sauce. I recommend the garlic bread as an appetizer; it's delicious. Reservations are recommended on weekends because it's always packed.

I wanted to try the pizza there , I went in my my wife and child and we were asked about reservations and we can stay 1 hour untill a reservation, there should be a sign that says to the people who want to enter that they need to make a reservation.

Yesterday I ate at Nena again. Excellent service, even extending to the pizza baker himself. I ordered a vegetable pizza and asked the person at the oven for some jalapeños as an extra topping. Instead of telling the server to get it, he immediately went to work on it. That kind of initiative gets you a lot of points. Add to that the fact that the pizzas range in quality from quite good to excellent, and the flavors and toppings are often subtle and neatly arranged. The baker is experienced, and it shows in the attention he gives the pizzas, even after they're in the oven. Because it's an open kitchen, guests can see what's happening and how it's being made. This adds an extra dimension to a visit to Nena. We'll definitely be back for another round. It's more than worth the price. Compliments to the staff.

The pizza was good, but I wasn't blown away. In Poland, we have much better Italian pizzas. 😁 They don't serve olive oil at the table, so you have to ask for it.

The food was delicious. (Although I expected more toppings on the pizza.) The service was friendly, but at the end of the evening, it turned out my "Zero" Coke (an unknown brand) wasn't zero-calorie at all. A bit of a bummer.

I've been coming to Nena for a while now, and as always, the pizzas were delicious. However, I've noticed that the last two times we've been there, the service hasn't been as smooth. Appetizers are brought out at the same time as the pizza, drinks don't arrive until you're almost finished, and there's so much chatter that it affects the quality of the service. We've always enjoyed Nena and still do, but it would be great if the service could return to its former level.

A restaurant specializing in Italian cuisine with a very delicious taste, best located in the center of Venlo but with above-average service, an effort to be made.

We had a delicious appetizer and pizza. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great. It's best to book in advance if you want to be sure of a seat. It was our first time eating there, and we've already made reservations for the second time. We'll definitely be back.

We spent a lovely evening here and had a great meal. The quality of the ingredients was very good, but the pizza was too thin for my taste. The restaurant has an industrial style, which inevitably makes it very noisy. I love the view into the open kitchen.

I was here a few months ago. Quiet, calm place, good for families with children. Pizza is delicious. Cooking is fast. People working are nice.

The pizza was extremely delicious, the cheese and the tomato square were of great quality. It was little strange that we asked for a small hot sauce on the side and they charged us for a little pot of tobasco hot sauce. For the rest, I would come back for this pizza. The beets salad as a side was also very flavourful and has a nice kick to it.

This is the second time I've visited this place. The first time I went by myself and this weekend, I enjoyed the pizza with my husband. We always enjoy pizza with anchovies so this place is perfect for us. Perfect thin crust dough. I would think the Italians would be happy with the pizza at Nena.

At Zeal beer festival, pizza magri for 12 euros and then you get a mini pizza, one side completely black, other side not cooked, cheese not yet melted.

The restaurant is located on a quiet side street, which was very convenient for us with a dog. The dog was immediately offered water to drink. Top service. We would like to visit it again.
