New York Pizza in Wijk 24 Nieuwland

The pizza (bacon & chicken) was completely doused in BBQ sauce, which completely threw off the flavor balance. The employee who took our order seemed completely disinterested in their work and was wearing earbuds while ordering—not very professional. It was also noticeable that the delivery drivers were walking around in their own clothes (one of them wearing a Gucci hat), and they seemed to be lounging around instead of doing anything. The hygiene also left much to be desired: cleaning supplies were left next to the dough, and there was even a scouring pad in the oven. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very dull, and the staff's pace was noticeably slow. In short: not what you expect from a chain like New York Pizza. I won't be returning anytime soon.

A year ago, I ordered four pizzas with an Italian crust (I just realized my review hadn't been posted, so I edited it and posted it). Unfortunately, the crust was so hard it was practically inedible. The topping on the döner pizza was very sparse, and the buffalo mozzarella pizza looked like a piece of döner had accidentally landed on it. The iceberg lettuce that was on the menu was also completely missing. We couldn't finish more than half of the pizzas, simply because chewing became too tiring. After calling, I was given the "solution" of taking one free with the purchase of a new pizza within two weeks. There was no offer to remake the pizzas. I find this a disappointing way to handle complaints. This was the last time I'll order pizzas from them.

Never again. They don't know what service is.

What a worthless man, who calls himself a manager but doesn't dare give his name. Ordered three pizzas, two of which were dripping with tomato sauce and burnt. You think you'll call politely, report it, and they'll send a new one. Not so. Terrible service.

Wow, how bad, dry and many tents dark pizzas with almost no topping of chicken doner. If you file this complaint, nothing is done about it. Never a pizza here again.

Ordered the pizzas at 7, couldn't eat until just after 9. Waited 2 hours for 2 pizzas, outrageous. Didn't get any compensation or valid reason why it took so long. I will never order from here again.

The food is terrible , the quality is awful , de food was so cold and hard you can bot chew it, the delivery time also horrible and took a long time like 2 hours, i never order food from here , it was extremely bad experience ever in my life

Ordered here several times. But assume that when you order something here that something goes wrong/is forgotten. I will not order here again. Completely done with this pizzeria

Disappointing experience - not what I expected I just want to say that the order was really disappointing. The food was not what I ordered, it was cold and the quality was just plain bad. In addition, the delivery also took far too long. A real disappointment - I won't order from here again.

The pizzas are always good, better than Domino's, but they're incredibly slow with delivery. When ordering, keep in mind it can take an hour to an hour and a half. The delivery drivers are always friendly, though, so that's fine.

Wrong order delivered. I called and the courier came to pick up the two pizzas that they had delivered incorrectly. Then 40 minutes later it arrived with 2 pizzas. They delivered our pizzas to someone else. Picked up there and then warmed up again to deliver to us. 1 super unsanitary. 2 disrespectful to the customer. The second time we called about this, they again indicated that they wanted to pick up the delivered pizzas. Yes, you can certainly do that, but I will definitely report this to the NVWA.

I ordered a pizza last night. I like that they have vegan options. But this is the pizza that came ( minus the bitten one because I took a bite before throwing the thing out). Look how half of the toppings are not even on the pizza it was literally dough with a sprinkle of tomato. I had tried their wings in the past and they tasted like they dont clean or season it, it tasted raw but here I was a few years later ordering food yesterday and hoping for an improvement. In the past their pizzas were ok...in the present ( as this was yesterday!) They are not. Don't waste your money. There are other places that do pizzas in Amersfoort that are better than this and where the entire pizza at least has toppings on it. Oh and did I mention that I waited an hour for the half done pizza? Yeah, save yourselves the disappointment.

After more than 1.5 hours after ordering In called for an update. Of course it just left and I could expect my order any minute.

Had 16 pizzas made and picked up to eat with a large group. Was well organised! Was ready exactly on time, about 8 different pizzas, all fresh, hot and delicious.

The pizza was perfectly warm and the delivery person was polite and nice but it took a long time but had no problem with that

How did it take 2 hours for my pizza to arrive and the delivery person put the pizza on the front doormat and then drove away very quickly, really very strange, I will never order from here again

Ordered pizza for the family, paid for it, and what next? Nothing, nada. Available by telephone? Whoa. They hang up the phone. Rude scammers.

I ordered a pizza at 16:48.. it hasn't arrived as of writing.. at 18:46!!! After 19 mins on the phone I'm still NUMBER 3 WAITING!!!

Food was made with bare hands. Chicken was not well done. Had placed an online order, then came to pick it up, but apparently they had not started it. Avoid New York pizza in Newland!

We placed an order at 10:20 PM, and it wasn't delivered until around midnight, which was well after the promised time. When we called to cancel the order after waiting so long, we were told it was already on its way and couldn't be canceled, yet it still took 30 minutes to arrive. When the food finally arrived the quality was very poor and we didn't even want to eat it anymore. To make matters worse, we called three times, and not once did anyone apologize for the inconvenience. Very disappointed in both the service and food quality.

Order placed, called after 1.5 hours, said it would be on its way. Another half hour later, still no order.

I placed an order on June 3, which was politely canceled by the location because there were no more gluten-free bases available. Fine. But why can't I get a response and money back 3 weeks later?! Very poor service, no response to email or chat contact and I'm still waiting for the local manager to call me to arrange how to get my money back... shame on me.

The base and edges were very tasty. There was just a lot of tomato sauce on it and the döner didn't taste like anything.

Very good and beautiful! Quite tasty but a lot of food for children who don't eat that much, but the service is good and everything is perfect. Recommended

Ordered chicken from NYP last night as a late night snack. I also knew this… I lay awake all evening and emptied all the contents of my stomach. You are thanked. Never again!

