Really nice Tex mex spot in Eindhoven. I just wish they’d use a little more salt and make the food a little spicier. Luckily their salsa verde makes everything better ❤️

We found the experience quite disappointing. I specifically ordered vegetarian food and we were served two different meat items despite me clearly specifying that we are vegetarians. We already started eating the food and I had to check with the waitress to check what she had served us. Honestly shocked at the apathy. The food taste was also quite mediocre and overpriced. I had gone with so much expectations and it was a total let down. I have eaten far better mexican food in different parts of the Netherlands as well as outside. Better to avoid if you are vegetarian to avoid such situations.

Literally don't have enough good words - such amazing Mexican food! Hands down the best we've had since moving to the Netherlands. Highly recommend the nachos and MF burrito ☺️

I usually steer clear of Dutch Mexi food but while waiting for my clothes to finish washing at the nearby wasserette I heard some nice Norteño music. I ventured in and felt like some ‘hole in the wall’ places back home. Very nice people and atmosphere, good food and quality Jamaica. Thank you for the bit of home in the Netherlands.

Felt like an authentic mexican place. You can tell that their tortilla and nachos are freshly made and the seasoning and the mix of their ingredients is very well made. If you are ever in Eindhoven or surroundings wanting a mexican place with delicious food, this is it. They are also available for delivery and take away which is a plus. Will come back again!

10/10 beef taco’s. Loaded, really tasty, fresh and juicy. Unlimited salsa on the side, and really fast service. The employees are also really kind and friendly. Highly recommend, and will definitely come back!

Jada is the goat of Nico’s. Not sure if she works there anymore but her service and hospitality were unmatched compared to the other workers. She makes customers feel recognized and definitely deserves a pay raise if it was up to me.

I ate here yesterday and it was delicious! It is a nice, small restaurant, but it has something special/different about it; it is not fancy, quite simple but definitely unique. The meat was deliciously seasoned, you get a really well-filled plate, and it is not expensive either. The staff in the restaurant are incredibly nice and helpful. Just one tip though: don't forget the window sills when cleaning the tables.

What a wonderful experience this was. The food tasted truly fantastic and the portions were just right. The quesadillas were perfectly prepared with those beautiful golden brown grill marks and a rich filling of melted cheese. The combination with the fresh guacamole and the creamy sour cream also completed the dish perfectly. I will definitely be back here soon for more.

Nice spot located a bit farther away from the city center. While it is near a fairly busy street, the atmosphere of the neighborhood is very cute. While the place is small, we were able to find a spot for the 7 of us immediately. Ordering went smoothly, but we received the food with quite some time in between dishes which was not that weird considering the 2 (i think) people working in the kitchen. Even though the first people received their food 20 minutes before the others, it was definitely worth the wait as the food was absolutely amazing! The waiter was super nice and everyone enjoyed their drinks. Would definitely come back! Thanks

Best Mexican food ive had in this country

I was on a break from a +1h long drive and had a delicious serving of beef taco with guac, pico de gallo, a bit of cheese and 3 types of hot sauces. Staff was delightfully friendly and well spoken. I was helped by the lovely Dwayna (sorry if I mispelled) and I ended up staying a little longer just for the friendly banter. I wish more restaurants in my vicinity had staff this friendly. Definitely would recommend and aim to come back later.

Still one of the best restaurants in Eindhoven. The horchata is a must.

Every time I am remotely close to Eindhoven I have to stop here to eat. I’m from LA and it tastes like home, and feels like a friendly neighborhood place. I particularly love the carne asada nachos. I wish they were closer to Leiden!

Truly amazing, the food was perfect, the service was superb, and the atmosphere was Mexican. I suddenly feel like becoming Mexican. With the first bite, a taste sensation coursed through my entire body. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed with the service this time. I ordered a burrito, but it came without any sauce or even a plate. It was simply placed on the table. What a pity.

If you're in the Netherlands, it's perfect for you. :) If you're Mexican, avoid disappointment. It's not a corn tortilla, it's more like fried roti, and the carnitas seem like they exorcised the pig—not a single ounce of flavor. XD

Food is decent, I really liked the hand made tortillas. It is a bit strange and also unhygienic that when needing to go to the bathroom you have to walk through the kitchen.

Nice and delicious Mexican foods. First visit I tried chicken chimichanga, second visit I tried chicken quesadilla. I couldn't explain about the taste of food but for me, I like them. The mixed between chicken, tortilla and cheese, it's not too cheesy. Perfect combination. Sure will be back there.

First, I’m really confused at reviews calling this authentic Mexican food (especially from Mexicans?). This is Tex-Mex and the restaurant advertised themselves that way too. I prefer real Mexican but I still decided to give this a shot since Tex-Mex isn't bad. Some of the photos looked authentic and good though, so I ordered carne asada tacos. However, once I received it, it had no flavor. As someone who is from the US in an area with a lot of Mexican immigrants, I know what it's supposed to taste like. But steak was not marinated well. The rice and refried beans also had no flavor. Corn tortillas seemed good at least. My friends that ordered chimichangas were okay with it, but said that there wasn't enough spice in the sauce they gave us (but fair, who would make things spicy catered to Dutch people?). However service was good and the waiters were really nice and at least water was free (hard to find in the Netherlands). I'm just really surprised this place has such high reviews when it's really not all that. If you like Tex-Mex or maybe you're just looking for something quick to eat, sure try it. But I'll definitely be sticking to Jitomato in Maastricht and Tacoteca in Amsterdam since they serve authentic Mexican food with flavor.

This is the only place in Europe where you will find authentic California-Mexican style food. Everything tastes just like does in California and it is so good we drive from Germany to eat here! The enchilada sauce is super authentic, as well as everything else here. Do yourself a favor and eat here, you will come more often. Please open up another spot in Germany! See you guys later today.

