Went for a quick bite to eat last night. It certainly wasn't busy because it was already evening. The people at the table behind us had to ask to order. They ordered a Coke Zero and after some time a Pepsi Max was brought. The lady said she ordered a "Zero" and she doesn't like Pepsi. She was only answered that this is stated on the card. This is not stated on the menu with dishes or with Patisserie. The staff was anything but friendly and gave a bored impression. We waited for some time to be able to order but then left. If someone does not do his or her job wholeheartedly, you do not show this to customers, or you look for another job.

Outrageous! I paid €14.50 for the Pinsa and it was clearly only a cut-off half that I received. Additionally, there is no toilet for customers, we were directed to the public toilet outside the restaurant

Nice place, incredibly without toilets, if you ask they send you to the public ones on the other side of the square. There are no prices at the entrance or in sight. The food is expensive and scarce, very expensive drinks on tap, even the sparkling water, to which they add ice cubes. We certainly won't be back.

« French Bistro » ? It’s a joke. In France, a restaurant like this one would never have openned. That’s a disgrace to called it a French bistro !

Fortunately, the public toilets are right opposite, where you can escape the surprise of the very expensive bill. What's most difficult to digest is not so much the tiny frozen pizza as the price at which it is charged.

€80 for 3 micro-pizzas and 1 frozen croque-madame? What a shame! This restaurant dares to give itself the image of a French bistro even though there is nothing French in their dish. You have to wait several tens of minutes to order and when your dishes arrive you are surprised to discover that the pizza is no bigger than a slice of pie. Frankly, to avoid.

Had Beter Naar McDonald's Gekund! Bij Margot in the outlet Roermond is the personeel vriendelijk en de sfeer gezellig, the other one is a great teleurstelling. For two burgers, two small drinks and a couple of slices of fries cost 60 euros each, and the quality was quick. For this reason, I had better go to McDonald's and save money. Might have been better off going to McDonald's At Margot in Outlet Roermond, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy, but the food is a big disappointment. For two burgers, two small drinks and a few soggy fries you pay 60 euros, and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. For that price, McDonald's would have been a better choice.

Disappointing experience at the bistro The atmosphere in Bistro Café Margot was at least somewhat inviting, but unfortunately that was the only positive thing about our visit. The service wasn't particularly friendly and we felt ignored rather than welcome. The highlight, however, was the food. The price-performance ratio is not right at all. The hamburgers were burnt, the meat was still raw on the inside - I've never eaten anything like that in my life! Aside from the burnt meat and a strange sauce, there was hardly anything in the burger other than a small leaf of green stuff that I couldn't identify. It was just meat and bread. The pizza we ordered was also a disappointment. It had a maximum diameter of 13 cm - even a children's pizza is bigger! The prices are simply unbelievable and bear no relation to the quality offered. Another big drawback was that there is no toilet in the bistro. This is simply unacceptable for a café and makes the stay very unpleasant. Overall, I cannot recommend the Bistro Café Margot. There are definitely better alternatives in Roermond. What a shame about the time and money!

17€ a hamburger with uncooked meat, we ask to recook the meat because it doesn't suit us and the waiter justifies that "everyone eats like that" not happy he brings the plate back and the cook doesn't stop telling us fix.. and in addition fried frozen overcooked.. 14€ a croque monsieur I'm expecting a nice plate, again disappointed 2 slices of bread and 2 pieces of sad salad.. Poor service, we had the cutlery slammed on the table like that, no answers when we even called for the bill.. Much too expensive for what it was, I absolutely do not recommend this establishment

Waiter was rude, i think he has an issue with tourists who are not his skin color or speak his language , food looked good on menu but taste was horrbile in a toursistic place in europe this is shunned upon , ordered the goat cheese salad and veg pasta no drinks total was 35 euros all drinks dont come in bottles or cans only good thing is location in the outlet. I only recommend coffee here

A catastrophic experience from start to finish. The prices are exorbitant for the quality of food that is simply terrible. The dishes were tasteless, poorly presented, and clearly not fresh. But what made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. The waitress was incredibly cold and arrogant, not to mention the manager, who was downright dismissive when we expressed our disappointment. If you are looking to pay too much to be unwelcome and eat terrible food, this restaurant is for you. Absolutely avoid!

