As a real pizza lover, I can say this is one of the best American-style pizzerias I tried in The Netherlands, with very friendly staff. Will order again for sure!

New York Pizza on Oranjelaan in Zoetermeer has finally improved its service. The pizzas are also delicious and still hot when delivered. For a change, I ordered BBQ sticky Korean chicken. Wow, that was disgusting. Raw chicken (salmonella danger!!!), it was a soggy mess, and no BBQ sauce. Definitely not worth €6.99. It went straight in the trash.

Placed an order through Thuisbezorgd at 7 a.m. After an hour, I received nothing. I called them and they said it had been delivered incorrectly and that they would redo the order. Another hour later, still nothing. I called again and they said they would redo the order. Finally, two and a half hours later, and nothing. They told me to contact Thuisbezorgd. What a terrible mess this place is.

The pizzas you sell are excellent. Except for the fact that almost all the meat is halal. For someone who believes something other than Islam (my family and I), this is truly terrible. We cannot eat meat sacrificed in the name of Allah. So from now on, we'll be ordering from an Italian restaurant.

We used to order from Domino's. Ordered here for the first time this week. It's clear that the pizzas have better toppings and taste better.

We received the Hawaiian pizza with spoiled pineapple. As soon as we opened the box, you could smell the pungent odor. We then called the location in question and were told three times that it wasn't possible because a new can had just been opened. Then, with great difficulty, we received a new pizza with the pineapple still loose. SPOILED AGAIN! I don't think the pizza maker there knows what spoiled ingredients smell/taste like. This was truly outrageous. Even though we order from you quite often, this was definitely the last time...

The pizza crusts don't always go off, but they do at NY! My partner has a firm favorite, and I like to change things up a bit. Never had any complaints.

Overall, the food is good. I just think the people in the store should wear gloves. They touch everything, and you don't know where their hands have been. You also don't see them washing their hands.

I waited almost an hour and a half for two pizzas that arrived completely cold/lukewarm. After an hour, I called and was told the delivery driver was on her way. After half an hour, nothing had arrived. I'll never order from here again!

Very tasty pizzas with fast delivery 🍕

From 2022 onwards there will be a new owner with a completely new team. That is noticeable! Pizzas are tasty again and arrive warm. The quality has really improved enormously and customers can find the store again, which means that waiting times can sometimes increase a bit during peak hours and weekends. Definitely the best pizzaria in Zoetermeer.

My experiences with food were a while ago and were good, but what a moron they have as a delivery person. Driving at 40 across a zebra crossing (Zoetermeer, Dorpstraat near CKC) where children are already walking on and then honk and have a big mouth. Sad!

It was great until last year. This year you have to look for the meat on your pizza. Even if you pay 2 euros extra for the meat. It's time to go to another pizza place. We think it's a shame, because we thought New York pizza was the best. Delivery is super fast..

Every time I order here they forget something, including the sauce, and if you say there is no sauce on it, they lie that the person on the phone made it themselves. My partner picked up the pizza and saw a girl making the pizza and the person on the phone was a man. Just be honest and make sure everything is okay for once.

Burnt, stingy, asking for a tip (while it had already been given via the website). Just order somewhere else and at least you won't be disappointed

PITY! When my hamburger pizza was delivered (which I ordered for the first time), I discovered after 1 slice that there was no cheese on it while there should be 3 cheeses on it. After calling New York pizza I was helped very rudely by a lady. It was said that I absolutely should not have eaten a bite, that it is now my own fault and I can see for myself that there is no cheese on it. Sir, it's a shame, but unfortunately you shouldn't have eaten it. I have now paid for a €16 pizza without cheese and they are not budging. For me it is the last time I order here and I also advise people against ordering here, even if it is only for the rude service of New York pizza Zoetermeer

It is certainly delicious at New York Pizza, but it is very disappointing that Zoetermeer, of all locations, does not participate in the anniversary of New York Pizza and does not do 1 + 1 for free.

Received a Downtown Döner without a bag of lettuce for the umpteenth time... Can't you read? Lettuce is still delivered after calling, but an hour later, the pizza is already gone. Edit: bag of lettuce was never delivered. Definitely given to the rabbits?

I heard that this business was recently taken over and therefore gave it another chance. Good pizza, delivered hot and super fast, very satisfied!

