New Oriental Food City in Centrum

This is deffinitely the best Chinese restaurant in Eindhoven. You can get hundreds of different meals here and like they're just so tasty and unique. I'd recommend ordering a Peking duck in advance.

We had a delicious meal here with a group of five. The food arrived quickly, and the service was friendly.

We have order food for dim sum. Love it. The taste is good. Some a bit less tasteful but avarage was good and fast. Service is friendly. We have enjoyed our brunch.

The food is pretty good, and the tea can be refilled.

We were with 6 people and ordered 14 dim sum dishes. Every dish was super from the duck tongues to dumplings and meat. I’m a big fan of Chinese food and this place didn’t disappoint.

I'm from Peru, and we're used to Chinese food like this—full of flavor and everything to the point—so I loved it. It's the most delicious Chinese food I've tried outside my country. Another good indicator: more than 70% of the diners are Chinese.

Via Thuisbezorgd, how awful. Tomato soup, babi pangang, nasi, and prawn crackers. Ugh, it's been ages since everything went in the bin after just a few bites. No, never again.

I come here regularly for dim sum. The service is always polite and (usually) smiling. The dim sum dishes are generally delicious, with the occasional misstep. But I'll definitely be back.

I ate here last year as a gift for a professional, picky, but incredibly sweet chef! It's always scary to eat out with a chef😉, but we're fans🙌🏻 We were surprised by the quality😍, the service, and the delicious...we got to take home some containers. We couldn't decide, so we ordered for four people🙈 🥰 🤣 The chef was thrilled, and I... well, I can only say: incredibly delicious! This coming Saturday, September 27, 2025, we're finally going again!

Delicious food and good portions.

Here you'll find authentic Cantonese cuisine. Prepared just right, highly recommended. The food was delicious, the service helpful, and it was served quickly. The decor could be a bit more inviting, although the chairs were great and the air conditioning was excellent.

This Chinese restaurant is located on the second floor next to the city square. The space is quite spacious and there are many seats, but the business is very good, so it is best to make a reservation in advance. The owner is very friendly and there are various Chinese meals to choose from, including Hong Kong-style dim sum and authentic Sichuan cuisine. You can try it if you have the chance!

Food was delicious, service was good, only would have liked some music

Authentic Chinese food! When I say authentic, it is authentic!! When you only see Chinese people, you know they eat well. Simply delicious! You always eat too much because it is so delicious. I drive to Eindhoven from Maastricht especially for this. 100% worth it! For me that is 😀!!

The mapo tofu was delicious! The portion was large and the saltiness wasn't too strong, so I really liked it! I want to go again!

5 out of 5! I also don't understand some reviews: You don't come here for a Dutch Bami Pangang with kroepoek and satay, but for truly authentic dishes. I had a delicious meal there. The whole table was deliciously filled without having to pay too much at the end. The service is very polite, don't forget the small cultural differences. We will definitely come back!

The place where you can find almost 100% Chinese cuisine.

We did not eat in the restaurant because my dad cannot walk up the stairs, there is no elevator. I went up to check if there is any way to make it easier to go up, I was there for 5 minutes waiting but no one had time to answer me. I have no comment about the food, but the restaurant smells stuffy and the floor was sticky.

I have been here many times. It’s a Cantonese restaurant, but also offers some SiChuan dishes or mixed. The owners are kind and friendly.

Before my friend introduced me here about 5 years ago, I was completely unfamiliar with real authentic Chinese cuisine. When my parents went to the “Chinese”, it was mainly the Dutch-oriented Chinese. So Chinese/Indian. This type of food was definitely not at the top of my favorites list. When I visited new oriental Eindhoven for the first time, I was quite skeptical. Didn't know what to expect. All new flavors and textures that I had never tasted before. I was totally surprised after our visit to this restaurant. In fact, I had completely become a fan. Since then I have been here with my boyfriend on a very consistent basis. We even come sometimes twice a week. The staff is very friendly, they are all real Chinese. They do their utmost to bring the food quickly and to make you happy. They know us very well now and we really feel like VIPs. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. For the Dutch people who are skeptical, be surprised and experience it. You will never want anything else!

