Taco Mundo Eindhoven in Oud-Stratum

Would never recommend, please order from another place. I made a pickup order 2 hours in advance through Thuisbezorgd. Went to pick up RIGHT ON TIME (1 minute before the scheduled time on the clock), and the “kind” lady at the counter said she did not have my order at all. At first I was surprised so I showed her the THUISBEZORGD APP ON MY PHONE WITH THE ORDER, which she rejected too. She was then kind enough to kick me out for asking to wait for my order and said “you can stay as long as you like, you are not getting your food”. I tried to reason that I was willing to wait and she started talking back to me that I was not getting my food while the other staff member looked in confusion. She can try to blame me all she wants, all I literally did was laugh when she first said no because I could not believe it since I was very sick and hungry at the time. Yet she yelled and kicked me out.

Burrito whit doubel cheese , almost no cheese, in two burritos

Unfortunately half an hour late, the Thuisbezorgd phone number was incorrect. Cold too spicy but mostly cold. I will never order from here again!!!!!!!!!!!

I will make it short: They have some unique tastes, but other than that it's casual Mexican food and nothing really special that made me say: OMG. This doesn't mean that I hated it, just not surprised.

Taco Mundo was always our go-to, but this was the last time. The quality has deteriorated so much; the pulled beef is so dry and the texture is clearly different beef than it used to be. It has really changed enormously, which is such a shame.

Ordered food, there was hardly any meat on it. Called the manager, the lady says: due to cost restrictions we have to use less meat, and sir, you got 2 for the price of 1... so surely that shouldn't matter so much? I definitely paid for 2. But even with those 2 combined, I was eating more tortilla than pulled beef.

I hate to say it, but these were the worst burritos I've ever had. They were bland, mostly just tasteless rice, there was hardly any meat, and the black beans were hard. The shipment was fast.

I never received my order!! Place an order via the Thuisbezorgd app. Turns out they have been closed for ages! Which I only found out a few hours later. It said they had accepted the order, though. So now I am on my night shift without food, and I have to sit there starving until 7:30 AM. Great! By the way, the Thuisbezorgd app still says that they are open right now. Which is not the case. They were unreachable by phone. I want my money back! *(I will get my money back via Thuisbezorgd within 5 working days)

The burritos and tacos are delicious, but the churros are just those supermarket frozen churros. Thanks for your reply, but why import this when you could make it much tastier yourself with your own dough? An Italian pizzeria doesn't import frozen pizza from Italy either; they make their own dough too.

The food was okay but the service horrible. So I asked for a burrito and a soda. She took my money and I asked for my soda as I wait for my burrito - the fridge was right next to her. She refused asking me to wait. Then I asked her again - she refused again saying that she will being it herself. I was so thirsty - but she has issues with control and wanted me to understand that *she decides* when I get my drink. Please look into it, this is very unprofessional especially considering how expensive everything is you'd expect they can afford to pay the salary of someone who doesn't enact subconscious control fantasies on customers.

Takes them 2 hours to deliver an order on a sunday , mind u not even a week day. Ordered at 18 with order time between (18:20-18:40) my order came in at 20:01 after i had to call them twice and ask them about it , mind you the first time i called them at 19 the guy on the phone told me '15 minutes and its at your door' while having a garbage tone. If you want mediocre tacos at the cost of 2 hours of waiting this is the place :)

Highly unprofessional and stupid staff who don't know how to talk to customer. So arrogant. No respect for the customer at all. They think they are the king of the world even though we are paying for the food. If you ask for anything extra or request something, they behave as if you have asked them for a kindney. Update: Your response clearly shows the behavior i was trying to highlight. Thanks. If someone asks you for extra ketchup or sauce, you can charge extra and not pass on derogatory remarks. You showed your class. Bdw: here in Netherlands, we do have a king and a Queen.

Taco Mundo was a discovery a few years ago, and every time we return to Eindhoven, we always order takeout to enjoy excellent food, perhaps in a beautiful park. Normal wait times, average prices, and decent portions! I recommend it.

Still the best burrito in Eindhoven in my opinion. Kudos to the guys.

Taco Mundo. I haven't had a good experience with them myself, but let's be clear: this is the downside of franchising (or the upside): everyone tries their best in their own way. The chain has occasional "deals," just like everyone else, but just order what you like, because you deserve to be pampered too. This branch buys everything from a Muslim butcher, which is often more hygienic and, in my opinion, caters to a wider range of customers. Anyway, what did I get? The enchilada, burrito, and quesadilla. Yeah, uh, delicious! Spicy, nicely filled, and not that stingy stuff. And for those who say it's okay for a fast-food restaurant, be positive. We don't all eat at a Michelin-starred restaurant every day. Or do you mean the "fancy restaurants" where everything is served in a flash, often fried to boot? Taco Mundo Eindhoven, man, you're doing really well. The flavor is fantastic, the sauces are probably part of the concept, but classy, ​​guys. Delicious mango sauce. The delivery man initially refused to deliver to my front door because it was raining. Most of the food was ok, albeit a bit soggy, however the morning after was met with furious vomiting from my wife. Never again.