Hands down the only place I've found in NL that serves real Mexican food like you get in the US. Not the watered down “European Mexican” version but the is proper, flavour-packed, authentic food. They make their own proper corn tortillas in house for their burritos and fajitas. You can actually taste the texture and the depth you expect from real Mexican cooking. The fillings are generous, well seasoned, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. If you have lived in the US or travelled there and miss real Mexican food, this is the place. It genuinely feels like something you would find in California, Texas or Arizona. Absolutely recommended.

To be honest, I'm very disappointed. I love Mexican cuisine and eat there often, so I know what true Mexican food should be like—but this was truly subpar. The dishes didn't taste authentic and didn't seem fresh at all. The meat didn't smell or taste good, so I couldn't even finish my plate. For the price we paid, you expect quality and fresh ingredients, but this was absolutely not worth the money. Very expensive for what you get. Very greasy. For me, this wasn't Mexican cuisine, but a poor interpretation of it. I won't be returning and, unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

This was my first time eating authentic mexican food and I liked it. We tried beef chimichanga, beef quesadillas and nachos. The nachos were freshly made and perfectly salted. I would say I liked them more than anything, together we the green hot sauce that can be used on the side. The quesadillas portion was huge and tasty. The chimichanga was a bit too heavy for me (though it's a deep fried burrito so it's to be expected). The only negative is that we thought the beef was a bit too chewy especially on the chimichanga. We also tried the mango flavoured soda drink and it was balanced, not overly sweet which we liked. We also liked the vibe of the place and the service was good too.

Highly recommended!! Beautifully decorated inside, great service. When we sat down, the girl working immediately gave us the menu, and she was very friendly. She even came over to check if everything was to our liking. The food was truly, REALLY delicious🌯🌮 We will definitely be back!

Fantastic food. Originally being from southern California I thought I'd never find good Mexican food in Europe, but I was wrong. I wish it was closer, but honestly anytime I'm in Eindhoven I know where I'll be eating!

The food is as close to home as possible!!!!! The carne asada tacos… perfection! The enchiladas … killer!!!! And the best pozole I have actually ever eaten… ever!!!! I licked the bowl clean!!!!! I recently ate at Nico's for the fourth time, and once again, it was delicious and fresh. The restaurant has a cozy and atmospheric atmosphere. The staff is friendly and happy to help you with your choice. The dishes are affordable and definitely worth the portion and quality you get. If you're looking to explore more Mexican cuisine in the Eindhoven area, this is the place. I hope to eat there again soon.

Ordered carne asada for delivery. Instead of calling me to say they were out, the restaurant sent pork instead Every restaurant I've ever ordered from calls you first if they need to make a substitution. This place just sends whatever they want. It’s bad service, but it's also a major safety issue. Crucially, I am allergic to pork and cannot eat it. Their total lack of communication made my entire meal inedible. This experience highlights disregard for customer care and basic professional standards. Not very bueno

I heard good things, but honestly, the nacho's were very very bad. Only fat, dripping literally, no taste. It was also not a lot of food, we got fries with it to male up for it, but I didn't come (or pay) for fries, I came for good Mexican food, and that was really not on the table.

To be honest very disappointed. Read some reviews beforehand that make it look like it’s authentic Mexican food, but the reality is very far from that. All food is very oily; tacos, burrito, enchiladas, all tasteless and full of oil. Definitely is missing even basic spices and all meat was chewy. Unfortunately the first and last time here.

¡Qué rico para el antojito! I know how difficult is to cook "real Mexican food" in Holland (our ingrediënten are not the easiest to get) but this restaurants makes me feel like if I was in a "fondita" or "mercadito", tasty and really fast served and "pero lo más importante" is that every little detail was settled in a very specific and important way to bring the atmosphere to traditional Mexican style

Best Mexican food - this authentic quality is hard to come by outside North America.

I’m from LA and have been looking for good Mexican food for so long, and the moment I saw the pictures from this place, I knew it was going to be good. I came in with the highest expectations, and I was not disappointed. My friends and I had traveled from Delft, and after our train got stuck for 3 hours, we were having a rough day — but this restaurant completely turned it around. The food was amazing, the vibes were great, and the experience honestly made our day. I’m surprised it’s not more popular because it truly deserves it!

Second time we ate from Nico's. Although the food is OK it is very bland (even after adding their salsa). I ordered for 1730 and needed to wait just under 10 mins. Prices are reasonable.

I visited this place a few days ago to meet some friends. We all got serious food poisoning. The hygienic conditions are simply not there.

We accepted the owner's offer to come back for a second chance, especially because we found her response so professional and genuine. Thankfully so. It was absolutely delicious. The welcome was warm and welcoming. The staff was engaged and interested. And visibly relieved that we had enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back! You truly deserve a huge compliment for the way you handled this. A direct, proactive response to a customer complaint with a request for a second chance is only possible if you are very customer-focused and confident in the quality of your products. And rightly so, both exceeded our expectations. A dissatisfied, silent customer is never seen again and gives you a bad reputation, because they'll talk about it with others. A dissatisfied customer who shares feedback with you, and you then ignore it! Then too, you never see them again and you give you a bad reputation, because they'll talk about it with others. The beef in the Meat Lovers Carna Asada plate was bone dry and tasteless. We were actually quite disappointed with the food. The setting is comparable to a snack bar. Suitable for a quick bite, but for that price, there are much better options. A one-time experience for us. Too bad, because the service staff was very friendly.

The food is excellent. Authentic Mexican cuisine, no frills. The restaurant has more of a snack bar feel. The service is very pleasant and friendly. We'll be going here again.
