de Brabantse hap in Wijk 00 Waalwijk

I've been coming to this chip shop for over 25 years; it's the best in Waalwijk. The current owner has been running the business for 18 years. I've never had a bad experience with them; they're always friendly and the food is good. I highly recommend it.

Yes, everything is perfectly organized here, that's just the way it is. Delicious food, inexpensive, and ready quickly. Those Smash burgers are really good, and the fries with homemade sauce are absolutely perfect 🍔🍟😋 Here I am again, number 53. This time I went for a double Smash burger and fries with stew. Everything was delicious again. But next time, I won't be so stingy with the stew 😁 The double Smash burger made up for that.

Since Google/Brabantse HAP does not allow me to post a negative review, I am forced to adjust my review: What a wonderful snack bar the Brabantse HAP is. Really the best snack bar in all of Brabant (or even the whole of the Netherlands, wow!) The staff is incredibly friendly to their customers, many snack bars could learn something from that. Never before have I been helped so friendly as at the Brabantse HAP. The food also tasted delicious. Delicious fries, not too crispy and certainly not too limp. The snacks also taste like more. I recommend everyone to eat at this super great, super friendly place because you will not regret it.

One of the best cafeterias in Waalwijk. The only downside is that you have to pay extra for disposable cups and containers.

Great fries, great snacks, staff okay (except for the boss because woe betide if you are critical, then the true immature nature comes out with the lady of the house Petra, which can also be read in other reviews) only ridiculously expensive. Medium fries with satay and mayo cost 5.60. Mexicano with satay sauce costs 3.85. Ridiculous prices, and the explanation you get about it that everything has become more expensive... strange that all other cafeterias don't have that so bad 🤔... but you can't say anything about that. Pay special attention to the reaction to this review 😉 ... says enough.

Staff is often very grumpy, disrespectful and/or smart-alecky. I'm normally never one for (bad) reviews, but it was fun once.

Since my son lives in Waalwijk, we have found this very good chip shop. From the first visit we have been completely in love with the Brabant snack. Very nice people who have a chat and also very good fries with home-made sauces. I would say see you again soon😍

Not sure why employees act this stupid. Today we have ordered fries and ice cream for the kids . .and I have ordered for me from a next restaurant, when I tried to eat in the outside tables with the kids, I had the lady telling us we can't eat because we have something from AH. And they comment: "helaas pindakaas". I will never come back again.

The references written below are completely out of place. It is a great chip shop with friendly staff. Good food, but if you don't have your child under control and you are told about it, you just start running cats??? Keep your young under control!!! This case is great!!! We stay, a big 10

I used to live in Breda and I came there every week, it's a great place. I now live in Limburg and regularly drive there when I go to pick up my kids. You can sit here in peace and quiet with the best fries, snacks and burgers in the area. What I especially love is the coarse frikandel with their own homemade special sauce topper. Staff and owners (who are always there) are always friendly. Take away, everything is always ready quickly and delicious to eat on site. Keep up the good work, you will definitely see me again.

Do not eat here, lady who works there wants to hit a 3 year old toddler because he is too busy..

If you have such grumpy staff or owners who go crazy on children, I think you can close immediately

Today an employee was shouting at a 2/3 year old child. What a service, how hospitable you are.

Never again for me! It was the first and last time I ate here. It was nice to eat something, quite okay food but nothing special. Inside there was a young lady with her 2 children who had also eaten something. Her youngest daughter was crying and the woman who worked here became so mad at that child, it was really not normal. I had to restrain myself from interfering with it, but I now regret it so much. Really so! Later I tried to reassure the young lady, but it was visible that she was very shocked. Never again for me and I certainly won't recommend this to anyone.

WoW!! Recently moved to Waalwijk and found a TOP cafeteria with friendly owners. The homemade hot and cold sauces from our own kitchen are highly recommended! Also in terms of price and quality, absolutely excellent.

- staff looks grumpy, unfriendly appearance of prefer not to, are eating behind the counter while they are baking and customers are present. - nowhere to sit while waiting. - fries are limp and greasy. Don't even get me started on the snacks. Never again for us, yuck

Goulash is fresh and tasty (and of course spicy!) fries are amazing, service is lovely. Nothing to complain about. You shouldn't miss it if you are nearby. Prices are not high and they are worth the joy on mouth. Overall amazing experiance.

Quality varies but, to be honest, usually good. However, customer friendliness and service is an issue. Staff/owners are often not friendly and sometimes even rude.

My husband just got fries, stew and fries satay Stew the bottom of the pan 1 piece of meat mayonnaise was a teaspoon full Fries satay they had wiped the satay a little over the fries and the mayonnaise see above and this happened to us the 2nd time, it's scandalous

Tastiest frikadellen special from all over the Netherlands! (With their own special sauce) Goulash is also delicious! Staff also friendly and always up for a nice chat. We drive from Den Bosch to Waalwijk especially for this cafeteria. Top!!

That woman is indeed not good. Annoys everyone and nags at everyone. Also the nastiest stinkiest fries in all of Waalwijk and the surrounding area.

You get 2 stars because the food is good, but that lady of yours is really antisocial. Was whining that she had to unload her personal car without any signal that she had to unload as an employee of the chip shop. Instead of asking nicely, she decided to honk and make funny gestures at a lady in the car. Another man walked into the car and were ready to leave but she kept shouting and accusing them of holding everything up when it was her fault. Ultimately, you as the owner decided to take it from her car to stop the conflict. But everyone has seen this. Beware of your reputation.

The taste of fries is moderate. I tried them only with Goulash sauce and that sause was also moderate in taste. I didn't try any other menu positions yet. Staff is friendly.
