New York Pizza in Wijk 00 Centrum

Very disappointed. I ordered the BBQ sticky Korean chicken. It looks incredibly tasty online, but it doesn't look tasty at all, and it doesn't taste fantastic either. The sauce was just squirted on top; there is nothing "Korean sticky chicken" about it!! It is not what I expected and is therefore a waste of my money.

We ordered two pizzas here this afternoon at 5:15 PM. After waiting for just over an hour, the pizzas were finally delivered. Unfortunately, it turned out there was something wrong with one of the pizzas, so we called immediately. We were told that a new pizza would be brought. Because we didn't want to take turns eating, my wife decided to wait to eat until the replacement pizza arrived. However, at 7:30 PM, we still hadn't received anything. We called again and were told by Casper that they had simply forgotten the pizza. So, after nearly 2.5 hours, it still had to be made and then delivered. By that time, our hunger had naturally disappeared. We therefore indicated that we wanted our money back. That, too, was not possible. The only thing they could offer was that the forgotten pizza would be made and delivered after all. We then asked if we could get both pizzas again at a different time, so that we could still eat the order together at a later date. That, too, was absolutely not negotiable. According to Casper, we should have just eaten the other pizza. Mistakes can happen, but we find the way this was handled truly disappointing. After waiting for over two and a half hours—during which we deliberately did not eat because we wanted to eat together—there was absolutely no willingness to help find a suitable solution. No refund, no possibility of getting both pizzas again at another time, and there was a complete lack of hospitality or understanding. For us, this is therefore the last time we will order here. Anyone can make a mistake, but it is precisely the way you resolve a mistake that determines how you experience your treatment as a customer. And in that regard, Casper absolutely did not give us the feeling that our order or our complaint was taken seriously. Very unfortunate, but for us: never again.

Another order went wrong. Clearly indicated no ONIONS on the New York Pizza App, and sure enough, it was delivered with onions again. You call and get someone on the line who, after repeating it 5 times, still doesn't get it and just dares to claim that there really aren't any red onions on it. Ordered on August 22nd, around 8 PM. I'm really done with this now; this was the last time.

Don't be surprised if your food is already 'delivered' in the app and only half an hour later does a delivery person ring the doorbell.

Very filthy NYP branch. Inside the shop itself, there is a bicycle (more like a scooter) that has been taken apart. There is trash everywhere. Hygiene is nowhere to be found. I won't be ordering pizza here again. Staff park on the sidewalk, throw trash out of their cars, hang around on the street, and pee through the fence at the neighbors' (no toilet inside the shop?). The manager clearly isn't taking charge and is preoccupied with other matters. A dying business.

We had ordered 2 pizzas and a pint of Ben & Jerry's here. The pizza arrived on time, but the young guy had forgotten the pint of B&J. He asked if we wanted it brought over with a future order in the neighborhood or if we wanted a voucher for that €10 (!!). Nicely done by this guy, so we indicated that we wanted the former, later that evening. It is now 30 minutes before closing time and I have a strong suspicion that bro isn't going to ring the doorbell again. Too bad, because the rest was actually pretty good, but if you leave your customers in the lurch like this, you really bring it upon yourself to get a 1-star review.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The place seemed chaotic, disorganized, and not particularly hygienic. During my visit, the staff were throwing dough at each other and even tossing pizza dough onto the roof, which appeared very unprofessional. I also got the impression that the staff consisted mostly of very young people without adequate supervision. This created an overall impression that was neither trustworthy nor clean. For a food service establishment, I expect more order, professionalism, and hygiene.

Hi. I order from you quite often. I placed an order at 17:41; the site stated that it would be delivered to my address at 18:40. Next, I called the branch here in Roermond. They said it would be arriving any minute now. I have called the branch 3 times since then; my food still hasn't been delivered, and the employee who answered the phone—the same employee who took the 2 other calls—suddenly says that the food might not have been made. It is now 19:44 and there is no delivery person to be seen. Yes, sorry, to be honest, that is really not normal. 2 hours of waiting for nothing. This is not normal. I understand delays when it is busy, but 2 hours and then the food isn't made is really bad.

2nd pizza free, yet they charge nearly 14 euros for delivery; this really makes no sense.

Be careful when ordering a pizza here with extra garlic sauce. This is the result. Luckily, the pizza only costs €20 (!). Customer service didn't make things much better... Ordering here = money down the drain.

Mixed but decent pizza experience in Roermond We tried New York Pizza in Roermond and had a mixed experience overall. The pizzas are tasty with a good variety of options — you can choose from classic Margherita to more creative combinations, and the flavours were enjoyable when everything was prepared well. Many customers seem to appreciate the quality and delivery service, especially for quick takeout or dinner.  However, not everything was perfect. Some orders arrived later than expected or were incomplete, and a few people reported less helpful customer service in those situations. Because of this inconsistency, we felt the experience was average rather than excellent.  Overall: good for a casual pizza night or delivery, but be aware that service and delivery times can vary. Great selection, but occasionally the execution isn’t consistent.