Despite mixed reviews, I ordered it because I felt like having a burrito. Pleasantly surprised by how quickly it was delivered (it said 45 minutes but the courier was at the door after 20 minutes!). The burrito was a very good portion and the fries were still nice and crispy!

Ordered a burrito and quesadilla. They delivered within 30min. The burrito cost €10,- but it's big, tasty, fresh and worth the money. The quesadilla was also really good and fresh. The packaging has a great design. Best take out burrito in Eindhoven with great service. No more Taco Bell for me. From now on Taco Mundo every time. Order by there app not thuisbezorgd.

I placed an order today at 9:21 PM and it was delivered at 9:41 PM. After changing my son, I wanted to eat my order fifteen minutes later only to discover that the loaded nachos were missing. At 9:59 PM I call just to let them know that something is missing. I didn't even ask for a new one because I also saw that it was closing time, I just wanted to make it known that something was missing and that the only option was to get that money back. I get a very rude and frustrated employee on the phone who indicates that it is impossible that they have forgotten something and that the bag is being checked by 6 people. So at this moment this man calls me a liar since the blame certainly does not lie with taco mundo. I then hold back, but later in the conversation I am asked why I am only calling now? 18 minutes after receiving order? Like I'll call the next day?! If I indicate that I am not pleased with his attitude and rude way of communicating, I am told that my money will be refunded and I will never have to order from the business in question again. Again like I did something wrong? When I got frustrated myself and spoke to him about his rude way of communicating, the swearing started back and forth as if you were talking to an 8-year-old child. In short, don't order here and certainly don't call too late at night because then you will get a lot of unprofessional bullshit from someone who I think has issues at home.

Utterly dreadful, Robbery! Made an order under the impression that it could be delivered when I realised it could t (a minute later) tried to call. It you cannot get the through because the braindead robot refuses to understand and then hangs up on you instead of transferring to a human. Absolutely dreadfull.

Incredibly bad customer service. My kids were left to starve till 9:00pm while the order mentioned that food will be delivered between 7:30pm-7:50pm. I had tried calling customer care number mentioned. It does not accept my pincode. There is no representative who can answer my question. Can't reach the outlet to enquire about the delivery. What a pity state. I don't recommend anyone. Quality also has been pretty pathetic for the last two times. I seriously hate to order again from here. Updating after reply (18-04-2024): I have rates high when the service was okay. However, I can see that the quality slipping for two consecutive times and more, then I have changed my review. You mentioned about weather, I give you benefit there. However there is absolutely no excuse not to have a customer support or telephone number to reach the outlet. I hope you recognise that.

Don't eat here. It's better to get a menu at Jumbo or Albert Heijn. Dry mess it is there. And the people who work here are really ridiculous how they treat their customers. If you ask something, they don't look at you dead. And then about the service. The only service they provide is that you can quickly pay your receipt and move on.

Ordered and after 4 hours of waiting I did not get my food and was marked as Delivered on Uber Eats, tried calling them during the waiting and phone was turned off. They put themselves available for delivery on Uber Eats after they have closed to steal money from people and you then have to deal with Uber Eats support and wait for weeks to get your money back or not get it at all. Terrible and unprofessional scammers, would never order again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS!! The food is dry, tasteless and/or no longer warm. Especially the minced meat and chicken in the dishes. When you order a cheeserito you just get a burrito because the cheese decreases with the week. The enchiladas and quesadillas also literally taste like nothing. When you enter the business itself, you immediately notice the lack of hospitality. You don't feel welcome at all. All in all, better go to the neighbors.

We have been ordering cheeseritos for years. Nowadays they put less and less cheese on it and have increased the price. If you ask for more cheese (as was previously included) you have to pay an additional 1.50. Really ridiculous!! Staff on site are far from friendly. Chicken quesadilla doesn't taste like anything. Today was really our last order after MANY disappointments. NOT RECOMMENDED!

I ordered food at 19.30 and never received my order even though the delivery estimation was saying it was coming between 20-30 minutes from the moment of order. I tried to call them both with the number on here and on Uber Eats but the phone was not even ringing. After 3 hours from the moment of order I receive a notification on Uber Eats and the order was marked as received, which was not true. Now I’m having trouble getting back my money

I never leave reviews but the food here was impeccable. People leaving bad reviews are just objectively wrong or have never had authentic Mexican food. This is by far the best in all of Eindhoven. Even the delivery was good. It was fast, and the food was still as if it had been made 5 seconds ago.

Tasty, freshly made. I ordered online, but to ensure everything is warm, it will be prepared when you get there. Fine. Now that we know that, next time we'll just go 5 minutes earlier 😀

Omdat ik weer eens zin had in taco’s, dacht ik om weer eens hier te bestellen. De vorige keer was het een teleurstelling, maar daar ging de eigenaar meteen een oplossing voor zoeken wat ik wel fijn vond. Dit keer hebben we het weer laten bezorgen en het kwam allemaal goed aan en geen doorweekte verpakking en sauzen over de kop. Eten was lekker en warm. Dus was er tevreden mee!

Eten komt veel ste laat en geen respect scooter rijder schelden me gewoon uit ik vindt dit onacceptabel gedrag.