I have been coming here with my girlfriend, family and friends for over 7 years. I don't understand some bad reviews. You come here for authentic Chinese dishes and not for a Dutch-oriented 'babi pangang'. What I mainly read is that people do not know real Chinese cuisine and that is a shame. Because Chinese cuisine is so diverse and you can go in any direction with it. The staff is super friendly, the food is great and the ambiance is great. If it is your first time, I would recommend the following dishes. Try the ho fan beef, beef rice crepes, hamsukok and sieuw mai. Dim sum is really a concept here. Even though we have moved to Roermond, we like to eat here regularly. No other authentic Chinese for us.

For every one enjoying a good authentic Chinese restaurant this is the place to be. They offer a vast range of dimsums. I tried the Siew Mai, steamed shrimp dumpling and the pork dumpling with sqailed egg. Unfortunately i was too late for the filled rice sheets (till 3pm). Their char siew is excellent as well as their for nam. The tjieuw jiem kai could be better but still very good. Cozy restaurant with lots of Chinese visitors. Prices are fair.

I often go there when I stay in Eindhoven. Nice Chinese food and very extensive menu. Always frequented by Chinese families, which is a good sign. Since I go there alone, they always sit me near the aquarium, which I do not really like.

A lot of noise inside, a few people who were constantly on the phone and had the loudspeaker on. The acoustics are dramatically bad. Very irritating. Tip: sit near the cash register, it is much quieter there.

Best Chinese food in Eindhoven. I lived in Shangai for 8 years and this place heals my homesickness. The tea is only 3.5 euro for 4 people and it is even refillable.

Food is really Chinese taste and was really great. Service was a bit slow but was anyway weekend.

There was a young waitress who looked rudely at us, acted rudely, had an arrogant attitude and was of very low quality. And no one paid attention to him after sitting down for a long time. Dishes are sometimes inconsistent, too spicy or too salty.

Delicious dim sum dishes with lots of choice! Rice stick with seafood and rice crepes with cha siew are recommended. Easy to reach in the middle of the center, and fun to share dishes with each other. Very busy restaurant so it is advisable to make a reservation on certain days, and if you go at the end of the afternoon not all dishes will be available.

A nice good authentic Chinese restaurant. Located in the heart of Eindhoven. Food was incredibly tasty. Prices are slightly higher than an average Chinese restaurant, and that is worth it for us because you get a little more ✌️😋

Do you know the feeling of being full and dissatisfied at the same time? I looked for a suitable word and it came to me: loveless. The ambience is loveless, the shop makes a dingy impression. Uninteresting service staff who don't care whether the guest comes or not. Because they don't lack customers. If we stayed away, there would be plenty of others. I didn't like it, I'll never come back. Yes, even once it was a shame about the experience.

Super lekker! I shared various dishes with friends and liked the fried pork thingy the most! (Can’t remember the name) and their dumplings are decent!

Everybody should go here before going to any other chinese (or wannabe chinese) restaurant anywhere else in the Netherlands. To my knowledge, this is the only place who makes the dishes according to the original recipes. Everything i had here was nothing less than wonderful. WE will see each other very very often.

I don't understand some of the reviews about the service. I've seen reviews that the service wasn't good, but as soon as I ordered a sweet woman helped me choose because I didn't know how big the portions were. I was helped very well! Nice atmosphere and tasty food with real Chinese food

Visit here at least once a month. The staff food and atmosphere is excellent. One of the rare places with truly authentic sichuan cuisine A bit expensive but you get what you pay for and compared to other restaurants an excellent deal. Recommendations: fried rice, sticky fried rice, egg pancake, all the dumplings and the duck

tasty! I specially drove an hour to eat here. It is a very authentic Cantonese dim sum, and it also has the atmosphere of drinking morning tea. The portions of the dishes are not small, and of course the prices are also high. Finally, I packed some away. The service is very friendly. I will come again next time.

