Nice and friendly staff; if there are problems, they always try to solve them.

Don't order pizza from New York Pizza, it is the worst kind, don't waste your money on it because in the end you have to throw the food away anyway.

I arrived and the manager immediately started squawking at me that they weren't taking any more orders, so being the smart guy that I am, I just ordered it online. When I came to pick it up, she got angry because I said, "So I could have ordered it for a little while longer anyway," and when I walked out I said, "Thom wanted pizza, Thom gets pizza," and she screamed at me, "Yeah, you're never allowed to come back here again."

The pizzas were very bad! There was no pepperoni on some slices of the Brooklyn pizza, and there were 2 short black hairs🤮 on the buffalo pizza, 2/3 of the crust was gone. Just a few pieces of chicken and a bath of sauce, instead of a swirl. We will never order from here again.

Super friendly staff and super tasty pizzas

I ordered at 18:13 and wanted it delivered between 19:15 and 19:30, so I made that request. In the end, I called the shop at 20:10 and indicated that I hadn't received my order yet (I waited a bit longer since I used to be a delivery driver myself, so I can live with it being a bit later due to busyness). I got the manager on the line and he said that the delivery driver had been there, rung the doorbell, and tried to reach me by phone. I didn't hear a bell and was sitting in the living room, so I should have just heard it, and no one called me either, so the delivery driver just lied, but okay. After that, they delivered pizzas at 20:44, and they are cold. I always order here and it has never gone wrong, but I don't think this is acceptable considering it is normal at their shop, which I have noticed quite often.

I ordered pizza and drumsticks through the app, and everything was very delicious. The food arrived hot, and the pizza had rich layers of flavor. The drumsticks were especially good. The skin was slightly crispy, and the sauce made them very juicy, although they became a little less visually appealing during delivery because of the movement in transit. I didn’t experience any of the negative issues mentioned in other reviews. All those concerns simply didn’t exist for me. I will definitely order again.

So you're a manager, and instead of engaging in a conversation, you just hang up the phone? Just ordered 3 pizzas, which were delivered quickly. My pizza was at the very bottom, without a center piece. My cheese pizza is more on the lid than on the pizza itself. Anyway, it was edible in itself. My partner ordered a pepperoni pizza with spring onions as an extra topping. Extra, so for an additional charge. The spring onions were not included. We called, during which an employee yelled down the phone that she couldn't hear us, causing us to report our complaint by screaming into the phone. She casually said that they don't sell spring onions and then put extra onions on the pizza. Which we didn't have either. If you don't sell it, don't put it on the site! We gave our address and order number, but she couldn't find the order. We were put on hold and got to speak to a manager. He indicated that he could put the euro into our account; we stated that after the umpteenth incomplete order, we no longer wish to order from them and would like to see a different solution. Crediting the euro wasn't possible either. When he asked, "Well, what do you want then?", I said that he could give the euro to a delivery driver and bring it to us; you guessed it... that wasn't possible either. When I remarked that it is certainly possible, but that he just doesn't feel like it, he simply hung up the phone halfway through. I hope he doesn't do that during every discussion, otherwise New York Pizza needs to send this employee on a training course 🫶🏼 Truly top-notch, professionalism and maturity.

This specifically concerns the Arnhem location: We like the pizzas themselves. The staff varies, but is usually nice. Sometimes they seem particularly friendly among themselves. Lately, we always pick it up ourselves to avoid the hassle of late delivery drivers or cooled-down pizzas. What is important in this regard: if you order a pizza to pick up between, for example, 18:00 and 18:15, the pizza will be ready before 18:00. As long as you take that into account when ordering, it isn't such a big deal. So, by now, we know the 'instruction manual' for this branch a bit. The main reason I am writing this review, because I personally find this extremely important: hygiene. We were there recently and one employee was wearing a charm bracelet. While pressing down the pizza dough, that bracelet kept tapping on or against the dough. From a hygienic point of view, that is absolutely unacceptable. I restrained myself and didn't say anything because I put it into perspective with the fact that all bacteria die at +60°C, but yuck! If it is so obvious that the hygiene rules are not being observed, you have to wonder how the other hygiene rules are being handled.

The place is going downhill over the years; young management and no idea how to retain customers. I still order from you every now and then, but the last 3 times things went wrong again. A sweetbox without a chocolate chip cookie and burnt cinnamon bread, so there’s not much left of that. Burnt cinnamon bread without icing. Forgetting drinks or iceberg lettuce. And then I call and say, "Hey, this is the 3rd time in a row now; you really don't have to drive back for one small item, but do something." It's a shame to have such poor customer service..

