New York Pizza in Het Zand

I’m a huge pizza lover and order delivery from various restaurants quite often, but this branch is the absolute worst I’ve ever seen in my 23 years. One time, the delivery driver came up the stairs with his delivery bag turned 90 degrees, causing the pizzas to slide out of their boxes and fall inside the bag. What was the driver's brilliant solution? He grabbed the pizzas with his bare hands and put them back in the box right in front of me like it was no big deal. He refused to offer a real solution, so—luckily—I got one when I called the store, though I had to wait for a replacement order. Today, I placed an order at 4:00 PM. After waiting an hour, I called to check on it, only to be told that the driver had supposedly knocked on my door but I wasn't home, so the order was back at the restaurant. I told them repeatedly that this was impossible, as there were several of us at home and no one heard a thing (the doorbell has always worked perfectly). They put me through to the manager, who started calling me a liar to my face, questioning my word and giving me a hard time. His solution? Either I go pick it up and they make a fresh one, or they send the pizzas again—but cold. I’m losing my mind; this is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I want to emphasize that I’m *still* waiting for my pizzas—I ordered at 3:50 PM and it is now 3:50 PM [sic] as I write this review. Thanks, New York Pizza, for continuing to send those ridiculous free cookies with orders and messages on the boxes asking for good reviews—you guys are trash. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF MY LIFE.

The pizza was tasty, the service was great, and I got free Pop Dots for a review 😂 It’s the dough… but those Pop Dots really help too, you know 🍕🍩

We just walked out of the store with two wrong pizzas due to the girl ( with the huge fake lashes) that took the order and made the pizzas. She then refused to change them saying it was our fault. So we left with a pineapple pizza instead of what we ordered and we do not even eat that. She messed up the orders and then accused us about it. Worst customer experience we have ever gotten. The girl was taking orders at the cashier and then would go and make the pizza without any gloves. We even saw her picking her nose at some point. She was very rude to other customers as well and once we said our order was wrong she started yelling at us , told us that she would not make any other pizzas and kicked us out of the store making provocative moves with her hands. Plus she told us next time to order Domino’s. I am so disappointed and I can’t really rate the food because did not eat much since we do not like pineapple.

The pizza itself was fine. The staff was quite irritated and abrupt.

Had a very bad experience!! Ordered a pizza, it arrived after 1.5 hours, and it was cold too. The other time I picked it up at the store, but as I see in other people's reviews, my suspicions are correct: unmotivated and unfriendly staff.

What a terrible company, unmotivated staff, and the rest of the staff walking around there isn't much good either. On May 1st we wanted to eat pizza, but due to a power outage the whole pizza was cancelled. After 45 minutes someone finally came to check on us, very grumpy staff. And the customers weren't even informed what was going on. Noooo, never again New York Pizza, I'll go to Domino's from now on.

Hello, my name is Nick Fr. I ordered a pizza 2.5 hours ago, and it was stuck on “delivering” for 45 minutes, even though they live just a 3-minute bike ride away from me. Then I saw written on my box: “leave a good review.” Well, seriously, I’m shaking in my seat with rage; goddamn, what kind of people are these? I would NEVER, EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE. I really have tears in my eyes, ugh.

Unmotivated, unfriendly, not customer-oriented. The oven broke down due to a power outage and everyone could kiss their food goodbye. Even worse, there was no empathy or apology from the staff. When I cancelled, they didn't know how quickly to do so, and even then, no gesture of "sorry for this inconvenience." In short, NYP, there is work to be done at the branch on Wandelboslaan in Tilburg. A. Roumimper

The food is great for the price, so I would say is the best deal you can get. They have all the kinds you can possibly think of so the food is on anybody’s taste. And the delivery is very fast.

I have ordered food from this place for some moths now and the food is very good and the delivery reasonably fast. Plus, they always let me nice messages on the packages and that makes my day better 🥹🥰

Had a great Loaded pepperoni pizza delivered, perfectly cooked and warm and a very nice Cookie as a bonus. All great so I don't understand the really negative reviews.

They serve good food, but with all due respect, you shouldn't offer specials if your business can't handle it. They offered a second pizza for free, and it all went wrong. I waited two hours for my order, and they hadn't even started. This is what happens when you let 16-year-olds run a business. Forget it.

I live 500 m further on, I don't know if they eat those pizzas there themselves, but I haven't heard anything for 3 hours and when I call it looks like a shop has been robbed.

We ordered two pizzas tonight and as a surprise, we received a free dessert with the message "A Little Love." What a lovely and sweet surprise! The pizzas were hot, well-topped, and delicious. The pistachio dessert with hearts was the perfect finishing touch. Thanks for the great service. We'll definitely order from here again!

I have been ordering food from the place, I did read previous review before ordering but went along. I didnt notice any of the problems people mentioned instead it was quite the opposite They are friendly and ofc food gets cold if u order delivery but for all the orders I had they were warm. I greatly enjoy the food specially during exam weeks, really fuels you up!

I ordered a 25cm pizza and when I measured it it was only 24cm

it's a crispy chicken kimchi pizza but there wasn't a single piece of chicken on it, same with the bufala margarita pizza it's a regular margarita without bufala cheese

After more than two hours, the order still hasn't arrived. I've never experienced such poor service. I advise everyone not to order from here.

I always order from this location because the pizza is just a little bit better. The delivery drivers are always friendly, and if something goes wrong with the order, they resolve it promptly.

