We have been visiting Restaurant Ni Hao in Nunspeet with great pleasure for many years and are pleasantly surprised every time. The food is truly exquisite, under the expert guidance of Chef Jie Chen. The service is also excellent: professional, attentive, and always exceptionally friendly. All this under the enthusiastic and hospitable leadership of Shuping Chen-Wu. In our opinion, the price-quality ratio is excellent. The wines are also of high quality and form a wonderful complement to the dishes. Be sure to ask for advice: the team knows exactly which wine pairs beautifully with the various dishes. And highly recommended: try one of the fantastic tea varieties. A delicious and special conclusion to a wonderful evening. In short, Restaurant Nihao is a place where hospitality, quality, and culinary enjoyment truly come together. Highly recommended!

My daughter recently invited me for a high-end Chinese menu. That lived up to expectations completely. What a treat it was to dine here in Nunspeet. The service was excellent and lovely. This is close to a Michelin star rating. It wouldn't surprise me at all if that were to happen someday. Top class. "Fantastic," I heard a couple say afterwards.

We had a delicious meal! We had a 6-course tasting menu and it was very tasty. The blonde lady was a really good hostess. One point of criticism: if you mention in advance that you have an allergy to coconut, it is strange that you get a coconut macaroon with your cappuccino....

I thought I'd just grab a quick Chinese bite; I've ordered takeout a few times while camping. But the surprise was complete; they really live up to their Michelin rating. No standard menu here, but I've never eaten so well at a Chinese restaurant. The service was super friendly; the only point of criticism is that the chairs aren't really comfortable for sitting at a table for over two hours 😅

The food is good. It is very different from the 'average Chinese', though, but that is precisely what sets them apart. If that is exactly what you like, don't eat here. Their specialty seems to be duck, which is indeed very tasty. I have eaten at the restaurant a few times with varying groups. Always good. This time I got takeout. The babi pangang was overcooked. The portions are small. But what bothers me most is the businesslike (almost arrogant) attitude of the staff. Not without reason. Friendliness and any service are hard to find. Exceptions aside (Chinese intern?).

We had an excellent meal. A peaceful atmosphere and beautiful Chinese decor. Pleasant service, neatly dressed and well-groomed. We had the four-course menu. This is based on shared dining. Matching wines and matching tea for the designated driver. All in all, we had a great evening.

We visited Ni Hao in Nunspeet to celebrate Valentine’s Day and what a lovely surprise it was. From the outside and based on the website, I wouldn’t have expected such refined dishes and warm, attentive service. The website feels quite old-fashioned and doesn’t really reflect the modern fine dining experience they actually offer. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have been surprised since they are listed in the Michelin Guide. We chose the 5-course menu and added the Wagyu. Even though I know it’s a fine dining concept, I somehow forgot that it’s still Chinese cuisine — and with five courses plus Wagyu, I was sooo full by the end! Portions were generous in the best way. Not every dish was equally outstanding, but most of them were truly excellent. It was my first time having scallops prepared in that style, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The veal was absolutely amazing — super tender and full of flavor. The Wagyu was slightly below expectations as it was a bit overcooked, but it was still flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, it’s definitely a restaurant worth trying.

We had opted for a 3-course tasting menu. We had a delicious meal; the dishes were also beautifully presented. It is a bit tricky to understand the rules of the menu, but we received excellent explanations. It was not entirely clear when the next course would be served, or when it was complete. Very friendly service. Quiet atmosphere; we were seated at a table separated by thin curtains.

The house spring roll was absolutely awful, a tough, flavorless morsel. The babi pangang was incredibly hard and unchewable. We won't be back.

Unfortunately, the house spring roll, the babi bangang spring roll, was inedible; the meat was very tough and the crust was impossible to cut. They won't see me here again, and the guests didn't like it either.

I came across this restaurant by chance. Shared dining. They took allergies into account while cooking the delicious dishes. If I am in the area, I will definitely come back. I don't know what the takeaway is like at this restaurant. Attentive and very friendly staff.

This restaurant seems to have a different and questionable definition of Bami Goreng. At home we were surprised to get white noodles with ham cubes and a slice of ham and a fried egg. We knew about the ham, but dudes... No soy sauce? Not fried? We had been looking forward to fried noodles in soy sauce with that well known taste like usually when you order "Bami Goreng". Food was ok, but we really wanted something else. One more thing: During the order, when asked to exchange ham with chicken the answer was "I don't think, that's possible". Wow, exchanging meat is impossible to these people.

Our first visit to this restaurant. Acquaintances had already recommended that we go here. I “fear” that we will be coming here quite often. This is Chinese food in a culinary setting. Never had such bad Chinese food. I picked it up with someone, and they got theirs after 45 minutes. I had to wait another 15 minutes, and his food was already cold again, even though I'd ordered earlier and got the same food he'd ordered. We were on our bikes, cold and wet! We were happy that the restaurant was still open. Unfortunately... We were NOT welcome! We could still order food and take it with us, but not anymore. Then we asked if we could have coffee and to warm up... Unfortunately, we had to leave and go back into the rain and cold! No food, no drinks... NOTHING! Scandalous!