I ordered 2 lasagnas and they were delivered 2 hours later. I called for 20 minutes and heard a New York song after that. I hung up and called again and after 5 minutes finally someone answered the phone where my lasagna was. She said it would PROBABLY arrive soon. I waited 2 hours and finally I got it. There was a hair in it. I called again and got a new one, so for service a 3.

I got pizza here, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The staff show little consideration for customers and exhibit inappropriate behavior towards one another. They seem to bully each other and cross each other's boundaries. The way they speak to each other is rude, and the place looked messy as well. I also have my doubts about the hygiene.

After waiting for 2 hours, the 2 ice-cold pizzas were delivered. Every time we called, we were told they would be there in 1 minute. (The pizza was delivered 40 minutes later.) A much shorter time was given in the app.

Worst NY Pizza experience ever. We waited 90 min for the pizza to arrive. We called them multiple times to ask for what’s happening, but they weren’t helpful at all. No excuse or anything like that. We will never order there again.

The interior is incredibly dirty. There's nowhere to sit. We stumbled upon it while looking for a place to eat after Roermond Designer. The staff doesn't follow hygiene rules. They don't wear gloves and just grab everything and throw it away. They have a dirty, unhygienic kitchen. Except for the Turkish staff member who was delivering, everyone was very rude.

Every order is spot on. Had a great experience ordering from here. Pizza customisation is very nice and they have a nice selection of sides.

Today was the first time I ordered from New York Pizza. The team was friendly and the pizzas were excellent. I wasn't as impressed with the takeout restaurant. Because the air conditioning was broken, it was sweltering in the restaurant. And it was only 24 degrees Celsius outside. I expect a chain like New York Pizza not to have its staff working in this heat with an air conditioner that's been broken for a while. Fixing the air conditioning should be the number one priority. Besides, the place looks grimy. I consider good employment practices just as important as good pizza. So, three stars is actually quite generous.

We were there last night. The young man did his best to communicate with us in German. After about 15 minutes, our two pizzas (Carpresée and four cheese) were ready. They were both delicious! We'd gladly order again!

I had to order twice. First order stucked in Thuisbezorgd but money was taken from my account. The second order was delivered incomplete, and they (New York pizza Roermond) refused to give back money for the first order lying that they delivered both of them. When I called after the first order stucked, they told me they did not recieved it. Liars and thieves...

So you pay €33 for 2 pizzas, half an hour late, and ice-cold pizza. This was the last time!

We went to the restaurant and ordered three pizzas to go. After waiting 20 minutes, we asked how much longer it would take. After two minutes of questioning looks, we were told that our order had been forgotten and was no longer in the system. How could they forget us when we'd been there the whole time? We'd already paid. So, another 20-minute wait. A totally chaotic place! The pizzas themselves were okay, though.

Pizzas not baked properly, lukewarm, no garlic on the crusts, and the extra tomato sauce turned out to have been omitted as well. Disappointing!

Where to begin? We went there to order two pizzas to go. The young people, clearly overwhelmed and lacking coordination, weren't very friendly. The total didn't match the prices displayed. After paying, we were asked to wait 10 minutes… we waited 40 minutes, which allowed us to observe the preparations. Everything is done with bare hands, meaning without gloves. They touch the till, then the money, then they knead the pizza dough, touch the toppings, handle the money again, answer the phone, and then continue topping the pizzas. The delivery drivers put their bags on the work surface, fill them with the pizzas to be delivered, but before that, they put the pizzas in boxes after cutting them, all without washing their hands. The hygiene is beyond scandalous. As for the salads: they take pre-packaged bags, open them, and pour them into the salad boxes. No rinsing or washing. It's shameful. It's great to see young people working, but there are several basic rules in the hospitality industry that need to be reviewed…

Really good pizza and their fingerfood options as well. Quick and friendly delivery. We order from there a lot, and it's good quality every single time.

Incredibly bad customer service and nasty pizzas! After waiting an hour and a half for the pizzas and calling the branch twice, we received cold and dirty pizzas without any excuse for the delay. In the end I was able to throw half away. After contacting the franchisee and customer service, I was not given my money back. My tip: avoid this place!

Double pepperoni pizza had only cheese on one side and no cheese on the other side. The döner pizza only had a few pieces of döner on it. Nachos were cold, I used a 10 euro discount coupon, it seems like they saved on that.

After indicating no onions, I still received onions, new pizzas were sent without any hassle, kudos!

Personally, I have not ordered anything from NY-pizza anymore due to a previous bad experience where I waited more than two hours for an order and was then treated rudely and there was no response to my complaint. However, my aunt wanted lasagna and I ordered it for her, but unfortunately the cannelloni was delivered.

