McDonald's in Wijk 00 Waalwijk

Man oh man… it’s taking ridiculously long here. First, the drive-in wasn't working. That can happen, of course, so you go inside and don't lie, it wasn't busy, but I had to wait 34 minutes for some food.

Great, no roadside diner where everything is filthy.

I came half an hour before the advertised closing time, tired and hungry after work, expecting to be able to order a simple meal. There were several cars at the drive-thru, which made me think the restaurant was still open. But despite it being 30 minutes before closing, they were already closed. I wasn’t the only one who was turned away — several other people were also left without food. If you’re going to close early, at least update your opening hours so customers don’t waste their time coming here. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

It's just a McDonald's. You get what you expect.

The service was very friendly, however the branch interior has the feel of a train station. The branches in Austria look quite different.

Clean restaurant and good quality hot food. Easy to navigate the screens into English for ordering and had no issued working out what was needed - much better than any machines tried in France.

I strongly advise against getting anything here 20 minutes before closing time, because they give you old, dry chicken on a bun with extra sauce to compensate??? And cold fries. I was here last night and would rather have eaten nothing than what they gave me; I wouldn't even let an animal consume that…

McDonald’s Waalwijk remains a special place for us. We’ve been coming here since we were little, and it feels like a little party every time. The atmosphere is familiar, the service is friendly, and it’s just the kind of place where you always feel at ease. A piece of childhood that is still just as fun as it used to be.

I thought it was a fine place, but they hadn't even put the Double Big Testi on the Double Big Testi menu. There were only fries and a glass of cola in the bag. We had to go back to get our burger back. The second time we ordered the Double Big Testi, only the Big Testi was listed, without tomato. Even though we definitely ordered the Double Big Testi and hadn't specifically indicated that we wanted "no tomato".

Limited parking space, good flow at the drive-thru.

Like the rest of the restaurants in the same chain. Pleasant, not crowded. Easily accessible by bike path as well.

Finally, I can eat gluten-free at McDonald's. Always great!

Preparing the food took half an hour. That is much too long for a fast food restaurant. The toilet is full of flies.

It's a shame they're just standing around looking and no tables are being cleaned. They might as well send some staff home. Sticky mess.

The restaurant was packed at 6 p.m. There were annoying blowflies and fruit flies throughout the entire restaurant, including the restrooms. You cannot eat at your leisure because of this.

I've experienced this again in recent months. The phenomenon of forgetting something in your order keeps recurring. Either they forget a portion of fries, or they forget a burger. It's awful that you have to check every time after ordering to make sure everything is in. And sure enough, on December 3rd, we ordered McDonald's again for four people, and guess what? All the fries were forgotten...unbelievable. This is the fifth time in 2022 that something has been forgotten. What a deplorable level of service in Waalwijk.

Just like all McDonald's. It's been years since I was there, but now with the kids and grandchildren after a day at Efteling. There are no more lines at the counter and they bring the food to you.

Came by at 5 past 12 and it was already closed, even though it says open until 1 o'clock..

The delivery is 1 hour and 45 minutes late. I am still waiting.

Staff mostly do not speak (decent) Dutch, and friendliness is not a priority either. Things were forgotten again last time, and the portions of fries are pathetic compared to other locations.

Drove to the McDonald's drive-thru today, and well, the person running it... No good afternoon, no please, no bon appétit. Lost their tongue, or do they happen not to speak Dutch or English?! Their face was literally and figuratively like a thundercloud. I don't want to come across the wrong way, but that person was wearing a headscarf and was dark-skinned. They were just standing there alone at the drive-thru while others were working. The food was okay, but the nuggets were definitely not fresh; they must have been kept under a lamp to keep them warm. Service and atmosphere were very bad!! Also, the person who took the order wasn't exactly a calling card; her face radiates absolutely nothing. Her Dutch wasn't top-notch either, but she could at least take the order.