Pizza 4 kazen snel geleverd thuis maar was smaakloos. Smaakte naar 1 kaas. Zag ook geen schimmel kaas of dergelijke erop zitten. Heb voorheen wel betere gehad. Volgende keer een Doctor Oetker van de supermarkt

Never had such a bad pizza. How much oil do you want to throw on it, mediocre topping and dough was not good either.

Pizzas were tasty but hot wings way too expensive for what you get, in the end you pay 1 euro per hot wing and you get mini hot wings and not even spicy

All good but, borders are very big.

We order a pizza about 2 or 3 times a year, and the kids especially prefer a NY pizza. In a distant way this resembles a pizza like the one we eat in Italy, of course, but hey, a little sinning is allowed every now and then. This branch is the preferred location because we live nearby, and based on recent reviews it is certainly not the best branch, but we do not receive them from other branches, so there is little choice in terms of delivery. And actually, once again, it was very tasty after delivery within the time specified by the site (on a Sunday). Nice and warm, no broken box, no load of grease in the box, but actually exactly as we expected. Okay, the meat content has decreased somewhat in recent years, but otherwise I can enjoy a pizza that really shouldn't have that name... Big 4 stars for NY Pizza rainbow.

Ijs besteld bij ze. Kreeg wel ijs bezorgd, maar niet het ijs wat ik had besteld. Eerder eens een pizza besteld. Toen was de helft van mijn pizza niet belegd.

Altijd lekkere pizza en ook regelmatig leuke acties

I order regularly. Just make sure you order an hour before you plan to eat because they can get very busy. The pizza is always awesome and delivered hot/warm.

Altijd heerlijke goed gevulde pizza's! Als je bij New York Pizza besteld weet je dat je heerlijke pizza's krijgt. Al heel wat keer besteld, elke keer weer warm en goed van smaak.

Ik bel op dat ik een verkeerde order heb mee gekregen en vraag of ik de goeie mag krijgen. Ze vragen of ik de vorige pizza weer in wil leveren, prima, maar zonder enige verificatie dat er iets gaat gebeuren hangen ze op en gebeurt er niets meer.

Een concurrent van Domino's Pizza. Het is een goed pizza restaurant waarbij een grote variatie aan verschillende pizza's worden aangeboden. Prijzen zijn aardig. Goede ervaringen hier gehad.

Lekkere pizza's.. Niks mis mee, lekker bestellen.

Tot op heden heb ik alleen maar goede ervaring gehad met deze vestiging. Bezorging is wel eens te laat geleverd, maar dit overkomt elke pizzeria. Ik ben in ieder geval tevreden, pizza van gisteren was heerlijk! En naar mijn mening zal iemand met een slechte ervaring eerder een recensie schrijven als iemand met een goede ervaring.

Een 3 omdat je binen niet mag eten

Het viel een beetje tegen, de pizza was slap en de kipkluifjes minimaal gemarineerd. We zijn veel beter gewent.

Na 1,5 uur belde ik de pizzeria, omdat ik nog steeds geen pizza bezorgt had gekregen. Ik heb hier 3x bestelt en alles werd 1,5+ bezorgt, de pizza was daarentegen wel lekker.

Het was even een gokje, maar er is een nieuw management en iedereen verdient een tweede kans. Dus wij gingen bestellen en het was goed, warm snel. Wauw wat een verschil met hoe het was twee uur wachten op een koude pizza. Het was ditmaal zelfs zo lekker dat we nog een keer besteld hebben. En ook dit keer weer snel warm en lekker. Doen jullie goed daar en dat mag ook gezegd worden.

Ik heb de pizza afgehaald. Het duurde lang en de pizza was toen ik thuis kwam (10 minuten rijden) niet meer echt warm.

Update - bezorging wordt weer hervat begreep ik, goede zaak! - Oude review: Na jarenlang tevreden klant geweest te zijn is zonder bericht de bezorging voor heel Bunschoten opgeheven. Ik woon net in het buitengebied op 10min fietsafstand van de vestiging en bestelde vaak wekelijks bij NYP. Zodra het wordt hervat word ik graag op de hoogte gebracht.

Al heel vaak besteld en eigenlijk alleen maar zeer tevreden altijd. Pizza's zijn elke keer nog heel heet wanneer ze bezorgd worden en ze zijn altijd keurig op tijd of wanneer gekozen voor zsm altijd heel snel al bezorgd! Pizza's zijn ook erg lekker en altijd van goede kwaliteit! Zodra we een keer iets langer hebben moeten wachten ( wat één keer is voor gekomen) kregen we een kortingscoupon per post waarmee we één pizza gratis kregen! Goede service!

Just ordered a lasagne , pesto wings and some desserts. Lasagne was decent but wings were burned.... only 2 was able to eat. The rest are bitter from the burned.

Bij New York Pizza zijn de pizza's heerlijk! En komen altijd netjes op tijd. Bij domino zijn die pizza's half aangebrand en komen altijd te laat. Nooit meer domino's voor mij.

Geachte heer, mevrouw, Hierbij wil ik jullie het volgende mededelen. Op 8 maart jl. heb ik een New York Pizza filiaal in Amersfoort Noord bezocht, en heb toen gezien hoe de medewerkers in de keuken te werk gingen. Op het eerste gezicht viel er niks anders te zien dan hard werkende mensen die zich hard inzetten voor de vele klanten. Toch wil ik iets van m'n hart: een van de keukenmedewerkers droeg lange (nep)nagels. Hiervan gingen mijn nekharen overeind staan, waarbij ik dacht hoe dit kan stroken met de hygiëne-afspraken. Hoewel ik enorm genoten heb van mijn pizza, wil ik toch mijn zorgen uiten.