Super delicious pizzas 🍕 It's stupid that we had to drive 80 km, otherwise we would be there all the time. The reason why the pizzaria doesn't get 5 stars overall is because it is a delivery/pick-up shop. So therefore no ambience offers.

Finally a decent Pizza in our village. I saw that New York Pizza now delivers in Horn. I was a bit skeptical. But really delivered within 30 minutes, nice and warm 🫡 respect. You have a regular customer. Also tipped the delivery person immediately.

Nice that they have an action evening at NYP. But the pizzas would be delivered between 6:45 and 7:00 PM. At 7:30 PM I still didn't see anyone, so I called again. Yes is on its way. With a cold pizza? No, sir, it is in a warm bag. At 7:45 PM a motorcyclist will deliver the pizzas. And indeed the pizzas are not really warm anymore. But yes, I am starving, I worked all day and you have to wait 45 minutes for your food. So we quickly ate the cold pizza. But order here. I do not think so. If you are going to organize a promotional evening, you also have to hire more delivery people...

You really pay a lot for a pizza (even with a promotion), especially compared to Domino's. Customer service is poor and the whole place looks like you're walking into a warehouse. It could well be because of carnival, but I had the feeling that even my basic needs are not met. Pizza was otherwise okay. Was really nothing special.

The service was so subpar that the order wasn't even completed. Apart from a squeezed out “hello”, there was no reaction from the staff. After some time of being ignored, we finally left.

Ordered my pizza around 5.45 pm, the pizza would be delivered around 6.30-6.45 pm arrived, then I didn't have my pizza, I called the branch around 7 p.m., taking into account that it might be busy on the road, it was said that it would arrive shortly, 10 minutes later the track and trace says that it had been delivered but I am still without pizza, then it was said again "it is busy, sorry sir and we are short of man, we are sorry and that track and trace is an automated system we have no influence on that, in 20 minutes your pizza there sorry about that but it's really busy" meanwhile it is 7.15 pm after I hung up, then it came 10 minutes later than what they said at 7.45 pm, I had to wait two hours, had to call the branch twice, then my pizza tasted more like BBQ sauce so I could no longer eat the meat taste decent I even believe that the "online" orders were not even taken into account, which meant I had to wait an extra 20 minutes because the pizza still had to be made. I will not order from here again, poor service

Positive: order and payment placed quickly. Friendly delivery person. Point for improvement: Waited 1.5 hours, called twice. 25 Euro for 2 lukewarm pizzas. Below the level I am used to from NYP. Curious about the experience of the next order :)

catastrophe! The pizza was completely burnt to a rock. The margarita was completely unbiteable, and the teriaky chicken pizza had absolutely no ingredients it should have, just onion, cheese and bbq sauce, and where was the rest? You couldn't even find a piece of chicken in the chicken teryaki pizza! failed and we ordered margaritte from a promotion for which the backpack would be included! instead they brought us 3 plastic pieces of pizza with knife and fork, just a big fail, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.NY pizza Roermond

Today, December 1, 2023, I ordered a Chicken & Bacon Pizza via home delivery and a double Pepperoni Pizza, both with a thick base. With the Pizza Pepperoni, half of the base was paper thin and the other half was a bit thicker, while the Pepperoni was so crispy and partly black, which is very bad for a pizza of €15 euros. That's why this review is very bad 👎

The order was placed at 7:09 PM, called at 8:15 PM to inquire where the order was. The connection was first deliberately disconnected twice, after which I had to wait several minutes before they got tired of my calls and answered them. The order was delivered at 8:30 PM, the excuse was that it was busy and that I was not the only one waiting. Three thin/crispy ones were ordered which resembled the regular Italian crust, but they were certainly not crispy! I even threw the wedges away, they were soggy and soft. Something has gone wrong before, but this has always been resolved neatly by the branch, but this time I was left with a bad feeling, I regret that I gave a tip before ordering.

Ich liebe die New York Pizza Läden. Hengelo, Enschede oder Marl, alle megalecker. Die Filiale in roermond? Mit weitem Abstand die schlechteste. Der Laden hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Wirkt sehr abgeranzt, dreckig und stellenweise kaputt. Wir waren direkt zur Öffnung um 16 Uhr da. Nach uns kam n8ch Personal, das sich vor dem bearbeiten der Pizzas aber garantiert keine Hände gewaschen haben. Motorradhelm ins Regal umd schön Käse auf die Pizza klatschen. Die Pizza selbst? Wir hatten Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Unsere lieblingspizza. Aber diesmal? Das huhn hat man vergeblich gesucht. Denn es war quasi keines drauf. Stattdessen war sie getränkt in scharfer Soße. Und das war alles andere als lecker... Diese Filiale war leider sehr enttäuschend.