This restaurant proves that appearance says nothing about what's inside. There was a hair in the carbonara of someone sitting at my table, when she pointed this out the response was “I should have said that before”. Very unfriendly and not understanding, too bad.

Just went for coffee, I didn't get water with my coffee and I had to ask for it. Not much ceremony bringing the water as there was with initial delivery of coffee for 3 people which was disappointing.

Unfortunately the food was far too small and very expensive. For a pizza that was smaller than 2 pieces of toast, you paid €14. The ambience is very nice, but the food is a disappointment.

Service was very friendly and there is little to complain about. About the food, on the other hand, in terms of price and quality, I can only say that it is seriously overpriced in my opinion for what you get. The waiter that was a blonde guy “Julien” I think is his name (after I asked a colleague of his) is very rude and unprofessional other than being rude from the start and not listening properly to what we ordered he tried lecturing us on ordering our food and was highly racist and looked like he didn’t want to serve us the food, we wanted to leave the whole restaurant and let him pay for the order because no one accepts such a treatment if it wasn’t for our kindness with dealing with people before opening a restaurant please teach your waiters how to deal with customers and stay polite with all people very rude such a bad experience at this restaurant.

It looks pretty nice, but that's about it. It doesn't taste good at all, not even the Aperol Spritz is edible, I had to leave it alone, it's a classic, but you couldn't drink this mixture and for 11.50 euros. It was also served with lemon, just embarrassing.

Pasta tasted like nothing at all and was completely overpriced, it was also not possible to get ham instead of bacon in the pasta even though dishes with ham are offered, never again Chez Margot.

This is simply a racist place. We just wanted to drink two coffees and relax. We sat there for 15 minutes so we could order. It wasn't full at all. A lady with blonde hair looked at us twice and walked past with a nasty look. As if we had done something wrong instead of asking us what we wanted. The funny thing is that all the waitresses were standing in front of the door and no one came to us. I don't know if it was because of the color of my hair or my moustache. Definitely not recommended.

The atmosphere is cozy and the service friendly and communicative. However, the food is absolutely not freshly prepared. It is lukewarm/cold and appears on the table within 5 minutes. This is clearly prepared and probably largely comes from the wholesaler. Because, which chef gets his poached eggs perfectly flat from the bottom ???? Woman with blond hair bit big was not friendly

Went to the outlet with a friend and wanted to have a nice lunch. Good food… at this restaurant it is anything but tasty! We both ordered the tartufo burger with the so-called “black angus burger”, which was not black Angus at all. The burger was very sparsely topped with a few flakes of Parmesan cheese and truffle sauce, and that for €19! Not to eat! There are no fries or other tasty garnishes. The waitress explained that it came with fries and sauce, for which we had to pay €8 per person! All in all, NEVER come here again.

I asked for a very cooked burger and I received an even rawer burger than my husband's with lousy fries. But the bill is rather steep for mediocrity and the waitress isn't even smiling. I never went back there again.

The food is horrible, the wine is very bad, the service is done with a smile, the prices are outrageous.

It was nice, the people were friendly. It's just "mass tourism", that's what it's aimed at, so it does what it's supposed to do. The food was on the table quickly and quite okay (pasta carbonara style). If you're hungry from all the shopping, you're in good hands here. Price ok.

The only good thing about this Café, is that it’s located in the Outlet. The food is really bad. You don’t get what you order. The employees are nice though. But I suggest to visit another Bistro, if you would like to eat something that fits to its price.

Ok, opposite is Armani and Gucci. The prices match, O.5 beer 8.60. More expensive than on the rip-off strip in Rhodes. A slice of pizza costs 14 euros and a plate of pasta costs 16 euros. The price is a bit expensive. The food is average~ Adding cheese to the pasta costs an extra 2.5 euros. I can only say that the CP value is low.