WARNING! SCAMMERS! On February 27th I placed an order, a few minutes later I called the restaurant saying they had no more beer, so we agreed that I would get my money back, but so far I have not received any money! After 12 days I still haven't received my money back! I have sent many messages to Head Office and Service but they won't respond, SCAMMERS!!!

On February 13th, I placed an order for pizza and mini pancakes. A few minutes later, I received a call back saying they were out of mini pancakes and therefore canceled the order. I've already called three times because I haven't received a refund. How many more times do I have to call? This has been going on for a month. This is ridiculous!

Ordered from this store. Food was was delivered quite quickly so, thumbs up for that but the pizza was really not that nice. Also what happened to the garlic oil on the crust? Used to be my favorite part about New York Pizza!

tasted great, but both pizzas were cut extremely sloppy today uneven parts (the spicy chicken pizza had an 1/4 slice while also having one 1/16 slice?) + it didn't even cut all the way through, you have to manual slice them yourself

Disappointing. After 2.5 hours, a cold pizza arrived. I was supposed to get my money back, but the complaint process has been taking a week and a half. The store simply isn't responding. I was offered one hrati pizza even though that didn't cover my €30 bill. Poor service

I ordered 2.5 hours ago. I went to the store to ask where my order was. When I got home, it wasn't even there half an hour later, and everything was cold.

We ordered 4 pizzas at 6:56 PM and our pizzas were delivered at 8:15 PM. The pizzas were cold and some pieces weren't even cooked through. One pizza was also overcooked and had only hard pieces on it. I normally don't have any problems with this place and have always been very satisfied. But this experience has significantly reduced my satisfaction. I also called several times and there was no answer. After half a minute of beeping, they hung up, up to five times. The receipt also stated that the time was 7:26 PM, which I think is taking a long time. I hope to hear from you and possibly receive compensation for the wait and for the cold and undercooked pizzas. Simply always good. You often see bad reviews at these kinds of fast-food restaurants and hamburger joints. Often one star because they forgot something or something like that. You don't see good reviews because they're not specific restaurants. I've been here several times or had it delivered, and it's always good.

We had a very bad experience. Ordered a pepperoni pizza with cheese on the side of the pizza. After 1,5 hrs we still haven’t received it , when I called the company they said they made a mistake and they are just putting a new pizza again in the oven what we will receive in 20 mins. Then after 5 mins the pizza arrived.. probably the mistaken..it was cold like it would come from a fridge, no cheese on the side and they charged us more than 30 euros. It was impossible to eat that pizza. Or even reheat. We called the company immediately and they said sorry and promised to credit back the amount … on the 3rd of December… it never happened since then (12th December….) This is a deep disappointment , poor customer service and could be a lie from the company itself that we receive our money back. Last time our pizza got delivered to the Neighbours also after almost 2 hrs. :( very disappointed

This is the first time I've had a complaint. They delivered the wrong pizza, and it was barely edible. I've tried calling them over 20 times, but they're not answering.

First time, but never again! Order was not delivered in full (really bad), I placed a repeat order and had to wait another hour! Everything took much longer than indicated!

I placed a group order and my pizza wasn't delivered. The delivery driver said he'd deliver within 20 minutes, but that didn't happen. I've called several times and no one answers. It's a terrible place.

Just ordered a California veggie pizza. It's absolutely shameless; they call it just dough with a few slices of onion. Besides, the pizza was ice cold. I know there are a lot of young students working there, probably trying to earn some extra cash as easily as possible. But you can't do that to customers. It should also have olives, mushrooms, and bell peppers, but sprinkling them on top means the staff has to move their hands more, and that's tiring... And then the vegetables run out and have to be cut and replenished... Ugh, just put as little on as possible so we can happily chat during work hours.

Warning to others: DO NOT ORDER HERE! It's simply a waste of money, a stomach ache, and tasteless food. I ordered two pizzas, and both were burnt, completely black. They also only had black onions and black chicken, nothing else. I immediately called them and told them this had happened several times, and this time I wouldn't accept it. THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE. They then told me there was little they could do about it. I kept insisting, "I won't accept it." What do you mean, I'm supposed to eat a burnt pizza and give it to my children? No way. After much discussion, I was told they would make and send a new one. I waited an hour, and then it finally arrived. Full of hope, I opened the pizza boxes, and unfortunately, I was disappointed again. The photo shows the second attempt at the pizzas: a disgusting, overcooked pizza, inedible!!! Thanks to this location, I won't have to see another pizza for a while.