We were staying nearby and came across this restaurant. Very nice Asian/Chinese restaurant with modern dishes. Or a menu or a few dishes from the menu to share. We chose the latter and they were all fantastic dishes with flavor. We found the controls too stiff/constructed. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

Tonight on the way home I got a spring roll here and a menu with Nasi / Babi Pangang / Tjap-Tjoy / Satay. Spring roll . Lots of bean sprouts, little flavor The Nasi, richly filled, little taste The Babi Pangang, good, could use more flavor The Tjap Tjoy is well filled, could use more flavor The satay just good All in all, the dishes could use a little more flavor, all a bit bland. We were looking for a nice evening in this restaurant for days but it was just disappointing. The service staff was so unqualified and the owner didn’t care at all. We had to wait at least 15-20 min until we got to see the menu. The restaurant was busy but there were so many people working that one hand didn’t know what the other hand was doing. Most of the times they were just standing behind the bar with 5 people. Incredible! Anyway, we ordered 6 different kind of „tapas“. Prices are really really high for the small portions you get. The food was in general ok but nothing super fancy or outstanding. Plus the wait for the food was way too long; after 1:15h we had two portions dim sum (4 pieces each) and were hungry waiting for the next round. The bill was 93€ for two people which is fine if the overall experience would have been worth it. Unfortunately, we do not recommend this place.

The dishes are good but not very filling. When ordering, we only take one dish per person. The owner warns us that the dishes are not very generous and tells us that she will do what is necessary. In the end she doubled the portions and also the price. Very professional service.

We were at the parking space in Hulshorst and got food from Ni Hao. The restaurant is really chic, the food was really very tasty. Menu B is highly recommended, as are the spring rolls! Mega!

We hebben met 6 personen gekozen voor het 5 gangen verrassingsmenu. Dit is echt een aanrader. De bediening is super en attent. Het eten is erg lekker en een belevenis.

Wat een verrukkelijke verrassing, een culinaire chinees in Nunspeet. En wat een leuke keuze, qua open wijnen, helaas zijn niet alle open wijnen op dat moment verkrijgbaar. We hebben gekozen voor een 4 gangen menu, maar als voorkeur aangegeven geen dessert. We zijn gestart met een verrukkelijke frisse salade, wat een heerlijke smaken. Als tweede gerecht werd ons een aantal voorgerechtjes geserveerd. Zeer verrassend en smaakvol. Hierna werd de eend geserveerd met wraps, ook dit was heel lekker. Het laatste gerecht was weer voortreffelijk, wij werden met name verrast door de hertenfilet met paddestoelen, Top. Jammer was het dat wij op de factuur moesten ontdekken, dat er een toeslag was gerekend omdat we geen dessert hadden genomen. Logisch maar vertel dat gewoon na het bestellen van de keuze. Zeker omdat we ook nog geëindigd waren met een heerlijke thee en een kopje expresso met een cognacje. Maar het was een verrassende ontmoeting met dit culinaire restaurant. De bediening moet nog een stapje bijzetten. Maar we komen zeker nog een keer terug om te genieten van de heerlijke verschillende smaken.

FOR DINING: USE CAREFUL. We had to leave the restaurant. You can't have a peaceful meal there but you'll be stressed by their rules - but you have to abide by their extremely strange and absurd restaurant rules. They don't take customer satisfaction into account - but think they are doing something new and creative! Absolutely arrogant service too. The staff also doesn't explain well. For example: if you order two different dishes as starters, they only serve one at a time. If there are 10 people - 5 vegetarians and 5 non-vegetarians - only one dish comes at a time and the other 5 people have to wait. Think 100 times before going there. The menu is completely different for Dine-In and Takeaway. FOR TAKEAWAY: A good place for Chinese food in Nunspeet. But PICK UP ONLY!!!!!!

Deze tent is bagger 😩. Ontvangst door ober die drie keer ons de kaart probeerde uit te leggen, nadat wij de ober vertelde dat wij met vijf personen een gezellige avond uit en lekker wilde eten. Tussen bestelling en uitvoering (eten op tafel) verliep één uur! Dat, de uitvoering, gebeurde met vier mini-loempia’s. Dit was bedoeld voor twee personen, de overige drie personen kregen nog niets. Na vragen of de dumlings voor de overige drie personen konden komen, we waren immers met ons vijven en wilde graag tegelijk eten. Dat pastte niet bij het ‘concept’. Ik dacht dat dat bij marketingbureaus gebruikt werd en niet bij een Chinees restaurant 😩. Als we het concept niet accepteerde konden we maar beter vertrekken. Of we wel even 40 EURO wilde wilden betalen. Nou dat hebben we gedaan voor vier miniloempia’s en vervolgens naar de Chinese Muur, Marktplein in Nunspeet waar we ouderwets kip-kerrie, etc lekker hebben gegeten 😊. Concepten is meer voor marketingbureaus en niets voor ons 🤣😂

Not just any Chinese... the food is always freshly prepared and delicious! Takeaway is great, but you actually have to make a reservation in the restaurant itself... because the menu contains non-standard dishes. You almost eat your fingers, it's so delicious. (Of course you can also ask for the menu for the standard dishes) but I would recommend everyone to go for something different.

The tomato soup has a nasty taste and is thicker than motor oil. Spring roll was even drier than the Sahara and had no taste. The bami pang aisle is so dirty that I almost broke my neck. If you really want good Chinese food, go to Elspeet and NOT to this place!