We dined at this outstanding restaurant with top-quality food and an exceptional atmosphere. Our order included two delectable pastas: carbonara and bolognese. Although it’s not an inexpensive restaurant, you’ll leave satisfied—the staff are very friendly.😊

Food and drink were brought quickly by the service. Service tried hard but something kept falling on the floor, cutlery, plates, glasses. Portions way too small for the price. Pizza pepperoni is the size of half a pizza for 14.5 euros. Salmon salad is just a green salad with some salmon on top for 21.3 euros.

What a drama staff. Sit for 15 minutes. Not a problem if you expect and see that staff are busy. There are 4 staff hanging behind the bar. Girl would rather die than live because of grumpiness (the one with green nail polish). Man who takes orders who doesn't need help at all and thinks too highly of himself. One table after another walks away and when you ask if you can order you get the answer: someone like that is coming. Maria, she's not coming. Prices are expensive. 5 euros cappuccino and 15 euros a sandwich. Don't worry if the service is top notch! Haas Drama tent while it has a beautiful appearance. Disappointed!! The food we had was so bad, tasteless. Carbonara with a creamy sauce that tasted like a carbonara sauce from AH/Jumbo, then with bacon bits(spekjes) also from the grocery store. I don’t think the meal was prepared by a Chef. For €20, they should be ashamed. My boyfriend had an “Angus” beef hamburger with a tasteless patty, so thin and small for the price tag €18.50 (no side dish), so we ordered “French(thin) fries for €5.50 and yes, it did not fail to disappoint again because it is “from the grocery” again! This restaurant needs a new Chef!

Bacon burger just over 19 euros. Well, you think, there are fries as a side dish... Well, you shouldn't think but expect a rip-off. Bacon burger (a mini burger comparable to a Royal TS) plus fries (small portion) plus a packet of mayo and a 0.33 Coke for 30 euros. Have you thrown anything in? Oh and then I also forgot the cutlery.

We have lunch here on a weekday. We ordered an Eggs Benedict and a Croque Monsieur. The eggs benedict were partly lukewarm and mostly cold. The eggs were not allowed to be called poached. They were clearly prepared in advance and were left waiting in a kind of Bain Marie in which they continued to cook. This means that the eggs were barely liquid on the inside. The sauce hollandaise was also prepared and mainly lukewarm and cooled very quickly and became thick. The bread used became a kind of wet sponge. Just nasty. The Croque monsieur was. considering the fact that the whole thing was on the table within fifteen minutes, prepared and warmed up under the grill. The Chardonnay alone was worth it. And we paid almost 56 euros for that! The atmosphere is definitely not that of a French bistro. More like an ordinary Dutch cafeteria. I told the waitress that I expected more from the lunch, but I suspect that she did not hear or understand that because it was not Dutch. In short: I will never go here again.

The food delivered was of good quality. Very tasty burger for my wife, my carbonara was okay. Food is quite expensive, €20.00 for pasta carbonara is at the top end, burger €18.00, but made from Black Angus and really tasty. However, it is also at the upper end. We sat in the new extension, which was very nice, but the best thing was the service management, extremely empathetic and super friendly. No excuses, just sensible explanations, which I can handle well as a guest.

Tourist trap - Expensive and low quality food

Ate here yesterday. We wonder where the name 'French bistro' comes from. Apart from the fact that they call their sandwiches 'brioche' and their toasted sandwiches 'croque', there is nothing French about it. The menu mainly includes pasta, pinsas (a foccacia-like thing), salads and burgers. I had a hamburger for €19.50, but I didn't expect anything extra! No garnish, nothing! You pay €5.50 extra for the fries and another €1 extra if you want a small tub of mayonnaise or ketchup. There were no tomatoes or nice crispy lettuce on the hamburger. My husband ordered the pinsa for €14.50. It was really very small and not suitable as a 'dinner'. If you want some cheese on your pasta, you also have to pay €2.50 extra for that. I would just skip this place and eat somewhere else! There are a number of (good) reviews that I think really refer to the previous restaurant that was here.

A hamburger for €17.50… the Mac still has lettuce on it… and is much cheaper. And tastier! That money doesn't even include fries! And then the drinks: €4.40 for a coke! 😳