Most pizzas are often missing ingredients (lettuce etc) the amount of pepperoni on this pizza was poor and not as described.

Order number: 2025-63573049 I want to file a complaint about my order today at New York Pizza Arnhem Elderveldplein. I clearly specified: no onions and no garlic sauce on either half of my pizza. What did I get? One half did have garlic sauce on it. And this despite me being allergic to garlic. I immediately told the delivery driver if he could just bring the correct half, because it was a Double Tasty pizza. But no, that wasn't possible; I would have to get a whole new one. I was hungry and called your location immediately. I was rudely assisted by a woman on the phone. First she said it would take 15 minutes, then another 5 to 10 minutes, and then another 15. She was completely incomprehensible. When I asked for compensation, she said it wasn't possible. The delivery driver said it was. So they were completely contradicting each other. Finally, I was told I could get a coupon instead of a new pizza. Sorry, but I'm not ordering pizza just because I want a coupon, am I? I'm just hungry. The way I was treated was absolutely ridiculous. No apology, no decent solution, just vague and blunt answers. So: the order was wrong, the service was terrible, the communication between us was a mess, and I don't feel taken seriously at all. I want to hear about this. And not in the form of a coupon, but just a proper solution.

Placed an order yesterday. It never arrived. When I called about it, the manager said she couldn't find anything in my order receipt and that I had to contact Thuisbezorgd. No proactive attitude whatsoever. Rude and antisocial, and this guy calls himself a manager. Disgraceful. Don't order from here; it always goes wrong. Ordered and paid for 2 pizzas. Message back: half an hour to 45 minutes, fine. After I received a message that the order had been completed, I called to ask where my pizzas had been delivered. The lady then told me without batting an eyelid that she did not have a pizza delivery person available, he was sick today 😳 But you already knew that when I placed my order, didn't you? Yes indeed. Why do you accept my order then? Yes eeeeh .... She also dares to say that I have 2 options, come and pick them up or cancel. Unbelievable. I also have to wait 5 days for my money. No more New York pizza people! It's the dough ... it's too dum, I would say.

Earlier this week I discovered the website of "Burger Kitchen" and there I see all their current locations, from what I have seen now they are all at the same address as NYP, also here Arnhem. What "BK" is known for is their dishes of "100% Halal" and that is exactly what I do not want to order and eat out of personal conviction. So I will no longer order from NYP locations to not take any risks.

The pizzas were okay. The toppings were rather concentrated, and the pizzas as a whole lacked a distinct flavor. The gyro pizza was missing the tzatziki sauce. They said it would be delivered as soon as possible. Half an hour later, still not received. The store was unreachable. Update: The store was reached. We'll receive a new pizza (with sauce).

Ordered 3 pizzas, one of which was a... Loaded pepperoni, well, see the photo, this is just a double pepperoni with a thick NYS crust, not so... I also ordered the salami pizza with a thick NYS crust. Also not a thick crust. I've been trying to reach them by phone since 5:30 PM, but it's now 5:49 PM, and they're just not answering!

They don't even deserve one star. They don't answer and didn't show up until after 11:00. Called 8 times and the delivery driver didn't know anything. The pizza is still cold, and it's less than a 6-minute bike ride away. Amateurs.

I ordered two pizzas. 45 minutes later, the delivery driver called me and said he'd been at the door and had rung the doorbell twice, but that I wouldn't be home. This is a blatant lie. I was home, and my partner was playing outside with our child in the street, waiting for the pizzas to arrive. He hadn't actually been at the door. He replied that he'd be right back. Normally, a delivery driver would call immediately if they were at the door and no one answered. But he called from somewhere else. We waited another 30 minutes, but the delivery driver still hadn't arrived. When we called the location, they didn't offer an apology, and they continued to lie that he'd been at the door. When we told them this wasn't a good service, they hung up on us. When we called again, they immediately hung up. On the third call, they told us we wouldn't be getting any pizzas and would be blacklisted. It's absolutely scandalous how they treat customers. I also mentioned that my 1.5-year-old son should have eaten by now and it was almost bedtime. And that I'm pregnant. But they didn't care. Update: The manager apologized and sent two codes for free pizza. In the end, only one of the two codes worked. I left it at that.

Never eaten or seen such a bad pizza. Cold, no taste, hard as stone. See photo (pizza margherita), doesn't look particularly tasty either. Not worth repeating.

