Food Master The Zwijs in Wijk 00 Waalwijk

I've ordered here a bunch of times because of other friends and overall pretty ok the food is fine, my problem is that I ALWAYS find hair on my sauces, i'm not going to order anymore because i thought it was a one time thing but i just pulled a long black hair from my food and i want to puke, very sad because the food it's actually ok but I can't handle this.

Food was past its sell-by date and not tasty

Inedible, cold and way too much sauce, and even worse raw hamburger and not too cheap, actually just scandalous

Always been my go-to chip shop. I understand there's a new owner at the helm. Greasy snacks dripping with grease and broken in the container. Greasy fries and just plain bad. Never ordering from here again!

Things have gone downhill since the takeover. The Frikandel Speciaal (special frikandel) wasn't cut and was raw/cold inside. I threw away 1.5 frikandels. Never again. I tried again later for a milkshake because my regular chip shop was closed (what could go wrong?!). It wasn't hospitable at all. They stirred the milkshake a bit by hand, and when I got home, the sauce was at the bottom, then the ice cream, and then the milk. It wasn't mixed at all. And of course, that flimsy plastic straw you can't drink a milkshake with. Not recommended!

Shawarma sandwich: shawarma was on a hamburger bun. Completely soaked in grease and the shawarma so salty. Impossible. Still ate it, bad choice. Been sick for two days. Never again!

July 2023 Second attempt because the Molentje was closed. Holidays. The Zwijs was 55 minutes late and everything was cold and soggy...yuck. So never again. Moreover, a frikandel special loose and sauces mixed together is not how it should be. Ordered satay sauce twice, received one and a stew that was not ordered. This was really our last order here. Mar 2023 We called in our order in the car on Sunday afternoon and that we would be there in 25 minutes. When I walked in, I didn't expect that they still had to start baking and I would still have to stand and wait. Moreover, it was not busy at all! The food was good, but less than at Het Molentje in Besoyen.

Order delivered an hour later as agreed. Fries were tough. Snacks were not warm. Never ordering there again.

When we order something, it is usually delivered via "home delivery". The food is good and you get enough.

When you post a review, please be honest. What do you mean, cozy and comfortable seating and a good atmosphere? I found it so lacking in atmosphere with worn out furniture that I took it away instead of eating on site. Food is good but only recommended for takeaway.

Nice to sit here. We had a delicious hamburger and fries. Staff cordial and helpful. They also have an extensive ice cream corner.

Quick and easy lunch. Clean, friendly, food was good...everybody is aware that you get the full dutch fast food menue if you come here...plus is that there is parking right in front of the shop...

Not the address for a kapsalon shawarma, with lots of fries, almost no meat and a burnt cheese layer. Waste of your money

They improved a lot over time. They used to be the most expensive ones around, give you the wrong order and take literally so long to prepare the food that people would call me for what I'm taking so long for with the food. But now they got the title of best one around and the prices are reasonable too. The food has always been good, though. You can eat at the place, sit outside in Spring and Summer, the staff are nice and seem to know, like, everyone, there's always MTV on and there's a bathroom. Love it now!