The 1-star reviews here are more than justified. Unfortunately I did not see this in advance. When ordering 2 pizzas we waited 1 hour. Then called to check if the order had arrived correctly. We were told that it would take another 1 hour. For this reason, we canceled the order by telephone and the employee indicated that the paid amount would be refunded within 5 working days. It is now 2 months later and you are being sent from pillar to post. Head office says we will contact the franchisee, but he never gets in touch. The head office itself then takes no action to refund the canceled order and then sort things out with the franchisee. Definitely not NY Pizza worthy. This business needs to close ASAP.

Bizarre! Waited 2 hours for a few pizzas that were also lukewarm in the end! Sauce was open through the bag. Really really bad! Unfortunately, I agree with previous reviews. Last time we ordered here. 2 weeks later I tried again but again had to wait 2 hours for 2 pizzas and finger food which also turned out not to be available. You have really deteriorated. This was really the last time for us, apparently nothing is being done about it.

Pizza is a bad shop far too late

First we waited two hours and then 2 of the 8 pizzas are wrong. When we tried to call back, there was no answer. After half an hour I tried again to ask for a refund, but they could only give a discount on a new purchase. That will never be New York pizza again.

Pizzas themselves are not bad. Unfortunately, staff sometimes make a mistake or two or three. Staff never informed of the promotions so that if you don't pay attention you have to pay too much and sometimes simply rude on the phone 😕😕😕

The website again states a much shorter delivery time (1/2 hour) than reality (1 1/2) turns out to be when you call. You have already paid, so apart from canceling (you may have to do so due to the award), there are not many options. And then they finally arrive and another pizza is missing. "We'll be back in 5 minutes sir." Not so...wait again. Not the first time, but certainly the last time

Ordered at 5:30 PM... And it didn't arrive until 8:10 PM (delivery indication was at 6:20 PM), cold and tough... hardly any toppings or sauce on the pizza, which was clearly put together in a hurry. I think even the can of coke had fallen and was spraying in all directions. No point in calling and then waiting for hours again and of course the supermarkets were already closed. I can understand that it is busy, but just stop taking orders & communicate with your customers... This was just a waste of my money.

Order placed and delivery time 40 minutes according to email. Called after more than an hour, order will arrive in 30 minutes with apologies. After 40 minutes a phone call, sorry it's busy, we need at least another half hour. More than two hours for an order? No thank you, canceled and now let's hope that money will be refunded.

Placed an order on May 21. After almost an hour and a half I called and the order still had to be prepared and it would take at least 45 minutes. Given this, I canceled the order. 2 weeks ago I sent a message via the New York Pizza website because I still have not received my money back. In other words: it is now a month later and I have not received an order and have not received my money back and my message has not been responded to. Unacceptable!

The customer service is terrible, very customer unfriendly. You're better off going to Dominos or Happy Italy. You don't have to go here for the quality.

Ordered about 5 times now, and every time there have been problems with the order. You order a number of products and simply receive less or the wrong one. Great guests! We accidentally ordered while we wanted the pizza later, the order was already ready. They started baking new pizzas for us so that it arrived at the desired time.

Brutal people. My package was stapled. I called the business. The boy was so rude. You should fire such people immediately. They have no manners on how to speak to customers. He acted as if I had asked a very stupid question. He even talked in a high tone as if he was arguing with me. Poor quality, hair in my food, shawarma sandwich was more lettuce than meat. Calling the restaurant to complain didn't help. The hair in my food was my own fault, they said (even though I'm bald). The food has no taste whatsoever. Once, but NEVER again. What a dirty intention.

Double pepperoni pizza floats in the oil. Soil not good, not like normal. According to the employee, the base has risen too short and the pepperoni is very greasy (fattier than normal) and therefore the complaint cannot be resolved. A request to resolve the complaint another time and to compensate for it will not be accommodated. Logic of a pizza maker!!! Too bad, because nothing else is done with a justified complaint.

Pizzas with mushrooms are baked too short, leaving them raw. Otherwise ok.

Delicious, fresh pizza that, at 25cm, is still a bit too big... but very filling :) Happy to take the extra step for the customer; I recently called to order the Chicken Pesto pizza, which apparently had been out of stock for a while. Too bad, but then the employee proposes to change a few toppings, without extra costs, so that I can still enjoy my beloved pizza. Awesome!
