KFC in Wijk 00 Waalwijk

Helped by Gul at the drive-in; served quickly and a friendly lady. It's a shame that the drive-in is currently difficult to reach, but KFC can't do anything about that.

I love going to this place! Fast service, quite clean, friendly staff and delicious chicken.

Bad and extremely slow service. There were four of us ordering a simple item and we had to wait more than 30 minutes for our order. When we inquired when our order would be ready, we were told that a colleague had taken another item first.

The food was delicious and the service was top-notch.

The service was very unfriendly; we had to wait half an hour for our food, and orders after ours (5 boxes) were ready 10 minutes before us! There were at least 8 staff members busy with the orders, only one of whom was actually doing anything! We even saw someone literally walking around for 10 minutes with a large pot of sauce… I have never experienced such bad service!

The staff on Friday evening, August 21, was well organized and woke up quickly.

I ordered a burger without sauce; eventually, I opened the wrapper the burger was in, and I looked at the burger, and there was a huge amount of sauce on it, and part of my order was in my girlfriend's bag.

What a filthy place this is, dirty tables, you could eat off the floor, there is more than enough lying around. Broken sofas

Very bad. First of all, I didn't even get all my food served at the drive-thru. They didn't even complete my order. I ate my food and got a stomach ache afterwards, even though I've been to multiple branches and it's not like that at all there. I really do not recommend this branch. The food also took a very long time to prepare, even though it was hardly busy.

The food was not really warm, the staff was not friendly, and it was very expensive.

I ordered 2 corn rolls, 1 strawberry milkshake, and 4 crispy tenders (ended up getting 10). I also ordered chili sauce (it wasn't included), but I saw on the receipt at home that everything was paid for, including the 10 crispy tenders that ended up going straight into the trash. A lesson learned for myself: double-check before driving off.

Ordering big bucket of strips for getaway it was mainly defaulty expected to have even small sauce... Nobody even ask to add or smthn...

Disappointing. The toilets were out of order, and the takeaway service was poor. Despite ordering the chicken and fries separately, they were packed together, leaving the fries soggy and affecting the quality of both items by the time I got home. I expected much better service and food preparation even the dine in is not satisfactory.

Plenty of seating inside and outside. Just a few kilometers from Efteling. Unfortunately, pickup isn't always smooth, and sometimes something is missing from your order: so be sure to check if you have everything when you go through the drive-thru. Other than that, the food is excellent.

It takes so terribly long to pick up your order. The drive-thru is constantly closed, and this place absolutely cannot call itself a 'FAST' food restaurant. Looking at the staff standing there working, it looks terrible too. The majority of the staff are slow and uninterested. KFC is quite tasty every now and then, but the ordering experience is horr-ble-ble.

Everything was super filthy. Tables, floor, toilets... There was literally not a single table without sauce, smeared fries, or other sludge on it. It was completely deserted, yet we still had to wait a very long time for our food. Definitely a red flag, a fast food restaurant a stone's throw from the Efteling where it is deserted at dinnertime. The food was okay. Nothing special, but then again, that’s not why you go to a fast food restaurant.

I liked it, I will come back more than once.

Disaster, the worst KFC I've ever been to. The whole place was filthy. Scattered fries. Half a chicken under the table when I wanted to use the restroom. Disaster. I don't recommend anyone to eat it.

Outrageous! The screen showed €20 and I was supposed to receive €15 in change, but I only received €5. I feel scammed by this. I have dementia and find it particularly upsetting that this is apparently being exploited. This is truly unacceptable.

I am never coming here again. First, you get sent away from the drive-thru because the POS system isn't working, so I ordered inside. There, a Bluetooth speaker was blasting at full volume in the kitchen, driving the customer completely crazy with two different kinds of music playing at the same time, because the music in the restaurant was playing too! Then, twice, my order was incorrect, so I left my food behind, paid, and got no food! I just went to Burger King instead. I hereby advise you to just drive right past, because this is absolutely hopeless.

I like going to KFC Waalwijk, but my last experience wasn't pleasant. I needed to pee and the toilet was very dirty, although they were cleaning it. The girl went to the manager and asked her if I could use the disabled toilet; the manager refused and said I had to wait. 15 minutes passed and I started getting a bit paranoid because I peed my pants; the manager has a lot to learn. The tables are always dirty. (My experience) I went again on Friday the 15th and the tables were dirty again.