I ordered a Garlic Chicken & Spinach Pizza and Bacon Calzone mini bites. Not only both dishes were cold, but there was no garlic oil on the garlic pizza, even though the description said that garlic oil should be on the rim of the pizza 🤷🏼‍♀️

New York Pizza Tilburg Wandelboslaan has proven to me AGAIN that they have absolutely no shame. The food was cold, limp, and seriously… they have the nerve to hand it to the door without a second thought. And then they even commented on the order. But the staff… that's what I call an experience. Even on the phone, they acted as if I was ruining their day by even ordering. And the delivery driver? He showed up with an attitude that would make even teenagers say, "Just act normal." If this is their idea of ​​customer service, the place might as well be closed. I'd rather order a brick of cheese from Domino's; at least it arrives warm and without any misplaced attitude.

When I called to complain about my order, which included a pizza and chicken pops, I discovered there were only nine chicken pops in the package instead of the usual 12. I expected a better response, but instead of understanding, I was rudely asked to return to the store to pick up the missing items. On top of that, I had to wait on the phone for seven minutes. Placed order on uber eats, after 3 hours it said it was delivered which it wasn’t. Went to store and the employee was extremely rude and said they threw it out

I don't like posting bad reviews, but I ordered food and they only arrived an hour later, and the food was cold and inedible, and I called them and she was rude.

I received a polite call informing me that the order was delayed and that something extra was being added. I found this very thoughtful and considerate.

I really don't like leaving bad reviews, I never do, but literally every second something goes wrong here. The pizza is delivered and I only get it half an hour later, or the pizza tastes tough and awful, or you get an attitude on the phone when you call (in the case of the first point). The last time I ordered from them before today, I clearly indicated no-contact delivery when I didn't want to see anyone that evening. The delivery person ignored that and even had the nerve to flirt with me 🙄

I almost got hit by one of their delivery drivers who was speeding through a pedestrian path at a corner. Very dangerous and unacceptable behavior.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza and received a pre-cremated frisbee. They did try to make it right, but unfortunately, they delivered the same pre-cremated frisbee. This has little to do with pizza. Definitely not recommended if you're looking for a good pizza.

Honestly, this review should have been 0 stars. I ordered two desserts on Saturday, September 13th, around 7:45 PM. I called an hour later, and they said, "Your order will be delivered in 15 minutes." Then I called back 30 minutes later, and the same answer. Ultimately, I never received the entire order. Be honest, if you don't want to accept orders, just tell your customer that honestly. I will never order from them again, and the employee who worked that day should be assigned something else.

NewYorkPizza used to be a pretty decent place. Back then, there were people who wanted to do their jobs. And there was structure. There was a certain level of quality you had to deliver to keep up the reputation. Now it's literally the lowest rung of society. The lowest rung of hygiene, and you can fill in the rest yourself. I've updated my review at least 10 times because it's not being posted. I'd love to write a hard, honest response, but Google won't let me. Those guys working there now even let their buddies hang out in the kitchen. They stand outside the door smoking weed and then walk back in. They don't wash their hands and touch everything. They pretend this is a studio they've rented with a group of buddies to hang out in, but they forget that this is a store where people buy food. This is truly the lowest point of NewYorkPizza. It's impossible to get any lower. Want to get sick??? Then come eat at NewYorkPizza Wandelboslaan! Guaranteed! Andy

45 minutes late. This was honestly the worst New York pizza I've ever eaten. The pizza was orange, cold, unsliced, and had no crust. I'll never order from here again.

The pizzas are good and not badly priced for the Netherlands. Nothing special about it, but if you live in Tilburg and are tired of Domino's, this is your pizzeria.

Very cool place to eat my first newyork pizza here in Tilburg very nice people I felt at ease. Food was ready quickly really enjoyed the pizzas and drinks definitely recommended

Placed an order for 6 pizzas and 3 garlic breads - The garlic oil on the edges of all pizzas was missing. - There was no pesto on 1 pizza as ordered. - We ordered 4 garlic sauces but got 1 and 3 mayonnaise. - It was over 30 degrees inside. Which is not really a safe working environment for the employees. This branch is significantly worse than others. Too bad.

We ordered a pizza that had cost us 16 euros and what we got delivered is a stone hard piece of charcoal that we both were hungry but managed to finish just a couple of pieces each . Definitely not ordering again, at least could had left a note with "sorry" or something :)

In the handful of times I've ordered: once the pizza arrived more than an hour late, once we only received half the order, once we received the wrong order, and the last time we didn't receive an order at all. They then refuse to refund the money. I will never order from here again.

I ordered yesterday the order was not delivered no words

Pizzas delivered 2 hours early, then received the same pizzas 2 hours later which made them cold, hard and dirty! I was supposed to be called back within half an hour and then I called 1.5 hours later

Despite the enormous crowds on Christmas Day with 200 telephone + online orders per hour!!! I was helped friendly and quickly with 2 vurrukkulukkuh pizzas!

The pizza was very good, I was satisfied, it was not expensive, it was tasty and I received it quickly.

Warm bezorgd door een goed verzorgde vriendelijke man. Je moet de korst doorscheuren met je handen of snijden met een mes. Waarschijnlijk snijden ze niet de korst om te voorkomen dat er stukken verschuiven of op elkaar komen. De hete kip pizza was lekker, maar eerder zoet door de sweet chili saus swirl. De naam zou eerder zoete kip pizza moeten zijn. Of er is iets mis gegaan bij het bereiden. Of ik ben spontaan een Indonees geworden. De aardappelpartjes waren lekker vol van aardappelsmaak.

Helaas komt het vaak voor dat de pizza niet is zoals hij moet zijn. Daar ik altijd de zelfde bestel zijn er grote verschillen te bemerken.
