New York Pizza in Wijk 07 De Kruiskamp

I ordered two pizzas and a Ben & Jerry's ice cream from New York Pizza, with an expected delivery time of 7:00 PM at the latest. By 7:30 PM, nothing had been delivered, so I called. I was told the delivery driver had come by and rang the doorbell. This wasn't true; no one came. Then I was told the order would be resent. At 8:00 PM (when the order was already an hour late), I called again. I was told the pizza would arrive within 20 minutes. In the end, the delivery driver didn't arrive until 8:20 PM, almost an hour and a half later than promised, and to my surprise, with only one pizza instead of two. The delivery driver told me to call the store to resolve the issue. When I tried, it turned out the store was suddenly closed for Boxing Day, making it impossible to resolve the issue. If I ever decide to order from here, my entire evening is ruined. This is extremely substandard and unprofessional. I expect a refund or a substantial credit, as this is absolutely not the service you should expect from New York Pizza. *Update: This was resolved after a complaint email to NYP.

Delicious pizza, delivered quickly. Too bad you can't sit down if you have to wait.

Such a shame. I ordered a pizza without mozzarella, but it still came with it. My boyfriend is lactose intolerant, so we had to return it. They looked at us blankly and didn't really understand why the pizza wasn't good, but luckily a lady said she would remake it. We had to wait another 25 minutes for it to be ready because there was no receipt and the other colleagues didn't understand what it was supposed to be. We had to raise the alarm ourselves, telling them it was ours. Now the pizza wasn't cheese-free, but something else was missing. The staff work extremely slowly, and things still go wrong. Meanwhile, my pizza was cold when I got home after 45 minutes. There was no genuine understanding from the staff, no discount coupon, and no new pizza either... you'd think such a large chain would know how to handle complaints.

If you're willing to wait for hours and expect incredibly poor service, order from here. I try again and again, and they prove their terrible quality. I also wonder if they even have a manager?

I've never had such a bad experience with New York Pizza. The delivery took over two hours, the pizzas were barely warm, and all three were missing the paid toppings. Immediately after delivery, I tried to call, but got a recording saying the store was already closed. So, the order was delivered to me 30 minutes after closing time. I wanted to return the order because the pizzas were absurdly cold and without the paid toppings, but that wasn't possible because they were closed. I sent photos and proof to the head office, but they've been referring me to the franchisee for a month. They were supposed to contact me, but they never did. In short: I'll never order from here again and advise everyone against it. It's very disappointing that New York Pizza associates its name with such a poorly run store.

The food arrived quickly, and the pizza was still very hot. This doesn't happen often at other places, but it did here! Very satisfied.

Paid and Tipped | Never received anything. Never had a problem ordering from this location. However, I ordered something yesterday and it went terribly wrong. After waiting for two hours, I received the update "Food is being prepared," and a minute later, the message "Delivery person is on the way." Next hour, closing time, NYP. The result after four hours of patience and trust: They received a nice donation from me (including a substantial tip for the delivery person, since it was raining so heavily). Unfortunately, as punishment, I had to go to bed without dinner. P.S. I know I could have called back. But given the sudden "Delivery person on the way" message, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I don't feel like pursuing them anymore.

The pizzas taste really good. The service is fast, and the staff is friendly. The only downside is that the pizzas here are on average €1 more expensive than in Leusden. But otherwise, the service is good. It's close to the city center, and I've never had any complaints about the pizza.

Order is not delivered and when calling after 1.5 hours, the response is laconic. No apologies when the ice cream was delivered 2 hours after ordering.

Ordered a pizza, the delivery person arrived with the wrong pizza after waiting 1:30 hours and then indicated that he did not want a new pizza. An employee indicates that this will be credited to the account within 2 weeks. Well not the case. Bad service and always late! Big fan of New York, but not all shops

My tip would be to call the customer if he has to wait 55 minutes for 1 pizza.

Some smart guy at the cash register calls me an NPC because I order via the app at their store and then want to pay by card because I can't use internet banking. I then explain to him that I do it because I am a silver member and still live in front of the door. I've been doing it this way for years, even when I worked here, because I worked here a number of years ago and it was never as bad as it is now!

Have had to wait more than 2 hours for a pizza several times. I would drive to Italy if you want pizza, it's faster than waiting for the pizza.

Ordered again after a long time, but I think this was the last time for us. Way too much sauce, toppings are dry and tasteless, which also explains the excess of sauce. The poffertjes we ordered were burnt, making them no longer edible. In the past you could easily eat a 30cm pizza, but I don't know what they put in the dough these days, but it's already full after 3 pieces.

It's something every time, either the order is wrong or something is missing. And last night it happened again that something was missing. Delivery didn't make much sense either.

Ordered pizza for a birthday on Sunday evening. Received a time slot of about 40-60 minutes later, but even when that time had passed, nothing had changed in the status of the order. Since the youngest of the group had to go to bed quickly, I tried to call after 75 minutes, but the line remained busy. We just drove by, thinking there might be something wrong since the status had never been updated either. They appeared to be very understaffed with only 2 people baking/calling/etc and did their best. They were very friendly and gave us half a discount. Fortunately, the pizza order went well and we received the pizzas after not waiting too long. Luckily they were very tasty!! It would be useful if the website could say something like "very busy", or if the promised time slot has expired it does not still say "on time". You would think that this should be possible automatically

Update 2: NEVER ORDER. YOU'RE BETTER TO THROW YOUR MONEY OUT THE WINDOW THAN SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. I HAVE ALREADY CALLED AND EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT HOW DISGUSTING THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS - ZERO RESPONSE. Ordered 3 hours ago, still nothing. Cannot be reached by phone! I've been on hold at position 1 for 35 minutes - they just won't answer any calls. Update: ordered again and still regret it. It is better to be on time than to receive a discount code for being late afterwards. Not a fan anymore! At first we always ordered here and that went well. Something has always been wrong the past 4 times. Delivery person dropped the pizza (pizza was stuck to the top of the box), ingredients not spread properly, pizzas are literally cut into 3 pieces (?!) You should be ashamed of yourselves. Submitted a complaint via the website but received no response.

