I ordered at 5:45 PM and still hadn't received my food by 7:15 PM (we live a 5-minute scooter ride from the fortress). I wanted to call to ask where my order was, but they either ignored all my calls or pushed me away. I'll never order from here again; they're rude. And judging by the other reviews, I'm not the first to have had this problem. For anyone else considering ordering from here, save yourself the money and the hassle and don't.

The pizza was delicious, it arrived a few minutes after the promised time, I haven't had any major problems yet (especially on Saturday, when I'm waiting at home in rainy weather), although the cookies weren't brought (but later a courier on the way replaced them. I can understand that if there are problems, I would continue to order from here, although it rarely happens. I wish for improvement in accuracy and speed as soon as possible, because I didn't experience any mistakes in manners.

I ordered a pizza over two hours in advance and said it would be delivered at 7:30 PM. Unfortunately, that didn't happen; it arrived 30 minutes later, which ruined my break. So, I'd give this place a very poor rating for both the food and the delivery. I asked for a solution, but didn't even say a word. I did get a soft drink as an apology, but no, not at all. The food was also cold and tasted rotten. Unfortunately, I'll never order from here again. Have a nice evening, as the young man on the phone said.

Tonight I placed an order at this restaurant. Everything that could go wrong did. I ordered at 4:40 PM, but the order didn't arrive until 6:27 PM. Quite a long time, especially when ordering so early on a Monday evening. I had called to add drinks to the order. Cans of drinks weren't included. No big deal, anything can happen. However, I had ordered extra gorgonzola cheese for my friend, and it wasn't included with his pizza. I ordered a vegan shawarma pizza. Just smelling it, I noticed something different, and after tasting one piece of shawarma, it was immediately clear that it wasn't vegan shawarma. My friend tasted it to confirm. As annoying and unfortunate as it is, that can happen too. I called the restaurant about the above. I explained that several things had gone wrong with the order and immediately received a curt and sharp response, "What then..." I couldn't even manage an "oh, how annoying." That's fine, you're probably busy, so it's taking so long for a reason... I've had several service jobs myself, so I always try to come across as reasonably cheerful. I'm very aware of that because I know how tough it can be on the other end of the line. But when I started talking about the cans, even mid-sentence, I was met with a grumpy response: "I'm going to print the receipt." I asked, "Can I continue?" and was met with the first layer of raised voice, followed by a reiteration that he was going to print the receipt, and then he put me on hold without waiting for my response. Quite overwhelmed and surprised... But okay, I understand the stress, the tension; a lot can go wrong on nights like these. And that can be overwhelming. The gentleman called me back from the hold and allowed me to continue my story (that too was rather strange, but oh well). I tried to make a joke by laughing, "Oh well, thank you!" After I explained what else had gone wrong (especially the "no vegan pizza shawarma," which was a real bummer, because after waiting almost two hours, I didn't even have anything to eat), I was initially met with a sneer: "Is that it?!" Um, bizarre... The solution was to send a new shipment. There was absolutely no understanding, no response, only curt, grumpy responses. I explained that wasn't what I wanted, I didn't want to wait for my food again, I wanted my money back, but I kept getting interrupted and couldn't even say it... Then, in a rather raised voice, the man accused me of interrupting him, of being disrespectful, and of yelling at him. I even tried to apologize for coming across as angry, because actually, I wasn't (though I can imagine that if you get a customer on the phone where everything has gone wrong, you can quickly interpret it as angry, and that's how I came across). But in response, the man raised his voice dramatically and kept accusing me of interrupting him. This also made my emotions run high, and I tried repeatedly (eventually raising my voice) to explain that he was constantly interrupting me and that I couldn't even say what I wanted. Finally, I hung up after he started reacting more and more violently. Literally yelling down the phone. I find it bizarre. Truly bizarre. That everything that went wrong was reacted to like this. My friend was sitting next to him, and his phone was on speaker. He, too, was extremely surprised at how they reacted, how they treated me, and confirmed that the man had already been very heated in the conversation (right from the start).

