Chinees-Surinaams Restaurant Paradijs Sang Lee in Oud-Woensel

Me and my sibling ordered the "Chao-fan speciaal" on the sitedish website of Sang Lee, and it's really really good! We shared one of those and were quite full at the end. We weren't as enthousiastic about the "Gestoofde groenten", but it was alright if a bit too salty for our taste. I would recommend ordering the "Chao-fan speciaal". Like, a lot. It's affordable and tastes incredible. You can get two meals (minus the vegetables) out of one box, with plenty of meat. What's not to like? Also, you can just heat it up in the pan or the microwave if you got leftovers. Works just fine.

The food was bland and tasteless. The price was disproportionate to the small portion. The service was unfriendly. I'll never return.

Good food. Only no vegetables in the typical Chinese-Surinamese dishes, which is actually supposed to be. And a big fan of the ChapWoeiHo which you don't get much in the Netherlands.

Not what it once was unfortunately. Nasi is dry/hard. Little for a lot of money. Shame

The taste was not very good. I ordered dry-fried beef river noodles and wontons, which are the basics of Cantonese cuisine. At the first bite of the beef river noodles, I felt that the water in the river noodles was not controlled and was thrown into the pot. It was not as dry as it should be. The meat of the wontons felt weird. Although the wontons are generally frozen and hot in Cantonese restaurants in the Netherlands, the texture of the meat in this restaurant is the weirdest. Of course, as shown in the photo, the portion is still there. But for the price of 17 euros for this plate of dry-fried beef, I could go to the supermarket next door and buy a sirloin steak and fry it myself. In addition, the wonton soup costs 7 euros. Overall, I am still very disappointed. It is okay to fool foreigners. In terms of taste, it can only be said to satisfy my hunger.

Terrible! Almost 10 euros for 3 small cold spring rolls. Saoto tasteless and burnt noodles! Called, next time we will get the noodles for free. Well, sorry, but you won't see us here again.

The cooking is very good, the boss is warm and considerate, and the price is reasonable. We will come again next time

Been a regular customer for years and we always order the same thing when they forget something, they act suspiciously like a while ago. Anyway, ordered food again today... Don't know what happened there...or if there is a different chef in the kitchen, but the lamb in pepper sauce is completely different. All strange vegetables because of the sauce that were never there and HOW BIZZAR.... Lettuce... Lettuce in the warm sauce. And the cardboard containers it will be in from now on are no use at all. Containers are sticky and the sauce is absorbed by the containers. You pay 44 euros for that. They don't see us here anymore, it's a shame how you can ruin good food.

Have picked up here often, always top quality. Good taste and nice and warm. This is my go to meal when I have something to celebrate.

Excellent grill chef in this restaurant: we got excellent tja siew (roasted pork), grilled pork belly and Peking duck. Tender and tasty meat, we really enjoyed it. And the other dishes were also excellent, conpoh shrimp, and pork crabs in a sweet and sour sauce with paprika. Friendly service 👍

Come on man! This piece of vegetable was seriously all that was in my special noodles ahaha. No jokes.

Food was delicious and tasty. Friendly people in the service. The restaurant is a bit less furnished, but a great place to have a quick evening meal.

Don't know why some other reviews here are so negative, but tastes differ. I sometimes order from here when I'm sick and don't have the energy to cook or when I miss Chinese/Cantonese food. Always delivered quickly, warm and deliciously authentic! Really great :)

I think a restaurant also has mood lighting, but that is not the case here. Lots of Chinese, little Surinamese.

It's always good having dine-in there. I found Peking duck the best with extra sauce. Ngo Hau or fried rice noodles is my favorite. The owner is very friendly. Price is reasonable.