I often order chicken wings and tenders here, but this time it seemed to come from a completely different store. The chicken was not crispy but was completely soft like sushi. Like it came out of the microwave. In the end I ate because I had already had such a hard, tiring day. The next morning it was a run to the toilet! This happened on the evening of December 14. I'll drop by soon to get a story. I would like to hear from the manager of that evening.

Had pizza delivered once after an eventful day...delivery was fast. Pizza was not cut and that was a real disappointment because I had to search for a pizza knife for a long time and the pizza was already lukewarm... so the last pieces were eaten cold... very unfortunate. Not for us again for this money.

Ordered 2 pizzas. New York pizza is very stingy and economical with the ingredients that go on the pizza. I ordered a chicken doner pizza and there were seriously only 5 pieces of chicken on the entire pizza. Garlic sauce was part of it… it wasn't there. And for the amount you pay you simply get far too little!

With the 40 cm pizzas it was as if the toppings for a maximum of 35 cm were put on them. The unlined edge is also too wide, dry and thick. You don't really want to eat, but you do it anyway. Tasty pizza in itself, but take a look at Domino's to see how they do it. We will order there again next time. Delivery was fine.

This was our first time ordering from New York Pizza elderveld. There is nothing to complain about the taste of the pizza, the only downside is that we opened the box and the pizzas were swimming in grease (see photo).

I often order the chicken tenders here, but this time it looked like it had been mixed with dishwashing liquid. What are you doing? Do you want to poison people or something?

Very variable. Every time I order it is a surprise whether it goes well or not. Sometimes the service is excellent, but sometimes the young people who work there are too busy with each other and the music is too loud. Sometimes the pizza is delicious and sometimes not at all. Then there is too little on the pizza or you get the wrong one. But if everything goes well, it's really enjoyable.

My experience at New York Pizza Elderveldplein was downright disappointing. Not only did my order arrive way too late and the pizzas were of poor quality, but the level of service was far below expectations. What was even more disturbing was that there were as many as seven underage employees working there. These young employees not only seemed to be insufficiently experienced to perform the tasks properly, but also did not seem motivated to take their work seriously. During my visit they seemed rather concerned with openly enjoying the discussion going on between me and the “manager”, which seriously compromised the efficiency of the complaint. The fact that the manager herself also appeared to be a minor and refused to give her name speaks volumes about the lack of professionalism in this establishment. The lack of leadership and supervision resulted in an overall poor customer experience. It is clear that there is an urgent need for improvement at this facility, not only in terms of service and quality, but also in terms of human resources and leadership. As a customer, I sincerely hope that action is taken quickly to address these issues and that future visits to New York Pizza will be a much more positive experience.

Food is good. Ordered from you 3 times this week. Which is quite a lot. Now they have forgotten my drinks and the mayonnaise with the patato wedges. Those patato wedges are quite pricey, almost €5, and then I forget the sauce and my drinks and then they become inaccessible. But got a coke from the cafeteria downstairs. Luckily they resolved this today and made a new order. Sweet and still good service.

Tasty pizzas. 12-1-2024 Picked up pizzas. Waited 40 minutes. Much respect for the very young employees. I see a lot of bad reviews, but when I saw the high workload yesterday, I understand that a lot can go wrong. Pizzas were fine. There is no accounting for taste.

Just ordered a pizza half half one with chicken the other with tuna. Literally there was a little bit of tuna on one piece. Called immediately, they said they would get another pizza and had already eaten a piece of the chicken. If the pizza was no longer delivered because we had already eaten a piece of the previous one. While it still ends up in the trash, it's ridiculous. We then hear “Exception”.

Ik geef deze 3 sterren, puur voor de minderjarige kids die daar hard aan het werk zijn ( wat ik eigenlijk heel raar vond om te zien toen ik binnenstapte, want het zat vol met minderjarige kids en letterlijk één iets oudere verantwoordelijke...)! De pizza's waren oké, op de veggie light na. Normaal hoort het niet zo pittig te zijn (denk ik), maar met 1 bite was mn mond aan het branden als de hel... niet echt een aanrader dus.