We ordered two pizzas, which took over two hours to arrive. One of the pizzas was gluten-free, but it was delivered with the wrong toppings. After calling, they couldn't guarantee whether the pizza was gluten-free or not. They did, however, confirm that it contained lactose. But gluten and lactose are two different allergens. They were able to deliver a new pizza, but they couldn't tell us how long the delivery would take. We had to contact customer service for a refund. It was incredibly strange that the issue couldn't be resolved immediately. They even offered to go to the location for a refund, but that proved impossible. It's outrageous that allergens are handled this way. I will NEVER order from them again.

If you can't guarantee that you can deliver "hot food" and "on time," stop delivering to that region. When you order food through Thuisbezorgd, it says 20-55 minutes, and then after ordering, you're given a timeframe of 1:15-1:30, which they then miss by over 30 minutes. Two hours for cold food!

Today I ordered pizza from New York Pizza in Waalwijk, the pizza was cold and it wasn't delivered until 2.5 hours later. After calling once (2 hours after we ordered) it was supposed to be delivered within 10 minutes, we waited another half hour, so we called again and it was supposed to be delivered within 5 minutes. We waited another 15 minutes and then the food arrived. The pizza was cold and incomplete.

Never had such a bad experience with Thuisbezorgd. I waited outside for an hour because they said over the phone that the delivery driver would be there soon. Wednesday evening, and I waited two hours?! When he arrived, the food was freezing cold (and his car was still completely full of other (probably cold) pizzas). The guy on the phone said he couldn't help the delivery driver being so slow... apparently, way too many orders for one driver!!

Yesterday, I ordered a half-and-half pizza with half tuna. When it arrived, it turned out to be chicken shawarma. I called the store and was told they were busy and had run out of tuna, so chicken would be the replacement. It was absurd that a completely different pizza was delivered without consultation. The delivery was outrageous, the food was outrageous, and the service was outrageous. Think 100 times before ordering from here. First of all, the wait time was 50-75 minutes (possible), but unfortunately, the food wasn't delivered until 105 minutes later. Anyway, when we received our food, it turned out they'd forgotten our sauces. When we called to report it, we were asked, "Do you still want the sauces?" Ridiculous. Even when they delivered the sauces, they'd forgotten another sauce... I used to be very satisfied with this NewYorkPizza location, but now it's completely ruined. Last time, there was no sauce on the pizzas, and they didn't call about it when I ordered through the app. So I called after the pizzas were delivered, and they offered two free pizzas of the same size next time as compensation. Then I'd have to call instead of through the app. Okay, to err is human, and the solution is super neat... I called a little over two hours ago today. They claimed they were out of dough for the largest pizza (I think this is the exact same dough, just rolled out thinner, so I think they were blatantly lying)... I agreed to two 35cm pizzas instead of two 40cm pizzas, and they said it would be delivered within 20 to 30 minutes... After an hour, I still hadn't seen anything, so I called to ask where they were... Apparently, they couldn't find it, so the delivery driver drove back, and that was it... I didn't get a call; I had to find out! I explained that this was strange and asked how that was possible, since I had clearly indicated that the neighbor's address should be used for navigation. After a very strange phone call, I discovered that the street name was misspelled, but I didn't hear any apologies on the phone! Okay, so another attempt at delivery, another 40 minutes later, still no one, so I called to ask where my pizzas were. I got an irritated voice on the phone saying they were still on their way... I think 5 or 10 minutes later, the delivery driver finally showed up and also indicated there had been a miscommunication... I just opened the pizzas, and I'm 99.9% sure they put meat on my vegan pizzas that should have a meat substitute. It doesn't look like a meat substitute, it smells like real meat, and after a quick taste, it clearly looks like meat to me. I eat a plant-based diet, so I could get really sick from this! (Luckily, I'm not allergic!) You've lost me as a customer!