Due to my work, I go to various places. And I visit fast food restaurants and cafeterias. But here, it surprised me. They speak softly. A bit curtly and with a grumpy look. It isn't about just one person, but several. The burger was lukewarm. And as a customer, you're just supposed to know what they have. Poor signage regarding what they have. A shame. But overall, I am quite positive. It is probably location-specific. In any case, I won't be going to this one again.

Today at 5 minutes past 12, I was at KFC and wanted to place an order. An employee approached me and said that KFC was not open yet. To my surprise, he then immediately walked outside to smoke a cigarette. I find this truly absurd and unprofessional. If the opening time is after 12:00, I expect customers to be served properly or, at the very least, to be informed in a friendly and clear manner why they cannot open yet. Instead, I got the feeling that customer service was not a priority at all. Very disappointing experience. Hopefully, management takes this seriously and treats customers better in the future.

"Just" KFC, This must be, without a doubt, one of the most lousy branches in the Netherlands. After a previous poor experience, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. In hindsight, it turns out they just don't learn here. Upon arrival at 21:25, there were literally 2 people waiting whose order was already being processed. We ordered via the kiosk and paid at 21:32; order 591. What stood out was that, despite it being quiet in the kitchen, it was a big, disorganized mess. Staff were arguing amongst themselves; products like burgers and buckets were being prepared, and over 21 minutes later, these products were still standing out in the open cooling down. They still had to refill the fryer oil, and everyone was waiting for that. After waiting for over 30 minutes, a new batch of fries finally arrived, and the orders were finished and handed over. I refused the order at that point and pointed out that all other items, except for the fresh fries, had been getting cold for a good 21 to 30 minutes. At first, they tried to pretend they didn't understand what I meant, but after indicating once again that we would not accept the order in this condition, the bag was taken back to the back. Over 10 minutes later, we received the bag back with a burger that was fresh and warm; they had put the old, cold items, such as the bucket and the larger burger, back into the bag while still cold. Ladies and gentleman of the Waalwijk branch, please think about quality for once and simply admit when things aren't running as they should.

WC is very dirty. No playing place for kids. Food is cold and you have to check your order to see what is missed. You have to ask many times to clean the table.

Very bad KFC. I have eaten better at other KFC branches, including the one in Nieuwegein. The chicken tasted dry and I had a stomach ache afterwards. The floors were dirty and the tables filthy.

The restaurant is very dirty and unhygienic. The service is very slow. It is a shame that KFC cannot provide the same service as the competitor.

The staff were just looking for trouble. The chicken was more oil than chicken. The upstairs was closed, I think so they wouldn't have to clean as much. The lobby itself was a huge fucking mess; the trash cans were overflowing. We didn't get any napkins or straws. The fries were so old I think they were fried this morning. The manager just stood there and watched. The waiting time was really abnormal. I think at least 45 minutes.

Never again! The chicken was like a sponge that had soaked up oil. You asked for chicken tenders and got a dry piece of rubber.

My order was ready long ago, but they forgot. With half-cold food, you wait for someone to clear the table. And then you wait longer than 10 minutes with the tray in your hands, the food gets cold, the child asks for food, and the staff tells you you're not patient anymore. Ridiculous!!!

I've eaten here twice, both times the chicken (chicken strips in wraps) was barely room temperature and literally as unchewable as rubber. I got food poisoning both times, I'm not checking again. I've worked fast-food, this sat in the heater for at least 5 hours, if only. I never write reviews, I don't feel the need and nobody cares. But y'all disgusting, so here we are.

Again a KFC location where the staff does not take care of the seating area and bins. Unfortunately this is a repeating issue wherever you go in The Netherlands to a KFC location. So sad for such a big franchise company. Restaurant in Kaatsheuvel is also understaffed on a saturday and no one seems to care about their customers. Order until receiving order took about 20min.! Time for someone to grab the issue and solve it ! Give me a call and I will make sure all the restaurants will meet the standards KFC stands for in the U.S.

Is the worst place ever I get the wrong order after like 50 minutes waiting in a empty place and when I claim it they say they can't do nothing and leave, the manager was incredible rude I will definitely NEVER come back I don't recommend go burger king

Truly the biggest joke and appearance of a KFC "restaurant" I've ever experienced. The food wasn't so much the problem. The wait time for "fast food" is insane! I waited 45 minutes for my food! The queue for some Efteling rides was even shorter than my order. The people behind the counter did LITERALLY NOTHING. Well, if pacing back and forth counts, maybe that counts. Skip this KFC; buy it at the store and make it yourself. It's guaranteed to be faster than here.