Het is dat het eten altijd lekker is maar personeel mag nog wel iets aan de klantvriendelijkheid doen. 2030 besteld gezegd dat ik er 2145 zou zijn, dit was een probleem want ze moesten de kas nog opmaken. Dan moet je niet zeggen dat je tot 2200 open bent. Maar eten is altijd goed

Ik heb jaren in Amsterdam gewoond en heerlijk kunnen genieten van goede Surinaamse afhaal restaurants. Ik ben al tijdje op zoek sinds mijn terugkeer naar Brabant naar dezelfde kwaliteit. Dit restaurant werd mij aanbevolen . Helaas vond ik het eten niet goed en duur . Moksi meti was mwaa, taai vlees alsof t niet vers was. De tjaumin was niet smaakvol en de kip was oud en gortdroog. De soutosoep was een variant die ik nog niet eerder heb geproefd. En niet naar mijn smaak. Gebakken banaan was niet de Surinaamse variant maar de Chinese en ook die was niet te eten . Doorbakken en vet. Voor mij niet voor herhaling vatbaar en doodzonde van mijn 70 euro . En vind de mensen niet warm en aardig maar dat is persoonlijk wellicht

Lekker eten en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Persoonlijk vind ik de porties ruim en voldoende, maar de groente en garnaal verhouding in een bakje vind ik een beetje jammer omdat er meer groenten in zitten dan garnalen.

Voor een middenklasse restaurant is het eten lekker 😋 ook kun je maaltijden afhalen en thuis genieten ☺️

Toppertje,altijd goeie vriendelijk bediening, heerlijk eten

Eten viel zwaar tegen. Mijn Chao mie met chin garnalen was smaakloos. De Chao mie was te lang gekookt. Mijn Chao fan speciaal ( nasi) was droog en de spek en kip te hard gebakken. Oude vrouw was super chagrijnig en sprak niet eens duidelijk.

Superb dishes. Freshly made and they have good sambals (two types). Meats are tender and juicy. My favourite dish here is koe lo yuk paired with won ton soup. Staff is very friendly. Would eat here again. Take away is possible as well. Can only say that this place is a quality diner!

Mevr was erg brutaal, na een vraag ivm mijn bestelling, moksie mettie speciaal met nasi, helemaal niks van groente. Gooide borden zomaar voor je gezicht zo tafel op. 2x 16,95 moksie mettie, kip, spekjes 2x Bordje rijst 3,50 apart Btw 7euro erbij Rekening zat in 1x op 45,50 🤣🤣🤣 Ik eet vaker uit, maar deze x was ik verbaasd dat men 16,95 betaald alleen om gebakken vlees, tjonge jonge zegggg. Het was mijn 1e x en de laatste.

Beste Chinees van Eindhoven. Porties zijn gewoon goed(ruim voldoende voor een grote eter) en niet de idioot grote porties van een afhaalchinees. Traditioneler eten, dus je moet hier geen babi pangang in zoet zure saus verwachten.

To me this is quite authentic Chinese (Kantonese) restaurant! Service is good, meal is nice, highly recommend their duck -- probably the best I've even had in Netherlands.

The food was good, even tho, the person that took my order said ,,European people don't like this food, only Chinese does" he explained why, i ordered Chap-Woei-Ho even tho as an ,,European" i won't like it, i took it anyway and it was very good. 🙏🏻 (The spicy souce was fire!)

Heerlijk. Alleen jammer dat de kwaliteit varieert... geroosterde buikspek varieert in kwaliteit.

Nou nou dat is de restaurant waar je echt moet zijn in Istanbul een kleine plek in eindhoven ( kruisstraat )

Eten is HEERLIJK. Ober was haastig. Had misschien zijn dag niet, maar na het bestellen waren we daar vanaf. Wel een aanrader.

Eten was prima, gastvrijheid en klantvriendelijkheid flink aan werken mensen!!

Best REAL Chinese in town. My favorite dishes are Yangzhou chaofan, sweet pineapple pork and yuxiang qiezi (eggplant witj minced port 👍)

Moksie metie besteld, alle drie vlees gerechten waren kei hard. Rode wijn bij het eten besteld, was serveerster helemaal vergeten. Pa nadat we bijna klaar waren met eten kwam ze pas de rode wijn brengen. Rode wijn was ook ijs koud heeft beslist in de koeling gestaan. Weten zeker niet dat rode wijn altijd kamer temperatuur moet zijn. Al met al tegen gevallen, kan niets anders van maken.

食物可以给5分。咕噜肉是我这几年吃过最好的，米其林水平，云吞面中上水平。
