AVOID URGENTLY!!!!!!!! The food is disgusting, a pasta box carbonara reheated in the microwave, poured onto a plate with parmesan to cover up the disaster. Food poisoning 5 minutes later and not even reimbursed. A horror

Cozy, warm place to relax from shopping and have a cup of tea or coffee with some cake or freshly made waffles. Nothing to complain, nice service, clean environment, friendly staff.

Service ok. €20 for a small pizza, €17 for a children's portion of pasta. Nothing special, you won't get full, the value for money isn't right at all. At least it was nice to sit outside.

I’ve been to many outlets across Europe, and this was by far the worst restaurant experience I’ve had. The service was so poor it made me want to give zero stars. I asked if they could provide hot water for someone who can’t drink cold beverages. The waiter asked if I wanted tea. I said just hot water was fine. In the end, they charged me €3.95 — the full price of a tea — for a simple cup of hot water with a cheap biscuit on the side. It honestly feels like a scam. At the very least, this should have been explained in advance. When I ordered pasta, the waiter asked if I wanted cheese. Again, only when I saw the bill did I find out that it cost an extra €2.50. There was no mention of this unless you specifically asked or checked the receipt. Legato, if your staff don’t want to explain options to foreign customers, then please write the prices clearly on the menu. This kind of hidden charge behavior is unacceptable.

I had a tuna pizza. When eating it, you directly feel the poor quality of the ingredients. It's really not good and it's really too expensive for what it is. The worst part is you cutting the pizza. Where are we there? A word of advice. Ditch the pizza and come up with something else.

The lady working left the coffees crashing on the table because we had changed our table, and that's all we had to say. If I could I would give 0 points.

Staff curt and uninterested. The food was also prepared without any love for food. Pasta 1 was tasteless and Pasta 2 was overly spicy. You don't put that many peppers in a plate of pasta for 1 person. Reading previous reviews, the owner doesn't seem to care what the guest is served. If only I had read them beforehand.

It's a different business... We were going to have dinner for 5 people, but they said they wouldn't serve me while my child had potatoes in his hand. It's a funny and ridiculous behavior. They worry about a potato in the child's hand and do not allow it.

What a bad hostess (little Indonesian). No idea that we are guests. Rude (no greeting!). “The heat lamps are broken” (lie!!). Excellent hot chocolate, but unfortunately with a SOUR aftertaste! Some people are better off looking for another job: this is free advice

The restaurant impresses with the high quality of the food - everything tasted excellent and was attractively prepared. However, there are some points that disappointed me. The portion sizes are extremely small and in my opinion the price-performance ratio is not right. I wasn't really full at the end. Another surprising point of criticism: There is no children's chair! I found that extremely inappropriate for a restaurant of this class and price category. Especially if you are traveling with a family, you expect at least basic equipment for children. The ambience is appealing and the service was friendly, but the overall package is not entirely convincing. If you are looking for an upscale restaurant, you should consider whether the price here is really justified.

Good service, repaired after a small mistake!

I went with my mom to this cafe yesterday. Everything seemed to be fine and the food was normal. But two hours later I felt pain in my stomach. My stomach has been hurting for 2 days now, most likely poisoning. I only had breakfast in this establishment, the next meal was only in the evening. I suspect that the problem was in the Sandwich, since my mother took the apple strudel and everything was fine with it. I don't recommend it

Absolutely premium food, pizza tastes too good for this world, a bit more expensive but absolutely justified. Starter was super tasty, especially the Pane e Pesto, just *chef kiss* Interior decorated super cute, real feel-good atmosphere, service also super nice. Overall 10/10, I can only recommend it to everyone

Worst pasta ever eaten at Legato, pastas with sauces seem to come from a can. Really not tasty. Way too expensive for what it is, no piece of bread with your pasta and you have to pay 2.5 euros extra for cheese. Not worthy of the name Italian. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Very careless and no desire to work. Bags of cutlery were pushed onto the table, we had to take it and distribute it ourselves. Never seen it in a restaurant. Paid way too much for the bad food and bad service. Once but never again. Roermond village is great for shopping, but go eat somewhere else.

Good food and service, but the prices are ambitious.

Yesterday I was in Roermond with my sister-in-law and actually wanted to eat there. But when we saw the prices on the menu, we walked out again. Way too expensive.

The pizza Margherita I had did not have much taste. The same with my wife’s salad. The latte macchiato they serve comes from an automatic machine, but costs the price of a manual made one. Everything way overpriced for the quality. On the positive side, you get your orders very quickly.

They were not freshly made pizzas, it seemed that they had been heated in the pan with a lot of fat because the bases were very greasy. We didn't even eat half of it. When we paid we were shocked, we had to pay €58 for 2 pizzas, a spa red, a coke and 2 coffees.

The most expensive takeaway coffee I've had in Europe. This place sells a cup of coffee made from a button-operated coffee machine for €6.10. Very reasonable price! It might even have gold dust hidden in it.

It is an unnecessary and ugly business where you bring non-carbonated beer and when you return it, only one of them is deducted from the system and then says that one of the beers you returned is normal, all the tables outside are dirty, all the ashtrays are dirty and full.

Cappuccino, a piece of cake, cozy to linger.