The food was okay. It was awkward to eat over containers, and it wasn't practical. And the toilet, like in France, was super clogged.

Excellent service! The saleswoman even took the trouble to use her phone to translate since I don't speak English. Everything was perfect, thank you so much. This place is definitely worth visiting.

Ordered an ice cream and ended up waiting 20 minutes for a slow waiter who couldn't even count 3 euros

The drink machine is still broken after seven months. I've given you a few tries, but it's always the same: the drinks taste like they've been sitting in a glass all night, no bubbles, and lukewarm to boot. Please send someone to check the machine. I won't be going back; I'll be choosing McDonald's from now on—the drinks are always cold and bubbly there.

What terrible service, truly awful. My IQ is practically on the floor here. I'm not one to complain, but this was just plain annoying. Forgetting something in an order happens. I have experience in the restaurant myself. But the fact that you call back to say something's missing, and the phone gets passed on to others four times because no one wants to answer or doesn't speak Dutch... with giggling in the background and "noooo, why are you giving me the phone?" Finally, someone who speaks Dutch, and I get to explain for the fifth time that they forgot something. Can I still come pick it up?... how sweet... Well, I've been actively waiting in the restaurant for 20 minutes now, they've seen me, and no one comes to the cash register. Even though that was the instruction on the phone. Oh, and while I was waiting, someone dropped a pair of tongs on the floor... they just went right back on... Absolutely terrible.

For the price, it was absolutely fine. We got everything and the milkshakes were super delicious, only a shame the food wasn't as fresh (the fries were soggy and the chicken was cold), but it was also quieter inside, so I understand that in that case the food is a bit older.

I don't know what kind of staff is working there, but it wasn't going well. We didn't arrive during peak hours, but it took so long. Half my order was wrong, and they'd simply forgotten the others. When I tried to ask someone about my order, I was ignored. It also got cold really quickly, and the tables weren't clean. I work in the hospitality industry, but this was completely unacceptable.

I was just turned away from the drive-through, wasn't greeted kindly (subtly, of course), and there wasn't even time to respond or react. I've had several bad experiences with this branch, and this was the last straw. I'll never go back! And I strongly advise against it.

The "I want cheese" loaded fries only had onions—call it "I want onions." Cheese nowhere to be seen. Furthermore, the Original Pieces from three menus only had one thigh, and the rest only chicken breast, not a single leg. Very poorly distributed and disappointing.

Then you order a "I want cheese" menu, and the container of cheese sauce is missing. Once inside, they casually tell you it's out of stock. Once you start on the burger, you discover there's no cheese sauce on it either!!! "I WANT CHEESE," the name says it all. No compensation, no apologies, nothing... Awful service, and they should just mark it as sold out if the main ingredient isn't there.

Rude staff, they forgot something. I'm going to report it. They told me we're going to make it, and I said I'm going to eat my food outside otherwise it'll get cold. A little girl with black hair told me she'd already given me the burger, and she made me look like a liar. I made it clear to her that I definitely didn't get the burger, and eventually a woman said she was going to make another one. She asked me to wait around the corner while my food was getting cold on the patio. I made it clear I was going to eat my food, that otherwise it would get cold, and she said in a very rude way, "Sir, do you want a solution or not?" I responded that it wasn't my fault that they made a mistake and that they should just bring it to me. This was completely against their wishes, and when they delivered the burger outside on the terrace, the small woman with black hair said we were dirty Belgians. Totally unacceptable!

Easy to get to by public transport and tasty

Everything was cold after a 12-minute wait. I was the only one, so I went back and the friendliness was nowhere to be found! After 14 minutes, a new order arrived, and thankfully it was still warm. I almost got thrown in the car, so cheerful and friendly!

This place is absolutely filthy. Not a single clean table in sight and when you ask for one to be cleaned, the staff couldn’t care less. The chicken pieces were the driest, toughest pieces I’ve ever had. Drop one and it might actually chip the floor tiles. If I were KFC headquarters, I’d be rushing to remove the brand name from this embarrassment of a location.

Well, what can I say... I haven't been to a fast food restaurant in years. I swore off McDonald's years ago. So this time I went to KFC. It's still fast food, of course. The service could be a bit friendlier. They were rather snarky (even the team leader). The atmosphere was also fast food. Not very pleasant. It'll be quite a few years before I go to a similar place again.