This place is crazy , uotside was 35degress , we tought we will have something nice to eat , unfortunetly inside was even more crazier , people was walking shirtles , no air conditioner , staff was walking whit food completly sweating , it looked like that sweat is already in uor food , place is recently rebuilded but its just cosmetics , very dissapointed , meh

They forgot the sauce with the chicken nuggets and put the wrong topping on my MacFlurry. But despite that, they were nice and the atmosphere was good.

Not the best McDonald's. Several tables and benches were very dirty, and there were no table signs left at the ordering stations, so you had to walk to the cashier to ask if they could restock.

I ordered 2 McFlurries; it took 15 minutes for 2 ice creams right away, and when I finally got my order, the ice creams were only half-filled and melted. What a disgrace!

Bought some apple wedges to go with my Burger King meal. They were delicious. Seats were very comfortable but staff was a tad slow.

Great staff and food, but the disabled parking spaces are far from the entrance, and then you have to go over two speed bumps in a wheelchair. And the disabled toilet hadn't been cleaned for a while. A shame.

Constantly not taking orders, opening time is 16:00. Why bother urself with such thing like work then at all? What is the point of this place if i can’t even order food from there most of the time?

The food is much nicer than the McDonald's back in England, and they had gluten free bread so very happy wife.

Really terrible! We had to go back to the counter twice because we didn't get everything we paid for. Apparently, a little attention for an order is too much to ask.

We went through the McDonald's drive-thru, was spoken to quite curtly by the young man when placing the order, and paying went about the same way. Upon arriving at window 2, we received our food and drinks, but here too, not a word was said; we were given a bag and thought, "Okay, there's more to come," because the young lady didn't say anything, "Enjoy your meal and have a nice day..." A bit bewildered, we found our way to the parking lot, only to discover that there was very little fries in the medium menu. In my opinion, this is one of the worst McDonald's branches I have ever been to.

It was super fun! 😊 The service was faster than last time 💨; back then it was very quiet but slow 🐢. This time it was reasonably busy 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 and very fast 🚀. I love coming back! 👍

Being sent from pillar to post. Here, customers just have to call Thuisbezorgd themselves, because things go wrong quite often and that is how they always do it. But Thuisbezorgd doesn't help customers because that's the restaurant's job... 2.5 hours later, no food and money gone.

I don't recommend it, the service is rude, people want to eat after work and the flowers are terrible. Avoid at all costs.

The MC is located in an illogical place with almost no parking spaces, because they share a large parking lot with Burger King.

It took a long time. The Happy Meal was missing, and there was a cheeseburger without cheese.

May 17th, after a long drive, got some water here with the kids. I was already on alert because the order wasn't right the last time I was here either. Upon arrival at the pick-up window, I was initially given the wrong order. I returned it and showed the receipt again to see what it was supposed to be. Eventually, I received the order; I glanced at it briefly and it seemed correct. Upon arriving home, it turned out there were no sauces and the banana milkshakes were strawberry. I contacted McDonald’s Netherlands via Messenger because you can't get hold of the branch. Message back the next day: "How unfortunate that you had this experience. We have forwarded it to the branch. May we have your email and phone number?" Yes, sure, here they are. "Thank you. You can expect a response within 5 working days." Well, they are just as good at that as handing over an order properly and warm. 9 working days later and I haven't heard anything more. Last time at McDonald’s. Outrageously expensive! Cold food and an incorrect order. You think you’re making the kids happy, but they end up being disappointed. And service: 0.0. Shame on you, McDonald’s.

I went to McDonald’s with some friends yesterday, and when our food was brought to us, we received a box of nuggets that we never ordered. At first we thought it was a nice mistake and that we got free nuggets… until we opened the box and realized some of them had already been eaten by someone else. It was honestly disgusting and very concerning from a hygiene point of view. I can’t understand how a half-eaten box of food could be served to customers. Really disappointed with this experience.

It has gotten so bad here over the last month and a half. McFlurry half full, you come home missing just 2 burgers. So disappointing, usually used to be good and now it's always something. Often they even have to speak English too.