They thought it was a strange review and did not think it was justified. Apparently everything is delivered frozen to them. Fine, but then it does not have to be delivered frozen. Very rude on the phone. It was on its way. Called again 15 minutes later. Still on its way. This while the maximum travel time is 10 minutes. We have to leave by now and this was also indicated. After 15 minutes of waiting inside as the only customer in the store, I watched as the staff did everything but what they were supposed to do. There was gossip about customers while we were in the shop, they were just distracting each other that they hadn't even put our pizza in the oven yet. When I said that this is really not possible and that I did not need the pizzas anymore, a girl from the staff literally said with an attitude: what is your problem. Well how about you guys didn't even start my pizza? And I think she is the problem because she distracts all her colleagues that her colleagues even had to say Ssst to her continuously (I have even heard private conversations from them, her father is Polish). From reading the reviews that people have to wait a long time, it is clear that not because of the crowds but because of the youth that 'works' there. I don't understand why there is no adult or manager present or supervising on the work floor because they literally don't do anything!

Very bad experiences. I have ordered several times and each time there is an average wait of 2 hours for lukewarm pizzas. And when you call you get a lame comment that they didn't expect it to be busy (on a Sunday!!) and that they couldn't do anything about the fact that the expected delivery time does not match the time you see after your order . Also with the comment I made that I would have understood if they would come later if they had just called politely, they indicate that they are not going to do that because they will not be productive if they have to call everyone.

Worthless! Waiting over 2 hours for some cold pizzas. The standard answer is that the phone is answered with the excuse that the delivery person is on his way, max. 10 minutes away. After a bit of questioning, it turned out that orders in the tracker are given a delivered status as soon as possible (even if they have not been delivered at all) so that they can accept new orders. The delivery person himself was very nice, he turned out to have had 6 addresses for us. Delicious Domino's next time.

I really liked the pizza, but when I opened the box of the garlic bread, which was always tasty, I saw something that I have never seen before. Crazy bad. Placed an order for some simple side dishes. More than two hours later, still nothing has been delivered. So just call. Turns out the order was about to go out (coincidentally). Afterwards it turns out that there was no Garlic Bread. Called and it would be delivered again. After an hour or so I received the entire order again. However, Garlic Bread was not included, but Cheesy Bread was. Well, fine, except that the cheesy bread was completely raw. I immediately threw everything in the bin. Never again.

Asked for money back “yes of course it takes 3-5 working days”. I have been waiting for 2 months now and have already contacted higher-ups 4 times and have not received anything back yet... sad thing

The worst delivery ever. It was not the first time that I waited more than an hour for a pizza and in the end it was not even delivered. When calling and asking normal questions about how much the pizza will be delivered for, they always answer "on the way" and cancel the call, instead of saying the normal time. Inexperienced people work there.

We placed the wrong adress in, so yes, that's our fault, when we called to ask what's wrong. They were very rude, the delivery guy yelled to us that he called our house but there was no call. When I was speaking with manager she kept taking breaks from conversation to laugh, didn't offer any solution, I had to basically beg for her to send us our COLD pizzas.

After a day at Efteling, the perfect ending! Super friendly staff and owner! Kids all got a nice toy and the pizzas were deliciously warm and generously topped! I would definitely come for dinner more often if I lived closer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having seen the reviews I was hesitant to leave a tip in advance, now the app says they can't even process my tip, so that's a bummer. Not the restaurant's fault though, my delivery arrived super fast, the pizza is fresh and tasty. Will definitely order again and leave a tip in cash! A really pleasant surprise.

What lousy "delivery"! Ordered 2 pizzas at 5 o'clock, called after an hour to find out where our order was. Promise that they will arrive now, the delivery person was "just out the door".. But after 45 minutes they still haven't arrived! According to the girl on the phone, they had delivered the order incorrectly, they had already found out, but did not call. No solution, except that we can remake them.... Money is not immediately refunded... That has to be done via the head office. Yes, our complaint also goes to the head office!

The pizzas are very tasty and the gluten-free pizzas are now topped with a bit more than two pieces of ham and three pieces of pineapple, as long as they are not delivered with a black burnt edge. We have already experienced this twice and complaints are simply not responded to. Too bad, that's why we don't order here anymore.

I ordered from this terrible place via thuisbezorgd.nl. I ordered around 5:00 PM. It said it would take about an hour. After an hour, I received a call saying it would take a little longer because they were busy. Finally, after waiting almost three hours, our food arrived. The portions were small and tasteless. DO NOT ORDER HERE!!!! The price-quality ratio is extremely poor.