Went for dinner yesterday with family, but never again, as always, unfriendly staff, many dishes were a bit strange for a Saturday evening, the dishes that were available came every 15 minutes and were already lukewarm when everything was almost finished, eventually the rice has to be asked 10 times what a shitty restaurant the duck was tai a not hot there is also a lot of bone in the meat dishes you don't want to know about the hygiene in the kitchen NOT RECOMMENDED HERE.

The food is okay. Tastes close to what you would get traditionally for most dishes. Decor looks good, although not clean. Service was terrible though. No greetings, scoffing at you when you ask a question as well as an general look of not wanting to be there. Might as well go to a fast food place, since if you want to order, you'll have to go to the counter yourself. What kind of service is that? Will not be coming back here.

Best authentic Chinese food I had in the Netherlands

De kwaliteit van het eten gaat ten onder aan de kwaliteit van de sfeer en bediening. Het begint al bij de reservering; kort, koel en zakelijk. Je krijgt niet meteen het idee dat ze jou als klant echt verwelkomen. Dan de bediening en het afruimen. Op de tafel ligt een menukaart en een bloknootje waar je zelf je gerechtenkeuze op dient te schrijven; het een nummertje op de menukaart. Over de gerechten geen klagen. Dan het afruimen. Ze komen gewoon langs met zo'n ziekenhuiskar met vuile plastic bakken en "flikkeren" met een hoop herrie alles in die bakken. Eigenlijk is het restaurant een verkapte vreetschuur. De prijs valt mee, dus wanneer je geen probleem hebt met bovenstaande kan je tegen een redelijke prijs je maag vullen. Een avondje gezellig uit eten heeft meer nodig.

One of the best kantonees food in town.

I wish we'd been more careful with reading some of the reviews before we decided to dine there. First of all, the service was really poor and inattentive. We ordered dim sum which wasn't great but we ate them, a Chinese pancake which was alright, and their signature duck dish, which came cold and didn't taste good at all to us. The noodles that came with it felt like they had been reheated. We brought this up with the waitress, but she was dismissive and told us that this dish sometimes comes cold. They asked us to pay the full price including the duck, which was 19.50€, although we had hardly touched the dish. Will not be going back.

The quality of the food is compromised by the quality of the atmosphere and service. It starts with the reservation; short, cool and businesslike. You don't immediately get the idea that they really welcome you as a customer. Then the service and clearing. There is a menu and a notepad on the table on which you must write your choice of dishes; it's a number on the menu. No complaints about the dishes. Then the clearing. They just come along with a hospital cart with dirty plastic bins and "flick" everything into those bins with a lot of noise. Actually, the restaurant is a disguised food bar. The price is not too bad, so if you have no problem with the above, you can fill your stomach at a reasonable price. A nice evening out for dinner needs more.

I ate in the restaurant three times in the last months: 1st time the meat is cold; 2nd time food is quite good; 3rd time is the worst that the duck is with very little meat (mostly bones), and the vegetables are almost raw. So I think the chefs are skilled but you’d need to be very lucky to get good food!

If you are looking for an awesome chinese restaurant in Eindhoven Centraal, New Oriental Food City is the place, it is located left at the main entrance of Heuvel Mall. Drop by early if you want to enjoy their awesome dim sum because this place will be full before you know it 😜 not only chinese, local dutch like this place as well. They have a huge options of dishes, from dim sum, various type of fried noodles, noodles with soep, rice dishes, and you can even order several dishes, serve with rice. I only being there twice, dishes that I would recommend is Rice sheet with prawns in bean skin, Steamed shrimp dumpling, Steamed pork dumpling, Wan tan soep, Ho fan with rib and tausi sauce, Gebraden soft noodles and if you don't want to have such heavy dish, their Porridge is also nice. Something to avoid, Fried soft noodles, it taste good, don't get me wrong, just that a huge plate of noodles with few pieces of mushrooms, their wan tan is good but the wan tan noodles have very strong alkaline smell, doesn't matter it serve dry or with soep, so order the wan tan soep will be a better choice. If you want to try their Rice with meat in hot pot, make sure you go early as it require 1 hour to prepare, we didn't manage to try it yet, mat be next time 😉