Cozy, well-organized McDonald's with plenty of self-service kiosks so you don't have to stand in line. Your food is neatly brought to your table.

Went through the McDrive for 2 Sundays without peanut pieces and mozzarella sticks with chili sauce. Unfortunately, we realized too late that they had forgotten the chili sauce; one of the Sundays contained some peanut pieces. Luckily, we aren't allergic.

Better mcdonalds food than England. Most importantly they held on to my daughters pet toy dog and she was reunited with it the next door. Great staf!

Went to dinner with two others last night. All three got sick that same night. Nauseous, stomachs completely upset. Puking. And this was the only thing we all three ate the same thing. It was already strange because the food arrived within two minutes and I'd ordered a lot. But it wasn't right anyway. I think there are a lot of people who ate there last night and are sick today.

On Boxing Day, I went to the McDrive and ordered a Happy Meal and a vanilla milkshake for both children. The toddler wasn't satisfied, as he preferred chocolate to vanilla. When we asked if one of the two could be exchanged after we'd just paid, we were simply offered an extra one. The employee really didn't need to do that; that's the Christmas spirit!

19.12.2025 It's the second day, and only one machine is working. The staff doesn't speak English. Cash only. It's incredibly difficult; something's wrong every time. This McDonald's isn't like any other McDonald's chain. It's special. DIFFRENT DAY - Really? A 25-minute wait for food? Late at night, when there's practically no one there. A girl from the service department hitting on the guys in the kitchen and having fun might be delaying work. The manager is completely clueless about what his staff is doing on shift. Best regards.

Fast food isn't the norm anymore these days; waiting for lukewarm food is more the norm. Here they take it a step further: when you unwrap your hamburger, all the ketchup is on the outside of the bun! Perfect if you want to quickly grab a burger while driving...

I come here regularly, especially when there are good discounts. Orders are usually prepared quickly, and the food is what you'd expect from McDonald's. It's ideal for a quick bite without breaking the bank, especially if you take advantage of the special offers.

A very small place to grab a tasty sandwich. You can eat inside, but there are only about three tables. The food itself is good, but I find it a bit too expensive to go there regularly.

If you get a Happy Meal at the drive-thru, you drive on, and you don't see a toy in the Happy Meal. You're really taking the piss out of your child. Check your orders because things almost always go wrong with you.

The young man in the restroom could have done with a bit more speed, but Symphony by Clean Bandit was quite enjoyable while we waited. The food was McDonald's.

It's sad that you order almost €35 worth of food and these are the fries you get...in a word, worthless. It's because you have to give a star because this place isn't worth a single star.

Just finished the Maestro Truffle. There wasn't a truffle in sight, just some arugula, and that for almost 8 euros. Outrageous! The Chicken Sensation was ice cold. Not even worth eating. Spent 15 euros on crappy food. Keep it up, McD Waalwijk!

6 times been there and a 6 times the cheese is not melted and the burger looks like shit, and chicken nuggets are not cooked well go around this McDonald.

What I experienced here has never happened to me before. The four of us went out for dinner after a day at Efteling. We ordered two menus and two happy meals. I finished my Mc Chicken box and saw that a bite had already been taken out of the burger. It was terrible, because someone else had sent this burger back because it was either wrong or not correct, and it was simply put back for the next one. It was disgusting. The store manager was very indignant, but it seemed like he didn't believe me. However, I did get a new burger right away.

The atmosphere is busy. But what do you expect around dinner time? 😄

Two Happy Meals arrived without happy fries (ordered via home delivery). This isn't the first time such errors have occurred. With local orders, ours also occasionally came without anything. It would be helpful if more attention were paid to the accuracy of the order before serving. A satisfied customer will recommend the restaurant, and I think that's the goal: as many satisfied customers as possible.

A great McDonald's, open now, friendly staff, and the food arrived quickly, hot, and delicious. Parking was also easy. If you were to go to a McDonald's, this is a better one in the Den Bosch area.