De helft van mijn bestelling was de bezorger vergeten mee te nemen, gelukkig nog wel gekregen maar verder geen excuus ervoor of iets. Aanbellen was denk ik ook moeilijk want dat deed de bezorger niet, beide keren, het is goed dat ik hem zag maar dit kan gewoon niet. Verder was het goed te eten maar de bezorgservice was k*t

Helaas pas ik deze vijfsterren review aan naar twee sterren. Ik ben normaal gesproken niet een persoon die na een slechte ervaring direct een review schrijft, maar na meerdere tegenvallende ervaringen voel ik me hier toch tot geroepen. Aanpassingen aan de pizza zoals een extra ingredient worden regelmatig vergeten. Ook het toppen gebeurt een stuk minder nauwkeurig, waardoor alles er scheef op ligt en onder de maat verdeeld is. Op de laatste pizza zat ook amper saus. En als hollander zijnde ga ik dan klagen om de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding, die ik zonder de 2e pizza 2 euro actie, volledig buiten alle proporties vind.

Pizza can 40cm besteld, waarvoor ik extra betaald heb voor een rand met cheddar, maar ik heb het zonder de rand met cheddar ontvangen. Omdat mijn gezien al hun stuk van de pizza al bijna had opgegeten toen ik het merkte werd de fout niet vergoed. Zo ben ik wat ik extra betaalde gewoon kwijt. Er werd niet aan oplossing gezocht maar gewoon gezegd: uw heeft de pizza al bijna op dus wij kunnen niets aan doen. Heel erg jammer en niet zo netjes!

Ik vindt het raar dat er een bedrijf die zo groot is dat je er geneens contant kan betalen als je pizza komt bestellen in de winkel. En anders moeten ze dat maar ergens bekend maken.

Ik had een pizza van de website besteld en bij deze locatie opgehaald. De medewerkers waren netjes en aardig. En pizza was onmiddellijk klaar, ook al was ik een beetje vroeg. De verbouwing van de pizza zaak is ook onmiddellijk te merken. Het was netjes en schoon.

Vandaag, vrijdag 7 jan 2022 2 pizza online besteld. Bij de online bestelling is een en ander fout gegaan waardoor wij 2 verkeerde pizza's bezorgd kregen. Gebeld met new York pizza Elderveld welke het probleem direct keurig opgelost hebben waarna wij binnen 10 minuten alsnog de juiste pizza's in huis hadden. Nee York pizza Elderveld TOP SERVICE !!!!

Na een half uur wachten of een pizza heb in gebeld met de locatie. Eerste keer kreeg ik geen telefonisch contact. Tweede keer bellen werd er wel opgenomen. Ik kreeg te horen dat het druk was en dat het nog een half uur zou duren voor de pizza bezorgd zou worden. Ik zou dan een uur op m'n pizza moeten wachten. Als compensatie zou ik de helft in tegoed bij New York Pizza terug krijgen. Zelf gevraagd om drinken erbij aangezien ik een uur in totaal moet wachten. De pizza is uiteindelijk na 55 minuten totaal bezorgd.... Zonder drinken.

Knoflookolie op de rand is niet hetzelfde als een swirl... en ook de nachos vergeten.

Het was erg druk. Dus kan me voorstellen dat t wat hectisch was. Al een hele tijd niet meer geweest. In mn herinnering was t altijd een grote stap in kwaliteit boven de Domino's pizza's. Dat was deze keer zeker niet het geval. Hopelijk volgende ronde weer beter.

Er kan wel een wat fout gaan op een drukke avond... maar hoe je het oplost is wat de goede nasmaak axhterlaat.. wat langer moeten wachten maar super service

Erg druk en logisch want ze hebben heerlijke pizza en met corona ga je niet uit eten dus bellen en bestellen. De aktie 5 pizza's max voor 5 per stuk is een goede aanrader probeer de nieuwste pizza; ...lekkerrrrrr!

Net een verkeerde pizza besteld en van de manager kreeg ik, als vaste klant, toch de juiste pizza opgestuurd. Top restaurant!!

Met een gezellige samenkomst met vrienden besloten om pizza te bestellen. Onze pizza's waren prima in orde op één pizza na. Een vriendin besloot om een glutenarme spinazie pizza te nemen. Toen zij haar doos opende wachtte haar een onaangename verrassing. Ze had maar liefst 3 spinazieblaadjes op haar pizza. We moesten zoeken naar de rest, maar daar zijn we nog steeds mee bezig. Beetje jammer.

Pizza was ietsje later (50 min, 45 min was aangegeven)wat op zich niet erg is. Maar als de pizza dan nog koud is vind ik het wel zonder van mijn geld. 11€ voor een koude pizza, vind ik wel lastig en een beetje veel. Amerikaanse pizza afgehaald. Was goed te eten, alleen bijna 10 euro voor een 25 cm kleine pizza is bij afhalen vrij prijzig.