I went there for lunch on Sunday with my partner. We were put at a table and thrown around 3 cards, a notebook and a pen without any explanation of how it worked. We called waitresses but each one deliberately did not see us as they passed by us. Only the rice was good. The rest tasted not very fresh. The person shouts in Chinese in all directions, no way to hear each other

The portion is little bit and not match with his price. Expensive price. If i want it wrapped, i must to pay for the box. The restaurant is not worth visiting

Een echte Chinees, zoals vaker vermeld geen babi pangang praktijken. Voor de liefhebbers van apart voedsel kan je hier ook terecht, zo had ik de kwal met pekingeend salade en die was echt heerlijk verrassend genoeg! Daarnaast was de rest ook van goede kwaliteit en kwam alles redelijk vlot op tafel. Je moet wel moeite doen om een bestelling te plaatsen, maargoed dat is een kwestie van vaak genoeg wenken.

The fried stuffed yong tau foo pot was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo The meat filling inside the stuffed green peppers is very unpalatable I also had the most disgusting barbecued pork. It was very fishy. My conclusion is that the pork food in this restaurant is unpalatable bad meal

Excellent service, delicious food

Heel vriendelijke bediening. Leuk concept met Chinese tapas daardoor veel variatie. Eten was voortreffelijk. Prijs kwaliteit was helemaal top.

Delicious food, lots of Chinese guests and that is always a good sign if you really want to eat Chinese food.

Baihua rolls, bean curd rolls, and glutinous rice chicken are good. Others as appropriate.

For me, it was the worst experience with a Chinese restaurant. I have hot and sour soup wherever they have it - it was terrible. There are more bones than meat in the duck, the noodles with beef were on the table within 5 minutes (the meat was overcooked), we still wanted some vegetable side dish, so they offered us a mix of salads, for €20, which was more expensive than the duck. I already know where not to go if I'm in Eindhoven.

If you really want to eat Chinese food. Then you should definitely go to New Oriental Food. On the first floor you will find the restaurant. The atmosphere and decor are as you would expect from a Chinese restaurant in China. The menu is the pinnacle of top cuisine, with real Chinese dishes. Definitely worth trying. Maybe not everyone's choice. But experience it once. They will definitely see us again. And enjoy a delicious pot of tea instead of cold drinks.

Don't order the large intestine. I told the waiter that it smelled bad (it wasn't washed well), and they didn't feel like they made any apology. In addition, the Cantonese dim sum is also average. I don’t know whether it is freshly made or frozen in the supermarket and steamed. We had to wait very long for our food. Also the food we ordered (bami and bacon) did not come together. First we were served bacon and after we almost finished it the bami arrived. It was supposed to be one dish but was served 30 min away of each other. The food is tasty but it would have been nice to be served at the same time. We could get the left overs at home, as we already were kinda full from the bacon we had a lot of bami as left over and we received boxes to pack it for home. So a nice dinner if you are willing to wait an hour for your food and then another half an hour for the second part of your main dish.

Als iemand die wasian is weet ik wel wat goed eten is en wat niet. Dit restaurant hoort bij de betere. Gerechten waren op smaak gemaakt, niet verbrand en gaar. Service was goed en atmosfeer ook. Niet het beste Chinese restaurant in Nederland maar ik denk wel een van de betere en de beste Chinese restaurant is in Eindhoven (dit is het enige Chinese restaurant in Eindhoven waar ik naartoe ben geweest). Alles bij elkaar dus een 8/10. Ik zou hier zeker komen.

Fijn restaurant, we komen er graag, van te voren reserveren is aan te raden. Neem bijvoorbeeld verschillende Broodjes en dumplings voor de lunch, je kunt gezellig lang tafelen.

Authentic chinese food. Reminds me of NYC. And some of the nicest staff I have ever met! Roast duck is wonderful! (Only complaint is high price of vegetable dishes) Great for take out as well.