Complete catastrophe. Three ladies are standing behind the counter of the ice cream parlor and need about 3-4 minutes for each scoop of cones to make an ice cream!!!! One of the ladies fills the ice cream with her hands, i.e. her fingers! No gloves, no spoons or anything like that. You don't want to know more about hygiene. Slow, unhygienic and expensive. Clear non-recommendation

The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here. We ordered “Pane” (freshly baked bread with olive oil) for €6 and we received two small pieces of flatbread that had a little bit of olive oil on one edge. That's it. We also ordered a Margherita pizza for €15.50. We received a pizza drenched in oil, hand-made, nothing to see or taste, and definitely not worth €15.00 in terms of taste. It's best to simply save yourself the visit.

The food was moderately tasty. The drink menu is limited. I even gave them more points. The main problem is the service and service. Our baby was outside in the sun and we wanted to open the umbrella. The waiter told us that the umbrella next to us was broken. He said that the other umbrellas were also broken but he didn't even believe it himself. If you need, be aware that all the umbrellas outside the restaurant are broken. We also asked for a baby chair and we were told that you can go and get it yourself. I understand this to some extent, but the umbrella issue bothered us.

A good and repeatable experience

Costly price for ice cream mostly made of air.

The taste of the gamba pasta was decent but the portion was extremely small. Also huge portion difference compared to an other table. The pizza salami was nothing special, for these high prices I expect higher quality.(€62,90 for 1 very small pasta, 1 pizza and 3 drinks..)

Goat cheese salad was a sad pile of lettuce (more veins than leaves), a few half overripe cherry tomatoes with black spots, two chunks of chutney and a few mini chunks of goat cheese... We would have been better off going to McDonald's, then at least we would have had something tasty for a lot. less money.

KATASTROPHE!!!! ONE Glass of Mineral water 4.50euro and the Glass Full of ice! You Must be kidding or what? My daughter wanted some water to drink, they have told me that the mineral water inside the restaurant is only in glass the small one !!! Bravo you make good money like that keep going!!!!

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is not right at all. The pasta dishes start at €16, they are simply not worth it. One of the dishes we ordered (pasta with grilled vegetables) arrived as pasta with chicken. We told the waitress that mistakes happen to everyone. She took the plate to the kitchen, where the chicken was partially removed and grilled vegetables were added. Then the plate came back to the table in exactly the same way. All further attempts to ask questions were simply ignored by the staff. Absolutely not okay if you charge €21 for the dish. The restaurant is not suitable for vegetarians or allergy sufferers!

Had a nice ice cream. The blueberry yogurt ice cream is highly recommended. Had to wait a while but service was fast. You pay 3.5 euros for 1 bulb, which is quite pricey.

Ordered 1 coffee and 1 cappuccino with a piece of pie each...it was delicious pie. However, at checkout the amount was €19.60. 🤔 This later dawned on us. Unfortunately no receipt 😂

Friendly staff and the best ice cream in town. I think they have to endure a lot with those crazy (and rude) tourists who are driven there every day by bus.

Ambience is OK, drinks were OK. Food was terrible for the price. Ordered a pizza with ham for €21 and got one with an extra egg (I had to pay +€2 myself, even though the kitchen made a mistake). The menu says the pizza is hand made, the base with a hint of tomato sauce is definitely frozen and then €23 is just a joke. Never again !!!!

Ordered coffee and cake. Unfortunately, the pastries in the pastry display appear to be old and certainly not fresh. whipped cream is dried out and looks like butter. We didn't eat the cake completely, but unfortunately we didn't enjoy it anyway.

My visit to your cafe on the afternoon 2plus 25/04/24 left much to be desired. Despite arriving as two couples, we were rudely denied the simple request to split the bill by the waitress. Instead of accommodating our reasonable request, she callously insisted on a single payment, leaving us to sort out the details amongst ourselves. After what seemed like an eternity of negotiation, a senior staff member finally intervened, only to add insult to injury by deliberately charging me an extra 2.50 euros for a cheese topping I explicitly mentioned I was allergic to and had requested to be removed from our orders beforehand. This disregard for my dietary needs, coupled with the lack of communication and basic customer service, transformed what should have been an enjoyable dining experience into a frustrating ordeal.

Nice place to linger, has everything a café needs plus more👍 Unfortunately I wouldn't have been able to serve a latte macchiato in our restaurant, but it was okay for me. Just think of some special customers🤪

Delicious ice cream for strolling through the outlet. Great selection of varieties. I particularly liked the different waffles you can choose from.

Never again! Service unfriendly and food very poor, certainly not worth the price. The radio was way too loud and the food was hard and dirty. Ended up having to pay more than what was on the card. 1 star is already too much.

STAY AWAY!!!! The most disgusting Waffle you can imagine. She insisted that it’s fresh but it wasn’t. I was ashamed to offer it to my parents. She declined giving us a refund. We immediately throw it away.

We stopped by on March 17, 2024 at 5:00 PM. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a very neat interior. We opted for desserts which were okay but not exceptional. However, the service was disastrous. We felt attacked by the waitress with brown hair who pressured us. We already felt uncomfortable ordering. When she served us it was even worse. She almost threw the plates in front of us, without any politeness, with a straight face, without a smile. I don't recommend it.

Was having coffee with my mother and daughter. (€4.50 for a cappuccino). The manager (I'm guessing) came in and pulled the table lamp/fake candle that my 2-year-old daughter was playing with right out of her hand. “That's not a toy” was his statement. I was perplexed. Never experienced anything like this before. Absurd. It's a child.

The waffle looked and tasted like reheated. I barely could finish it and my wife couldn't finish even the half. Not worth the 4€.