NYP always tasty. Sometimes I wish I had more of it. The sweet chilli chicken was super tasty.

Het is echt tijd om een keer een review te schrijven. Ik bestel als vaste klant al jaren bij jullie en het wordt alleen maar lekkerder. New York pizza heeft echt de beste pizza van Amersfoort. Altijd vers, ongelooflijk lekkere bodem, heerlijke ingrediënten en ook nog eens halal! Ook regelmatige 1 + 1 acties wat het aantrekkelijk maakt om zeker 1 keer per maand te bestellen. Snap niet hoe de waardering zo laag is. Elke keer komt mijn pizza op tijd en warm aan. Zelfs de chicken tenders (snacks) zijn gewoon lekkerder en sappiger dan bij de kfc bijvoorbeeld. Echt complimenten aan jullie! Mogen bepaalde andere pizzaria’s van leren.

Ik heb hier heel lang mijn pizza's besteld, maar bij de laatste 3 bestellingen ging er wel erg veel fout. Leuk dat je dan weer een gratis pizza krijgt, maar daar heb je op dat moment weinig aan. Dag pizza punten, maar tijd voor wat anders!

Helaas, 3 pizza's besteld. Staan ook zo op de bon. 2 pizza's geleverd, incl kinderspeeltje maar de kinderpizza is nergens te bekennen. Ik begrijp dat er wel eens wat fout kan gaan maar dit is zo onnodig. Iemand roept dat de bestelling klaar is (niet op de bon gekeken) en iemand gaat rijden met een incomplete bestelling (wederom niet op de bon gekeken). Het lijkt jullie weinig te interesseren nadat ik betaald heb, jullie doen maar wat. Nadat ik de bezorgster terug heb gestuurd met de 2 pizzas (ik wil graag 3 verse pizzas tegelijk want dat heb ik besteld) duurde het een uur voor ik daadwerkelijk aan tafel kon. De gemaakte excuses heb ik er maar even bij verzonnen, een mens moet wat...

Met zijn 4en bezorgen is een beetje onnodig toch? Of ze zijn misschien bang om op een woonwagenkamp te komen. Ze rijden vaak ook met 90km per uur weg. Het eten is vaak wel lekker daarintegen.

Duurt vaak lang & is erg scheef gesneden elke keer maar is altijd wel lekker dus ik vind de min-punten (pun not intended) het helemaal waard

Eten besteld, 15 minuten later wilde ik bellen voor een weiziging in de bestelling uiteindelijk meer dan een uur in de wacht gestaan, telefoon werd niet opgenomen tot ze uiteindelijk te laat bezorgd hadden en ik gewoon ophing en de bezorger aansprak, de reactie bevestigde dat er gewoon moedwillig niet word opgenomen. Dit is de laatste keer dat ik bij ze bestel.

Ik ben een bezorger bij New York pizza en ik snap de recensie van lang wachten, en daar hebben we een verklaring voor, het is rond 8-9 uur echt super druk ik moet soms naar 4 adressen tegelijk dat verklaart ook waarom de pizza's soms niet warm zijn, ik moet ook zeggen dat de wijken van NYP centrum anders zijn, wij bezorgen alleen alles boven het centrum + Schuilenburg en Hoevelaken WIJ BEZORGEN NIET MEER IN HET CENTRUM dat doet de leusdenweg, voor de rest vind ik de pizza serieus echt lekker 🤤.

Heeft een slechte naam dus ik was eerst huiverig om te bestellen. Afgelopen week toch gedaan en nu vanavond weer. De pizza die ik beide keren had was in de actie dus absoluut niet duur, goed belegd, lekker en snel gebracht. Dus ik ben positief verrast! Ook leuk dat als je hebt besteld je precies kunt kijken wat de status is van je bestelling. Beide keren heb ik ook uit mijn werk besteld dus vrij laat in de avond na half tien ongeveer. Dus misschien is het dan ook rustiger. Maar ga zo door, ik kan me niet vinden in de slechte recensies!

Ik heb vandaag voor het eerst bij deze vestiging besteld. Ik moet zeggen dit was de beste niet Italiaanse pizza die ik ooit heb gegeten! Een aanrader. Ook prima bezorging.

Helemaal fantastisch hier. De manager van deze vestiging heeft oog voor zijn klanten. Ook al kan je hier alleen afhalen. Ik kom hier graag.

Actually quite good. I expected very little from this chain pizzeria, mostly because in America, I found their pizza mediocre and overpriced. It is Still overpriced, but here they have some good offers that make it reasonable. That is, as long as you can find room for a lot of pizza. And the pizza is pretty good. The service is friendly and the production line is smooth. No errors in my order. 👍

Bezorgen zeer snel, vriendelijk personeel! Pizza en pasta is uitstekend.
